Lucy didn't mean to hurt Natsu. She never even did anything, at least... not that she remembers. When the Celestial Mage is driven from her home, she claims her birthright in order to save the world from itself. The only way to do this... destroy the world and build it anew. Sometimes, one must revel in the darkness to truly see the light.

20. Chapter 21

Why?
Lucy POV

I burst into the hotel room, sweating and panting from magic overuse, the burst of power I had earlier was long gone. The minute I walked in Selene and Sting pounced on me asking question after question in rapid succession. Though when they caught sight of my red nose, puffy bloodshot eyes, tear stained cheeks and mussed up hair they both asked the same question at the same time.

"What happened?" the dam I had built on the run over here burst, spilling forth the gallons of tears I had held in since the hospital not wanting to look weak. They looked at me like I was a copy that had come from Edolas. I HATED crying in public even the old Lucy did, I hated crying in public and I always have. Selene came up to me after she had jumped back and hugged me and let me bend down and cry onto her significantly lower shoulder. After a moment Sting soon joined in on our hug.

"Now. What actually happened? Where is Rouge?" Sting asked when I had calmed down "All I remember was seeing Rouge spying on Natsu coming into your room, he was going to deal with him, but when I said you could handle it yourself and he would probably just get you both hurt and the hotel totalled, he shut up. When he saw you smile at Natsu he literally grunted, he thought you were going back to Fairy Tail. When you walked out of the hotel crying I told him that he would just make it worse and he stormed off to some bar on the high street." Sting explained

"Well. After I left my room, I walked to and climbed a mountain and sat in a ledge just under the mountain (A/N can't be bothered explaining what happened)...and then I came back here." I finished

Selene and Sting looked at each other and then back at me.

"Tempest" Selene started gently "I think the person that assaulted Rouge was..." She paused glancing at Sting's concerned face "I think...the person was...Natsu Dragneel."

"Hahahahahahaha. Did you just say Natsu Dragneel? Nobody is that stupid, even him there is no way he would have done that! He wants me to forgive not kill him" I laughed at my underlying threat. I shook my head not wanting to believe what they were saying. It's not that I was defending him, not at all. It's just that I wanted to stay out of my "straight jacket" if I could.

"Look Tempest you said you saw pink on the "head" of the person at the top of the mountain, the only person who has a motive and fits the description would be Natsu!" Selene intoned

"Fine. If this was him which I doubt it was he will just have to own up to it. And the minute he does he will have to pay for his crimes." I said giving into my emotions at the end. I could tell Selene was surprised.

"What?" I asked curiously

"Your seals...on your emotions...they're broken!" Selene shouted

"Yay. I have my emotions back! Because that makes such a difference even though Rouge is in hospital possibly dead. That reminds me I have to send someone over to the hospital to watch him, I'd do it myself but my magic was killing innocents." I said

"On it." Dobengal said from behind us (A/N I heard from someone he was dead, but just in case he is, In my FanFiction he isn't dead and still in Sabertooth) I growled. Instantly he was out the door like a bullet.

"3...2...1..." I counted. He burst back in

"Forgive me. I do not know which hospital, Rouge-sama is currently residing in. Would one of you please be so kind as to bestow upon me the knowledge which I seek?"

"Sure" Sting said glancing at me

"Honeysuckle. On the corner of 34th and 35th" I said with a sigh "show the receptionist your Sabertooth mark and say you are with the Tempest Dawn."

"Sting, Selene I'm going to bed."

"I'm sorry Tempest...but we have to do this." I cried out in pain as I saw Selene shoot a paralysis spore at me and Sting hit me with a stigma on my arm, I could beat them both but I didn't struggle. I knew what was coming when I saw Selene wheel my straight jacket out of the hall closet.

I sighed as I was wheeled into the stadium. People looked at me strangely, the various straps were riding up my dress and people got nosebleeds and wolf whistled. Sting king hit every one of them, I smiled at him gratefully. I was really killing myself on the inside, due to my stupidity I hadn't woken up in time to visit Rouge before the next day of the games. I will need to have an extra long visit to see what's going on with him later today.

Hello, good morning and welcome to the second(?) day of the grand magic games. Today will be more of a fun competition, and as such we will begin the day with a modelling competition. Competitors can be male though we strongly advise you against it because the winner of this event will be judged by the audiences vote. You 30 minutes to prepare.

"I'll go!" Orga cheered.

"Okay, since there are only two girls on our team it's between them." Rufus said making Orga who was already in his swim trunks go off into his emo corner to grow mushrooms. I looked at Selene and she looked at me.

"We could both do it." Selene offered "last time these two girls Mira-Jane Strauss and Jenny Realight both had a comp like this one, and there were multiple categories. You and I" she pointed at me "could both participate and just switch between the two of us in every category."

"Yep that'll work!" I exclaimed. The rest of the guild members who had come with us knew about my broken seals already. "Selene let's go get ready, do you want to go first or shall I?"

"You can if you like!" And so Selene and I both went back to the lodgings to store all of our things in my Requip Room. And rushed back to the stadium just as Mato announced the beginning of the event.

Alright I hope you are all ready because we will first start with...the swimsuit competition!

The crowd roared and cheered.

In this event we will have MiraJane from Fairy Tail, Rocker from Quattro Cerberus, Arania Webb from Mermaid Heel, Jenny from Blue Pegasus, Sherry from Lamia Scale, Nullpudding from Raven Tail...and last but certainly not least we have Lucy eh..Tempest from Sabertooth. First up we have Rocker...

He walked up and down the catwalk stopping halfway to do some ridiculous pose and yell wild and repeat at the front of the runway and at at the end as well.

The crowds score is 13 out of a possible 100.
Now Jenny Realight! Score...72 Probably cos of that slip at the end there.
Arania Webb...a score 59 those spider webs aren't exactly attractive.
Nullpudding...2 don't know what he was trying to do with that chin of his.
Sherry...73 good job managing to beat Jenny that is an achievement!

Now for the one you have all been waiting for... MiraJane! A score of...96! Fantastic it'll take a lot from Tempest to beat that!

I requiped into my incredibly skimpy black and white two piece swimsuit and made my way down the catwalk, making sure to keep my newly plumped and lipstick-ed lips slightly parted and my hips swaying. When I got to the bottom I tripped.

"Sh*t!" I exclaimed, but deciding to make the most of it, I landed on spread eagled on my back, with one arm propping me up and the with the elbow crooked resting behind my head. "Like this?" I breathed. I swear the arena was covered in blood, but I wasn't done yet. "How about this?" I said kneeling on the ground and pushing up my breasts. I stared at the audience through half-lidded eyes.

100 points for Tempest! Mato's almost nonexistent nose was spilling pumpkin juice. You win the event and gain 5 points for Sabertooth! That will go to your ending total whoever has the most points at the end of the day, will earn real points for the guild! Now continuing with the swimsuit theme we will have, school swimsuits!

Back at the lodgings Selene was ready and waiting, being only 15 she was perfect for this.

"Selene you're going to have to pull out all stops for this one all right. You're lucky they supply the swimsuits because sadly I do not posses that kind of outfit." She nodded the affirmative and ran out into the arena.

In this event we will have Lisanna from Fairy Tail, Semmes from Quattro Cerberus, Beth from Mermaid Heel, still Jenny from Blue Pegasus, Chelia from Lamia Scale, Flare from Raven Tail...and last but certainly not least we have Selene from Sabertooth. First up we have Semmes...

It looks like Flare is the one to beat can Selene do it?!

Selene walked out there I saw her pull something out of her pocket and put it on, we have this in the bag! When she got to the catwalk I got a close look at her face, she had bright orange large round glasses upon her face, and a bandaid plastered onto her nose, she even realistically drew some freckles onto her clear porcelain skin, the Sabertooth mark on left calf took full prominence. Her wavy dark chestnut waist length hair was put up in two pigtails with her long side fringe hanging in front of her face.

Sabertooth never ceases to amaze...92! Fantastic Sabertooth wins again! Now we have Battle Gear! 10 minutes to get ready for this one.

I ran up to Selene and immediately congratulated her on the win, we then spent the next 8 minutes debating with the rest the team on which armour I should wear. We eventually decided on other than Black Death, as it was the flashiest looking one and it had the most theatrical looking power.

In this event we will have Erza from Fairy Tail, Jäger from Quattro Cerberus, Kagura from Mermaid Heel, another Jenny from Blue Pegasus, Lyon from Lamia Scale, Sasuke Uzumaki from Raven Tail...and last but certainly not least we have Tempest from Sabertooth. First up we have Jäger...

The crowds score is 57 out of a possible 100.
Now Jenny Realight! Score...72.
Kagura... score 5.
Sasuke Uzumaki...37 don't know what you were trying to do there.
Lyon...73 good job. That armour made if ice was a good idea.
Erza Scarlet, the armour Titan the woman who forced Heart Kruez to start producing armour for her. What?! What is she wearing!?

I looked out at the stage and saw an obviously embarrassed Erza ,with cheeks so red that they would have put her scarlet locks to shame, wearing her seduction Armour! She didn't know about the rule and was going to play on the side of the audiences perverted tendencies.

Oh and I forgot to mention this but, since we need this event to be judged logically we are having this one voted on purely by the judges. Sorry!

Erza Scarlet with a score of...16 I think what got her those points, was the lethally sharp sword of hers.

Okay it looks like Jenny Realight is the one to beat! Can Tempest do it!?

Alright it's now or never. I walked out onto the stage and waited, the audience immediately started laughing their butts off. I heard someone yell incredibly loudly that I didn't even make any effort to look battle ready.

"REQUIP: BLACK DEATH ARMOUR!" I shouted shocking anybody who had turned away to talk. It too about 7 seconds for me to do it, pushing myself and my magic so as to go faster. When I was done I looked straight at the judges and without missing a beat I whipped out the plant Selene had given me and touched it with my sword. It instantly crumbled to dust. "My sword saps magic, not enough to kill a wizard or a regular person for that matter but the strike itself should do that."

Wowp! That's amazing and surprisingly cool! The judges give it...92! Sabertooth is on a roll!

"Can I go?" I asked nervously. I knew that fairy tail would probably put in Erza again and knowing her she will bring her A-Game.

"Sure." Sting said knowing full well how nervous I was. I slowly made my way down to the arena, not feeling as confident as I should have I remembered Rouge lying half dead in hospital and decided that Fairy Tail needed to pay for what they did. No matter how much they hate me there was no way I was just gonna lay down and take it.
