Hey there guys! I'm updating now because I won't be able to update tomorrow, I'm going the cinema to watch a horror film! To reply to a review from one of my most favourite reader on here, no, Bella was not changed. She explained that she was between consciousness in a place she feels safe. I know there are many similarities to the last chapter and the description of Bella's change in Breaking Dawn but, no, she was not changed and is still alive. On with the show!
Edward. The first person I saw. My gaze immediately hardened and I spoke "..." Well, attempted. I was passed a small plastic cup with water inside. I quickly downed it, cherishing the lovely soothing sensation of the cold water in my throat. I cleared my throat and started again. "What the hell happened?" " You suffered a concussion and broke your legs, due to a blow to the kneecaps. Your left leg is broke in two places, above your knee and in the centre of your shin. Luckily, your right leg was a clean break, so setting it was if you could kindly provide why you stormed off like that, knowing Victoria was out there!" I swallowed and scowled at him. Well look who decided to grow a pair. "I stormed off because, honestly? Being in the presence of you and your family brings back unwanted memories." It was at that moment that Alice entered the room, thank god too. I knew I had hit a sore spot with Edward, due to the 'kicked puppy' expression on his face. I almost felt sorry for him. No Izzy, you locke those feelings away a long time ago and threw away the key.
"Be-Izzy!" Your awake! How are you?" Ha, like she didn't already know. "Your the all seeing pixie so tell me, or how about we get your husband in here, go on, get him to tell you all how I'm feeling, unless I'm actually not providing my feelings on my face loud and clear? Oh, wait, I am." I rolled my eyes and turned. "Can I have a phone please? I need to call Angela, tell her to get Ben to pick me up." I said, sickeningly sweetly. "No." I turned my head to Edward. "Sorry, I think I heard you wrong? Edward Cullen being rude? " He flashed me his signature grin. Oh how I missed th...no Izzy! "I'm dropping you off and Alice is staying to help you, you have no say in this as it is the doctors orders." I frowned knowing I was defeated. Before I could protest II was lifted and within a few seconds, in the car, strapped in.
For the whole car journey I was silent, not wanting to speak, savouring in the obvious discomfort Edward was feeling. As we pulled up, Edward turned to me. "I have to know. Do...Do you still...Love me?" I bit my lip. I proceeded to shake my head. Edward nodded stiffly "I see." With that I was in my house alone, waiting for Alice. One thought flashed in my mind as I sat there.
If I hated him so, then why did I feel like I was lying to the world so much.
