"For I ruled a thousand worlds and Korriban was my crown, Korriban my cradle and testing ground.
I have waited twenty thousand years but I will wait no longer."
My eyes open and for a brief moment I'm unsure of where I am or even what time it is.
Memories come drifting back, I'm on Tython, in my bed in the Temple, but why can I feel this tangible sense of fear? The voice in my mind is oily and black; it has caused countless deaths and will cause countless more if it is released.
I dress quickly and hurry to the library. It's late, or even early, but there are a few students still up, working away on their studies. I quickly walk through the entrance and into the section for Jedi scholars. I've only recently been allowed into this section, but it's where I'm likely to get what I need in terms of information.
"Welcome Jedi Eemma, what can I help you with."
I sigh a little bit, Chiss names don't breakdown the way that others do, but it's close enough for my purposes and the master in the holocron is kind and helpful. I would love to know how it knows I'm no longer a Padwan though, it was only just before I went to Courscant and as far as I'm aware no-one tells the knowledge keepers when someone is able to access more information. Perhaps there is a way they can tell who is accessing it, and how much they should know.
"I wanted to learn about some ancient history."
"Of course; there is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
Please specify time frame."
"Twenty thousand years ago"
I know that's a staggeringly long time ago, especially with the knowledge lost during the Shadow War shortly after the redemption of Revan but I don't care about the odds; I have to know what the voice was talking about.
"The only space faring species at the time was the Rakata, most notable for the invention of hyperdrives and the Star Forge."
"Do you have any information about Korriban during this period."

"There is no ignorance there is knowledge is one thing Vel'eemma but falling asleep in the library is generally frowned upon."
Only one member of the council is on planet at the moment, unfortunately for me it's Grand Master Shan. I'm not totally surprised that she wanted to speak to me, the information I eventually accessed would be dangerous in the wrong hands, or even inexperienced ones for that matter.
"I had a vision; a being of terrible power was awakening from a long slumber. I'm not a fighter like... Some Jedi but.."
"... You wanted to help and knowledge is just as useful as a lightsaber, often more so."
I nod quickly, perhaps too quickly. I'd wanted to say 'like Kirain' but I stopped. Master Shan didn't seem to notice, almost like she was weighing something up.
"What I'm about to tell you doesn't leave this room, Understood?"
I nod again. Whatever it is must be important but why tell me?
"Approximately four weeks ago an imperial bombing raid on Belsavis uncovered an ancient prison. The Rakata name for the prison translates roughly into 'Eternity Vault.' From what we could gather the prison was used to store the worst of the worst of Rakata prisoners; and that is saying quite a lot in itself
Nine days ago I was contacted by the master overseeing our Knights still fighting on Belsavis. They all experienced a vision of a figure in the darkness and a name 'Soa'"
"You think what I saw was a connected?"
"I do; Forty-Eight standard hours ago an elite strike team was deployed to the Eternity Vault to Neutralize the threat. They reported in about an hour ago, the threat had been stopped just in time."
"... No fatalities, a few cuts and scrapes, a broken arm and one with severe concussion."
I don't know how I knew that; the injury list just seemed right.
"Exactly"
She doesn't say anything but her mind is racing, she knows a lot more than she's letting on.

"Next stop the Tion Hegemony"
"Thank you Captain, it's fortunate you where heading that way."
"Nah; I ain't the Captain. The Captain is the shapely pair of legs we stepped over in the corridor."
"Never the less, it's rare to find someone willing to take me on board..."
"... Considering you're a Chiss. Yeah well normally I'd have not let you within a hundred meters of my baby. But I owe you one, and I pay my debts. "
I turn around and the 'Shapely legs' have transformed themselves into a Twi'lek woman. She stands there with grease and oil on her face but her purple eyes show her true self; the one that constantly craves excitement and adventure as well as fierce loyalty and determination. I've seen that fire in someone else's eyes, but that was almost a year ago.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't aware we had met before."
"We haven't, but I still owe you; more than a simple trip can repay you at any rate."
She sticks out her hand, it's only slightly greasy so I shake it.
"Lasseya Dulius. I believe you met my brother last year."
