Disclaimer: Don't own them.

-The Terrors have swept the lands.

But what drove me to insanity was how? How do the Terrors know that they were there? Every move that they made and the Terrors seemed to be right there. It is frustrating and has brought whispers into our ranks.

There is a traitor.

I have no doubt who it is. But confronting him with be…difficult. We have much to worry about. Leanbow's plan to seal the Master would be effected if we moved too soon. I am worried about the plan and I know some of the others feel the same way. There are just too many things that can go wrong.

We don't have much of a choice.

Not anymore-Catalina

"What was Leanbow like before the Master?" Chip asked as he shot at the dummy with his crossbow. His shot hit the dummy right in the head…again.

Catalina stopped for a moment and seemed thoughtful.

He knew that Leanbow was different before the Master. Anyone would have been different after being under the Master's control for so long. Even Vee was a little twitchy after the whole vampire thing for a time. From the times that he had met the man, he seemed distant and cold with everyone expect for Undonna. Nick doesn't help with always complaining about his dad. The only thing he can do is listen because he didn't have that issue.

Sometimes, he wished that he did.

"He was stubborn but had a good heart and courageous. You know that it was his idea to gather the other magicians. He had a way with the ladies. Do you know how he and Undonna met?" She asked.

"No, what happened?" He asked eagerly.

"You know the deal. What are the weak points on a body?"

He frowned for a moment. A question for a question was her motto. One thing that was nice about it that he got information.

"Eyes, neck, knees, and stomach if it isn't protected."

"Good. They met at a dance. He asked her for a dance and she turned him down."

"Why?"

"How do you exposure those weaknesses?"

"Over extended themselves. Make them vulnerable to your attacks."

"Well done. Because Undonna knew of his reputation. According to Daggeron, there was wine involved. Leanbow always turned red when I asked.

"You know…Daggeron has gone over this already."

"Then why haven't you used it in battle?"

"Well…Normally, you have to hit hard and fast since you don't know what the weakness of the monster is. Oh, there are explosions involved." He said thoughtfully.

She laughed softly.

"Very true."

"How did you get to Rootcore?"

"I walked. The Master was slowly taking lands. There was little to run but Rootcore at one point. So, how does your method work in battle?" She said as she pointed to the dummy.

He frowned for a moment.

"Sometimes, it worked but other times, the monster is too strong and it just deflected off especially the Terrors. Hey, where did they come from?"

"We believe that they were connected to the Master in some way. It looked liked that we were right. I don't know if that would have changed the outcome. Why do you think that your attacks are deflected?"

He scratched his head.

"They are stronger than me?"

"Of course. There is always going be stronger enemies than you, Chip. Your only thought is take down the enemy now which is never a bad thing. It is a smartest thing to do but magic is a complicated thing. It can grant wishes and desires that normally can't. It based on the belief of the person."

"You're saying that I have to believe in magic? I already do!"

She smiled.

"No…No…You have to believe that your magic is strong and powerful enough to take down the enemy. Of course, there is a million things involved like an opponent's weaknesses and strengths and sometimes, just plain luck."

"So, that is what we are going to be working on?"

She hummed softly as she goes to set up another dummy. Another question popped into his head.

"Catalina…when are you going to tell the others that you are back?"

She paused for a second then turned to him.

"Soon enough," She said.

He frowned. That totally didn't answer his question.
