well my boss clients is opening a new gallery in America. One day we got talking and you start asking me questions about my life and my passion for art and then we said the same views for art. Then he told me about his life and how he travelled stuff and told he could use someone like me working in his gallery and said I should apply for a position sales assistant" told me it would a life experience.

"Wow fantastic news" beamed David.

"Yeah, it really is" said the rest of them.

I can't believe this is happening. Let's get some drinks and celebrate.

"What!?" shocked to what they were hearing.

"Why wouldn't you accept? you've been offered a job in America and you are going to turn it down." Sian thinking Jen was being silly.

"Yes" not giving any eye contact to the gang that was starring at her feeling uncomfortable. "How can I go when I'm still in love with her. I hate being away from her but leaving America I will be miles and miles away from her. Anyway I still have time to decide, I've got two week to decide."

"Look if your feeling for her are so strong then you should go and see her." said Dominic.

" I am. I need to know if she still feels the way I do. I know she ended it but I really hope she hasn't moved on.

"there only way to find out" Sian taking sip of her drink.

Jen letting out a huge sigh. She knew what she had to do but was afraid to what would happen.

Back in Hollyoaks was a very special day for the certain redhead. Beginning to wake up from the light shining through as Esther was opening her blinds.

Esther hearing the groan from Tilly. "Morning" smiled Tilly walking to her side of the and leaning over to kiss her. Taking a seat next to her on the bed.

"Happy birthday"

"Are you okay?" Asked a concerned Tilly.

Yeah it's you know with whole nancy and Darren & constant arguments between Frankie and jack. It feels like our family is falling apart. I don't know what to do about it."

Hey, it's not your job to fix everything. I know you care about and that's one of the things I like about you." Moving closer to Esther holding her chin with her finger.

Tilly knew that Esther was having problems with her family and didn't really see much of her. She did suggest for them to do something together to take her mind of it but declined or if they did spend time together she would always talk about her family problems, which was becoming slightly problem.

Esther sitting on her side of the bed leans in to kiss the redhead, after a couple minutes breaking the kiss "why don't we just stay in bed all day and cuddle up together." Tilly suggested.

Esther shaking her head. "No, it's your birthday"

"Yes, so that means I choose to stay in bed with you." biting her lip. pulling Esther on the bed so she was laying next to her.

aahh Tilly. We can't we have your party later on. I don't think the guests would be to happy outside on the doorstep" giggled Esther.

"Maybe not" shrugged Tilly.

Finally Esther got Tilly out of bed and cooked her breakfast. Tilly getting some juice from the fridge. "here she is the birthday girl" George slightly running towards her.

"Thank you" Tilly hugging him. Pulling away he plants a kiss on her cheek.

"I saw your mum earlier today she told me to give you these, mines in there too." handing over birthday cards that arrived at her parents house.

Opening George's card reading the message inside. Tilly smiled and politely thanked him for the card.

"I'll give you your present later, when I have wrapped it up. So I best get a move on" putting his left hand on Tilly shoulder then walking away.

Tilly places George's card on top of the unit in the lounge. Opening the rest of the cards and placing them with the rest of the cards.

Once all the birthday cards were on the unit she realises she dropped one of the cards on the floor which was un opened. Bending down to pick it up and opening it up.

Looking at the front of the birthday card with teddy bear holding a heart, opening the card up to read inside.

I hope that life is treating you well.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry and hope that one day in your heart you can forgive me.

Taking a seat on the sofa before her legs gave away, feeling a little shaky starring at the card, reading the card several times as she couldn't believe it was from Jen.

All the feeling of Jen came rushing back to her but mainly the good ones that they shared, apart of her still missed her and wished she was still here with her as they had planned a trip away for Tilly birthday.

Then the bad memories came flooding back to her and how she hurt her, getting up from her the sofa to walks over to the bin screwing up the birthday card and throwing it in the bin and walking away from it.
