Thank You lovely readers for your comments. I miss this couple!

Hollyoaks are beginning to ruin the character of Tilly, especially of what I read in the spoilers. I wish they would bring back Jen. They could come up with so many scenarios, of how they met after we saw them on screen. Oh well, good job we have all these brilliant Jelly stories old/new to remember them :)

Jen stood there in a daze, her mind going over what Kevin said to her. She was hurt & upset, she knew that he would never be pleased with his daughter being in relationship with her but she did think they would come round to the idea. She knew it would put a smile on Tilly face if they accepted them. This hurt Tilly that they couldn't accept not like she would show it but Jen knew.

All the people opinion were going through Jens head. All of them thinking they knew what's best. Jen always stood up for what she believed in. didn't believe people should fall in line with everyone else. Everybody was different. She knew what she wanted in life. Since moving to Hollyoaks and being in relationship she had begun to loose what she fought for. Were they right? Everything was becoming to difficult. She needed to get out.

Jen went outside of The Dog for some fresh air. Gripping hold of the bars in front, trying to control her breathing.

5 minutes later Dodger comes out The Dog. "Whoa, some party in there tonight" standing next to Jen. Jen didn't even look at him, she gave a nod to know she was listening.

"Didn't fancy it in there then? I don't blame you" turning towards Jen.

"Hmm" mummed Jen. "I just needed some time to think."

"yeah, I've been doing that a lot lately. Too much in fact." Said Dodger, he too had a lot on his mind with Texas.

Jen didn't answer. She starred looking at the pond.

Noticing she was still in her own little world. " Is helping?" asked Dodger.

Noticing he wasn't getting any response. He bgan to walk away "I'll leave you to it"

"No, wait turning to face dodger. "sorry, I didn't mean to be so rude. I've just got a lot on my plate. You know being talk of the village & before you say it I know I have myself to blame." Letting out a huge sigh.

"It's just sometimes I wish life could be simple."

"Don't we all" walking towards Jen. Leaning his back on the frame. Listening to what Jen needed to vent out.

"I know I don't deserve it but I am really trying to make things better but it doesn't seem people want to listen. I really can't wait to get out of this village. Its so prehistoric, sorry" realising she was slating where he lived.

"None taken. I've contemplated in leaving here as well. The only this thing is keeping me here is family." Smiled Dodger.

"Same I'm only still here because of Tilly. Who knows how long that will last? Her dad saw me in the pub earlier getting drunk making a total fool of myself & finding more reasons why I shouldn't be with his daughter. I beginning to think am I making the right choice? Because I really don't think I am. I used to know I wanted in life. Used to dream big. Now I'm not so sure anymore."

"Well, I'm not always good at handing out advice especially in this state but you should do whatever is right for you. As you only have one life & you might as well live it. Plus relationships aren't all what they cut up to be, they just leave you to heartache." Said Dodger. Walking away from Jen.

Jen woke up mid-afternoon with a thumping headache not surprising as she had been up most of the night going over stuff. Walking out to the kitchen. She notices Liam sprawled out on the sofa. Making herself & Liam and coffee and leaving on the coffee table.

Liam let out a yawn and stretch. "Morning, where did you get to last night. One minute you were there and next you were gone. I bet you went and saw Tilly didn't you?"

"Actually no," pushing Liam to move his legs of the sofa so she could sit. "I just needed some space after the run in with Kevin Tilly's dad."

"When, where" Liam quizzed.

"In the pub. You were probably out of it as always" Yeah, he had a few words to say to me about me & his daughter.

"Well you can't say you're are surprised? I mean I did warn you….

"I know Liam" Jen interrupted. "He got me thinking about the future of me & Tilly. Will there be me & her once she's at uni? Am I holding her back? Paused Jen.

"She's always putting me first & I need to put her first for a change. So I've decided I'm leaving Hollyoaks." Jen trying to keep composure. Though part of her brain was yelling at her.

"Jen, are you serious! Look I know I'm not happy about you two being an item but I don't think this is what you really want? Not convinced that Jen was serious, even though he was happy deep down.

"It is what I want. I was hoping that I could come with you to Manchester. As I had to put up with you when first turned up on my doorstep." Hoping that Liam wouldn't mind.

"Course not, your always welcome. I guess you haven't told her yet?

Jen shaking her head. "I was going to tell here later when we leave." Jen planned that way only because she knew Tilly would put up a fight and she didn't think she was strong enough to resist her.

So whenever you're ready to leave I will tell her. Otherwise I won't be able to do it" Jen feeling emotional.

Liam pulled her in for a hug. He knew she was making a tough decision but maybe a fresh start away from the people they met would be a good thing.
