Hey Everyone! I know I'm late and I'm sorry but here is my next chapter. Thank you for your continuous support! It's my motivation to write this story. To tell you the truth, I'm losing interests in the show thanks to their continuous efforts to down play Klaroline. Anyways, I am glad we have our imaginations! Hope you enjoy this next chapter!
Mystic Falls
Katherine and Elijah look at the three little pups in front of them. They were the most adorable wolves they had ever seen. There was also something special about them that separated them from regular wolves. Even though these three were very young, their structures were broad. They were definitely stronger and faster.
"Zane, Eliza, Noah?" Elijah said. "They can turn into wolves?" The three little wolves gave a little bark. Elijah bent down keeping a hold onto Aden and Arianna, and smiled. He couldn't believe it. He was looking at Niklaus and Caroline's children, even though they were in their wolf forms. One was a light grey, which was just like Niklaus and the blond wolf was definitely a replica of Caroline and the white one was magnificent. It was as if his bright white fur glowed of wolf royalty.
"My three little angels!" Katherine cooed as she went over to them and picked all of them at once. All of them, one by one, touched their mouths to her cheek as if they were giving her a kiss. Katherine smiled; she was just glad that they knew of her.
"Why don't they change back?" Elijah said.
"They can't change back now Uncle 'lijah," Arianna said. "It would be inappropriate because they have no clothing. Grandmother, Grams and Aunt Bea would be ashamed." Elijah and Katherine smiled at their little accents.
"I see and where is your Grandmother, Grams and Aunt Bea?" Elijah said. Before they could answer, Katherine cut in.
"Elijah, I don't think we should be talking about this here," Katherine said. "We don't know who could be around." Elijah nodded.
"How about we go find a place we can stay for the night and then you can tell us everything," Elijah said. The twins nodded and the pups gave a small howl in agreement. They walked through the woods with Elijah carrying the twins and Katherine carrying all three wolves. She just couldn't put them down.
Once they were near the edge of the forest, Elijah waited with the kids while Katherine went to the department store grab a few necessities.
Katherine went up to a local who was walking by and compelled her to give up her sunglasses and hat. She put them on and made her way to the department store. Last thing Katherine wanted right now was to be noticed or worst, called Elena. After what seemed like an hour, she came back with many pairs of clothing for boys and girls, pajamas and shoes. Katherine made sure to get Elijah and her some clothing as well. Lastly, she brought two large luggage bags.
"Why did you bring the luggage bags?" Elijah said as he looked at the clothes she got him.
"Well, I thought we could sign in at a hotel and for that we need to look like we travelled here. Elijah, don't make a face. I know you don't wear suits from the department store so I didn't get you any. It's just pajamas and some basic necessities." Katherine said. "Okay you three, change back and put on some clothes."
The three wolves just stood there and looked around the forest with a squirmy look on their faces.
"What is it angels? Do you not like the clothes?" Katherine said.
"No, I think it's just that they are dirty. They need to take a shower first," Aden said.
"Let's make our way to the hotel, Katarina. They can change there," Elijah said.
"Okay but what's our reason for having three wolf pups?" Katherine said. Both of them looked at the three pups and then at the large luggage bags.
"I guess we can put them in there, keep a little bit open for air," Elijah said.
"Elijah! We can't put them in there! They are kids!" Katherine said. "I thought you were the more sensible one from the two of us."
"I think it will be okay Aunt Katherine," Arianna said. "It won't be for long."
The seven of them made their way to the largest hotel in Mystic Falls. Once they were near the hotel, they quickly put Zane, Eliza and Noah into the luggage bag, and kept a little gap open for air. Elijah went up to the concierge to ask for a suite while Katherine and the kids took a seat in the lounge. Katherine opened the zipper a little wider.
"Don't poke your heads out yet, but just a little longer. Your Uncle Elijah is almost done," Katherine whispered. Soon Elijah came to them with hotel room keys. He handed one key to Katherine, picked up Aden and Arianna and started to walk towards the elevators. Katherine quietly followed gently pulling the two large suitcases.
"You know we can walk Uncle 'lijah," Arianna said.
"I know, but I haven't seen you for so long and would rather carry you," Elijah said and smiled. They walked in the elevator and waited to reach the ninth floor suite. Once they got to their suite, they all quickly rushed inside and closed the door. Katherine quickly opened the bags and the three little pups jumped out.
"Alright three of you, let's get you cleaned up. Get going to the bathroom," Katherine said as she grabbed their clothes and followed them.
Elijah put Aden and Arianna down and took off his coat. He rolled up the sleeves of his white Armani shirt and turned to the twins.
"Okay, why don't you two sit on the bed and watch some television while I help your Aunt with the other three," Elijah said. The twins smiled and obliged.
Elijah walked into the large bathroom. It comprised of a large bathtub and a walk-in shower. A young boy with sandy blonde hair was already in the shower washing his hair. There was a young girl with blonde hair sitting in the bathtub while Katherine helped her scrub her feet. Elijah continued to look at the both of them one after another. He couldn't believe his eyes. They had grown up so much from the last time he had seen them. They were beautiful! Suddenly, he remembered that there were actually three of them. Where was the last one? He looked back to find a young boy with slightly long, curly, light brown hair. He sat on the side bench with muddy hands and feet and a towel wrapped around his waist waiting for his turn to clean up. He looked just like Henrik. Elijah walked towards him and sat down on the bench beside Noah.
"Hello Uncle Elijah," Noah said.
"Noah," Elijah said as he gave him a hug. "It's so good to finally see you." Noah smiled at his Uncle.
"I agree, we have been hearing stories about you all for a while now from Grandmother, Grams and Aunt Bea," Noah said. Elijah was impressed. Noah spoke so eloquently.
"Really and where are your Grandmother, Grams and Aunt Bea?" Elijah said. Noah looked sad and guilty. He looked down.
"We left Grams and Grandmother without telling them at the Virginia airport," Noah confessed. "We don't know where they are now."
"Why did you leave them?" Elijah said.
"We wanted to find our parents. Do you know where they are, Uncle Elijah?" Noah said with look of hope in his eyes.
"No, but we will find them," Elijah said as he pulled him close.
Finally, Zane walked out of the shower.
"You can go in Noah," Zane said as he walked to his clothes.
Once all the children had taken a shower and changed, they gathered in the eating area. Elijah had made sure to order pizza for dinner. Later, they all sat around the dining table eating their dessert.
"So where have you been living for all these years?" Elijah said.
"We lived in Scotland," Aden answered.
"Where are Esther, Sheriff Forbes and Bonnie?" Katherine said. The kids looked at her as if they were confused.
"Who are Esther and Sheriff Forbes?" Eliza said.
"And Bonnie?" Arianna said.
"Your Grandmother, Grams and Aunt Bea," Elijah said.
"But Grandmother's name is Ellen, Gram's name is Lorene and Aunt Bea is short for Beatrice," Zane said. It was Elijah and Katherine's turn to look confused but then they understood. They must have changed their names for security reasons.
"Noah had mentioned that you left them at the Virginia airport," Elijah said.
"Only Grandmother and Grams," Zane said.
"Where's Bonnie, I mean your Aunt Bea," Katherine said.
"She had to go to Miami," Eliza said.
"Miami?" Katherine said.
"Yes, she said that she had some work there," Zane said.
"Uncle Elijah, do you know our parents are?" Aden said.
"At this point, your Aunt and I only have an idea where they might be," Elijah said. "But there is a lot to consider."
"Now that everyone is finished dessert, let's go brush our teeth," Katherine said.
Soon everyone got ready for bed. The children were thrilled to see how strong their Uncle and Aunt were when they picked up king size beds. They put the two king size beds together starting with Katherine on the outer left, then Eliza, Arianna, Noah, Zane, Aden and Elijah at the end.
"Uncle Elijah, can you tell us a story about our parents?" Aden asked.
"Sure, let me see. Do you know how they met?" Elijah said.
"Yes," they all said together.
"How about this, you tell me what you know and that way I don't repeat anything," Elijah said.
Aden started off the story with how his dad and Aunt Caroline went back in time and met his mom and Uncle Nik. The kids had fallen asleep before they finished the whole story. Katherine and Elijah watched the kids sleep and smiled at each other. They never thought they would ever have this time to spend with these kids they love. Suddenly, Elijah motioned Katherine to listen. They could hear someone walking off the elevator towards their room. Elijah swiftly got up from the bed and zoomed to the door. Katherine decided to stay with the kids just in case there was some kind of danger. There was a knock on the door. Elijah peaked through the hole in the door and couldn't believe his eyes. He immediately opened the door.
"Mother," Elijah said as he opened the door.
"Elijah, thank goodness. Are they here?" Esther said as she walked into the room followed by Liz.
"Yes, they are mother," Elijah said. Esther and Liz walked into the bed room and saw all five sleeping in bed. She exhaled a held breath and walked out into the sitting area.
"Oh thank goodness," Liz said.
"Elijah, it's so good to see you," Esther said as she touched his face. "Katherine," she greeted. Katherine nodded.
"How did you know they were here?" Katherine said.
"Location spell," Liz answered. "We were so worried. They had never done anything like that before."
"They wanted to see their parents," Katherine said.
"I didn't realize that their desire to see their parents had gone to such an extent," Liz said. "I should have noticed."
"Don't worry Liz, I didn't realize it either," Esther said. "But before we go on, we need to do a privacy spell. We can never be too careful," Esther said.
She pulled out a sage from her bag and lit it. She then chanted a spell in Latin.
"We should call Bonnie and let her know that we found Elijah and Katherine," Liz said. "And see if we can get any update from Kol."
"Wait. Bonnie and Kol are together?" Elijah said.
"Yes, they are on their way to look for Klaus and Caroline," Esther said.
She started to explain to them how Bonnie had done a spell to find all of them. She went to Miami and found Kol there. They also explained that Mikael and Silas were in England and Scotland wasn't very far. They didn't want Mikael or Silas anywhere near the kids.
"So where are Kol and Bonnie?" Katherine asked.
"I believe they are in New Orleans," Esther said. "Apparently, Mikael had hid you all in places that were most dear to you."
"Interesting," Elijah said.
"So how did you find the kids?" Liz said.
"Well, after we finally escaped from the coffin we were trapped in. Thanks to the nosy humans. We were in the forest thinking of what we should do next. I mean we realized that it had been seven years and we had no idea where anyone was. A day later, we heard them running towards us in inhuman speed. We were confused and thought that the hybrid had realized we escaped. So I hid and Elijah took stand. We wanted to take him by surprise. But then Aden and Arianna ran into him," Katherine said. "And as soon as they said Uncle Elijah we realized who they were."
"Soon after Zane, Eliza and Noah came out of the trees from around in their wolf forms," Elijah said. "I was shocked to see such young ones transform so early in life. Who did they kill? I mean, it's so much pain to go through at such a young age."
Esther smiled at his worry for his niece and nephew.
"Elijah, they don't feel any pain when they switch forms," Esther said. "It's natural to them. In fact they love it and they feel the most powerful in it."
"You mean they can go back and forth as much as they like without the moon or pain?" Elijah asked.
"Yes," Esther smiled.
"Phenomenal," Elijah said.
"I know," Esther said.
"I believe it's time we get rid of Mikael once and for all," Elijah said.
"I agree and once we find the rest, we'll deal with him," Esther said.

New Orleans
Marcel and all his vampires surrounded Kol and Bonnie as Bonnie prepared to do the locator spell. She laid out a map of New Orleans, took Kol's hand and cut through it with a knife. Kol's blood dripped onto the map. Bonnie held his hand and began to chant in Latin. The blood on the map started to move and Bonnie continued to chant. Finally, the blood stopped in one place.
"Where did it stop?" Marcel said. Bonnie opened her eyes to look.
"Right there," Kol pointed out. Bonnie rolled her eyes.
"Kol please," Bonnie said.
"It's the cemetery," Marcel said. "That's the witches' cemetery."
"Klaus and Caroline are there," Kol said. "We should make our way there." Kol started towards the door.
"Hold up Mikaelson," Marcel said as he stepped in front of them.
"Get out of my way Marcellus," Kol said.
"Kol just listen for a moment. We need to take all precautions. Remember the hybrids," Bonnie said.
"What is it?" Kol said.
"That cemetery is where the witches are most powerful. Even if I have banned them from doing magic here, there's no telling what could happen if we go into the cemetery," Marcel said.
"That shouldn't be a problem. Bonnie's a witch, she could take care of them," Kol said.
"That won't be enough. Your wife may be a powerful witch but with ancestral magic, these witches are the most powerful witches in the world," Marcel said.
"Why would Mikael choose this cemetery for Klaus and Caroline? I mean it's obvious that the witches are helping him. But the question is why?" Bonnie said.
"They must be promised something in return," Kol said. This catches Marcel's attentions.
"If the witches are promised something, it must be linked to their freedom to do magic. If Mikael promised them freedom, then that means he has plans to over throw me," Marcel said.
"I really don't care whether you are overthrown or not. We have to get Nik and Caroline out of there," Kol said.
"I have a plan. I'll call a meeting with the witches to discuss their freedom to do magic. I'll say that everyone must attend," Marcel said. "They will definitely come."
"Okay, in that time me and Kol will sneak into the cemetery and try to find Caroline and Klaus," Bonnie said.
"You won't be enough," Marcel said.
"Excuse me," Bonnie said.
"No offense, but I think you should take Davina with you," Marcel said. "She's a very powerful witch."
"Okay, then it's set," Kol said. "Call this meeting now. We don't have time to waste."
Marcel walked off with his day walkers to arrange for the meeting. They had to get the word out the witches.
After a moment, Bonnie's phone rings.
"Hello," Bonnie said.
"Bonnie, it's me," Esther said.
"Esther, is everything okay? I mean you're calling me Bonnie," Bonnie said.
"Yes, everything is fine so far. We're in Mystic Falls right now and found Elijah and Katherine," Esther said. Bonnie smiled.
"That's great news Esther! How are the kids doing?" Bonnie asked.
"They are sleeping," Esther said. "They have had quite an adventure. I'll explain later. Any news?"
"Yes, we know where Klaus and Caroline are and we have a plan to free them," Bonnie said.
"That's great news. Call me once you have freed them. I assume my new number is on your phone," Esther said.
"Yes, we'll talk soon," Bonnie said.
"Good luck," Esther said and hung up.
"They found Elijah and Katherine?" Kol said. He had heard the whole conversation.
"Yes!" Bonnie said as she hugged him. "Once we find Care and Klaus, we can look for Rebekah and Stefan."
"We will," Kol said as he hugged her back. Soon Bonnie realized that she was hugging him and she slowly let go. She shyly looked up into his eyes.
"Everything is ready to go. Diego will drive you, Bonnie and Davina to the cemetery," Marcel said.
"Excellent, let's go," Kol said.

Mystic Falls
Noah was the first to wake up. He crawled off from the centre of the bed. He quickly went to the bathroom and then went to find his Aunt and Uncle. He was so hungry and he missed his Grams, Grandmother and Aunt Bea. He walked out into the sitting area to find his Grams, Grandmother, Aunt Katherine and Uncle Elijah sitting at the table having breakfast.
"Grams! Grandmother!" Noah said out loud. Liz and Esther smiled at him as he ran towards them. He jumped into Liz's lap and hugged her and then into Esther's lap.
"Don't you ever do that again," Liz scolded.
"We promise," Noah said. Noah smiled widely and his eyes sparkled with joy.
"Are you hungry?" Liz said. Noah nodded. He got off Esther's lap and pull out a chair for himself.
"What would you like for breakfast, Angel?" Katherine asked.
"French toast would be lovely," Noah said.
"I'll order that right now," Katherine said. "You can help yourself to any else while we wait for it to come up."
"May I have a biscuit from your plate Grams?" Noah asked.
"Sure, go ahead," Liz said.
"Thank you Grams," Noah said.
The rest of the kids woke up and came into the sitting room. They greeted their Grams and Grandmother and like Noah were overly joyful to see them. They promised to never do that again. Once they ate their French toasts and waffles, all the kids went to take showers.
"Mother, I was thinking that since Bonnie and Kol are so close to finding Niklaus and Caroline, we should head down to New York to find Rebekah and Stefan," Elijah said.
"I agree," Katherine said. "It won't be long before Mikael finds out because he's hybrids aren't answering."
"That's a very valid point however; I believe it would be better to wait for Bonnie and Kol to get Niklaus and Caroline out of New Orleans. I know for a fact that New Orleans witches use ancestral magic which is very powerful. We need to know where we stand before we jump to conclusions," Esther said.
"Okay mother, what..." before Elijah could finish Zane came back into the room.
"Zane, why haven't you washed up yet?" Liz said.
"There's a line up and I need to tell you something," Zane said.
"Go ahead sweetheart, what is it?" Esther said.
"Yesterday when we were looking through that big house, man came there. He helped us get away from the bad guy but I don't know what happened to him" Zane said sadly.
"Do you know his name?" Elijah said.
"Um, oh yes, he said his name was Matt, Matt Donovan," Zane said.
"Matty helped you guys yesterday?" Katherine said.
"Matt Donovan?" Liz said.
"Yes, that's his name," Zane said.
"Thanks for letting us know," Liz said. "Why don't you go take a shower? I think someone should be out now." Zane nodded and left.
"Matt Donovan helped them and that means he knew who they were," Elijah said.
"I think we should find Matt, he might know more about what's going on in town," Katherine said.
"Yes, but Zane said he doesn't know what happened to him," Liz said.
"There's only one way to find out," Esther said. "Lorene, I mean Liz, why don't we visit this young man?"
"Are you sure?" Liz said.
"It's the only way," Esther said.
"We'll come along Mother, just in case there's some trouble," Elijah said. Esther nodded.
"Katarina, you must stay here with the kids," Elijah said.
"Sure," Katherine said with a smile on her face.
Elijah, Esther and Liz made their way to Matt's house. They didn't know what to expect. What if Matt had died? It had been seven years, Liz wasn't even sure if he lived in the same house. Elijah pulled up the rented car into Matt's drive way. Liz followed by Esther and Elijah walked up the pathway and rang the door bell.
The door was swiftly opened by a lady with golden beige skin, brown hair that was done into a French braid and bright turquoise blue eyes. She was holding a baby in her hands.
"Tasha?" Elijah said. She smiled.
"Elijah, Esther, Liz! Oh my goodness! You all are alive!" Tasha said as she hugged them one after another. "Please come in!"
Elijah, Esther and Liz walked into the house. It was way better organized than when Matt was living alone.
"Matt!" Tasha called. Matt quickly rushed in with a gun pointing at them. Then when he saw who it was he quickly lowered it.
"Liz, Elijah, Esther! You guys are here!" Matt said and smiled. Liz went and hugged him.
"It's so good to see you Matt," Liz said.
"You too Liz!" Matt said. Then he looked at all of them. "Wait, the kids! Is everyone else back too?"
"No not quite," Esther said. "But they will be. Also, I would like to thank you for helping our grandchildren yesterday." They all took a seat in the living room.
"It was nothing. Once I realized that they were Caroline's and Rebekah's kids I knew something was up. They were looking for their parents. I tried to stop the hybrid but he snapped my neck, but thanks to this Gilbert ring. I thought that the hybrid would come looking for me and that's why I've been on the guard," Matt said as he looked at his gun.
"The hybrid will no longer be a problem. Katarina and I have taken care of that," Elijah said. He then turned to Tasha. "Sorry Tasha, I'm still surprised to see you alive. I mean we all saw your mangled body fall from the stairs."
"No it's fine Elijah. I'm glad you all are okay too. Basically, the night of that battle, Bonnie and I put a protection spell on each other and Esther because we knew that physically we were no match for them," Tasha said as she rocked the baby in her hands.
"That night, I came looking for you guys," Matt said. "But the house was practically destroyed and only Tasha lay there. I noticed that her skin was healing and her heart was still beating. I took her home where she woke up and told me what had happened. The hybrids lit the Salvatore house on fire later than night."
"I'm happy that you're okay," Elijah said. Tasha smiled.
"I see you guys got married and who's this little one," Liz said as she smiled at them.
"Yes, this is our daughter, Ella," Matt said.
"Can I hold her?" Liz said. Tasha put Ella into Liz's hands. "Oh she's beautiful!"
Ella had her father's bright blue eyes, her mother's brown hair and her skin was a perfect balance of Tasha's golden beige and Matt's pale white.
"So where are the kids?" Matt said.
"They are at the hotel with Katarina," Elijah said.
"Why don't you all come and live here," Matt said.
"Yes," Tasha agreed. "And it will be safer."
Esther and Liz agreed and Elijah went back to the hotel to get Katherine and the kids.

New Orleans
As all the super naturals started to assemble into the courtyard, Bonnie, Kol, Davina and Diego left through the back door. Diego drove them to the cemetery.
"So you're supposedly Marcel's strongest witch?" Kol said as he looked at Davina.
"Do you want me to prove it?" Davina said.
"No, that won't be necessary," Bonnie said. "Kol!"
"I was only curious love," Kol said.
"By the way, I have a question for you!" Davina said. "How did an original sadistic vampire like yourself, marry a brilliant witch like her?"
Bonnie just looked at Kol like she was telling him off in her brain.
"Well sweetheart, it's called love," Kol smirked. Bonnie rolled her eyes.
"Okay and when did you fall in love?" Davina asked.
"A long time ago," Kol said as he looked at Bonnie. Bonnie stared back at him. What did he mean a long time ago?
"How long?" Davina asked.
"Wow do you want all the details?" Kol said with a mischievous smile playing on his lips.
"No," Bonnie said knowing he would make up anything.
"Yes," Davina said and then looked at Bonnie.
"Well, I met her seven years ago and instantly fell for her. See, I always had a thing for witches but she was actually seeing someone else," Kol said. Bonnie looked at him with a confused look.
"Then?" Davina said.
"Well, we met again and I just couldn't resist but to make her mine," Kol said as he continued to look at her.
"Okay, but you're going to live forever and she's wont," Davina said.
"I know, but I wouldn't force her to turn for me," Kol said. "Then leave with her."
"You would die with me?" Bonnie said.
"I would," Kol said. Bonnie had tears at the rim of her eyes.
"I could always take herbs," Bonnie looked at Davina.
"You would stay for him?" Davina said.
"I would and when the time came, I'd turn for him," Bonnie said as she smiled at Kol. Kol reached out and held her hand.
The rest of the drive went by smoothly without Davina insistently asking questions. Finally they stopped in front of the cemetery. They all got out of the car and into the cemetery.
"Do you have the blood bags?" Kol said.
"Yes, do you think five each will be enough?" Bonnie said.
"It should be enough for now. Just stay close," Kol said. Bonnie nodded. "Okay, where could they be?"
"We can do another locator spell," Bonnie said.
"That won't be necessary," Davina said. "Those beasts are in the left corner of the cemetery."
"How do you know?" Bonnie said.
"I can sense them," Davina said.
"Okay, let's go. Davina and I will bring down the hybrids and you pull out their hearts," Bonnie said to Kol. Kol nodded in agreement.
Bonnie and Davina walked in to the cemetery chanting in Latin. Suddenly, the winds started to blow strongly. The two hybrids came and stood in front them.
"You are not allowed here," one of the hybrids said but right then Davina and Bonnie sent them both onto their knees writhing in pain. Kol sped to them when he was knocked onto his back by another hybrid. There were three hybrids at the cemetery. Kol and the hybrid consequently throwing punches at each other as Bonnie and Davina held the other two.
"Do you think you can hold both down?" Bonnie said to Davina. Davina nodded. Right when Bonnie switched to the hybrid that was fighting Kol; Kol pulled his heart out. He threw the body aside and went to the other two hybrids and did the same.
"Well that was fun," Kol said. He was covered top to bottom in hybrid blood. "It feels good to have revenge." He looked at the grey bodies of the hybrids and said, "that was for breaking our family apart seven years ago."
"Kol let's go get Caroline and Klaus," Bonnie said as she started to walk towards the left, far corner of the cemetery.
They came across large tomb. Kol quickly walked up to it and tried to open the door, but it didn't work.
"Why can't I go in?" Kol said.
"It's been spelled," Bonnie said. "Their ancestors are protecting it."
"That could be fixed," Davina said. She levitated one of the hybrid's bodies towards the tomb and dropped the body in front of the door. "Ancestor's I make an offering of blood of this beast. Please accept it and let us through."
Winds howled and the leaves swirled. Then the tomb door slowly opened. Kol and Bonnie rushed inside to find a large coffin placed on a table in the middle.
"Bonnie, give me the blood and leave," Kol said.
"But..." Bonnie started but was immediately cut off.
"No buts, now, please try to understand," Kol said. Bonnie nodded. She handed over the bag of blood and exited the tomb. Klaus and Caroline had been desiccating for seven years. They were bound to be really thirsty.
Once Bonnie was outside, Kol slowly opened the coffin door. There he saw two bodies that were partially desiccated. He recognized his brother and his fiancé. They were almost skin and bone. The pale skin was parched and their eyes closed. He looked at Caroline who looked even worse than Klaus. What did he expect? She was only a baby vampire turned hybrid. Their hands had red marks from the vervain and wolf bane dipped chains.f
"Nik? Caroline?" Kol said.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Klaus felt a sudden brightness upon his face. Someone had opened the coffin lid. It must be Mikael who probably came back from his unsuccessful hunt for their kids. He heard Caroline's voice in his mind.
"Is that Mikael? Do you think he found them?" said her scared voice.
"No love, they will be okay," Klaus responded. It can't be; they had to be safe. If anything happened to his kids, he would end every single one of them. No matter how long it took.
"Nik? Caroline?" said a familiar voice.
Kol, it was his brother.
"It's Kol!" Caroline said.
Klaus forced his eyes open and tried to focus them on a face looking down at him. Kol smirked.
"Nik, you two look bad. But I can help with that," Kol said. Kol took a bag of blood from the bag and poured some in Klaus's mouth. Klaus started to feel energized. He raised his hands and held the bag to his mouth. Kol took the opportunity to take out another bag of blood and poured it into Caroline's mouth. Soon her colour started to return. Kol quickly undid their chains and gave them another bag of blood which they quickly drained.
"How do you feel darling?" Kol said as he picked up Caroline out of the coffin. She was still pretty weak. He sat her down on a nearby ledge.
"Kol," Caroline said softly as she touched his face. She faintly smiled. Kol smiled. Klaus managed to climb out of the coffin and walked towards them.
"Brother," Kol said as he gave Klaus a hug. Klaus then sat down beside Caroline. Kol gave them the other bags which they quickly drowned. Klaus was almost at full strength but Caroline was still a bit weak.
"Okay, we have to leave quickly before the witches come back. Bonnie's waiting outside," Kol said.
"Bonnie's here?" Caroline said as she looked up at Kol. Kol nodded.
"But she was supposed to be with Mom and Esther. What about the kids?" Caroline said and started to panic.
"It's a long story. The kids are fine. We have to leave now," Kol said.
"Come on love, let's get out of here," Klaus said as he stood up and helped Caroline up.
They squinted as they stepped out of the tomb into the bright afternoon sunlight.
"Caroline!" Bonnie said as she ran towards her best friend.
"Bonnie!" Caroline said as she hugged her back.
"We can have this reunion on the road," Kol said. "Let's get out of New Orleans."
"Let's go," Klaus said as he held onto Caroline and walked towards the exit.
Kol told Diego to take Davina back to Marcel while everyone got into the car. Finally Kol got into the car and started to drive. They sped towards the highway to get out of New Orleans.
"Bonnie," Caroline said. Bonnie turned around in the front seat to look at Caroline. She smiled.
"Yes," Bonnie said.
"You look different," Caroline said. Bonnie and Kol laughed.
"I believe the word you're looking for is older," Bonnie said.
"Older?" Caroline said. Bonnie gives her a flat lipped smile.
"Caroline, there's a lot to take in here," Bonnie said.
"How long has it been?" Klaus cut in. Bonnie and Kol looked at each other trying to figure out whether they should tell them.
"It's been seven years," Bonnie said. Caroline gasped and covered her mouth. She leaned into Klaus as the reality sunk in and tears flowed down her cheeks. Klaus looked at Bonnie and Kol with wide eyes.
"This better not be a joke," Klaus said.
"I wish it was," Kol said. "But unfortunately, it's reality."
Caroline cried out loud as Bonnie tried to console her. Klaus looked out the window as he held onto Caroline tightly, water rimming his eyes.
"I can't believe that we missed seven years of our children's lives," Caroline sobbed.
"Care, they've missed you too," Bonnie said. "Every night they want to hear about their Mommy and Daddy."
"How did you find us?" Caroline said.
Bonnie started off with how two of the younger ones got hurt and how she had collected some blood that was left on the floor. She made sure to tell them that kids were okay. Bonnie continued with how there were many locations where the blood had travelled. She chose one and found Kol there and how Elijah and Katherine had managed to escape recently.
"Where are Bekah and Stefan?" Klaus said.
"We still need to find them," Kol said. "But we think we know where they are."
"Where's that?" Caroline said.
"New York," Bonnie said. Just then the phone rang.
"Hello," Bonnie said.
"Bonnie! How did it go?" Liz said.
"We got Caroline and Klaus," Bonnie said.
"Oh thank goodness!" Liz said.
"Yes, would you like to talk to her," Bonnie said.
"Yes," Liz said. Bonnie handed the phone over to Caroline.
"Mom?" Caroline said.
"Caroline, sweetie. Are you okay?" Liz's voice shook over the phone.
"Yes, how are you doing and the kids?" Caroline said trying not to cry.
"They are doing great," Liz said. Caroline could hear the kids bickering in the background. She wanted to know which voice belonged to her Zane, Eliza and Noah.
"Let's just say that they've had quite an adventure trying to look for their parents," Liz said. Caroline smiled. "Caroline, please let Bonnie know that we are moving to a more secure location and will call once we are settled. Also Elijah and Katherine are heading to New York now."
Before Caroline could ask where and why? Where her kid's in danger? Liz had hung up.
"Why didn't she let us talk to our children? What happened? Why are they moving to a more secure location?" Klaus said.
"We try to keep it brief on the phone," Bonnie said. "It's for the safety of the kids. Just in case we're found in a sticky situation, they can't compel too much out of us."
"But..." Klaus started.
"It's fine. I'd rather see them. Elijah and Katherine are heading to New York to find Bekah and Stefan," Caroline said.
"Perfect. We're going straight to Mystic Falls," Bonnie said. "If everything goes well, all of us should be in Mystic Falls at the same time."

Mystic Falls
Everyone walked into the Donavan house with their luggage. The five kids were immediately enticed by the little baby and wanted to play.
"Listen up children, we have some rules here," Esther said.
"Yes, Grandmother," the five chanted.
"You can play out in the backyard but you cannot change into wolves or go super fast unless..." Esther said.
"There is an emergency," they chanted.
"Very good!" Esther said as she smiled. "There might be a surprise for you tomorrow."
