Thank you for the lovely reviews on the last chapter. I have decided that i will continue writing this story, but for now I'm going to have a little break from it for a while so i can work on my other fics and think of some good storylines for this one! Therefore I'm leaving you with a nice fluffy chapter, hope you like it :) xx
"Well this is something nice to return home to" Nick contentley sighed as he entered his front room upon returning home from work; taking in the wonderful sight before him - his whole family snuggled up together on the sofa.
"Hi" Zoe sleepily whispered, looking up as she watched Nick enter the room. She lay on the sofa; Oscar resting fast asleep on her chest, both girls contentley sleeping in her arms either side and Ollie lying against her thigh, as they all slept peacefully with their mum.
"you've certainly tired them out" He smiled, keeping his voice hushed as he knelt down beside the sofa "Did you have a good day?" He asked. Today was Zoe's day off; she had decided that she was going to spend her Saturday with all 4 children; some quality time alone while Nick worked a double shift in the ED.
"yeah it as lovely" Zoe smiled, her head nodding slighty as her chin rested above Oscars head "they were all good as gold" She proudly added "We missed you though" She quitely whispered.
Nick smiled, he had never felt so proud as he looked down at his beautiful children and wife "I missed you too" He mouthed "next time we will all go together" He promised.
"How was your day anyway?" Zoe asked, running her hand soothingly across baby oscars back as she felt him stir slightly against her "You need to stop wearing your good shirts to work" She added, catching sight of his blood stained white shirt.
"oh you know, same old" Nick replied "I best go and take it off then hadn't i" He raised a teasing eyebrow at her "How about we put our beautiul children to bed and I can get my time with you" He suggested, smiling as her eyes lit up.
"Sounds perfect" Zoe whispered with a smile "Will you carry Phoebe to bed for me?" She asked, turning to their sleeping daughter who was preventing Zoe from climbing off the sofa.
"Course" Nick nodded, carefully lifting Phoebe from the sofa, not wanting to wake her as he lifted her over his shoulder and carried her up to bed. He soon returned a moment later to carry Oliver, followed by Maisie upstairs to each of their beds as they both still remained soundly asleep; unaware of what was happening around them.
He came out of Maisies bedroom, closing the door quitely as he was greeted at the top of the stairs by Zoe carrying their baby over her shoulder "last one and I'm all yours Mr Jordan" She grinned, padding off into Oscars nursery, closely followed behind by Nick.
"you are amazing" Nick sighed into her hair as he wrapped his arms around the back of her waist as they both peered into the cot.
"and whys that?" Zoe grinned, turning around in his arms as she wrapped her hands around his neck "I've not done anything yet" She teased, toying with the hair that she found at the back of his neck.
"for just being you" He softly replied, running his hand around to the bottom of her back "and for being a perfect mum and wife" He added.
Zoe couldn't help but smile widely "you are going soft in your old age" She chuckled "and maybe if I'm that amazing" She grinned "I should show you just how amazing I can be" She teased, her hand gripping his tie firmly as she pulled him down for a kiss, tugging on his tie as she led him through to their bedroom; she was in full control of the moment as she pushed him down onto the bed.

Zoe sighed as they were soon interrupted by Oscars screaming cries "and apparently time alone is too much to ask for" She chuckled, rolling off of Nick as she picked up his shirt; wrapping it around her body as it just about covered her up.
"Don't worry, I'll stay up all night if I have too" Nick winked, propping himself on his elbow as he watched her pad across their room; looking as beautiful as ever.
"I'll be 5 minutes" She promised, blowing him a kiss as she slid out of the doorway to attend to their crying son.
10 minutes later she returned, sighing as she peered back into their bedroom. Apparently 10 minutes was too long and Nick had already drifted off to sleep himself "Oh Nick" She sighed, chuckling lightly to herself as she rolled back the covers, climbing in beside him. She wrapped an arm around his waist as she cuddled closer into his side for warmth and protection. Her right leg hooking over his as she rested her head against his chest. Enjoying the relaxing and soothing sound of his heartbeat as his chest Rose up and down. "I love you Nick" She whispered, placing kisses across his bare chest. He responded to the familiar feeling of her touch as he wrapped an arm around her; remaining soundly asleep as Zoes eyes also began to close with tiredness, as she fell asleep contentley in her husbands loving arms.
