"You all packed?" Nick asked as he wandered into their bedroom. They had both just finished a long week in the ED and had taken the kids to Zoe's mums for the weekend.
"Nearly" Zoe nodded, still sat on the edge of their bed in her dressing gown with her overnight bag sat beside her, barely an item in it. "What will I need?" She asked, getting up and searching through her wardrobe, "I only own heels and dresses" She chuckled to herself.
"I doubt you'll be needing any clothes" He let out a dirty chuckle as he slid onto the side of the bed, watching as she strutted around the room, hands on hips.
"Are you honestly not planning to take me out of the hotel at any point?" She laughed, a smile playing on her lips as she turned around to await his answer.
"definitely not" He grinned, hooping a single finger into the hoop at the back of her dressing gown as he pulled her back towards him, spinning her around as she stood between his legs. "No in all seriousness, I am taking you out somewhere nice" He added, his hands moving down to rest on her bum.
"Full of surprises aren't you" She smiled, looping her arms around his shoulders as she leant down to place a kiss on his lips.
"Nick I need to get ready" Zoe giggled as he began to untie her dressing gown, allowing it to fall to the floor as he traced his kisses down her body. "You will just have wait until we get to the hotel" She removed his hands from her, pulling away slightly as she kissed him.
"you're such a tease" Nick groaned as he watched her bend over before him to pick up her dressing gown.
"im not a tease" She looked back at him over her shoulder, flashing him a wink. "I promise I'll give you my full attention later, but right now I need to get ready"

"Wow, Nick, it's gorgeous" Zoe gushed as he opened the door to their hotel room, "It must have cost you a fortune"
He closed the door as he entered behind her, carefully placing their bags on the floor, before wandering over to where she stood by the window admiring the magnificent view. "Only the best for you" He kissed the back of her neck, pulling her back towards him as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"You spoil me too much" She turned around his arms, throwing her arms about his neck as she pulled him into a passionate kiss, "thank you for everything" She mumbled against his lips as she continued to kiss him. Slowly backing him across the room, not removing her lips from his for a moment, she pushed him back onto the four poster bed, "I love you" She softly added.
"I love you too" Nick replied, his hands running through her hair as he returned her kisses with just as much need and want.
"ive got a surprise for you too" She grinned, jumping off of him as she trailed off to the bathroom, kicking off her Jimmy Choo's as she went. Nick sat up from where he lay watching her every move as she sauntered off "Zoe" He groaned in frustration as she shut the door behind her.
5 minutes later and she finally emerged, "what do you think?" She grinned, propping against the post of the bed as she pointed down at her outfit, allowing her husband to take in every single detail of the small bit of lace that she wore.
"come here you" he waggled his finger, his breath caught as she tried to speak, still a little taken back as she edged closer to him, straddling herself over his body as he lay back down. "we need to make the most of our child free weekend" He murmured, running his hands across her thighs as he kissed her once again, taking her to the place that only he could.
