Chapter 35: To Find is to lose

Normal POV

Down in Pitch's lair, Hans was beaten down badly. Pitch was certainly not happy about his action. Hans tried to get back up but that attack severely damaged him.

"I'm very disappointed in you, Hans." Pitch said in low but irritated tone.

"It wasn't my fault!" Hans protested. I did what you told me to do. You said I could do as I please!"

"Yes I did." Pitch said. "I also said not to do anything that'll compromise everything."

"I didn't!"

"Oh really?" Pitch showed him an image of the Guardians showing Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff their pasts through their Tooth Boxes. "Because of your actions, the police were able to find evidence of your repeated actions! This was enough for the Arendelles to be suspicious!" He then uses his powers to push Hans hard against a wall. We hisses in pain. It's now evident that Hans was the first hooded man. The second hooded man stood with his arms crossed. "But… luckily for you, we're now at the final stages of our plans."

"W-We are?" Hans stared in disbelief.

"Yes." Pitch smiled. "I'll handle the final three pieces. When I take care of the first then you are all free to do as you please."

"T-That's great, my lord!" Hans stood up all excited. "Shall we take care of the rest?"

"That won't be necessary." Pitch responded. "I'll take care of the rest." He smiled manically.

Elsa POV

I sat on the couch in the Guardians apartment. Thinking about the past life I witnessed. Anna and Kristoff sat on another couch by the window. Anna lay her head against Kristoff's chest and Kristoff had his arm wrapped around her. I could tell those two were in love and they enjoyed each other's company. Seeing them like that made me fantasize me and Jack that way. But I didn't resist, I let my imaginations fly. But then I thought about Jack going to Heart. I hope he doesn't want to forget me again. I shuttered at the thought. But I remembered Bunny explaining how Jack became enraged with Heart's actions. Now I shutter at the thought of Jack doing anything reckless.

"Oh Jack. Please don't do anything reckless. I love you too much to let you go again."

Normal POV

Heart sat on his desk, looking over his patient's transcripts. Then he sees four of the Heart Jars glowing. He narrowed his eyes at the jars. But then he went wide-eyed with horror. He knew whose emotions they were. Jack, Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff's.

"Oh no." He mumbled to himself. He began to develop anxiety. "No. Please no! Jack can't fall in love!" Suddenly his window violently flung opened. Heart turned around fast to see none other than Jack himself. Glaring at Heart with so much hate and rage.

Jack POV

The hate! The rage! My blood was boiling. I was full of demanding questions, but I didn't know where to begin. I just continued to glare at him with all my hatred. Then finally I break the silence.

"You… You lied to me!" I hissed.

"Jack I…"

"YOU LIED TO ME!" I screamed. "I KNOW WHAT YOU PUT IN THOSE PILLS!

"W-What!?" Heart stared in shock. Seems like I struck a nerve.

"THIS!" I threw a bag on the floor near his feet. Inside the bag, spilling out was the red dust. Emitionite. "You used that stuff to make me forget my feelings towards Elsa!" Heart then sighed in defeat.

"Yes it's true." He murmured, though I can still hear him. "Back during the Italian Renaissance I developed Emotionite to help people with their emotional struggles. The Emotionite works in two ways. Positive and Negative. Positive helps amply the emotions to help someone have the strength to get through any bad day, or to give someone the courage to confess one's love for another. The negative however reduces and nulls those feelings. I use Emotionite for my arrows." He explained. I was angry at him for deceiving me. "Look Jack you have to understand, I was only trying to protect you."

"Protect me!? If I had a 100 bucks for every time I heard that one!" I argued. "I've been told that several times and yet that always FAILED!"

"I know! But I did this through the best of intentions!" He argued back.

"What best intensions!? To make me miserable again!? Alone again!?" I yelled. "Do you really hate me that much!?"

"NO!" Heart yelled back. "NO GODDAMN IT! I ONLY WANTED TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM HARM!" He was getting teary eyed. "Ever since we lost Nightlight I was determined to make sure no Guardian should ever fall in love with a human ever again! You have know idea the pain it caused me when Nightlight died!" Heart hissed as tears rolled his face.

"North already told me." I said. He looked up at me with tears still rolling down his face. "North already told me the story of what happened to Nightlight." I said calmly.

"H-He… He did?"

"Yes."

"Then why? Why risk your Guardianship as well as you life for something that never lasts?"

"Because it was my choice. Manny brought us back to have a second chance at our love life." I explained. "I can understand your intentions. But what I don't like is being lied to." I turn and leave from his office. "I'm going to spend my entire life with Elsa. Because I love her." But as I was about to leave and arrow shock next to the window frame. I quickly turned to see it was Heart with anger and fear in his eyes.

"No, Jack! You can't fall in love with her!" He begged. "You'll endanger everyone!"

"Heart what's gotten into you?" Stupid question. I could tell he's a paranoid wreck.

"It's clear that Elsa is a blight to the Guardians." He said with a venomous tone. THAT was going too far.

"What did you just say?" I hissed at him.

"If you will not listen to reason, then I'll FORCE YOU!" He shouted as he shot a black tipped arrow at me. But then North showed up. He got infront of me and sliced the arrow away.

"What the-!?" Heart gasped.

"Heart! Have you gone mad!?" North said.

"North! Get of the way!"

"No, I won't!"

"I have to save Jack! I have to cure him of his illness!"

"There's nothing to cure!" North then turned to me. "Go now Jack. Be with Elsa. Tell her you love her." I smiled at him.

"I will." I nodded and I flew off. I have to tell her. I remember the life I used to have. Manny gave us another chance to be together. I have tell Elsa how much she means to me.

Normal POV

North smiled as he saw Jack out of sight. But then he turned back to Heart and glared at him.

"Why North?" Heart demanded. "Why did you help him?"

"It's Jack's life." North answered. "He decides how he should live. It's not up to us to decided for him."

"His life will be in jeopardy!" Heart argued. "He needs to be cured!" North could see the fear in his eyes.

"Heart! You fear is what's blinding you!"

"No! It opened my eyes! Unlike Pitch who uses fear for pleasure!" He bitterly said. Then North noticed something in Heart's eyes. Then he figured it out Pitch was using him and Heart was unaware.

"Heart! You have to listen to me! The fear IS blinding you!"

"ENOGUH North!" He shouted. "If you won't listen to reason, then I'll have to force in you!" He fired a few arrows at North. But North blocked them. And so the two Guardians clashed.

Elsa POV

I continue to pray for Jack safety until I heard the wind flow fierce. Something in my gut told me what it was. I just had to see for myself. I got up from the couch and ran to the door.

"Elsa what's wrong?" Anna called. But I didn't answer. I just ran up the stairs to the roof. I heard the others following me, but I didn't pay attention to that.

We make it to the roof just in time to Jack flying and crash landing on the roof.

"Okay that one hurt!" He said. Then I saw me and fixed his posture. 'Elsa." He smiled at me.

"Jack." I smile back.

"Elsa… I resolved everything and…" He took both of my hands. "… and I want to be with you." My eyes went wide-eyed in awe. "I remember the life we used to have. The feelings I have for you. I… I guess what I want to say is…" He paused.

"Yes?"

"I… I love you." He said. I went wide-eyed in shock. Then tears rolled down my eyes. I smiled so widely. I've never been this happy in my entire life.

"Oh Jack." I sniffed and smiled. "You have no idea how happy this makes me." I cried so much tears. Jack held me in his arms and let me cried. The others were very happy too. We all then turned to see the sunset. It was beautiful. Me and Jack turned to face each other. Then we both started movie our heads closer to each other. I knew, he knew, we both knew what this feeling is. But…

Jack POV

"Now this seems very familiar." Said a familiar hissing voice. We all quickly looked around to see that it was Pitch. "Hmm where have I seen this before again?" He stood there sarcastically. "Oh yes I remember." He chuckled. "This little moment was just like 300 years ago back in Arendelle, Norway." I glared at Pitch as I stood in front of Elsa for protection.

"What do you want Pitch!" I hissed.

"I think the answer should be clear." He smirked. It took awhile, but then I turned to Elsa. And then it hit me. "That's right. I came to collect her." He pointed.

"Over my dead body!" I shouted at him.

"I believe that has been established 300 years ago. Twice in fact." He chuckled. "But not today." He snaps his fingers and black sand came out of nowhere and snatched Elsa. "Today, in chess, is where the pawns go first."

"ELSA!" I ran to save her, but the big black sand forced me back. I was evolving Nightmare. Geez, how much punishment can this thing take? The creature then took the form of a gargoyle.

"Pitch! Let her go, now!" Tooth yelled.

"I think that's the most useless and most rhetorical demand you can say." He smirked.

"Pitch! You sniveling bastard! Come here!" Bunny charged at him. But the Nightmare flung him away. I saw Elsa and she was scared. But then she tried using her powers to break free. But nothing was working.

"You might as well give up my dear." Pitch smirked. "It knows your powers all too well." He then let's out a small chuckle and then hops on the creatures back. "We'll meet again, my friends that much is true. But wait awhile because the show it about to start!" He laughed manically and flew off.

"JACK!" Elsa screamed.

"ELSA! HANG ON!" I shouted back. I flew straight to that Nightmare. But the force it's wingspan forced me back to the ground hard. I felt dizzy and I was losing consciousness. The last thing I saw and heard was my friends frantically saying my name, Elsa screaming my name in fear, and Pitch's maniacal laughter echoing. Finally my vision went black.

Chapter 35 is done. YES! Finally Jack confessed his love for Elsa! Now Jack and Elsa can live togeth-AW SHIT! WHY PITCH!? WHY!? They were having a romantic moment! Why did you have to jump in like that!? Read it, review it, and tell me what you people think. This is just here for people to enjoy. :)
