Short chapter tonight.

Jen slowly opening her eyes adjusting to the light. Looking around the room noticing she's not in her bedroom and naked under the sheets.

Jen sit up pulling the sheets to cover herself. Turning to her left seeing Cassie lying next to her. Her hair all matted and her clothes all thrown franticly around the room. Her head banging from the alcohol she had taken. Trying to work out what actually happened last night & then remembering what happened.

Jen and Cassie spent the majority of the night drinking with the occasional chit chat. About themselves. After a while Jen began to open up more it was mainly the drink helping her. Speaking about how relationships are a waste of time, why put yourself through that & then get hurt. While Cassie herself just got herself out a relationship with a man. How dull he was and was rubbish in bed and telling Jen she would stick to women. By the end of the night both were in passionate embrace on the dance floor. Both of them deciding they had enough of and decided to have their own fun back at Cassie's.

Placing her head on the pillow a smile appeared on her face. Lying there for a minute or so pulling the sheets up and getting up from the bed & getting dressed quietly as possible but was unsuccessful.

"Hey" stirring from her sleep.

Noticing Jen getting dressed standing there in her underwear trying to find her remaining clothes.

"You're leaving."

"Yeah…I've got to go." Lying to Cassie.

"Oh, okay" pulling herself up.

"Last night was fun. Wanna meet up later?" asked Cassie hopeful that Jen would say yes.

"I'd love too but I have plans" Jen said as she found her dress and putting it on.

"Ok, well you have my number, so give me a call when you're free."

"Yeah, I had an amazing time last night. What I can remember of it but I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm probably not gonna call you. I'm not looking for a relationship. I'm just here for some fun. No strings attached.

"Yeah, me too. I'm not looking for a relationship either." Playing it down. Feeling a little bit rejected.

Once dressed. Jen walks over to Cassie who was still in bed. Leaning forward to kiss her on lips. "Thanks again. See you around sometime." Heading out of the bedroom.

Tilly was skint she had no money with just George and herself living in the rented house. She hadn't planned in staying her as by now Jen and herself would have moved on by now. Tilly needed to get a job soon as she would be enrolling in Uni soon.

Tilly makes her way into the village pooping into coffee shop to see if there were any jobs available she knew with Jen leaving there might be a position there. Though Maxine was not in today.

"Hey, what you up to?" asked George.

"You startled me. Trying to find Maxine to see if there are jobs available. We need money coming in."

"I know. Look why don't we pop into Price Slice to see if there are any vacancies."

It's alright for you. You're lucky to have a job. "George was working at the Florist.

Walking into Price Slice seeing Cindy dressed up to the nun.

"Can I help you?" asked Cindy.

"I was wondering if you have shifts available?" not liking the smug look on Cindy's face.

"No, I'm afraid."

Both walking out the shop. "I'll never find anything at this rate & Esther wants us to go away. How can I with no money."

"Look something will turn up. I promise. Noticing the time I better go. Catch you later." Hugging Tilly.

"I hear you looking for a job?" said Ste overhearing Tilly conversation.

Turing around to face him. "Yeah I am."

"Well how about you working here?" offered Ste.

Tilly contemplated the idea but thought it was a little weird with him being quite close to Jen but she needed the money.

"Yeah okay. When do I start?"

"Now would be good" walking into the shop.

Tilly was halfway through her shift she had been preparing sandwiches. Things were going well.

"So how you been? Haven't seen you in a while" asked Ste referring to when Tilly was over his place.

"I'm good thank you. You?"

"Yeah, I'm good thanks."

"So you and Doug are back together?"

Yep."

Well I hope you too can work out." Tilly wishing him the best.

"Thanks. I hoped that you & Jen could have worked things out. You know it's not too late. Look at me and Doug we've had some really low times but with time you realize what's important.

Hearing Jen name makes her heart flutter. All these emotions were seeming through her love and hate for that woman. Shaking her head like she was trying shaking her off.

"I don't think so Jen & I are defiantly over. She made her choice & I've made mine. We tried to make a go of things but it just didn't work." Tilly didn't believe half of the words that were coming out of her mouth.

"She did love you know. She still does." Tilly nods in agreement she knew Jen loved her throughout everything. hearing that made her feel sad apart her wanted to know if Ste had spoken to Jen. How she was? What she doing? but was too scared to ask & told herself that's in the past.

"And anyway I'm with Esther now"

"Never say never. I hope there is reconciliation between the two of you. You two belong together. Esther's a great girl but…..I'm sorry I just prefer you and Jen together. It's just a little strange that's all."

It's fine. I get your Jen mate. No hard feelings" smiled Tilly.
