The visit

It was the 5th years free period and in the Gryffindor common room the Golden Trio were making use of it, sat round the fire playing exploding snap.
"Will you please think about it Harry." Hermione begged, "We're not learning anything about defence with Umbridge teaching us. And the worst thing is that we're all going to fail our exams!"
"I said no Hermione, I've just got too much to worry about at the moment. And besides your not going to fail, your you." Harry argued back while trying to concentrate on the game at hand.
"I'm going to take that as a compliment, so thank you. But come on Harry, it's just going to be a small club, about t-"
"Look Harry," Ron interrupted, "No-ones better at DADA then you, just think about it, please."
Harry sighed, "Fine, I'll think about it, but I'm not making any promises."
"Yes!" Ron and Hermione both exchanged high fives and Harry let out another sigh at the sight of them.

But then something else caught his eye, the fire that he was sitting opposite was slowly darkening in colour.
"Hey guys look at this," Harry turned to Ron and Hermione and pointed to the burning fire now turning from red to what looked like grey.
"Is it... changing colour?" Ron questioned, leaning closer.
"Floo travel maybe?" Harry suggested, however his suggestion was quickly shot down.
"Nonsense," Hermione replied, ignoring the look Harry sent her, "Floo travel is always green. Unless it's dark magic. Voldemort maybe?"
Harry sent another glance towards the fire which was now a dark black. "I hope not."
It wasn't long before it was apparent that what ever was happening to the fire was finishing soon, when the flames reached as dark as they would go a bright light emitted from the depths of
the fire place, nearly blinding Harry who was forced to cover his eyes. When the light stopped Harry reopened his eyes just in time to see two figures roll out of the fire place.

The two people heaved themselves up from the bundle that they had landed in and Harry got a better look at them. They were both men, about twentyish. The slightly taller one had mousey blonde hair, the right side of which was held back by a golden cross hair pin, he also had a small curl on the side of his head, which on closer inspection somehow was not attached to his head. He was wearing what looked to be like a purple-blue sailor suit, with a matching hat. The man had a stodic look in his face and his emotionless sapphire eyes seemed to be scanning the room.
The other man however looked the complete opposite. He had strawberry blonde hair that was slightly messy, (though not as much as Harry's) and perched on top was a hat that was clearly staying on his head by defining physics. He wore an extremely old fashioned trench coat and his unusual ruby eyes had a mischievous look that matched the grin on his face.

Harry's thoughts were interrupted when they started talking. "I don't see Arthur anywhere." Like his face the blondes voice was also emotionless.
"Okay, so my calculations may be slightly off, but I'm sure he's around here somewhere." The brown-haired seemed to miss the look the blonde gave him and instead turned to the Golden Trio who were sat still with the shock, that two (clearly foreign, by the sound of their accents,) men had just tumbled from the fireplace.
"Excuse me," The one in the trench coat turned to them. "Do you happen to know where Arthur Kirkland is? He should work here, unless we accidentally time travelled again." The last part was mumbled but Harry still caught it.
'Who the hell are these guys." By the looks of it Hermione was thinking the same thing.
"We can't just show you to Professor Kirkland..."
The brown-haired nudged the blonde, "I told you my calculations were right."
"...you could be working for Voldemort." Hermione finished not liking being interrupted.
The response clearly wasn't what Hermione expected when the ruby eyed man burst out laughing.
"You think we work for Voldemort!... That's hilarious." He managed to get out between laughs.
The blonde then spoke up. "No. We're friends of Arthur's, I'm Lukas and the idiot over there is Vladimir."
The latter suddenly stopped laughing, "But seriously, do you know where Arthur is?"
"I think he's teaching a class at the moment, but we can show you to him later on." Hermione said, by the looks of it still not trusting the men, especially not the strange looking Vladimir.
"No that's okay, we can go now." Lukas interrupted Harry's train of thought about if they were actually evil, the red-eyed Vladimir in particular.
"Show us the way!" Harry looked closer to the man in question as he spoke, wait, was that a fang!

It was a quiet lesson with the third years, Arthur thought as he watched them draw diagrams of centaurs. His tranquil thinking was then interrupted by a shout.
"ARTHUR!" The man in question shot his gaze towards the top of the hill where a black blur could be seen hurtling towards him. It wasn't long before he was tackled and his back was hitting the floor. Arthur managed to lift his head, just so that he could see a mop of strawberry blonde hair and a familiar bowler hat.
"Vladimir." Arthur managed to mutter after having the air knocked out of him.
"Yes?"
"Get the bloody hell off me!"
It wasn't long before Vladimir was heaved off him and he was greeted with the unemotional face of Lukas.
"Thanks Lukas"

"Are you okay Professor?" Arthur looked towards the voice and found one of his best students Hermione Granger, followed by Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
"Yes I'm fine Miss Granger," Arthur dusted himself off "But I'm not quite sure what you're doing here though." The question was directed at the Golden Trio, but he did wonder why the remaining members of the Magic Trio were here too.
"Your friends," Ron put a lot of emphasise on the word 'friends', "came through the fireplace. They said they wanted to see you, so here we are."
Arthur then aimed a look at the Magic Duo that clearly said they should start talking too.
"What? We said we were coming to see you." Vladimir shot a sulky glare back. "Don't look at me like that."
Arthur then turned to the Golden Trio, "You three can go back to class, I'll deal with these two."
"Hey!" Vladimir waved his arms around, "I am here you know, I'm not a kid!" The angry look that both Arthur and Lukas sent to Vladimir made the children's mind up as they started making their way back to the castle.

"Well that was certainly interesting." Harry tried to start conversation between the three.
"Yes, it's just occurred to me that Vladimir and Lukas may be the two men from the Howler that said they were going to visit Professor Kirkland." Hermione pondered.
There was silence before Ron spoke up, "So who thinks that Professor Kirkland is actually crazy?"
"Honestly Ronald." Hermione huffed.
"Come on Hermione," Harry persisted, "Ron may actually have a point."
