Chapter 24: Is this Punishment Part 2: Toothless

Jack POV

Hiccup jut stood like he was about to be embarrassed while the dragon just stood his ground growling. I guess he sees us as a threat.

"No. Relax. We're not here to hurt you. Or embarrass you." I tried to re-ensure him.

"Then why were you hiding?" He looked at us suspiciously.

"Well…" I begin. "She wanted to talk to you." I turned and pointed at Astrid.

"Astrid?" He stares in shock. She makes a weak little wave.

"You know her?" Elsa asked in confusion. I too was confused.

"Well, yeah. I mean, the whole university knows her. She's a star football player, and martial arts expert." Hiccup explained. Well that makes sense.

"Okay so uh…" I began. "Basically she wants to get to know you. But she didn't know how to so she asked us for help. But before we could she saw you and for some bazaar reason she decided to follow you. Well more like stalking to me." Hiccup winced at that part. "So… yeah we ended up here."

"All this just to meet me?" Hiccup asked.

"Yeah." Elsa winced. "Wow, now that I think about it this was extremely awkward."

"You think?" Hiccup said. Astrid then approached him, feeling shy and nervous. However Toothless growled. "Whoa! Calm down, boy! It's okay. She's not a threat." He held the dragon and scratch behind his head. He seemed to enjoy it. After a few seconds the dragon seems to calm down. "I uh… I guess I have some explaining to do don't I?"

"Not really." I smiled.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"I saw that moon stone necklace your lizard- er, dragon had on."

"You know about that?" He stands surprised.

"Moon Stone?" Astrid was confused. "Like an actual stone from the moon? What are you guys talking about?"

I turn to face her. "Well since you don't know I'll show you."

"Are you sure." Elsa gives me a worried look.

"It's okay, Elsa." I nod. I remove my necklace. Revealing my true form. Pale skin and snow white hair. Astrid, Hiccup and the Dragon all reacted in awe. "My name is Jack Frost." I smile.

"Jack Frost? As in THE Jack Frost?" Hiccup asked in surprise.

"Yep. That's me." I smiled back. But just to prove it, I form a Snowflake in my hand. They stare at the snowflake floating in my hand.

"Wow! That's amazing!" Hiccup smiled in awe.

"How is this happening!?" Astrid panicked and started hyperventilating.

"It's okay Astrid. Just stay calm. I know it's a lot to take in." Elsa held her to comfort her. "Believe me I know the feeling."

"You do?"

"Yep. When I found out Jack was a winter spirit and he was also like me, it was a lot to take in." She explained.

"Wait… Like you?"

"Yeah. Well, I'm not a winter spirit but I can do magic." She explains. She starts to show them like I did.

"Wow! This day is just full of surprises." Hiccup smiled. "Oh that's right, I forgot. Everyone this is Toothless." He introduced. The dragon Toothless smiled back.

"I can see why his names Toothless." I chuckled. But then he grew his teeth into a smile. "Whoa! That's awesome!" We all then turned to Astrid who was still shaken up by all this.

I need to sit down." Astrid says as collapses on the grass.

After a few minutes of Astrid calming down and processing everything that had transpired today. We all stayed by her side making sure she was okay. Then I remembered something.

"Oh crap I forgot about the daycare center!" I panicked.

"Oh my gosh you're right!" Elsa realized this too. "I'm so sorry!" She looked sad and guilty.

"It's okay." I sighed, "I'll just call them and tell them I'm sick." I get out my iPhone and called the center. "Hello?" "Yes it's Jack." Yeah I'm calling to say-." "What?" "Oh." "I see." "Well I uh… hope everything is okay." "Oh I that's good." "Thank you." I turn off my phone.

"What did they say Jack?" Elsa asked.

"The daycare center had a pipe leak so the floors are soaked. They called the parents about it. Anyway a maintenance guy is taking care of it right now." I smiled.

"Wow. You caught yourself a lucky break." She giggles.

"I know right?" I chuckle. We turned our attention back to Astrid, who looks like she's calm down.

"You okay, Astrid?" Elsa asks calmly.

"I think so." She sighed.

"So…" Hiccup started. "Why did you want to meet with me?" He asked Astrid. "I'm just… just a nobody."

"Well um, you see. I ah, I sort of…" Astrid blushed. She was having a hard time trying to say the right words. Then Toothless gets up and walks over to her and sniffs her. "Um! I ah!" She was a getting nervous with Toothless being this near her. But then he licks her.

"He likes you." Hiccup laughed. "Hey! Scratch behind his ears." Astrid did just that. Toothless looked like he was enjoying it. When Astrid stopped Toothless collapsed smiling.

"Aww he's like a dog." Elsa cooed a smile.

"Yeah. My mom is a good dragon trainer." Hiccup chuckled.

"Your mom trains dragon!?" We all said in unison.

"Yep." Hiccup smiled. "Me and my family come from Berk, Scotland."

"You come from Scotland too?" Astrid stares in awe.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"I'm from Berk too!" She smiled.

"Really that's awesome!"

"It must be amazing to have a mom that trains dragons." Elsa giggled.

"Yeah it is. I guess that's how my mom met my dad." Hiccup explained. "My dad, Stoik was a war veteran during the Vietnam War. He and his best friend Gobber were the best soldiers in Scotland. That is until they were separated during the bombings. They both got caught in it and got separated. But they also lost their limbs." We winced at that part.

"Oh, sorry to hear that." Astrid said with a sad frown.

"Hold on I'm not done yet. Gobber was found, but they didn't manage to find my dad. Then mom, Valka, who was just out on a flight with her dragon Cloudjumper, a Stormcutter by the way, when Cloudjumber managed to get a sent on my dad. He stormed down and rescued him. My mom took him back to her place and nursed him back to health. Of course he was surprised that he was surrounded by dragon. Mom shows him all the different kinds of dragons. For example Toothless here is a Night Fury."

"Cool." Me and Elsa said in unison. He laughed together.

"Anyway." Hiccup chuckled. "He and mom started to become really close, and then they fell in love, got married, and had me." He concluded with a smile.

"That was actually a very cool story." I commented.

"Thanks." Hiccup smiled. Then Toothless woke up and nudges Astrid. "He wants you to ride him."

"Me!?" Astrid went wide-eyed.

"Yeah. Come on, I'll show you." He offered his hand to her. She was hesitant at first but she got on. "Hold on tight." She wrapped her arms around his waist. "Okay, Toothless. Up gently." Toothless nodded, spread his wings and got a slow running start. Then they took off into the air. We watched with awe at the amazing site of a dragon flying in the air.

Elsa POV

"Hey." Jack turns to me. "Let's join them. Grab on." I was surprised at first, but then I smile and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Ready?" I nod. "Okay here we go!" And we went flying into the sky. We manage to catch up with them. "Hey!" Jack waved.

"You can fly too?" Hiccup smiled in awe. Astrid kept her eyes closed shut and held on to Hiccup tightly. "Astrid open your eyes. There's nothing to be of." Astrid was reluctant at first but she slowly opened her eyes. When looked around she was in awe struck. We flew over Manhattan and saw everything. Then Jack and Hiccup decide to go high into the clouds. "Alright, I admit it. This is pretty cool… It's amazing. Both of you are amazing."

"Thanks" He smiled. I turned my attention to Jack.

"Enjoying yourself?" He smiles.

"This never gets old." I smile and hug him. I then see Astrid hugging Hiccup as well as resting her head against his back. She looked like she was enjoying being with him. It's like how I enjoy being with Jack.

"Wait. What is that?" Hiccup narrowed his eyes. We all then looked into the same direction.

"Oh no." Jack whispered. My eye widened wide at what we were seeing. Nightmares! They came in the form of dragons. "Look out!" They charged at us. Swarming us like birds. We did our best to avoid them though.

"What are these things!?" Hiccup shouted.

"Nightmares!" Jack explained. "They live off darkness and fear!" We kept on struggling to avoid them.

"Where did they come from!?" Astrid asked.

"Pitch must have sent them!" I called out.

"Who's Pitch!?" Hiccup called struggling to get away.

"The Bogeyman!" Jack said. "Look I'll explain later first we need to survive these things!"

"Okay!" Hiccup nodded. "Come on, Toothless! Let's show these guys what we're made of!" Toothless flew around towards the vast Nightmare dragons. Breathing fire and burn them all away. Even causing them to become glass and shatter.

Me and Jack used our ice and snow powers to freeze them as they all shattered. To me we were doing well. But Jack looked worried.

"Something isn't right." He says.

"What do you mean?"

"None of them are regenerating."

"Why is this?"

"I think one of them is the Evolving One. But which one is it!?" We soon found out when we destroyed every single on of them, except for one left. Hiccup goes in for the kill. "Hiccup, Wait!" Jack shouted. But it was too late. The one sand dragon then gathered his fallen comrades and grew bigger.

"Oh crap." Hiccup stared in shock. That was The One! And it swatted Toothless like a bug.

"Hiccup! Astrid! Toothless!" I screamed. They were falling. Astrid's screams could be heard from our distance. Toothless managed to recover and zoom down and grab Hiccup.

"Toothless, Astrid is still falling we need to get her!" Toothless zoomed at incredible speed and Hiccup grabbed her. "Are you okay!"

"Hiccup?" She looked at him with tears in her eyes. "Thank you so much for rescuing me!" She cried tears and hugged him tightly. Hiccup blushed but smile a little. We reunited with them.

"Are guys okay!?" Jack called.

"Yeah!" Hiccup nodded. We all stared at the roaring Nightmare Dragon.

Jack POV

We had to defeat that thing here and now. Then an idea came to mind.

"Listen up! I got an idea. Me and Elsa will use our ice magic to get at it, while you and Toothless use your speed and fire as well!" I explained. "Each turn we get we hit it hard!"

"Sounds like a plan!" Hiccup nodded.

"Here it comes!" Elsa said. The huge Nightmare Dragon came roaring in at us.

"Okay on my mark!" Jack instructed. We waited. And when the Black sand Dragon got close enough… "Now!" We split in two different directions. "Let's do this together Elsa!"

"Yeah!" We both fired our ice magic at one side of the creature. While Toothless used his fire on the other side. Each turn we flew we fired in all different directions. The giant sand dragon tried to hit us but we we're just too fast for it. Then Toothless used his extreme sonic speed and impaled the giant creature in all directions. We were so impressed we actually lost count. After a few more hits to the thing, they rounded up with us. I turn to Hiccup. "Ready?"

"Let's do it!" Hiccup nodded.

"Elsa, together!" I shouted.

"Go for it Toothless!" Hiccup shouted.

Together we combined fire and ice in spiral attack. It made contact and drilled right through it. The beast finally fell and dissolved. We could now breath easily.

"We did it!" Hiccup cheered. Astrid and Elsa cheered with him. But I knew better. I knew that wasn't last time we were gonna see that thing. When will that thing go down? What is it going to take?

Elsa POV

It was already night when we landed back in Central Park. We took a few moments to recover.

"You okay Elsa?" Jack asked me.

"Yeah, I'm okay." I sighed. Jack smiled. Then we turned our attention to Astrid and Hiccup.

"Hiccup?" She began.

"Yeah?" He answered. But then what happened next what unexpected. First she punched him in the gut. "Oof!"

"That was for putting through that awful experience!" She scolded. We felt bad for Hiccup. "And this…" Then next she kissed him on the lips. "Was for everything else." Hiccup was surprised as he blushed bright red.

"Uh, um… you're welcome…" He made a weak smile.

"So…" She began again. "Want to go out on a date sometime?" Hiccup went wide eyed again.

"Uh… yeah. I would like that." He smiled.

"Cool." She smiled. She then gave him her number and he gave hers his number. "Call me anytime you want. I'll see you later." She smiled and waved.

"Y-Yeah." He stood the smiling dumb founded. She then came over to us.

"Thank you so much for helping me, guys." She smiled at us.

"You're welcome." I said.

"Happy to have helped." Jack said.

"Okay. I'll see you guys later." Went off smiling and waving. We did too. But you know just seeing Hiccup and Astrid together like that makes me envious. I almost had a thing with Jack. I am tempted to try but I fear of the consequences. Is this punishment?

Normal POV

Down in an alleyway were two black figure watched everything. Both are huge but one of them in male while other was female.

"Well, Drago I'd say this has been an eventful evening wouldn't you say?" The fat lady smiled.

"Pfft! Please Ursula! This was complete waist!" Drago snarled. "Never send sand to do a dragons job!"

"Oh my dear friend. Pitch has made it into an ever-evolving force. So no matter how many times it dies it comes back to life." She smiled. "Like a phoenix reborn from the ashes." She dramatically said. Dragon just shoved it off and walked away.

"It doesn't matter. If it can't kill it's target then it's not good enough to be a predator." He ranted. And with that we disappeared into the night. Ursula just stood there smiling.

"Oh believe me my friend. You will get your chance."

Chapter 24 is done. Wow a lot really happened in this chapter! Hiccup and Astrid are now boyfriend and girlfriend and now we introduce two new villains to Pitch's cause. Wonder what's gonna happen next? Read it, review it, and tell me what you people think. This is just here for people to enjoy. :)
