Percy had leapt at Tristan, none of us could have guessed that Annabeth would have stopped him, personally I had every intention of just letting Percy stab Tristan to death, it's what he deserved. But I guess, as he's Piper's father, he is void of being mauled to death by us...oh well...maybe we could give him back to the Darkwood's as a peace offering. 'Hey I know you hate us and all, but here's your deserter, you can keep him if you don't attack us.' Yeah, I doubt that would work. Too bad, I would like to see him killed by George Darkwood. Maybe hanged or a bullet through the temple. Or mauled to death by a pack of lions. I ran through ideas through my head, ticking and crossing off each idea, whether it be painful and practical-I think being run over by a pack of rhinos will be slightly difficult.

"Let me go, Annabeth!" Percy snarled trying to shake her off. "He deserves to die! You saw what he did to Will! I don't care if he's Piper's dad, he's a coldhearted bastard! A darkwood run away." he ranted jabbing his finger at Tristan with each accusation and Tristan looked away, one might think in shame, but no, I felt that it was more out of anger. He cannot be angry at us, could he? What have we done, it is not in coldblood..

"No...he deserves a trial at least." Annabeth said, defending him and Percy snorted pushing her off, but made no move towards Tristan, the others seemed hesitant in stepping in, not wanting to be on either side of this fight, whilst I, though I was on Percy's side, knew I wouldn't hold back if I got my hands on Tristan.

"Like with Fred? Tell me, what happened with him, Annabeth?" Percy shot back, looking furious. "He nearly killed you, and you want to do the same thing with this monster?"

Annabeth flinched at Percy's words and that was when I stepped in, putting my hands on Percy's shoulder-the first time I've touched him without being mean. "We put it to vote, either we kill him now...or we leave his fate up to the Olympians."

Percy looked at me with shielded eyes and I shrugged effortlessly, stepping back. Percy sighed running a hand through his messy black hair, his sea green eyes running over everyone in the circle. "Fine. We vote...all in favour of killing him now?"

It was only me and Percy who put our hands up for this, our eyes met in defeat and we sighed in unison. "Majority win, we keep his fate for the Olympians to decide. Unfortunately.' I added on, my tone bitter.

Hazel sighed as they sat in seperate rooms in the apartment, she was with Will, not talking, of course, but Will was casually playing the piano, as they were in the music room, the music was calming, and though Hazel had been in a crap mood lately, she felt at peace with the light music tainting her thoughts.

She was casually scrawling in a notebook, not really caring what she was drawing at all. What stopped her from drawing was seeing the feint outline of a ghost, it didn't take her long to identify Ella, who was watching Will intently, Hazel was reminded yet again of how much similarities there were when it came to her and Annabeth, they had the same look when they were looking at Will. Back, when she had first met Will, she had wondered how he could have been so lucky to have Annabeth love him like that, how it had seem so effortless for him to gain that love-though now she realizes that he prayed that he never did have her-but after spending so much time with him, she realizes that there is a certain pull that Will has, a certain vulnerability that made people just go straight towards him, want to be around him. A certain charisma.

And it was true, Hazel, through all the hate and bitterness that Will showed, wanted to be around him, no matter when or what it was. She just felt so drawn to him, that she barely noticed it. Not like Piper's though, her tie to Will was a...unnatural one, one that might have been placed on by the Darkwood's, as it is known now that Piper had a certain connection to the cult.

Ella finally saw Hazel looking at her and she pressed a finger to her lips. "Cedric cannot see me, only you can, since you're a child of Pluto, well actually...I think everyone other than him could see me if I chose to appear...but since I knew him when I was alive, I am unable to appear to him, I know for a fact, actually, that Piper is also in the room, but neither of you will be able to talk to her, unless you summon her of course, but something tells me even then you won't be able to." She explained and Hazel felt her insides freeze as the realisation that Piper was in this room with them, and Ella noticed this and smiled gently. "Yes, it was a rare time that Piper had left your presense, she doesn't blame Cedric, by the way, in fact, she misses him more than anyone."

"I wish I could talk to her." She blurted out and Will glanced up, raising an eyebrow at her in confusion and she blushed shaking her head. "Don't worry...it was nothing." She mumbled and he shrugged after a second and turned back to the piano.

"I know, she wishes that as well, but it is impossible, if I had known you in my mortal years, then you would never have been able to see me." She said with a shrug. "But it doesn't matter, does it?" she said smiling sadly. "The one person I want to talk to cannot see me." she said whistfully.

She leaned forward, her hand gently resting against Will's cheeck but he took no notice of this, "My Cedric, my poor, poor Cedric, you deserved none of this." She whispered and Hazel finally understood what being a ghost like Ella must feel like, to see their loved one but they cannot see them.

"You kept my promise." She said smiling over at Hazel. "You saved him from himself." She said nodding. "I didn't think you could do it, but you did, I haven't seen him this happy for many, many years." She said turning back to look at him. Hazel felt uncomfortable as if she was intruding in on a private moment, but Will couldn't see her at all. "But I wish you luck with the Darkwood's. They won't be an easy army to defeat."

She was going to continue when the music stopped suddenly and both Ella and Hazel turned to look at Will who had his eyes straight onto Ella, she opened her mouth, mouthing impossible and he stood up, easily towering over her. "Ella?"
