Short chapter tonight. Happy reading :)
They had been at pub for several hours now enjoying one another's company. Both were defiantly drunk. Sitting at the bar Ste had head on the bar he was totally wasted. "Err my head is spinning." Jen laughed. "So I can't tempt you for another drink then?" Ste just groaned.
"Can I have cider please?" ordering herself another drink.
Liam had entered the pub scanning the room. Noticing Jen at the bar with Ste.
"Hey, I've been looking everywhere for you?" Liam frowned.
"What's up little bro, did you miss me" pulling at his cheeks.
Don't he have a cute looking face." pushing her hand away.
"Get off will you" chuckled Liam.
"I have some important news to tell you but seeing as now is not the best time to tell you. Seeing as the state you're in now."
"No tell me I want to know. Don't say I have something to tell you then end it there. So spit it out" Jen demanded.
"Well, I'm moving."
"What, why? Shocked by his revelation. She knew Liam wasn't the type of person for sticking around for too long but with everything happened she needed him, more than she would care to admit.
"Well, I've got a job. In Manchester mate is open a club out in town and wants my help to run things. This is exciting stuff for me. I know you'll probably not thrilled with me leaving but you'll be leaving here soon to with Tilly.
Jen took a while to answer she was trying to comprehend what he was telling her. Though the drink was making her head fuzzy.
"Look its brilliant news for you. I'm not gonna lie that I'm not gutted but your right I can't hold you back. You have your own life. Anyway let's gets some drinks in to celebrate.
Liam celebrated with Ste & Jen by this time he was drunk, all of them were in fits of giggles.
Jen was completely out of it. She was swaying across the pub singing and dancing with the McQueen's and Ste.
Jen making her way over to the bar. The place was pretty crowed and was hard to make her way across. She ended up pushing a man over knocking over the drinks over.
"I'm so sorry." The middle age man turned around. Jen turned white like she had seen a ghost or something.
"Mr Evens, I am sorry please let me pay for the drinks.
"No! I think you've done enough damage. Don't you." Wiping away the drink from his clothes.
"I didn't mean to"
"That's all I keep hearing, you didn't mean to? I just wish you stayed away from my Tilly. They should have locked you up. You ruined her future. People are talking about the two of you. Don't that bother you?"
"Let them." Spat back. Feeling a little teary.
"Is that all you can say?" frowned Kevin
"You think I like people talking about us. Both of our lives ruined. Don't you think I'm living with the consequences? I've lost my job, I have no money, my home and my reputation. One thing I have is Tilly she is what keeps me going. I'm not going to let her down again."
"Well, you only have yourself to blame. No one else" Kevin pointing out.
Kevin let out a sigh "Do us all a favour Jen and leave. Nobody wants you here. Yeah Tilly with you but for how long? Because once she's in Uni she will probably find someone else. You remember the days at uni young, carefree and single. She won't want to be tied down to you will she? Plus even if you two did stay together. Where are you going to live? What about job? & money?"
Jen stood there speechless didn't know what to say. Was Kevin right would Tilly get bored? She didn't have a job lined up but what would she do and how long would it take? All these things were going through her mind.
