After Christmas was over, Felicks decided he needed a good way to earn money. He walked the short distance from his house to the closest mall, making sure he wore a hat and jacket to keep himself from getting too chilly from the cold January air.
As he approached the entrance, he checked his phone for the time. Eleven-thirty one, Saturday, January ninth. Sighing to himself, Felicks wished he could be anywhere but where he was. Then, the thought of making money for himself was resurfaced in his mind, and he began walking to find the nearest clothing store. That was his first choice of work.
After walking around the mall trying to find a store that suited his personality, he finally came across the perfect one. Spencer's.
From the looks of it, Felicks could tell it was indeed an inappropriate store. Walking in, he decided it would be the perfect job.
"Hello, can I help you find anything?" A young female clerk asked him.
"No no, I was actually looking to see if you had any job openings," Felicks asked, gaining a sudden burst of confidence.
"Well, I suppose another helper would be good. Sure, come on back and I'll tell you anything you need to know."
"Wait, you mean I already, like, got the job?"
"Well sure, I mean you seem like a nice enough guy, and we could use extra hands!" She replied.
"Okay, awesome! When do I start?" he asked.
"Um… Right now! Here's your nametag, just write your first name on the line! We'll get you a printed one soon," She said, giving him a friendly smile before she gave him his instructions for the day. "For now, just walk around the store and ask customers if they need any help finding anything. If someone asks for something that you don't know the location of, just find another worker. There should be someone else around, too. Good luck!" She said, walking to her spot behind a register.
Meanwhile, a friend of Felicks, Toris, decided to go shopping. Some of his family had visited for the holidays, and he took it upon himself to take his younger cousins shopping.
"Come on, I'll take you two to the mall," he said to his youngest cousins, who were six and eight years old.
He drove them to the mall, and the two walked around for a few hours. The older one of the cousins decided it would be funny to drag Toris through an inappropriate store, which Toris had learned was called Spencer's.
"No!" Toris yelled, trying to stop the twelve year old, while at the same time, trying not to lose the younger one.
"Hey, like, can I help you- Toris?" A familiar voice asked.
Toris turned around. "Felicks?! Wha- no, I don't need any help! My cousin thought it would be funny to drag me and his brother through here! Wait, since when have you been working here…?"
"Since today! I like, just got this job," he said happily.
"Oh, okay, good for you! Well, I should get going now, these two need to get home… It was a mistake taking them out…"
"Oh, aw… I wanted you to stay!"
Toris blushed slightly.
"Haha! Toris has a crush~!" The older cousin cheered.
"I do not! That's it, time to go home! Felicks, I'll visit you after I drop them off. Let's go," he said, pulling his troublemaker cousins out of the store.
After dropping them off, Toris decided to keep his promise, and he went back to see Felicks. On the way there, he thought about what his devil cousin had said.
"Haha! Toris has a crush~!"
Just replaying it in his head made him blush furiously. Sure, he had liked Felicks for quite some time, but he knew Felicks thought of him as a friend, and nothing more.
Pulling up to the mall entrance, he sighed to himself and exited his car. Once Toris approached the store Felicks worked at, he felt a wave of nervousness wash over him. An employee approached him. "Can I help you?" She asked nicely.
"I'm actually looking for someone who works here. Felicks?" he asked.
"Oh yes! He was just hired today! I'll send him over!" She walked away. Toris stood awkwardly while waiting for his friend.
"Hey! You like, came back!" the voice of his friend said.
"Yeah, I did," Toris smiled.
"So, I'm like, off for the day, so we can hang for a bit!"
"Okay, sure!"
The two walked around the mall like best friends.
"Wait, Felicks, you walked here?" Toris asked, after the topic had come up in one of the conversations.
"Yeah, so? It wasn't even at bad! Really!"
"But it's getting late anyway, so I'm going to drive you home," Toris said.
"Fiiiiiine…" said Felicks.
The two got into Toris' car, and before long, the car was parked outside the blonde's home. "Thanks for the ride," Felicks said.
"It was no problem!" Toris reassured him.
Before he opened the car door, Felicks planted a quick kiss on his best friend's cheek. Toris blushed a scarlet red. The blonde looked at him again, and decided that he couldn't get enough of his friend's blush.
"Aw… you look cute when you blush!"
Before Toris could respond, Felicks kissed him again, but on the lips, and for a longer time.
Felicks pulled away, and smiled. "Bye, Toris~!"
Once Toris arrived at his own home, he sighed happily. Entering the house, he was greeted by his nosy twelve year old cousin.
"You looooove him~!"
A/N: So, like, adorable, right? :D
I hope you liked this chapter, and I'm sorry it took so long. I really hope there are some of you out there who are still reading this. XD Also, sorry if any of this is OOC! I've never written any these characters before. And also, Lithuania's cousins are not meant to be any specific countries. :)
Anyways, if you read this, please review! Each one means a TON to me!
Next chapter will be the February Valentine's Day special chapter! Look out for it!
Thanks again! ~A.V.~
