Will was in his room, not making a sound, Annabeth was a bit worried by this, she didn't like it when he wasn't making a noise. When he was in there you could usually hear him on the computer or playing music or something but right now. Silence. Absolute silence. Annabeth had looked in his room once or twice and he was on his bed. Having a nap she supposed, Ella mentioned that Will had found out that his curse was fake and so when she saw Will at the doorway in the building she was anticipating a sad Will, a depressed one, especially after the news that Piper died. But instead Will was quiet but polite, not making any comments about anything, when someone asked him something he gave a short but polite answer. It bugged her.

And then there was the quest, and with the whole 'Will's a Darkwood' thing. She didn't know how to react to this, on one hand, Will could be a valuable asset to know what George Darkwood is thinking and Will might know some stuff about the other children of the Darkwood. But yet it felt wrong, it felt like if she did that then it would only be using Will. And he doesn't deserve to be used. Especially with the betrayal he'll have to go through when he finds out his father faked his death then gave him a fake curse.

She didn't really know what to do then but something kept nagging at her mind. It was the conversation with Ella, she said Will was her adopted brother, meaning one of them wasn't related to George Darkwood, must be Ella though, she was must be the child of a god not a goddess. But if they were not related then how on Earth did they look so alike, it cannot be a coincidence, though she hasn't seen her real body, Hazel has described her as to have the same looks as Will. So how can that be? Adopted siblings but look like each other? It didn't make sense.

She needed answers, Ella just left her confused. So to answer them she must talk to Ella again, but that would mean hazel would have to be possessed again and everyone around her right now are all sick of possession. But something told Annabeth if they were to get through this quest then they would have to accept being possessed. Annabeth didn't know how she would make Ella possess Hazel but maybe Hazel could make her appear? She sighed and leaned back on her chair and Percy walked in smiling at her and she smiled back and he leant down to press his lips against hers and she happily kissed back and the scent of the ocean hit her like a brick but she loved the smell.

"You ok?" Percy asked though it was obvious that no one was 'ok' one of her best friends just died and she didn't know what to do about her brother but she nodded anyway, there was no point making Percy worry about her.

"I'm fine; it's not me you should worry about." Annabeth said dismissively but Percy looked at her concerned and sat down next to her and she gazed into his sea green eyes and she smiled trying to boost the lie she just said and he nodded smiling back, falling for the act. She picked up the glass of water in front of her and took a sip.

"I'll always worry about you." He said smoothly and she choked on the water and burst out laughing. She didn't know why she found this so funny but she just wanted to laugh at something, and that sentence was so unlike Percy it was funny. He looked at her surprised but gave a small smile.

"Percy I need to ask a favour." She said after the laughter passed and he tilted his head at her, willing her to go on. "I need to talk to Ella. So that would mean asking Hazel to be…well possessed, but I don't want Will knowing that I am talking to her so it is alright if you take all the guys here, including Will, out? Like to a sports game or something?"

He was clearly taken aback by this request but nodded anyway and Annabeth gave a small smile at him and he stood up kissing her on the cheek. "Don't mess up, ok? Cause spending a day with Will at a sports game isn't high on my list of things to do."

"He wouldn't be that bad now without the curse." Annabeth pointed out and he shrugged making a face and she could still tell he didn't trust Will even after finding out why he was always so horrible. But she couldn't blame him; Will is the son of George Darkwood. And they only have a dead girl's word that he doesn't know anything.

Percy walked out of the room and a second later she could hear the five guys walking down the stairs, although Percy was dragging Jason and Will was just looking bored. Annabeth sighed; she would have thought Will would be annoyed or irritated. If Percy sprung something on him like this when he still had the curse, he would have made a rude remark by now, but he doesn't look like he has said a word. And by the look on Percy's face he seemed to be a bit taken back by Will's silence.

When the five left the house Hazel wondered into the room but didn't smile, not once, even when she nodded at Annabeth and Annabeth glanced away feeling a bit awkward by the sullen silence of her friend, Hazel usually was a talkative person, not one to stay so quiet.

"Just us now," Annabeth started off and Hazel nodded absentmindedly, Annabeth took the chance to lean forward ready to ask. "Say Hazel, do you think…well…do you think you could make Ella come back again? Like let her possess you?"
