When Percy loses everything and everyone tying him to mortality he decides that if he can save even one hero then becoming a God is worth it. Even if becoming a God means an eternity separated from everyone he has lost, and having to learn to love again.

Winning two wars and saving the world would normally ensure a life of peace and happiness. Unluckily, demigods' lives are never truly normal and the conclusion of the Giant War left the son of Poseidon with far too much time to think. Isolation is maddening enough but add a heavy conscience, and the results could kill, though friends and a moon goddess may save him yet.

Still trapped with each other and already on the next book, some looking forward to the story more than others when it features; Yet another magic bull named that doesn't try to kill, more evil teachers, an automaton that needs a bath, and Percy refusing to take dead for an answer.
