Naruto-sama 2

After some time of cheering, the villagers gradually started to disperse, leaving Naruto with his friends. He was so happy that wanted to stay with them all night and celebrate but Kakashi-sensei and Iruka-sensei wouldn't let him do that. They ordered him to go home and sleep for he had had a very exhausting day and had already overexerted himself. Naruto pouted but finally gave in. The good thing was that he was given an extra-large bowl of Ichiraku ramen made especially for him because the shop had been obliterated during Pain's invasion. At least he had his ramen before turning in.

He went to bed expecting a deep dreamless sleep. Instead he kept on reliving the same memory again and again. The memory of Hinata being stabbed by Pain. Over and over again. It made him so angry that bubbles of red chakra started forming around him.

When he finally woke up late in the day, he noticed two very distinct things. The first was that his bed had been ripped in places by someone and he had a suspicion that it was done by himself while in the nine tails chakra cloak. The thought that he might put the villagers at risk worried him a lot. He would have to work on it.

The second was that he had an overwhelming desire to go and see Hinata Hyuga to reassure himself that she was safe and sound since the previous night's dreams had shaken him up pretty badly and he needed some closure. Fast. He hurriedly brushed, bathed, ate some ramen, dressed and finally headed out in search of the lavender-haired kunoichi.

The second he was out the door, the first thing he did was meditate to go into Sage Mode since that gave him the ability to sense everyone's chakra and would be the quickest way to pinpoint Hinata's current location. His eyelids became orange and his pupils resembled those of a toad, signaling his ascension into Sage Mode. He immediately felt Hinata's warm, strong chakra coming from the direction of where training ground 3 used to be. He jumped to his rooftop and went off towards her.

Halfway to her location, he sensed her chakra declining rapidly and realised something was very wrong and that Hinata's life was in danger. He put all the chakra that he had in his legs and went full sprint towards her. Reaching his destination, his immediate reaction was,'HINATAAAA!'

Naruto screamed,'Hinataaaaaaaaa!'as soon as he saw her lying face down on the ground with splinters of wood, torn apart trees and logs of wood surrounding her. He ran towards her like no tomorrow. As soon as he reached her, he turned her over and scooped her up onto his arms, checking her pulse. He was extremely glad to know that he could feel a pulse though it was week. Getting worried again, he ran to the medical tent which served as a temporary hospital for both Konoha shinobi and civilians.

He was still in Sage Mode when he arrived his destination with a fading Hinata in his hands. While on the way, he had made a shadow clone beforehand and sent him ahead to find Sakura and explain the situation to her so that no time would be wastes. And as expected, she was waiting for them. Seeing her, Naruto said,

'SAKURA-CHAN, SAKURA-CHAN! Something's wrong with Hinata. He breathing is shallow and I can feel her chakra fading. What's happening to her, Sakura-chan? Please make her alright.'

Sakura said,'Time is of the essence here. Take her to bunk number 4. I'll treat her there. Move. Now.'

Naruto hurriedly took Hinata to the bunk and placed her as gently as he could. He said,'Sakura-chan...' a look of desperation in his eyes.

Sakura only said,'Move.' and got to work on her patient. After what seemed like an eternity to Naruto but was actually just 10 minutes, Sakura looked up, a look of relief in her eyes. She said,

'She's fine Naruto. It looked serious but it was really just a case of exhaustion but it could have gotten a lot worse had you been any late in bringing her to me.'

'Oh thank God. Thank you so much Sakura-chan. You're a lifesaver. Literally. Is she gonna be alright?,' he said.

'Yeah. She's gonna be fine. Just needs a few hours of rest and our Hinata will be good as new. Speaking of Hinata, how did you find her anyway?

Suddenly, Naruto felt himself about to blush for some reason. He was just worried about a friend and had just felt like seeing her and making sure she was doing fine. There was nothing to be embarrassed about. Right? But for some reason, he felt himself saying,

'I was just on a walk and had gone in Sage Mode to train when I felt Hinata's chakra rapidly declining and went to see her, thinking something was wrong.'

'Oh, okay. She's lucky that you found her. Well she's gonna be fine now. You can go or stay if you want. She'll be waking up in an hour or so.'

'I'll stay. I wanna make sure she gets home safe and sound.'

'Okay... I'll be taking my leave now, I have other patients to attend to. Well Naruto, bye. See you!' said Sakura and went away.

'BYE, SAKURA-CHAN! AND THANKS AGAIN,' shouted Naruto. She turned around, waved one last time and then disappeared among the patients.

As he stood there looking at Hinata's peaceful sleeping form, he noticed the way a strand of her lavender hair curved down her smooth forehead and made a tiny S and he found it terribly endearing for some reason. The way one of her hands was resting on her stomach, the way her full lips were slightly agape, even the way her chest heaved while she breathed were extremely cute to him. No, cute was too less of a word to describe her beauty, he thought. She was simply magnificent. And perfect.

Realising what he was thinking about, Naruto shook his head to clear his thoughts, saying to himself,'I love Sakura-chan, right? Then why am I feeling this way about Hinata-chan? I need to talk to someone about this. I wish the Pervy Sage were here. He's always given me good advice, although I wonder how good would he have been in the subject of love.'

Regarding his feelings for the moment, he sat in the stool beside Hinata's assigned bunk, resting his head beside her shoulder, suddenly feeling tired from all the excitement and worry and dozed off in a few seconds.

The last thought that crossed his mind before he fell asleep was that lavender hair are much more beautiful than pink ones...
