Hey Everyone! Firstly, I would like to apologize for the long wait and no explanation. I have been very busy with work and school along with family commitments. I am truly sorry and I hope I will be given. I would also like to thank all who have reviewed and re-read the story; it means a lot to me. I hope this chapter makes up partially for the long wait. ;) As you can probably tell, the story is coming to an end soon. I will probably write a few more chapters. I hope you enjoy this chapter and sorry if there are errors I didn't get to check it over!
Rebekah awoke to the morning sun rays shining through her window. She found Stefan's hand wrapped around her naked body. She smiled and pulled his arm closer.
"Good morning," Rebekah said.
"Mmmm, I don't want to get up," Stefan said as he kissed her shoulder and pulled her closer.
"Me too, but you know they'll be up soon," Rebekah said. The twins always woke up at the same time and they would crawl around in their crib trying to get out.
"I know but we're super fast parents so we don't need to premeditate about it," Stefan said keeping his eyes closed.
"Hey!" Rebekah giggled as she felt his hands move down her body under the sheets. She turned around to face him. The next second he was on top of her kissing down her neck.
"This is bad of us," Rebekah smiled.
"Is it?" Stefan smirked as he came up and fervently kissed her lips.
"Well, other than the fact that the entire house can hear us, not really," Rebekah said and then moaned as Stefan kissed her neck and went down her chest. He took one of her breast into his mouth and sucked on it and then did the same with the other. Rebekah moaned as his hands travelled further down. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door.
"We've had enough audio last night and we don't need more. Your kids awake and are in need of your attention," Kol shouted through the door.
Rebekah huffed and got out of bed followed by Stefan.
"I bet he purposely woke them up," Rebekah said as she put on her clothes.
"Now I can't wait for the Mikaelson house to be done," Stefan said. Rebekah smirked. She pecked Stefan on the lips and left through the door on her way to the nursery.
It had been two months since her mother returned and about a month and a half since Finn and Sage came back. Finn was still a little distance with everyone except for mother and he loved his nieces and nephews. Both were still trying to get used the idea of all of them living together. The Salvatore Boarding house was completely full. Damon would complain almost every day about having unwanted guest in the house.
Rebekah opened the door to the nursery and found the twins babbling and making noises. Anything they found went straight into their mouth. Arianna had her teddy's ear in her mouth and Aden was sitting up trying to bite the railing of the crib. Arianna got distracted when she saw her Mom walk towards her.
"Ma ma," Arianna said and continued to babble.
"Hello my angels. Seems like you two are very hungry!" Rebekah said as she picked up Arianna and walked over to Aden's crib. Aden stopped trying to bite the railing and smiled up at his Mom. He raised his arms also wanting to be picked up as well.
"Here, I'll get him," Stefan said as he picked up Aden. "They need a diaper change too."

Caroline woke to the sound of the Eliza crying. She dragged herself out of bed and towards the crib to pick up her daughter when she noticed someone was there before her.
"Go on sweetheart, go back to bed. I've got her," Klaus said. Caroline smiled as she watched Klaus walk around with Eliza in his arms trying to calm her down. She felt so happy and content just by the sight. She never expected Klaus, the hybrid who had done so many evil things, to be so gentle and caring. She knew it was still in him but now it was directed a different way. He would give his all to protect his family.
Caroline walked to the bed and laid down continuously watching Klaus walk around with their daughter and talking to her. This sight of him kind of turned her on. Klaus was wearing only pajama bottoms with Eliza in his arms.
'I want him so bad,' she thought. Klaus stopped walking around and looked at Caroline raising an eyebrow and smirking. Caroline smiled and turned around; sometimes they forgot that they were connected. It had been so long since they last had sex. These three babies had kept them so busy along with the whole Silas, veil and Mikael coming back. On top of all that, Esther, Bonnie and Tasha had advised not to move out of the Salvatore boarding house. This was because it was protected by powerful boundary spell and creating new ones on the now ready Mikaelson mansion wasn't an option because the witches needed to secure power to put up the veil.
Caroline closed her eyes and tried to go back to sleep. Soon she heard Eliza calm down and go back to sleep. She heard Klaus put her back into the crib. After a few seconds she felt familiar hands come around her waist.
"I think it's been too long," he whispered into her ear. Caroline smiled. She turned around and embraced him.
"Yes, it has," she said and then fervently kissed him. He kissed her back with the same passion and urgency.
Caroline felt like her body was on fire. His expert hands travelled down her body. Their tongues battled for dominance. Caroline moaned as she felt his hands on her breast. His lips travelled down her neck to her collarbone. She felt her breath hitch as she felt his hands travel up her leg towards her core.
"Nik!" Kol yelled through the door. Caroline's eyes flew open. Klaus rested his head on her shoulder and groaned.
"Nik! Get up! We have work to do," Kol said and left.
"I didn't know we had a fourth child," Caroline said. She started to get up when Klaus pinned her down again.
"Not yet love," he said.
"Nik, we have to get up. Kol's impatient and I don't want him to come again and wake up the kids," Caroline said.
"Just be ready at noon today, we have to go somewhere," Klaus said as he kissed her neck.
"Where?" Caroline asked.
"It's a surprise," he said as he kissed her shoulder.
"What about the kids?" Caroline said.
"Well, perhaps we can ask Bonnie, Tasha and Elena to babysit for a few hours," Klaus said.
"And Katherine too," Caroline added thoughtfully. Klaus grinded his teeth. He still didn't trust her.
"She's okay. I think Elijah's made her a better person," Caroline said.
"I'm still not comfortable leaving my kids with her," Klaus said.
"I don't think I'm ready to leave the kids alone with anyone," Caroline said.
"It'll be fine and it's only for a few hours. We'll be back in no time," Klaus said.
"Okay," Caroline said. Klaus kissed her on the lips and got out of bed. She was going to love this surprise.

It was eleven thirty and Caroline was thinking about to wear. Klaus hadn't said anything about where they were going. He would have said something or given her something to wear if it was a formal event, but he hadn't. Finally, Caroline decided to go with a white dress, denim jacket and her white heels. It felt good to wear heels again. During her pregnancy and after, she had not yet had the chance to dress up a bit and it felt satisfying to do so.
"Ready, love?" Klaus walked in through the door wearing a Henley shirt jean and black jacket. Caroline looked at him up and down. He was dressed casual so her attire was fine.
They walked down the stairs together where they saw Elena, Tasha and Bonnie holding one of the triplets.
"Okay, just call me if you need anything," Caroline fussed with Noah's sleeper. She had not been apart from them since they were born. It was hard for her to leave them behind.
"Or we can just ask Rebekah," Bonnie said.
"Yes, but..." Caroline started but was cut off by Klaus.
"They will be fine, love," Klaus said as he took her hand. "We'll be back soon." Caroline nodded and followed Klaus out the door.
Klaus held open the car door for her and she slipped in glancing back at her babies. He started to back the car out of the drive way and onto the main road.
"Now can you tell me where we are going?" Caroline asked. Klaus smirked and stopped the car on the side of the road. He pulled out a blindfold and tied it around Caroline's eyes.
"I told you love, it's a surprise," Klaus said.
"But…"
"Have a little patience sweetheart, it's not a long drive," Klaus said as he started to drive.
After what seemed like ten minutes Klaus parked the car and opened the passenger side door for Caroline. He took her hand and guided her down a path. Then he slowly opened her blindfold. Caroline slowly opened her eyes to find herself standing in front of a luxurious mansion. There was a wide concrete pathways leading up to the mansion and a grand water fountain right in front of the chestnut double doors. It looked like a castle from fairytales but it looked cozy, like home. On both sides of the pathway was a flower garden.
"Welcome home love," Klaus whispered in her ear. Caroline was awed. She had seen the Mikaelson mansion a long time ago when it was still under construction but never imagined it to turn out like this. It was even better than the first one.
"Home?" Caroline said. Klaus took her hand and led her towards the front door. Caroline looked around as they walked slowly towards the door. The house and the garden extended on both sides and it was a very private property, a place they could be themselves and raise their children.
They stopped in front of the main doors and Klaus handed her a key.
"Go on love," Klaus said. Caroline took the key from his hand and opened the door. She stepped into a bright front hall lined with tiles. In the centre was a round table with a vase full of flowers. Caroline looked up and saw the high ceiling with a gorgeous chandelier made of crystals.
"May I escort you on a tour of your new home?" Klaus asked as he extended his hand. Caroline took his hand while he took her to the next room on the main floor. They made their way through dining room, family room, Klaus's study and studio, Elijah's study, Finn's study and Kol's personal lounge area. He then led her into the kitchen and then another bar.
"Wow, it's so big," Caroline said.
"This is only part of the first floor," Klaus said. "Those rooms there are the guest rooms, library, and the pantry. There's more downstairs such as the home theatre, game room and so on."
"Do we even need all of these rooms?" Caroline said as he led her up the stairs.
"Well, it's for the whole family and Rebekah and Stefan will probably be over with the twins too. Our children will get everything," Klaus said.
"Well, I don't want them as spoiled brats," Caroline said.
"We can leave that to you," Klaus smirked.
"As long as you don't go behind my back and let them do something I've said 'no' to," Caroline said and smiled.
"I will always stand by your side love," Klaus said as he kissed the back of her hand he was holding.
Once they were upstairs, Caroline noticed that the upstairs was slit up into wings. Klaus started to lead her to the East wing.
"The North wing is Elijah's, Finn's is the South, Kol is the West and East is ours," Klaus said as they walked down a hallway. They stopped in front of a chestnut door with a silver handle. Klaus turned the handle and opened the door. Caroline couldn't believe her eyes. It was the nursery. It was a large room with three cribs in the centre. The customized wooden cribs had each of the triplet's names engraved upon the headboard. The first and the last ones had blue sheets and the middle one had pink sheets. There were two rocking chairs on one side and the other side had so many toys that it seemed like Klaus had bought the whole toy store. However, the best part was the walls. Klaus had painted them himself. On one side was a bright sun shining upon a waterfall from which a rainbow extended into the next wall which had a dazzling blue ocean and beach. As the water extended into the next wall, the sky grew darker and there was a forest. There the moon was shining brightly. This part seemed like it wasn't quite finished. Lastly, there was a large window with light pallet curtains.
"Well, what do you think?" Klaus asked unsure of what she was going to say.
"It's beyond beautiful. It's more than I ever expected!" Caroline said. "They will love it."
Klaus smiled as he watched Caroline smile. He wanted to make sure that she was always smiling like this. He took her hand and led her out of the room.
"We still have one more room to see," Klaus said. They walked down the hallway passing other rooms. Caroline looked a little confused as she passed them.
"Those are for the kids when they grow a little and need their own space," Klaus said. "I thought we could design them later when see what each of them like." Caroline nodded and smiled. They were at the end of the hallway and Klaus opened the final door. It was the largest bedroom Caroline had ever seen. There was a king size bed with white satin sheets. The fireplace had a fire already burning with two armchairs in front of it. On the wall were pictures of them and the triplets. There was a walk-in closet with mirror doors and a large dresser.
"Welcome to our room," Klaus said as put his hands around her waist from the back and rested his chin on her shoulder.
"This is amazing," Caroline said as she tried to take in their new room.
"I'm glad you like it," Klaus said.
"I love it," Caroline said.
"I was thinking we could inaugurate our new room today," Klaus said. Caroline whipped around and kissed him on the lips. They were finally alone and together without any disturbance.
Their lips moved in synchronization with such urgency and passion. His hands moved up her back pulling off her denim jacket and she did the same to him. He kissed her neck and then her shoulders and collarbone. Caroline swiftly pulled off his Henley shirt revealing his perfect built and she kissed him on his chest. He pulled her lips back to his exploring her mouth with his tongue. He pushed her against the wall as her legs wrapped around his torso. He reached to her back and undid the zipper rapidly pulling the dress off. He stood there breathless as he saw Caroline in her lacy white lingerie.
"Did you anticipate this?" Klaus whispered in her ear as he nibbled at it.
"No, I thought we could do something quick in the car on the way back," Caroline quickly responded and moaned as she felt him hold and massage her left breast. Klaus's desire peaked hearing her plans of seducing him in the car.
Klaus he turned around with her in his arms vamp sped to the bed. He gently placed her down and kissed her again. He pulled off her bra and took one of her breast into his mouth and caressing the other with his hand. Caroline moaned at the feeling of his tongue on her nipple. It had been too long since she had craved this. He took the other breast into his mouth and his hand moved slowly up her leg towards her heated core. She pulled him up and undid his jeans sliding them down and Klaus kicked off the rest. Klaus kissed down her chest and down her stomach. Caroline could feel his erection poking through his boxers. He slowly pulled off her lacy thong as she pulled off his boxers and he gently pushed into her.
Their bodies moved in perfect rhythm slowly. The paced started to increase and Klaus's fangs protruded. His eyes glowed yellow. The same happened to Caroline. As they reached their climax Klaus's fangs pierced into her neck and she bit into his. The feeling of reaching their climax and drinking each other's blood was euphoric; a never ending ecstasy.
Caroline felt herself weaken. Klaus was drinking her blood at a higher rate than she was drinking his. Suddenly, Klaus withdrew and fell back holding his head.
"Nik?" Caroline said but he didn't say anything. She turned towards him and saw him still firmly holding his head.
"Nik, are you okay?" she said as she held his face and leaned on top of him.
Klaus couldn't open his eyes as memories came pouring into his head. It was more painful than a witch repeatedly giving him an aneurism. Every memory of Caroline was crystal clear. Before, there were merely scenes with some words but now he felt that he had lived them all. He remembered Stefan and Rebekah's wedding, hanging out with Stefan and their football games in the field. The emptiness he had felt for a thousand years was gone. He finally opened his eyes as the last of the memories in which Caroline drank his blood and disappeared into thin air drifted into his head. There he saw Caroline's concerned but mesmerizing green eyes stare at him. All those memories he spent with Caroline came to him in great detail.
"Actually I feel great!" Klaus said as he spun them around so he was on top. He smirked and kissed her. Caroline was confused by this sudden events and emotions radiating from Klaus. She responded to his kiss trying to figure out what was going on. She slowly broke the kiss and looked at him.
"Are you sure you're okay?" she asked again.
"More than okay love," he said. That's when she saw recognition in his eyes that she had been waiting to see for so long. All these months he looked so down at the mention of something in the past, but now it was gone.
"You remember?" Caroline asked. He nodded.
"Everything and everyone?" Caroline confirmed. He nodded again.
"Oh my gosh! That's wonderful!" she kissed him again. "So does it feel?" she asked between kisses.
"Feels great except for one thing," Klaus said.
"What's that?" Caroline said with a concerned look.
"It feels like I've missed you for a thousand years," Klaus whispered. Caroline hugged him closely. She felt devastated those few days after she had returned from the past waiting for him to remember something. Anything; but now she can only imagine what he felt like living a thousand years without each other.
"But now, we'll never be apart," Caroline said. Klaus looked at her and smiled.
"You're right sweetheart, we will all be together," Klaus said and with that he kissed her passionately.
His hands travelled down her sides pulling every part of her close to him. His hands massaged her breast causing a moan to escape her lips. He kissed neck and shoulders down her chest. The passion was starting to ignite in a more powerful way. The pull between their bodies was so strong. Klaus moved up and kissed her where he had bitten her. His mark was still there.
"Is it still there?" Caroline asked knowing exactly what he was looking at and what he was thinking.
"Yes,"
"So is yours," she said as she traced her mark on him with her hand.
"It's a wolf thing love. We've marked each other," Klaus said. Started again where they had left off.
They lay there after coming down from their high. He was on top of her on his forearms. Her arms were armed around his neck as they made-out like long lost lovers; their mouths moving in whispers and tongues lazily dancing together.
"We should get going," Klaus said.
"Why?" Caroline pouted.
"As much as I would like to stay here and do this all over again, we do have responsibilities," he said. She nodded. He was referring to their kids. Just then his phone rang. Klaus got out of bed and picked up his phone.
"Nik! Where are you?" Kol said from the other end.
"What do you want Kol?" Klaus said with an annoyed tone of voice. "I told you Caroline and I were going out."
"Sorry to spoil your little date but we have a problem. Come home right away," Kol said before he put the phone down. He turned around to find Caroline already dressed. She had a worried look on her face.
"Don't worry love. I don't think it's the kids," Klaus said as he put on his clothes. They rushed out the doors to the car. Even though he was sure it wasn't the kids, there was still that underlying feeling of worry being a parent. Kol would have specified if it was about the triplets, but he didn't. Klaus sped the car back to the Salvatore house. Once they were parked in front, they sped into the house.
"Finally," Kol said as he saw them walk through the front door.
"What's going on?" Klaus asked. Everyone was seated at the dining room table. There was Esther seated beside one of the witches that were killed to complete the circle. Beside the witch were Bonnie and Tasha. Rebekah took the next seat and Stefan was right beside her followed by Damon. Finn sat right beside Esther with Sage standing behind his chair and beside him was Elijah. Kol was next and beside him was an empty chair.
"I'm going to check on the kids," Caroline said as she sped to their room.
"They are fine with Elena and Katherine," Kol said but Caroline took no heed. "Come join us Nik, there's some new information."
Klaus came and took his seat at the table.
"What's going on?" he asked again.
"Well there's some good news and some bad news," Esther said. "The good news is that all the witches have accumulated enough power to up the veil. The hunters are all here ready to complete their destiny by killing Silas."
"And the bad news?" Klaus asked.
"Tomorrow is the full moon, the day we can put up the veil but it seems as if Mikael had died at that very time. So whether or not Mikael will be able to come back is unknown," Elijah explained. Klaus grinded his teeth.
"The other bad news is that Silas has freed all the hybrids and is most likely building his army," Kol said.
"What?" Klaus said. They had tied them all up in the Lockwood cellar and had it magically ceiled.
"I know, he has a powerful witch on his side," Elijah said.
"Who is she? Find out and kill her," Klaus growled.
"We've tried but going near Silas means going blind for us witches," the witch said.
"That's doesn't really help. We need solutions," Caroline said as she walked in holding Zane followed by Elena and Katherine with the other two babies.
"How about we deal with our priority which is the full moon and putting up the veil," Stefan said.
"I agree with my son-in-law," Esther said.
"But what if Silas tries to stop us from putting up the veil by attacking us with this new army?" Kol said.
Everyone was quiet thinking about what Kol had just said. Leave it to him for suggesting the worst but they couldn't say he was wrong.
"Can the witches stop them?" Damon said.
"What are you suggesting?" Elijah said.
"Well we have more than a coven of witches why not use them?" Damon said.
"Use them?" the witch said enraged and she stood up ready to leave.
"Sorry he didn't mean it that way," Stefan said trying to calm the situation.
"Please don't take it personally, it seems like Mr. Salvatore here doesn't remember his manners," Esther said. Damon rolled his eyes.
"He does have a point," Rebekah said. "The coven can work on putting up the veil while the others focus on keeping Silas out."
Everyone seemed to agree with this suggestion. It was decided that the coven of witches will focus on putting up the veil while Esther, Bonnie and Tasha will keep out Silas and the hybrids. It was confirmed that once the veil was up the cure would be given to the hunters and they would take care of Silas.

Caroline and Rebekah were together with all the babies in Rebekah's room with Elena, Sage and Katherine. The atmosphere was intense. In about a half an hour they would find out whether the veil was put up successfully.
"I've never been so nervous in my whole life," Rebekah said. Caroline nodded as they looked at the five babies peacefully sleeping on the bed.
"I hope everything goes as planned," Caroline said.
"Don't worry Caroline, just stay positive. We will all do anything to protect these precious angels," Elena said. They all looked out the window at the moon which was rapidly reaching its apex.

The full coven of witches formed a circle right in the centre of the expression triangle. They linked hands and started to chant in Latin. In was in the underground cave right under the Mystic Falls high school. Bonnie, Tasha and Esther each stood at the three entrances of the cave. Along with Bonnie were Damon and Stefan. Kol and Finn stood with Tasha while Klaus and Elijah stood with Esther. It was agreed upon that the witches would hold off Silas while the vampires took care of the hybrids.
"Do you feel that?" Bonnie said loudly. She was referring to the intense mystical energy around her.
"The spirits, they are helping us," Esther said. "There is no way Silas will be able to get in here."
Suddenly, they heard quick footsteps moving towards them.
"Someone's coming and they are getting past the barriers," Elijah said. Everyone took stance vigilantly. A second later, at all three entrances stood numerous hybrids.
"Just because Silas can't come in to stop you guys, doesn't mean we can't," one of the hybrids said.
Please let me know what you thought by leaving a review. I would also like to know if you would like to see certain scenes in the family. Thanks!
