**A/N: Hey guys! I'm back with another chapter! I know it is kind of short and I am working on the part of Ally for the next chapter so stay tuned. I hope you enjoy it. Please keep leaving reviews so I have motivation to update. I don't own AA…oh well.

The sun had gone down and the last bits of light were barely lingering by the time Austin trudged through his front door. He let it slam without caring if his parents would scold him and started stomping heavily up the stairs to his bedroom.

He was hoping his parent's wouldn't stop him because he knew it would only take a moment for them to see something was wrong. He was furious with Ally but also with himself. She had been harsh and demanding but his refusal to deal with their situation had pushed her to it. Even though he knew that, he just wanted to be angry with her for now. In his mind, she couldn't understand the pressure he was under.

There was school and parents and friends yes but there were also about a million fans that were all watching him. She didn't have that part. She was always behind the scenes and not in the public eye. He put on a brave face every time he saw her but inside he was falling apart.

Sleep was a luxury that rarely came. Every time his parent's came home from work and called up to him fear crept in that they knew this secret. School was just weeks away and he had to do well so he could be a good role model for his child and on top of that his music career was at a critical point and finding music that felt right for his album was proving difficult.

All these thought were swirling in his head when he was stopped by his mother at the top of the steps. She must have heard his load entry and come out of her bedroom to see what all the noise was about. Austin jumped when he looked up and saw her standing just a few stairs away. He tried to look natural but he knew from his mother's face she saw right through him.

"Austin? Why are you slamming doors and stomping around? What happened today?" she interrogated while blocking his path forward. He was strong enough to force his way past her but he knew it would do no good. She would follow him and get his father involved if need be and he didn't want to get in more trouble than he was already in.

"I uh- I don't want to talk about it." He tried hoping beyond hope that she would accept this answer. He knew better though and saw from her face that they were about to have a discussion.

"No, we are going to talk about it. You come in here all upset after weeks of acting distant and closing yourself off. You are clearly dealing with some things and I want to know what it is. Does this have something to do with Ally? You haven't been bringing her around much lately and your father and I saw Lester a few days ago and he acted very odd. Are you two having problems?" Mrs. Moon suggested prompting the anger to return to Austin's mind as he thought of their fight this afternoon.

Mimi saw his expression change and knew she had touched a nerve. "Come down stairs and talk with your father and me about it." She offered placing a hand on his shoulder. Immediately Austin recoiled and took another step up the stairs.

"No…" he spit out, the anger evident in his tone, "Ally can have what she wants." Austin continued past his mother and toward his room. She spun around to watch him walk away becoming angry at his disobedience.

"Don't you walk away from me. We aren't done with conversation and I will not hesitate to ground you Austin Monica Moon." She warned. Austin reached his doorway, turned to face her looking her directly in the eye and placing a hand on his bedroom door ready to slam it closed.

"Go ahead ground me. I'm grounded anyway because Ally is pregnant!" he shouted then pushed the door closed as hard as he could so that he could hear the satisfactory crash of it closing and feel the shake it produced.

Then he swiftly pulled off his shoes and dove head first onto his bed in the darkness. He hoped maybe he would lie there in the dark until it was just a dream and the entire day could start over.

The salty tears from his eyes began and he wept without caring how lame he looked. For the first time he cried freely about everything that had happened since he found out Ally was pregnant. He cried about their fight and about his stupid mistakes. He cried about the future dreams he would probably have to give up and how much of a disappointment he was going to be to his parents. He couldn't hold it all in anymore and he didn't want to.

On the other side of the door his mother stood in silence letting the realization of what her son had just said wash over her. Her hands came to her mouth and tears to her eyes. Her feet felt frozen in place and she was too shocked to say a word.

Several minutes passed before she was able to pull herself together and stagger down the stairs to the kitchen where Mike was cooking dinner, oblivious to the fact that his world was now changed. Mimi stood in the door way and let out a soft sob alerting Mike to turn and face her.

"What's wrong Mimi?" he asked putting down the pepper shaker in his hand and coming to envelop her in a hug. He didn't make it all the way to her before she choked out two words that stopped him in his tracks.

"Ally's pregnant." She half whimpered and moved to meet his embrace. Mike caught her but faltered in his responding hug while he processed this new information.

"Oh my god…" he whispered trailing off into silence. Both stood there in the kitchen unable to speak as they processed what this meant for their son's future. Anger had not come yet, only shock and sorrow, as time seemed to stand still in the Moon household.
