The boys opt to leave the dreaded vacation place early, but Carlos refuses to leave. He says he wants to stay with Jocelyn. Meanwhile, the father of Camille's son is finally revealed, and James panics he may not be as good a parent as Kendall is when the time comes so Kendall decides to pass on his skills.
"Carlos, are you sure about this?" Kendall asked, helping Logan to put everyone's bags into the car. Carlos nodded, putting his arm around Jocelyn. "She convinced me last night. And besides, I'm sure I can make things right." Carlos said. Kendall couldn't help but wonder why Carlos still wanted to be with Jocelyn after all she did, but he decided to let Carlos learn the hard way. Normally, Kendall would've offered to stay with Carlos. But Kendall hadn't seen his daughter in a while and he felt like he needed to. So Kendall and Logan finished packing (whilst James lounged in the front seat he called dibs on.) and then began to set off home, leaving Carlos behind.
LATER ON...
"Well, it sounds like you had an awesome vacation!" Camille exclaimed after Logan had finished telling her the story of what happened on the vacation. Then she slapped him. "That was for not calling me! I was worried sick!" then she kissed him. "And that was for coming back again." She told him before standing back up. "Now to teach you what it feels like to be left on your own, I'm leaving. Look after Cameron and Lily." She told him, slamming the door behind her without even mentioning where she was going. Logan rolled his eyes and decided to go find Cameron.
It didn't take Logan very long to find Cameron. The toddler was teaching Lily how to play building blocks. Logan thought this was really sweet, but he didn't have time to take this in before the phone randomly started ringing. Logan ran for it, but by the time he actually managed to get to it (it was up high out of reach of the kids) the phone had gone to voicemail. Logan set the phone down on the table and decided he might as well listen to the voice message. "Good afternoon Ms Roberts. This is the L.A Testing society here with the results for your DNA test carried out on your son Cameron. We have the results ready for you-" Logan interrupted the rest of the message by picking up the phone. "Hello? Hello? I can give Camille the results." Logan said, suddenly very interested in the results if they were for what he thought they were for.
Meanwhile…
Kendall literally left the room for a few minutes, and when he came back chaos had happened. He'd left Andi with James (Lucy had gone out for the day with Camille) and now Andi was lain on the couch, bawling her eyes out with James stood next to her, eyes closed, fingers in his ears, and yelling "MAKE IT STOP!" at the top of his voice. Kendall ran in, and as soon as he picked up his daughter she stopped crying and looked up at him. Kendall then ran to James and prised his hands off of his ears. James opened his eyes again and jumped when he saw Kendall stood next to him. "Did you get beaten up by a baby again?" Kendall asked James sarcastically. "No!" snapped James indignantly. "And for the record, the first time it was a toddler. Not a baby. But anyway, it started crying and wouldn't stop. I couldn't figure out why and every time I tried it just started crying even louder." James explained. Kendall looked at his daughter, now silently asleep in his arms. Then he looked back at James. "Ok first of all; she's my daughter, not 'it'. And second of all, not everyone is good at this straight away. It's not like you'll need to be a good parent for a while anyway." Kendall pointed out. James nodded. "Yeah but I'm good at everything! Why am I no good at this?" asked James. He then grabbed Kendall by the shirt and looked intently into his eyes. "You have to help me. You know…for future." James told Kendall, who then sighed and agreed.
Meanwhile…
Logan was taken aback with the shock of what the results really were for. THe man on the other end of the phone had told Logan that Camille had run a paternity test on Cameron and they now had the results ready. Logan was nervous to find out who really was the father, but there was just one problem; the doctor on the other end of the phone refused to give logan the results. The doctor said he would only reveal the results to Camille herself or one of the two people who consented to the test. Logan was sure he must be one of the options, but the doctor refused to give him the results anyway. So Logan had to get hte results through Camille somehow.
Logan had a plan to get those results, and this is where his brains come in handy. He created a fake message saying "this is doctor...Doctor. And I have the results for the DNA test ready for you to pick up. Come down to the centre and I will present them to you." Now the voice Logan used on that phone message wasn't exactly convincing. But when Camille returned home from an apparent girls day out with Lucy, she listened to the message and she bought it. She threw her bags down onto the floor, picked up her son, and went down to the clinic to get the results.
Logan knew if Camille was aware he was there, she wouldn't let him know the results. So Logan grabbed Lily (couldn't leave her alone) and climbed down the fire escape, before ducking next to Camille's car and waiting for her to make it down the stairs and unlock it. As soon as Logan heard the 'click' of the car doors unlocking, he gently pulled the door open and crept in, placing Lily on the seat and then sitting on the floor so as to not let Camille see him. He thought he'd actually gotten away with it until he closed the door again a little to fast and startled Lily, who then started crying. And just Logan's luck; Camille was sat in the front seat. Camille looked at Cameron with a confused expression, as if she assumed it was HIM crying, then she turned to the back seat and jumped as she saw Lily in the back seat. Logan then heard the sound of Camille getting out of the car and opening the door next to Lily. Camille picked up Lily and the baby immediatly stopped crying. Camille smiled at the baby. "how did you get in here? And did some big scary thing make you cry?" Camille asked the baby in a very irritatingly high pitched voice. Camille then gently placed Lily back into the seat. "now let's check there's no more scary things waiting for you." Camille suggested to the one year old. Camille sounded like she wasn't actually planning to find anything, but as soon as she started looking, she noticed Logan crouched behind the seat, smiling half heartedly to try to avoid getting into trouble.
MEANWHILE...
"Am I doing this right?" James yelled over the sound of Andi Crying as he held her upside down at an arm's length away from him. Kendall sighed and rolled his eyes before rescuing his daughter from James' inexperienced hands and turning her the right way up again. "you're closer than I thought you'd be." Kendall reassured him. "but try holding her like this." Kendall brought Andi closer to him and rested her with her head on his shoulder and he used one arm to support her bottom half and using his other hand to stop her falling out of his arms. Andi immediatly stopped crying. James looked at the way Kendall was holding Andi and was confused. "that's basically what I did." James insisted, folding his arms. Kendall rolled his eyes again. "You keep telling yourself that. Now you try. (And please try not to kill my daughter.)" Kendall said, handing the now smiling baby to James. She didn't start crying right away, but her smile faded as soon as she saw James. James himself just kind of held the baby at arms length and stared at her like she was about to attack him. Kendall looked blankly at James. "are you really being intimidated by a 2 month old baby?" Kendall asked in disbelief. James didn't respond, he just continued to stare at the baby. Eventually he did respond. "She has your terrifying eyebrows. And your creepy stare. it's really offputting. Like staring at you with a pink bow on your head." Kendall took Andi back off of James. Something told Kendall this was going to take longer than he had anticipated.
MEANWHILE...
Camille yanked open the door next to Logan before grabbing him by his ear and dragging him out of the car. "EXPLAIN!" she demanded, still not letting go of his ear. Logan tried to think of an excuse but his mind went blank. Eventually Logan just gave up and told her the truth. Camille rolled her eyes. "ok fine. I guess you have a right to come with me. You were one of the test subjects. If you would've just asked me in the first place I would have let you come with me... Eventually." she told him. Logan looked at the floor with embarassment. But then he realised something. "Wait a minute, you said I was one of the possibilities right?" Logan remembered. Camille nodded. "of course." "don't you have to get a blood sample or a sample from my mouth to do the test in the first place?" Logan pointed out. Camille darted her eyes suspisciously as she realised where this conversation was headed. "...are you coming with me or not?" she asked to change the subject, as she sat back in the driver's seat once more. Logan nodded then sat in the back seat again next to his daughter.
Soon enough, they were at the fertility and testing clinic. Camille went to the front desk. "hi, I'm Camille Roberts. I did a DNA test on my son Cameron recently and I was told I had to come down here to get the results. The woman behind the desk nodded and smiled. "right this way Ms Roberts." she told Camille. Logan went to follow Camille but the woman from behind the desk stopped him. "you can't go in there." the woman told Logan. Logan explained that he knew Camille and she wanted him to know the results as well. But the nurse still didn't let him in. "there's two people on this sheet. Are you the boyfriend or the ex boyfriend?" asked the nurse. Logan actually couldn't answer that as he was kind of both. So he just decided it was easier to wait outside whilst Camille and Cameron were in the room.
LATER ON...
It seemed like froever before Camille finally came back out of the room. She came out looking at Cameron as if to say "I don't know how he's your father, but he is." but as she walked past Logan, she didn't actually say anything. "well?" Logan asked Camille. "who's his father. Camille looked at Logan for a really long time, her eyes seemed to be guilty for some reason. But she didn't answer him. Instead she just got back intot he car in silence, and then waited for Logan to do the same.
MEANWHILE...
Kendall had been trying to teach James how to be a better parent for most of the day now and the only progress the two had made was that James was no longer intimidated by the baby. Kendall was busy thinking of new techniques to try out on James when the phone rang. Kendall wasn't exactly sure about leaving James alone with Andi, but Kendall left and answered the phonecall as quickly as possible. When he returned, Kendall was expecting to find chaos between James and Andi, but Kendall had never been more happy to be wrong in his life. Kendall walked in to find James sat on the couch with Andi in his arms. Andi was laughing and smiling up at James and hitting his lucky mirror, whilst James kept yelling and moving backwards. For the first time, Andi and James actually seemed to be getting along. Naturally Kendall had to know how. Kendall sat down next to James and stared at him in disbelief. "I did warn you that you can't teach parenthood. It comes naturally. How did you make her laugh? she never laughs!" Kendall found it incredibly hard to believe.
MOMENTS EARLIER...
When Kendall had left the room to answer a phonecall, James immediatly started to panic. This baby clearly hated him and the idea of being left alone with her scared him. James just sat there staring at the baby, waiting for her to plot her next move. The baby just sat there, staring up at James with those seemingly innocent eyes. Then the baby reached over to James and grabbed something out of his pocket. Within seconds, James realised what it was; she'd taken his mirror out of his pocket and was now looking at it as if confused by what it was for. James picked Andi and the mirror up, he then placed Andi onto his lap and leant down so he could see himself and the 2 month old in the mirror. Andi reached her hand up and hit the mirror randomly. James was worried she was going to break it so he yelped. At that point, Andi looked up at him and laughed a little bit, before doing it again. James yelped again and Andi laughed even harder. Eventually, James caught on to this. Every time Andi would hit the mirror, he'd yelp. Andi herself seemed to find this hysterically funny. And when her father finally returned into the room, he seemed just as surprised as James was that they were finally getting along.
