'~ CHAPTER 20 ~'
~~~Back in the Overworld…~~~
Third Person's POV
"Husky!" SSundee calls out to his best friend from across the forest. His fishy friend looked like he was about to pass out any second, "I finally found you!"
"Hey…SSundee," Husky breathlessly replies, but manages a smile on his face, and he collapses on SSundee in a hug.
"Ok," SSundee stressfully says, struggling to hold up his friend, "Great to see you buddy." He then sets Husky up against a tree, and Husky leans his head back, "Have you seen CaptainSparklez?"
"Wow…guys…hey," said guy stutters, collapsing face first into the grass-covered ground.
"Great," SSundee forcefully breathes out, looking back and forth from Husky to Sparklez. Suddenly a grunt echoed through SSundee's ears, and his eyes land on a breathless Seto and Ryan,
"Seto, quickly close the portal!" he hears Ryan urge to Seto and the sorcerer jumps right into action and breaks the glow stone.
"Ok, we have to go find Husky, SSundee, and Sparklez now." Seto speaks next, both of them turning around their backs facing the broken glow stone frame.
"Guys! Over here!" SSundee shouts across the field, catching the two's attention, "What happened to you guys?" Seto and Ryan looked to each other before running and turning back to SSundee. And simultaneously they both said:
"We just found a new dimension."
~~~Nether~~~
"Why can't Notch just surrender to me?" Herobrine sighs, steadily walking back to his throne room, "Things would have turned out better…on my end."
"Dad!" a feminine voice captured Herobrine's attention, "What is going on out here? The corruption disrupted my power-mastering practicing."
"It's just a couple of stupid mortals, Fia," the nether god tells his daughter, "The thing was…they were from another dimension, a new dimension, another dimension available for conquering."
"How is this dimension like?" Fia asks, as her curious-thirsty mind wonders, "Is it anything like here?"
"I haven't been there," Fia's father turns on his heels back towards his throne, sitting upon it, "but by the sounds of it…it is exactly the opposite. That is why I have sent Skar and a few of his friends over to this new dimension just to put a hint of fear in its inhabitants before I come in to finish the task."
"Can I go out with Skar…and his crew? I'm sure they haven't gone too far," Fia requests, trying to catch an eye-to-eye contact with Herobrine. It's not something someone would want to do but being Herobrine's daughter has their perks.
"No, you cannot," was Herobrine's firm response, making sure he articulated every word so Fia wouldn't miss a syllable, "You are forbidden to leave the Nether, and, if someone catches you outside of this world, there is no telling what would happen to you."
"But Dad, I have become very good at mastering my powers, and-"
"None of that matters!" Herobrine furies, his eyes glowing that bright white, "You are known in every dimension, if this new one is anything like ours. And I won't let anything happen to you; just let my men do the work."
"But-"
"Enough, Fia!" Herobrine shouts, his breathing turning irregular for a moment, "Don't disobey me, or you'll never see what's coming from me."
Fia just sighed and muttered incoherent words under her breath. 'He never listens to me' Fia thought 'When will he ever listen…?' She dragged her feet back to her room, decorated with lava encased in glass frames. Glass was pretty much the only Overworld item she had, and Fia found it fascinating. Glow stone compared to lava and glass combined the latter won for the Nether princess. If only the Overworld and the nether would be like the glass and lava, working together and in harmony.
But that idea wouldn't work if she just stayed in this dimension…
~~~Across the Nether…~~~
"Who do those Minecraftians think they are?" Skar hisses, gathering a new batch of glow stone dust for a new frame, "Like we are that stupid to think that we would just leave them alone."
"How are we going to start the invasion, Skar?" Lavalox questions, raising an eye brow, as he stood next to Skar collecting glow stone from the same area as Skar.
"We have the power to do it; we just need to get out there and do it. Just make it seem like it's in our control," Skar calmly explains, continuing his task, "Beside, Herobrine is sending an aiding army to help us, and we have efficient nether powers. Nothing can stop us, Lavalox."
"But if we do get stopped, then-"
"Don't doubt me, Lavalox," Skar's voice tones down to a deeper one, "We will take over this dimension, one way or another."
"Skar, we need your glow stone gatherings!" Netherverse shouts over said leader. Skar then does as requested, and Lavalox and Skar give TrueNU the dust. It was quiet among the five, as TrueNU crafted the glow stone and put together the frame. BONJerome and BajanNethernian sat on the surrounding, propped up Netherrack, studying their weapons. SkartheDemonHB just stood a decent space away from where TrueNU worked with his arms crossed, as Lavalox sat sheepishly on the opposite side of the evil Benj and Bacca duo.
Lavalox suddenly felt a bit weird around Skar after that small but denting conversation. 'Could it have been my question?' Lavalox wonders 'Or was it the way I approached it…?'
"And we…are…in," TrueNU dramatically says, as he opens the portal with the flint n steel.
"So, what's the plan, Skar?" BajanNethernian asks, playing with the string on his fire aspect bow.
"Do we immediately strike fear into the citizens? Showing we have control or-"
"No, we will not do that," Skar stops BONJerome before anything else could be suggested, "We'll that the slightly slower…approach. We need to familiarize ourselves with this world's surroundings a bit more, this time focusing on the mortals' behavior. After about two to three hours of observing, Herobrine's top notch army should be here, and we'll rush it."
~~~West Side~~~
MinecraftUniverse's POV
"Oh, there you are Annabel!" Katz greets squeezing said girl, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks to MinecraftUniverse," Annabel nudges her head back to me. And suddenly all the pairs of eyes turn to me for a brief moment, "I'll skip out on dinner and head to bed.
"H…how are you not hungry?" Ray scoffs in response to Annabel. Katz just nudges Ray in the gut, and a small 'ow' escapes his lips as he turns to his sister.
"I'll be fine guys, good night," Annabel smiles our way before continuing her trip up the stairs. The three just watched as the girl took her time up the stairs and until she was out of sight.
"What happened out there, TrueMU?" Katz seriously asks yet filled with concern. All eyes landed on me again right as soon as the question arose.
"Come on, TrueMU; maybe we could corner those to crazy Minecraftians and catch them in the act and-"
"No," I finally blurt out, surprising not just them but myself as well, "I'm not sure if Annabel would want me to say anything…"
Annabel's POV
"Why wouldn't she want you to tell us something that could possibly save her life?" Katz asks MinecraftUniverse, I could only assume.
"I…don't know. But she must have her reasons, if she's hiding something," was his response, hinting a smile on my face, "I don't know who the Nether those two were, but I have the idea that that won't be the last time we'll be seeing them again. I-"
That was all I needed to hear, as I departed from the staircase and into my room. Closing said room's door, I sighed rethinking through today's events. Even though TrueMU is defending my secret, I can still tell he's curious himself. It's only a matter of time before he finds out what's really going on with me and the other girls.
"Hello," a voice sings through the only open window in my room. My head takes a sharp turn in the voice's direction and saw Captain Crazy sitting on my window sill like a monkey but a leg dangled over. And a flame burned in my eyes, as a warning sign to him.
"I guess you are stupid enough to come back," I spat in a softer volume than usual, "Where's your little friend? Too scared to come back unlike your daring soul?"
"No," he responds in a chilled tone, adjusting himself on the sill, "I am here to give you a-"
"I don't want anything." Captain Crazy sighs in irritation before continuing.
"I am here to offer you a choice," he finished in the same tone, sparking some interest…the bad kind of interest, "Herobrine has something cooking, and I need you, Annabel. Or I can take your boyfriend instead…"
"Pfft, he's not my 'boyfriend'."
"Oh, so in that case I can use him instead?"
"No," I shout in a whispered way, "…why are you needing me? Of all people?"
"Your agility can help a lot," Crazy thoughtfully replies, "But your powers are an extra." I took a look back at my closed door faintly hearing my friends' voices downstairs.
"If anything happens to them, I will show no mercy."
"Nice choice," were the last two words before I was knocked out.
