SAVE
AN: Sorry for not updating sooner. I haven't had much inspiration to continue the story but I decided to finish it no matter what. Well I hope that people that reads this chapter likes it and give me reviews about. No matter if it is good or bad, because to me they all are good reviews. The reason for that is that I can learn from the bad reviews and improve my story.
CHAPTER 4: THE VICTIM HAS A NAME
At the Crime Scene
Brennan, Booth, Jane, and Maura arrived at the crime scene 20 minutes later. Brennan and Maura went straight to were the body was to see if they can get an idea on the victim. While Jane and Booth stay behind and watch them. Frost came up to where Jane and Booth was to give them an update. "Hay, Jane we went around and talk to all of the neighbors and no one claims that they saw anything, and no one around here seems to be in the missing person." Frost tells them.
"Thanks Frost for the up date." Jane says. Then she remember that she didn't introduce Booth to him.
"Oh, Frost this Special Agent Seely Booth. He will be working with us on the case so be respectful." Jane said.
"Why is the FBI here?" Frost ask.
"I'm only here because Bones is here and she goes no where with out me." Booth jump in.
"Who is Bones and why is she here?" ask Frost.
Booth was getting mad at Frost real quick. "She is Dr. Temperance Brennan and she is an anthropologist at the Jeffersonian. The BPD called her to help to identify the body and I'm here to make sure she is safe." He said with a lot of anger.
"OK lets just calm down and work the case." Jane said trying to break the tension between the two.
"Sorry it's just that we had some problems with the FBI in the past." Frost said with disgust.
"Well don't worry about me I'm just here to make sure Bones is safe, that's all." Booth claims.
"Another thing I only calls Dr. Brennan, Bones." Booth said.
"OK lets go and take the statement of the witness and see what Maura and Dr. Brennan found out about the victim." Jane said as she walks away.
-line break-
As soon as Maura and Brennan got out of the car they both went to the body and see what they can found out. They figure that Booth and Jane can take care of the other things with out starting trouble. When they got there Dr. Brennan could tell that this person was beaten and was stab with a blunt object. "It looks like this person has only been dead for about a month. The pubic bone suggests that are victim is female, incisors suggest that she was between the ages 45 and 50. there seems to something stick in her teeth. Brennan explain as she remove the object form her mouth and rinse it with some water. "Its here driving license. It says her name is Amber Doyle.
Maura who was sitting there and listing to Dr. Brennan explain in detail, but when she herd the victim name she starts to panic, because she that Amber Doyle was Patrick Doyle mother which mean that this person here was her grandmother. That could mean that she was in danger. She had to get Jane tell her about this. Maura thought.
Brennan seen the change in her friends face. "What is wrong Maura?" Brennan ask.
"NO, this is my biological grandma." Maura said quietly.
"I'm sorry Maura." Brennan said.
"It's ok I never new her. Maura explain.
As they were sitting there talking Jane, Booth, and Frost was walking toward them. When they got closer to them Jane noticed that something was wrong with Maura so she started to run towards her. When Jane started to run the other two did to. When Jane got to Maura she pick her up and held her close. "Maura what is wrong/ Is the baby okay? Jane ask. Maura.
"The baby is fine but I'm not." Maura said
"Then what is wrong Maura because you are scarring me." Jane explain.
"The victim is Amber Doyle. Patrick Doyle mother." Maura explain. When Jane herd that she tighten her grip she new why she afraid. Maura could be next. when she turned around she seen Frost and Booth. Frost has shock expression on his face. She new that he herd what Maura said and was worry about her too.
"We need to get the body back to the morgue and we all need to talk because we might need the FBI help." Jane explain to everyone and after that she walk off with Maura she new she had to protect her no matter what. She also new that he had to contact Patrick.
"What's going on?" Booth ask.
"You have to wait until we get back to the percent." Frost said.
"Because what we are about to tell you has to be done in secret or it would put people in danger." Frost said and walking off. Booth went to go get Brennan and they went to the car that they rode with Jane and Maura. Booth was wondering what was going but he new he had to wait.
