A/N: Hey guys so I'm really sorry I've been gone… Haha I've gotten so sidetracked. Anyways, just so you know now, I'm not planning on giving up on this story. So no matter how long I'm gone I'll still continue this story! Don't lose hope in me!
Anyways, I don't own any of the characters!
A few days after the break-in at the school, everything seemed back to normal. Feliciana and Ludwig were happier than ever, and everyone else, well, they stuck to their own lives. Classes had gotten harder throughout the next few months, much to everyone's dismay. A lot of students were seeking extra help through the month of October, especially Amelia Jones.
When Amelia took note that she was failing almost every class, she unwillingly asked Arthur to help her out. He seemed to know what he was doing, after all. So when she approached him asking for help, he noticed her humiliated expression and agreed. Not only because he was simply helping a friend out, but also because in the back of his mind he was thinking of how cute she looked begging for him to help her. Soon after that thought had passed, he shoved it away.
Anyways, the two had made a "study date" on the upcoming Saturday at the library. On the inside, Arthur was seriously beginning to get angry at himself for not making up his mind if he liked Amelia or not. He didn't mind having a crush on her, she was a super-hot girl (not to mention she had huge breasts, and Arthur would admit he did not mind them), after all. He was a hormone-corrupted teenage boy. Could you really blame him for having a little crush?
When Saturday arrived, Arthur made sure he splashed on just a small bit of cologne. Little to Arthur's knowledge, Amelia made sure she looked presentable as well. Half the reason she asked Arthur to help her study was because she liked him, a lot. She wasn't playing the dumb card, nor was she really stuck on her schoolwork. She was mostly failing because she was lazy. But she wanted to spend more time with Arthur, the smoking hot British punk. So what better ways to do so than to plan a study date?
Amelia checked herself in the mirror one last time. She wanted to sort of impress Arthur, so she wore an outfit that was a little provocative. She wore a button down shirt and push-up bra underneath, and a skirt with her signature cowboy boots. Other than the shirt, her outfit was what she wore on a casual day.
She stepped out into the chilly October air and made her way down to the school where she'd meet Arthur in the library. Checking her bag as she walked along the sidewalk, she made sure she had all her books. In less than five minutes, she made it to the school. The doors were unlocked, as always.
'They really should lock the doors. This is how those bastards broke in last time.' Amelia thought.
Upon entering the library, she secretly noticed Arthur sitting at a table, looking over his books. Amelia couldn't help but think how cute he looked, with his nose piercing sort of shining from the sunlight coming through the nearest window, and how his eyes were so focused on his book that it was almost like he was lost in his own world.
Amelia approached him slowly, so she didn't startle him. She gently tapped on his shoulder. "Hey Artie~!" she sang gleefully.
"Oh, hello Amelia," He said, hiding his flushed face within his textbook as much as he could.
"So I brought my math book because that's mostly where I've been having trouble with…" Amelia said, taking out her math textbook.
"Alright, well right now we're on chapter nine, which is Factoring Polynomials,"
"Great… big words I hardly understand…" Arthur chuckled a bit at the comment.
"Alright, well let's start with the easy stuff. To factor 6x + 4x + 10, what do you do?"
"Um… Take two out of each number?"
"Right. So that leaves you with 2(3x + 2x + 5). Now answer me this: is that the correct answer?"
"…Yes,"
"Alright, why?"
"Because… because you can't take anything else out of the numbers in the parenthesis…?"
"Yes, that's right,"
"Yes! I did something right!" Amelia bounced in her seat, cheering herself on. Arthur blushed heavily at the sight.
"Alright, alright," he laughed it off. "Back to work…"
Amelia didn't say anything, though. She hadn't even heard anything he said. She was too busy staring intently at his lips.
'They look really soft…' she pondered.
"Amelia,"
'I wonder if they really are…'
"Amelia…"
'One way to find out…'
"Amelia-!"
The girl had cut him off by crashing her lips against his. Arthur was flustered beyond all hope. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy the surprise, he just didn't see it coming.
Soon after, Amelia pulled away. For the first time in what seemed like forever, the outgoing, obnoxious American actually stuttered. "I- Artie, I… I'm so sorry…"
"No… No… It's totally okay. Um… Amelia, I actually should tell you that I think I love you," he said, blushing heavily.
"Really…? Because… I love you too,"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Arthur blurted out.
"…Yes, I will!" Amelia said happily.
"Then this study date was a success!" Arthur said jokingly.
"Yes, it was," Amelia smiled.
The two shared one last kiss before walking home together.
