Dani's Pov
"It's our policy miss. Every patient leaves in one." I was arguing with the nurse about leaving in a wheelchair. I was more than capable of walking.
"Dani, this nurse has done nothing but help you the past few months. So deal with it and let her finish her job." Santana gave the nurse a smile and I apologized. Santana has told me all about how nice and caring the people here have been.
We got to the front door and I could see cameras flashing everywhere. San wasn't kidding, I am famous. I saw a big man signal the nurse and we turned around. "Where are we going?" I asked look at Santana concerned. She gave me a strong reassuring smile and I felt my body relax a little.
"Just to the back door to avoid the paps." She kissed the top of my head and walked along side me.
About twenty minutes later Santana pulled into the driveway of a house, not a massive one that you'd think most celebrities would have but big enough to be comfortable. The flower beds out front looked over grown and the lawn needed some care so I assumed we didn't have gardeners. "Did I like to garden?" I asked Santana as she pulled into the garage.
"Once in a while, but usually you just called someone to clean it up. I don't really have a green thumb as you can see." She took the keys out I the ignition. "You liked to sit on the lawn and write your music and you always said the flowers helped." She got out of the car and walked around to my side and opened the door. She bent down and picked me up like she would've if I was her bride. She shut the car door with her foot and carried me inside the house.
"You're really strong." I commented on how she could carry me with no problem. She opened the front door to reveal a cozy, warm feeling house. It felt cold and empty though, like the love that once resided here had left.
"Thanks. I remember, before your accident we were arguing about you going on tour and the wedding date. We brought up calling it off and that isn't an option for me. Anyways, we deided to push the date and I picked you up just like this, brought you to the bed and tickled you. " She smiled at me as she recalled the memory I had forgotten. She continued to carry me through the house, past glass pained doors that led to the living room. "Are you hungry?" She asked as she laid me down on the massive couch that wrapped around the room. The kitchen was behind the living room with a small dining table in between. The house seemed perfect for a family. I could cook while the kids played. 'Kids? Slow down Dani. You're just getting home and you're not even married yet' I thought to myself.
"Not really, I'm kinda tired though." She came back with a water bottle and my medication. I took it without hesitation and she scooped me up again.
"Nap time it is then." She carried me up the stairs to a large bedroom. Clothes were covering the floor and dishes were piling up. She placed me on the massive bed in the middle of the room. "I'm really sorry for the mess, I've just been under a lot of stress and-." I cut her off by placing my lips on hers. Instant sparks went off and everything around me disappeared. Felt her put her hands on my waist and pull me in and deepen the magical kiss. The taste of her lips consumed me and a memory of our first kiss played in my mind.
I remembered how she wanted me to open up to her and trust her because she wanted me. All of me, bad, good and even broken. This kiss was just like our first. It was my way of saying I needed her.
I broke away from her and I felt her smile against my lips. "I remembered our first kiss." I began to tell her. "It was just like that." I opened my eyes and looked into hers. "I want you Santana Lopez. So please promise me no matter how hard this gets you won't leave me."
She kissed me again and said "I would never dream of it Danielle Santos. You are my one and only. I promise." She climbed into bed with me and held me tight in her arms. I placed my head on her chest and listened to her heart beat while she hummed a somewhat familiar tune.

Santana's pov
As Dani fell asleep on my chest all I could think about was the fact that when I kissed her she remembered our first kiss. Her memories, slowly but surely are returning to her. I wonder if she would remember her music and regain the passion she once had for her music. Even if she didn't it wouldn't change how much I love her.
A few moments passed and Dani began to stir, mumbling about something. She started to thrash around accidentally hitting me in the chin with her head. "Fuck." I swore in a hush tone when I tasted blood. I shook her to wake her up from her nightmare. "Dani, wake up baby." Her eyes bolted open and she started screaming. "Dani calm down you're okay love, shhh." I wrapped my arms around her to sooth her. She stopped screaming and began to sob. "It's okay sweetheart. You're safe now. I'm here. I'm right here baby." I pulled her in close as her tears soaked my shirt. We sat like this till her tears subsided.
"San.." She asked in a soft voice.
"Yes? What's wrong?" She looked my in the eyes with complete fear in hers. "Baby you're scaring me."
"I had a dream about the crash..." I held her closer and tears began to fall from her eyes again.
"You're safe now okay." I promised her.
"Your lip.. did I? Was that my fault." She ran her thumb over my busted lip and I winced in pain.
"It's fine love." I kissed the top of her head before getting up to get some ice. "Just a fat lip, I've had worse."
I went into the kitchen and opened the freezer. I grabbed an icepack and decided to bring her something to snack on. I took some carrots out and put them in the bowl. I turned around and jump at the sight of Dani standing behind me. "Jesus Dan make some noise so you don't give me a heart attack." She smiled and let out a giggle. I missed the way she giggled. "Wanna listen to some of your music?" I asked while handing her the bowl. She nodded, agreeing to my suggestion with a carrot sticking out of her mouth. I smiled at her. "You're really cute you know."
"I know." She replied with another carrot sticking out of her mouth.
I walked over to the speakers and plugged my phone in. "Okay so this one you wrote while working at the dinner, not to long after we met." I played the song Lightweight for her and I quietly sang along as I grabbed blankets and pillows to the kitchen where we laid on the floor talking, holding hands and cuddling for the rest of the night.
