Devil Take the Hindmost, chapter 17

A/N: I am sorry, and am sorry in advance for this chapter. It's rather short, and I'm rather tired. I'm sick as well, and just finished exams. New semester is going to start, but I'm trying my best to update before then! Plus, I finished the first season of Supernatural in three days, so nobody kill me...please.

TRIS' JOURNAL:

January 23rd, 2014

It's been two days since Tobias was arrested, and I'm not sure what to do. Christina has been over several times a day, trying to help me figure out who the murderer was. Course, it looks like Al was murdered, but I figure that he died by suicide. He was pretty torn up about seeing Tobias and I together. Lynn told me what he was like, as she was one of the last people to see him alive. She was a potential suspect, but they let her go after her sister comfirmed her alibi that she was at the theater, watching that new Disney movie. I knew Lynn had a secret affinity for Disney movies, she just hid it very well.

The next suspect had been Eric, as the story is told, Eric was the one to help Al trudge through the last days before his death. Al's mom comfirmed that Eric had come over often, and they watched movies together. So, that crosses out Eric for the situation being. I'm sure the two exchanged very nice words about Tobias and I, but I'm still suspicious about his alibi. Eric was the last person I'd suspect to help Al and give him motivational speeches.

Passing over Shauna, Marlene and I, it only left Christina and Uriah. I had a feeling the police would be suspicious of the two, but I'm sure Christina couldn't have done it! She was in fact, at the mall with Will during the time Al was murdered, which was December 24th, 9:00-10:00pm. They found his body in the park nearby, and there was no evidence that somebody had shot him, but apparently had died by asphyxiation, someone had strangled him. I'm sure enough that Christina couldn't have done it, but maybe Uriah. Uriah never was fond of Al, and when I asked Tobias about how Uriah felt towards Al, he gave a half-hearted shrug.

The prime suspect right now is Uriah, but Eric will always be a suspect. I know Tobias' couldn't have done it, but that's all I have to say for now
