Inner Strength

Akuha was annoyed. Not only was she separated for her sister and best friend. She was going against someone who was immune to her Hougetsu Jigen-tou. Jinn was…well a Jinn Whenever she tried to us it on him he would simply turn into flames and slip away. Her fingers burned and her clothes were singed but she had to keep fighting. At least that was what she thought.

A loud monstrous roar halted the combatants in their tracks. It was something that Akuha had never heard before but underneath the deep ground shaking, ear pound roar was a feminine undertone.

Using Hougetsu Jigen-tou she avoided a ball of flame that passed right through her. Most of her attention however was still focused on the roar. It was close, real close. It could only have come from one of two people. Either way she needed to help and no one not even the Jinn will stop her. The fire nor any other physical attack could harm her in her current state. Ignoring the Jinn Akuha leaped through the flames and toward her sister.

What she saw both angered her and confused her. Alucard standing over a defeated Tsukune, the assassin with her helmet off and with moka's face. Then there was Moka or what was supposed to be Moka. Her skin had turned black and hard like living armor. Wings protruded from her back and eyes were white and without pupils.

Suddenly the creature that was Moka dashed forward. Blood made an attempt to intervene but it was for not. Moka simply side step around Blood. As she passed the assassin Moka twirled around. The transformation had changed her fingertips to become claws and she was going to use them. One swipe and Blood's back gained five bloody slashes. Her cry of pain was ignored by Moka who had turned her attention to Alucard. The man in question looked back at the monstrous woman with interest. He didn't need to wait long for Moka to react.

Alucard craned his neck to the side lowered his body avoiding the sudden and fast swipe from Moka. He quickly backpedaled away from the creature no longer carrying a grin. The reason being incredibly clear as a long cut appeared on the side of his face. Blood slowly started to seep out of it.

No quarter was given as Moka reached out with her other claw. This time Alucard jumped back. The scowl on his face increased for while he remained unharmed by Moka's attack his suit did not.

Akuha watched in a mixture of amazement and confusion. What happen to her little sister? In her stupor she forgot one thing. "It is a bad idea to ignore your opponent in the heat of battle." A male voice called out from besides her. Akuha clenched her teeth. She had taken too long, now Jinn was upon her again. Or so she thought.

Moving to a defensive stance Akuha readied herself for Jinn's attack.

PFFFFFSSSSSHHH

A small explosion set off not to for from her and the Jinn but instead of heat, shrapnel and flame Akuha was engulfed in foam. Jinn was also touched by the foam but unlike Akuha who merely looked and her foam covered body in disgust he hissed in pain. Not a moment later several more explosions erupted on the battlefield, all spreading foam around and putting out the flames.

"We're leaving." Alucard said simply to his cohorts.

"Very well sir." Jinn bowed. Blood said nothing but nodded.

Dodging another one of Moka's attacks he turned to Akuha and spoke. "Rein in your beast else I'll destroy her." And with that, he was gone. Moka growled at the loss of her pray. Seeing her chance, Akuha heeded Alucard's words. As much as she wanted to go after the man she could not with Tsukune down and Moka in such a wild state. Akuha grabbed Moka from behind.

Moka did not being grabbed. She shook and shimmed trying to get her attacker off of her. "Stop, Moka! It's me, your sister. You need to calm down!" the attacker said.

Those words meant nothing to Moka. She needed to find her pray. She needed to kill her pray. She wanted revenge. Wait…revenge for what. What was it that she was doing before? She was…she was fighting someone…someone who looked like her. She was with two other people…they were investigating an attack. The whirlwind of thoughts stopped abruptly as something grabbed her. She looked down. It was a hand, a hand belonging to someone she knew, someone she loved. Tsukune.

"Mo-Moka ssstttoop. Don't go." The grasped on her leg weakened. Moka stopped struggling and Akuha lessened her grip with just a little.

"Tsukune?!" Moka yelled. Her armor skin shattered into billons of pieces. She paid it little thought. The only thing on her mind was Tsukune. She bent down and cradled him in her arms. He as alive, unconscious and beaten up but alive. Moka sat there crying and confused. How were they beaten so easily?

Akuha watched the Moka quietly. As much as she wanted to join Moka she could not. Not when there was an armed figure moving towards them who through Akuha's keens senses told her he was human. Even if it was a human she couldn't underestimate him.

"Stop right there." She yelled. The human complied. "Who are you?" she asked.

The human glanced at Tsukune and Moka then to Akuha. "We need to get Tsukune medical attention."

Akuha expression went from wary to confusion then to Surprised. Even Moka looked up at the newcomer. "How do you know Tsukune." Akuha asked.

The armed man smiled. "Well when your girlfriend happens to be a good friend of all of you, you tend to learn a thing or two about them." A moment of silence passed over the group. "Oh how rude of me. My name is Tristan Benz."
