Summary: Chip wants answers but he got them…sort of. Answers and more questions…the road is never ending and frustration.

Disclaimer: Don't own them.

There has been talking in the woods. It said that it is a new ally of the Master. That is the last thing we needed. It doesn't help that Calindor has been acting…odd lately. I don't know if it has to do with the appearance of the other Mystics or not. It could be because the lives lost. He hasn't been acting distant or strange. It is hard to explain. What is the term that silly cat uses?

The knobs being switch? Gears loose?

I have no idea what it is called what that silly cat was talking about. But the point is that he seemed to develop an edge…perhaps darkness to him that I don't quite understand. I am not sure how I missed it either. I have asked Daggeron about his behavior. He said that he has sense something off as well but like me, can't place it.

I thought that he being his teacher would give me more insight into his recent behavior.

Of course, me being his student should have gave me more insight. In end, I have only come up with nothing.-Catalina

"So, Catalina was Calindor's student?" Chip said as he struggled to remain balanced on the log. He didn't really understand the point of this test but what did he know….

"Yes, back straight, Chip," Snow Prince snapped at him.

"How does that work by the way? Did you guys come together and decided who get who?" He said as he straightened in his back.

"No, he felt that…she had the spark." Snow Prince said with caution to his voice.

"And you didn't see?"

"I saw it. Catalina is stubborn and driven to the point of extreme. She was a good knight."

"What do you think happened to her?" He said as he tried to keep his balance on the log.

"I think Calindor had something to do with her disappearance. Catalina approached Daggeron about his odd behavior before she disappeared. It put Daggeron on notice but I had wished that we could have caught his betrayal sooner." Snow Prince said with a sigh.

"What was Calindor like?"

"You have met him."

He had to bite his lip as his arms flail around. He tried to balance on the log but once, he was balanced again.

"No…I think that we met Imperious."

The Snow Prince tilted his head slightly. It looked to him that he was lost in thought.

"You are probably correct. Calindor, before he changed sides, was a jokester of sorts. He always had a joke on his tongue and always seemed to be the center of attention. I was surprised that he took Catalina as his student."

"Why?"

"Calindor tried to "hit" on her as you would call it. She hit him with her staff," The Snow Prince chuckled softly.

"What do you think made him changed his mind?"

"Catalina pursed him since neither Daggeron or Leanbow were willing to take her on. It was interesting to watch. Calindor really didn't stand a chance."

"How did Diane and Zaria came into this?"

Snow Prince stared at him for a moment. Well…that must have gotten his attention.

"How do you know about them?" Snow Prince asked.

"Catalina wrote about them in her journal. I found it in the library." He said.

"I have searched that library, Chip. I never found her journal anywhere."

"Maybe, you didn't look good enough?" He said.

"Maybe…Enough talk. Walk," Snow Prince snapped.

He didn't understand why Snow Prince was so upset about the journal thing. Why is everyone avoiding the subject? He wanted to ask another question but he had the feeling that he won't get any answers.

Like always…a few answers and even more questions.
