Hi Guys, Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and all enjoying eating plenty of food. Its what it all about. Well for me anyway haha! Here is the next chapter & if I don't update. I want to wish you all Happy New Year 2014! :)
Jen pulled up outside Tilly's house. Turning the engine off. Her hands on the steering wheel bracing herself for what to come, take a deep breath she got out of her car.
(Doorbell rings)
Jen waited impatiently outside. "C'mon Tilly" Jen thought to herself. Ringing the doorbell frantically, she gave up turning away.
The door begins to open slowly. "Oh it's you?" Came a familiar voice.
"Kevin.. Erm I mean Mr Evans... Is Tilly in?" Asked Jen looking up to the front window which was Tilly's bedroom hoping she might be there.
"She's not in." Answered Kevin.
"Right, do you know where she might of gone" hoping he may know.
"No, quite fankly the further away from you the better. You'll no good for her. Tilly will come to her senses soon" Shutting the door on Jen.
Jen expected that from him she wasn't about to change that from him. Realizing that now. That didn't mean it didn't hurt her slightly what he was saying. Jen quickly gets back to her car pulling out her phone and phone starts ringing.
"Jen, you all packed up & ready?" Liam asked who was on the other end of the line.
Yes I am but I need to find Tilly.
I guess that she knows then? Said a blunt Liam.
Yes, she does know but it wasn't the way I planned it. I need to find her I'm not going anywhere until Find her. If only she would pick up her phone and let me explain.
"Well I did warn you. I think its best that you leave with me but I understand why you want to be here for Tilly. I just want to let you know ok the offer still stands.
"Liam thank you for supporting me after everything I really appreciate it.
"That's what your brother is here for."
Jen spent the next hour looking for Tilly with no such luck, she tried the Folly, the park, coffee shop & and even the dog. The last place she looked was the SU bar. Searching the room the telly with no such luck. Until she sees a slim figure right in the corner sitting alone with her drink.
"Hey, I've been looking for you." Letting a sigh of relief she found her.
Tilly quickly gazed up at her then looked down at her drink. Can you text Warren last sip of their drink and get up to walk away from Jen.
Please don't go" Jen holding onto Tilly.
"Get your hands off me" Tilly said coldly pulling away from Jen.
"Please Tilly can we just talk I'm sorry okay."
"Yeah for the millionth time I've heard it all. I don't want to talk to you anymore its over" Tilly said picking up belongings and walking away from Jen.
Jen begins to follow her "please Tilly!" letting out a sigh. "Please can we just talk five minutes okay. Then I will leave you to your business. So I'm asking for" hoping that she would say yes.
Tilly stopped in tracks "okay five minutes that's all I know I mean it.
Both of them walk to the nearest bench. Tilly was looking everywhere else but at Jen she didn't want her to break. It was a long silence between the two of them Jen took this is as sign that she needed to go first and speak.
"I know you're mad with me, you have every right to be mad at me, I should've told you and I know that now. I was just doing what was best for us." Jen playing her hands.
"Don't you dare say that to me! You are doing what's best for us." Tilly let out a sarcastic laugh."
"You mean to say is that YOU are doing what's best for YOU. I have always been put you first. Can't you remember I quit college and bought tickets for us to leave together? I would do anything for us to survive. I'm fed up with it always being me."
"Tilly, I really don't know what I can say to make things up to you. All I can say is that I'm sorry over and over again but I know it just won't cut it. I've told Liam I'm not going with him to Manchester and staying here with you I want to be with you. If you give this chance I will prove to you that it won't be always you making sacrifices. We can leave tighter just like we planned."
Grabbing Tilly hands. "I want to build a life with you."
"Yeah well you shouldn't have" pulling her hands away from Jen.
"Because I've come to realise, I don't wanna be with you any more, you just cause a lot of heart ache. Don't get me wrong Jen I love you and I really really do! Love shouldn't be all sad & we had a lot of them. I shouldn't have to weary all the time in case you changed your mind & blame me for what's happened. We should be happy obviously I'm not doing that. I want you to be happy. So this is for the best it's over Jen." Tilly just managing to get the words out she begins to walk away from Jen the last time. Leaving Jen heartbroken.
It had been over two weeks since Tilly told her it was over. She kept pleading with her to change her mind but Tilly stood her ground.
Jen had quit her job she hated working there she decided she had enough of Hollyoaks and was going to stay with Liam. Ste thought it was best thing as she was becoming more depressed seeing Tilly around the village.
"I guess this is goodbye then" ste looking a bit teary. "Sorry I'm not good with goodbyes" ste said a little bit annoyed with himself getting emotional.
"Come here" pulling him in for a hug. "Thank you for what you've done for me, you have been a good mate."
Breaking the hug. "I guess this is it" Jen taking one last look around the small flat.
Ste helps carry the rest of Jen luggage to her car.
"Will you ever come back?" Asked Ste.
"Yes." Ste gave him a look. "Erm I really don't think so. No point, too many memories." Jen begins to think about Tilly.
Shaking her head. As to push her thoughts away "Anyway time to move on she has and so am I. New beginning.
"Anyway you can always visit." Suggested Jen. "I best start headings off because of the traffic"
Ste nods "I'll see you soon" Jen smiles walking to her car and drives off heading out of the village. For the last time.
Tilly spots Jen jeeps driving past on her walk to the shops. Tilly realizes that she is leaving town a lump in her throat as she will never see Jen again. "Bye Jen" Whispers Tilly who had tears forming.
