It had been four weeks since Jen left news had travelled fast around the little village. Everyone kept pointing and whispering behind her back but she just ignored it. She wasn't the type to run and hide like someone she used to know.

Tilly had been spending a lot of time with Esther recently which didn't go unnoticed by George & Phoebe. Tilly wasn't interested in getting into another relationship just yet, she didn't want the drama. If she was getting into a relationship it would only be fun no strings attached.

The reason why she had spent so much time because she able to confide in her about Jen. She had been a mixed bag of emotions she felt happy, sad & angry with her but a part of her wish she hadn't left. She couldn't switch her feeling off like a switch. She cared deeply for her & she probably always will.

The first two weeks were horrible for Tilly. She kept having the same recurring dream just before Jen leaving the village with Tilly seeing the Jeep driving past her and running after the blue jeep.

"Jen! Jen! Wait!

STOP PLEASE" Tilly shouting whilst running after her. Jen looking outside mirror noticing Tilly running after. She pulls up on the side of the road, getting out of her car.

"Don't go please?"

"I thought this is what you wanted?" Jen shocked that Tilly was standing there and wanting her to stay.

I… I've changed my mind I don't you to leave. I want you to stay" trying to catch her breath.

"I don't want to go either not without you." Jen moving closer to Tilly.

"I love you. I don't want to give up on us. I was only leaving because I can't stay around watching you when we are not together anymore." Touching Tilly's cheek.

"I want you Jen. I don't want us to split up. I didn't mean it" searching Jen eyes for a response.

Jen smiled at Tilly none of them spoke both looking at each other holding each other tight. Jen leans forward taking Tilly's lips between hers. The kiss full of love and tender.

Then Tilly would wake up not knowing what to do. The second night she had tempted to text her. She wrote out several message but never did send them.

Tilly was meeting up with Gorge and phoebe. She was running a little late rushing to get there on time.

"Hey, guy sorry I'm late." Greeting her friends. Taking a seat on the sofa.

"So how are you both?" Tilly taking her jacket off.

"Good thanks." Answered Phoebe.

"Fine thank you. Just need to find a place to live. You know with Kane's financial problems." George holding in his hand paper of places to rent.

"You could always come and stay with me at McQueen's."

"Thanks I'm not sure I could live with all the McQueen's under one roof, plus it's pretty crowded there as it is."

"We should look for place together because I'm looking to move out of my parents."

"How's it going with them now?" asked George knowing Tilly was having problems at home with them.

"It's alright at the moment. Couple weeks ago we had a massive row over everything university, Jen and other stuff that I don't want to bring up."

"Fair enough. So… are you serious about moving because I think we should start looking." George getting excited at the prospect of moving.

"Yeah I am" Tilly said with a little laugh.

Ok, why don't go out and start look at say 2ish?"

"Oh…. I can't I'm sorry I'm meeting Esther later."

Oh yeah…. You two do seem to be spending a lot of time together." Phoebe trying to find out any gossip.

"There is nothing go on. How many time do I have to tell you? We are friends that's all. We been there already. Anyway I don't think she is looking for a relationship at the moment. She just need her friends right now."

"I give it two weeks & you and Esther will be an item."

George stop it! I'm not looking for a relationship. No women for me. I'm afraid.

George Phoebe and Tilly caught up with each other until Tilly had to meet Esther around 2ish.

Tilly met up with Esther heading upstairs to the pub. Knocking on the door.

Opening "Hi, is Esther in"

"Yeah, she's in her room" said Jack. "Esther!" He called out.

Esther came out of her room. "Hey"

"I'll leave you two girl alone." Jack leaving the room. Tilly pulled a face. Leaving Esther embarrassed.

Tilly spent the next day with Esther chatting. " I hear that you're moving in with George" Esther sitting on the sofa with Tilly.

"Yes, I think it's time to move out of my parent's house. Things aren't getting any better. I think we need some distance between us."

"Are they still upset with you going to uni here?"

"Yep, they don't think I'm making the right decision. They never think making the right decision then they bring... Her... Into it."

Have you spoken or made any contact with you? Asked Esther referring to Jen. Treading carefully as she didn't really like to talk about her too much.

No, well apart from the text I received after she left. Apologising for everything that she's done…" there was a long pause "but that's over now. She's in the past."

Tilly and Esther was spending more and more time together during the week. The reason why she kept spending more time with her was because she felt guilty for not being there for her & also she hadn't been a good friend to her. When she had always been to her.

Saturday afternoon Esther, Tilly and Ruby went shopping to get some outfits together as they were trying to get Esther to organise a fashion show like she did at the SU bar. To show her what she is good at & to build her confidence up. Back at the pub all three of them changed into their clothes Esther was becoming uncomfortable because she didn't like the fact they were all getting changed together she didn't anyone her scar.

Noticing Esther only tried on one items of clothing and had disappeared. Tilly knocked on Esther bathroom door.
With Esther unlocking the door "Hey you disappeared on us. Is everything okay?" Full of concern.

"Yeah I'm fine I'm just tired that's all been a long day and everything" Esther trying to lie.

"You sure you are right? Ever since we've come back. You been uneasy. "

"We better get back to Ruby, we don't wanna want to leave her on her own" Trying to walk away.

Stop! Talk to me. You know you can. You helped me over the past couple of weeks in with everything and have been a great support to me. Let me do the same"

"I just not comfortable getting changed around you two when I look horrible.

No you don't you are beautiful inside and out" touching Esther face. Esther became uncomfortable with what's happened and walked away leaving Tilly standing there.
