"A Curious Thing"

This guided me

more surely than the light of noon

to where he was awaiting me

- him I knew so well -

there in a place where no one appeared.

They were in the hallway of Granny's and making out.

A much needed respite from all the chaos and anxiety.

Yet once again Regina had to ask, "What do you see in me?"

"I believe the same thing you see in me. A second chance." He grinned cheekily, "And you're quite a good kisser."

She raised eye eyebrows flirtatiously, "Just wait until I get my heart back!"

"What is that like? I mean, can you…"

"Feel? Yes, I can. Just not fully. It's difficult to explain."

"Then don't." He took her hand and pressed it to his heart, "Use mine for the both of us."

Oh my gods. Could he get any more perfect? She leaned in for some more kisses only to be interrupted by a rather embarrassed Henry who quickly passed by.

"You alright?" Robin asked, concerned.

"No, I'm not alright. But they're waiting for me. I should go."

Regina turned away and walked towards the door.

"Wait!" Robin called out, and caught her up in several more kisses. "Good luck!"

Regina smiled and kissed him again before she went inside.

Much later she, Robin, and Henry were leaving the boat house, Regina overjoyed. Her Henry was back. They were all back and together.

"Dinner at Granny's?" Regina asked Henry.

Henry looked past her, to Emma. "Mom… I need to know about my dad."

Regina nodded, kissing him on his forehead, and watched as he walked to Emma.

Robin took her hand, "Let's get Roland."

"Yes."

"And then we need to talk about that missing year," he said, his eyes earnest.

Talking.

But then, so needed.

They had a lot to talk about.

A lot.
