Hey Everyone! Thank you for continuously supporting me even though I haven't been such a consistent updater. At first I thought I should wait to post this but then I thought that I should give you something. Just to answer some questions, Rebekah and Stefan are staying in a guest bedroom at the Mikaelson mansion. Rebekah had moved out to be with Stefan before it was even built. I hope you enjoy this next chapter. :)

A few moments of silence passed as the adults watched the wolves dash on the lawn. Their moves were so elegant as if they were gliding around on the greenness. The kids quickly started a game of wolf tag and Esther slowly closed the door. As soon as the door closed, Klaus's face was right in front of her.

"What was that mother?" Klaus said angrily.

"How was that possible? What happened that they had to transform?" Caroline sobbed.

"Calm down, you two," Esther said as took a seat at the kitchen table.

"I want answers!" Klaus yelled.

"And you shall have them once you have calmed down," Esther said. She then looked at Rebekah and Stefan who were also a little startled, "I believe you two probably have questions as well."

Rebekah and Stefan quietly took a seat at the table. Caroline and Klaus sat down on the other side.

"Well, Stefan and Rebekah, you two probably put it together that the twins will have power and will tap into it at the age of nine. Am I right?" Esther said. Rebekah and Stefan nodded in agreement.

"But they are only seven," Rebekah said.

"They are, it's just that they had to grow up a little early without their parents," Esther said. "They tapped into it a little early."

"But that doesn't explain the triplets," Klaus said.

"Actually it does," Esther said. "They also transformed into wolves on their seventh birthday, Niklaus."

"Oh my gosh, my poor babies. I can't believe they have to go through so much pain at such a young age," Caroline said.

"Caroline dear, their transformation is pain free. It's natural to them and they love it!" Esther's eyes gleamed with pride.

"What?" Klaus said. He was thoroughly confused. "They can just phase in and out?" Esther nodded. "That's incredible," he whispered. The atmosphere in the room had dramatically taken a turn.

"I know," Caroline said. She was happy as long as her little ones weren't in pain. Klaus suddenly got out of his chair and opened the back door. He looked out into the yard at his three little wolves. They were so beautiful. His baby girl was just like Caroline, a gorgeous blonde wolf. From her posture, it could be told that she was wolf royalty. His first son was just like him, that pure grey shone in the sun. He was a little broad and they way he moved; there was no doubt of his lineage. Finally, his eyes landed on a bright white wolf with blue-green eyes. His fur was thick and brilliant. He was a little faster and stronger; he was a true alpha in all terms. He felt a hand on his shoulder and looked at the person whom it belonged to. Caroline smiled up at him.

"They are amazing," she whispered.

"They are; thank-you Caroline," Klaus said whole-heartedly as he took her hand and kissed the back of it. "Thank-you for such amazing and beautiful children." Caroline blushed.

"You're welcome," she said and chastely kissed his lips. "You know what, I kind of want to go out and play with them." Klaus smiled.

"I was thinking the same thing," he said.

"I think you two should transform here," Rebekah said. "I mean, you don't want them to see you in pain."

Caroline and Klaus nodded. She was right. The kids were so lucky they can shift in and out as they pleased without a hint of pain.

Rebekah and Stefan stepped. Before Stefan closed the door he said, "try not to break anything."

Klaus growled and Stefan let the door close. Esther had left them alone and made her way to the library. As much as these other matters were important, these parents definitely needed time with their children.

"Wait," Caroline said as she zoomed out of the room. Klaus heard her go upstairs to their room. Within seconds, she was back. Klaus looked at her confused.

"I went to open our room window. We can climb in later," Caroline said.

"Good idea, sweetheart," Klaus smiled. The last thing he wanted was to walk naked into the house in front his family. They quickly stripped started their transformation process. Within no time, there was a large light grey wolf and a blonde wolf standing by the back door. Klaus pushed the back door open with his head and both he and Caroline walked out. The kids came running up to them. The joy was evident on their faces. The three little came and went under their arms rubbing their heads against their chest.

They played in the back yard for what seemed like hours and hours. Soon the sun was about to go down.

"I think we should head inside for dinner," Rebekah said. Just then Liz opened the back door and stepped out with some towels in her hands.

"Dinner is almost ready," she called. Rebekah, Stefan, Aden and Arianna walked in. The three wolves went up to her. Caroline watched as her mother washed their paws and dried them off with a towel. Then they stepped into the house. Klaus nudged her to follow him which she did. Once they were outside their window, they both transformed back. Klaus walked towards her with that dark lustful look in his eyes as he took in her naked form.

"You know, I want to take you right here," he whispered into her ears. Caroline could sense a tingling feeling go down her spine as Klaus's fingers slid down her back.

"Nik," she looked into his blue eyes. He smirked.

"Well, you'll have to catch me first," she whispered as she leaped onto the balcony of her room. She looked down at him and blew a kiss. That's was Caroline. She was always going to make him work for it.

Once everyone was finished dinner, Klaus took everyone around for an official tour of the house. The kids were fascinated with the game room and the home theatre. They didn't want to leave until Caroline said that they were going to their rooms. Once they reached their wing, Caroline wished she hadn't mentioned anything about their rooms. They only had a nursery. The other three rooms were just plain rooms. She and Klaus had decided on decorating them depending on their likes.

"Well this was your room when you were babies but you will be getting these three rooms. You can even help decorate them the way you want them," Klaus said.

The kids cheered. They walked into the nursery and admired the mirage Klaus had painted.

"Daddy, why is this one kind of plain," Eliza said as she looked at the dark one with the moon.

"Well, I wasn't sure of what I wanted to paint there," Klaus said.

"Do you know now?" Zane asked.

"Yes," Klaus said. "Come on. Now that last room is mine and your mother's room,"

"Mum, Dad could we sleep with you today?" Noah asked.

"Sure sweetie," Caroline said as she held their hand and led them to the last room. Arianna and Aden went with their parents to the guest bedrooms.

The whole family had managed to fit on the large king size bed with Caroline on one side then Noah, Zane, Eliza and Klaus at the other end.

"Mom, can you and Dad tell us a story?" Zane asked.

"Sure sweetie, what would you like to hear today?" Caroline asked.

"About you guys, what happened after Aunt Bekah and Uncle Stefan's wedding and we were born?" Zane asked.

Caroline looked at Klaus who looked back at her. Klaus nodded affirming that they needed to tell them something. However, Caroline's eyes showed confusion. What were they going to tell them? She didn't want to trouble them with their worries.

"Daddy will tell you tonight's story," Caroline said as she looked at Klaus. All three kids turned around and faced Klaus.

Klaus looked at Caroline as he shot up one of his eyebrows. She had dumped everything on him but then he looked at the pairs of blue and green eyes looking up at him with hope.

"There are two villains who are after us, Silas and Mikael," Klaus started.

"I heard Grandmother talk about them to Grams before, who are they? Why are they after us?" Eliza asked.

"They are just bad people sweetie," Caroline said as she looked at Klaus. What were they supposed to say, that Mikael is like a step grandfather?

"One day we found out that they were going to attack us. So we prepared a battle plan and to keep you all safe, we sent you away with Grandmother, Grams and Aunt Bea," Klaus said.

"You sent us away to keep us safe?" Noah said.

"Yes," Caroline said as she put her arms around all three of them.

"Are they still out there?" Zane asked as he looked up at Klaus.

"Yes, they are and soon they will know that we are here. They will come for us again," Klaus said.

"You won't send us away again, will you?" Eliza said.

"No sweetheart. This time we are going to win this battle," Klaus said.

"Can we help?" Zane said with his eyes all lit up. "I mean we're older now." Klaus and Caroline laugh.

"We'll see, but I think they might get scared just by seeing you guys that they'll run away!" Caroline said. All the three kids laughed.

One by one they all drifted off to sleep. Caroline looked at Klaus, who looked back at her. She smiled at him. This moment was so special. She remembered back when they were just new born babies sleeping between them. Soon Caroline had also fallen asleep. Klaus quietly got out of bed and walked down the hall to the nursery. He looked at the incomplete wall with the full moon and forest. He knew exactly what to paint there now.

Rebekah had stepped into the bathroom to shower and get changed for bed. With Stefan, she usually wore one of her babydoll slips but she ended up naked anyway. However, with the kids there she opted for a t-shirt and full length pajama bottoms. She looked at herself in the mirror. It was strange; she never wore a plain t-shirt and full length pajama bottoms to sleep before. But in her thousand years, she never had to worry about her appearance in front of her own kids. Rebekah smiled to herself in the mirror. It was totally worth it. She had everything she had ever wanted; a loving husband and two beautiful children. Her attention was pulled away from the mirror as she heard the kids giggling in the room. She slowly opened the door and peeked in. She saw Stefan towering over the twins who were cuddled together in the center of the bed laughing hysterically as Stefan tickled them. She quietly sneaked into the room and jumped onto the bed.

"What have we here," Rebekah said as she started to tickle to twins too.

"We have two little monsters trying to run away from this sleeping ground, what should we do captain?" Stefan said as he smiled at Rebekah taking in her new sleeping attire.

"I think you have chosen an excellent strategy lieutenant, I say tickle away," Rebekah said.

The twins giggled even more as they rolled over from side to side. They looked at each other and smiled.

"Attack," twins chanted and started to tickle their parents back.

"Oh no! They are attacking us Captain! What should we do?" Stefan said with amusement as he laughed.

"I don't know!" Rebekah said as she played along. Soon Rebekah and Stefan were cuddled together as the twins sat on them and continued to tickle them.

"Okay, okay, we surrender!" Rebekah laughed as she put her hands up. Stefan did the same.

"Yay!" the twins cheered, gave each other a high five, and then got off their parents. Rebekah and Stefan moved to opposite ends of the king size bed so the twins can come into the middle. Soon the twins fall asleep as well as Stefan and Rebekah.

Caroline woke up the next morning to find three angelic faces in deep sleep. She looked to the end of the bed but it was empty. She wondered where Klaus was and looking at his spot, it seemed like he hadn't been there all night. Caroline slowly got up from the bed and covered up the triplets again. She tiptoed out of the room and into the hall. She heard movements in the nursery so she walked down the hall and opened the door. She saw Klaus standing there wearing only a pair of grey sweats. He had a paint tray in one hand and a brush in the other. He placed his brush on the wall and stroked away in precision. He noticed her presence and looked towards her.

"Morning, love," Klaus said as he smiled at her. Caroline walked towards him.

"Good morning. Have you been up all night?" Caroline said as she embraced him from behind and rested her head on his back.

"Just finishing something up," Klaus said as he put his brush down and held one of her hands that were resting on his chest. "What do you think?"

Caroline looked up at the wall and saw two big parent wolves standing side by side. One was a light grey and the other was a blonde. In front of the parent wolves were three cubs who were playing; one light grey, one blonde and one white. Caroline's eyes lit up. It was their family but in their wolf forms. It was beautiful.

"This is amazing!" Caroline said as she looked at every detail. Klaus placed the paint tray down and came to stand behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and slowly planted soft kisses on her exposed neck and shoulder.

"I'm glad you like it," Klaus said.

"Like it? I love it! And the kids will love it too! Nik, this is exquisite!" Caroline said. She then turned around and put her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. She wanted to show him how much she loved him for who he is; as her soul mate, as the father of her children, and just as a person…well hybrid. This big bad hybrid who claimed once that he was evil, is not who he truly is and that he was capable of love. This was one way he showed them how much he loved them.

Klaus was taken by surprise as Caroline's lips attacked his. It was as if she was pouring everything into this kiss showing how much she loved him. Her fingers knotted in his hair and his hands around her waist holding her there. He kissed her back with the same intensity and feeling. He could feel all her emotions pouring into him. They were mates and he couldn't be any happier.

They should there wrapped around each other as their mouth moved in synchronization and their tongues tangoed to a long lost love song. Caroline broke the kiss when she heard the door creak open. She and Klaus looked at the door to find three small heads peeping in with wide grins on their faces.

"Look what we have here," Caroline said as she let go of Klaus. The kids probably saw enough PDA for now. The kids walked in one by one.

"Good morning Mum. Good morning Dad," they said.

"Good morning," Caroline and Klaus said together.

"Look what Daddy did," Caroline said as she pointed at the wall.

"Wow! That looks amazing!" Zane said.

"It's us!" Noah said.

Eliza walked closer to the painting on the wall and raised her fingers about to touch it.

"Not yet, love. It's still wet. Let it dry," Klaus said as he took her hand and led her away from the painting toward the door. "Come, let's go have breakfast."

Everyone was downstairs in the kitchen having breakfast when Klaus's phone rang. He stepped out of the kitchen to get away from all the noise. His house had never been so vibrant before. Well not entirely, it had become lively once Caroline came however, now there were the kids too.

"'lijah," he greeted.

"Niklaus, I have found Finn and Sage. I'm sending them home as we go look for Damon and Elena."

"Well done, brother. I await your return," Klaus said as he hung up the phone. He turned around to find Caroline standing behind him.

"What happened?" she asked with a worried voice. She didn't hear the whole conversation. Klaus walked over to her and cupped her face into his palms.

"Nothing much love, Elijah and Katarina have found Sage and Finn. They have sent them home and are on their way to look for Damon and Elena," Klaus said. Caroline let out a breath of air she was holding. Everything felt as if it were on a verge of destruction. She felt that any moment could take her children away from her. Klaus saw this angst in her eyes. "Don't worry love, everything will be okay." Caroline nodded.

Mikael persistently continued to call all his hybrids but no one was picking up. What were these lazy idiots doing? He wondered.

"What happened?" Silas asked.

"None of the hybrids are picking up," Mikael said.

"I think something is wrong," Silas said.

"Why would you think that?" Mikael said. "There is no way they could ever get out."

"Something doesn't seem like it's in place. All the leads we have followed so far have been false," Silas said.

"What are you trying to say?" Mikael snarled.

"That you are trying to save your petty children and grandchildren," Silas smirked. Mikael shook in anger.

"How dare you! If I were trying to do that you would have known due to your capability of getting into my head!" Mikael retreated.

"Smart, observation," Silas smiled but then his smile vanished. "Something isn't right. Find out!"

"You can do the same," Mikael said.

"I think it's time we go back to Mystic Falls," Silas said.

"Why are we headed to Kentucky?" Kol said.

"Because that's where one of the hunters is," Bonnie said.

"Ah, I see," Kol said as he smirked at her.

They stopped in front of an average house with white picket fence. The garden looked amazing and contained many plants that witches loved. Which hunter could this be? Bonnie wondered as they walked down the pathway towards the door. Kol rang the door bell. Soon the door opened and a tall, broad shouldered, once young, Jeremy Gilbert stood there. Bonnie was lost for words.

"Ah young Gilbert. Well not so young anymore," Kol said.

"Bonnie? Kol? You're alive!" Jeremy said. Just then a young girl came running and hid behind Jeremy legs. She looked like she was around four years old. She had dark brown curly hair that bounced off her shoulders. Her grey eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Hide me, Scar's looking for me," she said. Jeremy picked her up and smiled at her.

"What did you do Lily?" Jeremy said as he tickled her tummy. Lily squirmed and laughed.

"Nothing Daddy. I only ate a cookie," Lily said and then turned to look at Kol and Bonnie. "Who are they Daddy?"

"Oh, that's Bonnie and Kol," Jeremy said. "Sorry, come in." Bonnie and Kol walked into the house. There was a comfortable looking living room with family photos everywhere. Then Bonnie's eyes caught a wedding photo and she stared at it.

"April and I got married," Jeremy said. Bonnie looked back at him.

"Sorry, I didn't…" she started when another girl ran in. She looked like she was four as well but her hair was a lighter brown like Jeremy's hair.

"Daddy, she ate my cookie," Scar said.

"Scar, you can have another cookie from the jar and Lily, no cookie tomorrow," Jeremy said. "Now, please be a little respectful of our guest here.

"Oops, sorry. I'm Scarlet Gilbert," Scar said as she looked at Bonnie and Kol.

"And I'm Lily Gilbert." Lily said.

"It's very nice to meet you Scarlet and Lily. I'm Bonnie and this is Kol," Bonnie said as she smiled.

"Great, now you two run along and play nice," Jeremy said.

"Yes, Daddy," they chanted and then ran off.

"Wow, you seem so different," Bonnie said.

"Becoming a father does that to you," Jeremy said. "Sorry, I just can't believe you guys are alive. I mean when Matt and I went back to the Gilbert house, there was no one there except for Tasha. The hybrids had then burned the house to the ground. We assumed you guys were dead."

"No, we're all alive and back in Mystic Falls. That's why we're here. We need you. Silas is coming back and we need all the hunters to be able to kill him," Bonnie said.

"What?" Jeremy said. "But Matt never mentioned that everyone came back! Is Elena back?"

"I just spoke with Elijah. They found Elena and Damon and are bringing them home. They should be there in a few hours now," Kol said.

"We found Vaughn and Conner and they are on board," Bonnie said.

"I'll come," Jeremy said. "We, hunters, still have that urge to kill vampires. It won't go until we establish our ultimate goal of killing Silas," Jeremy said.

"Great mate! Let's go," Kol said as he stood up.

"Do you have Vaughn and Jordan in the back of your car or something? I have to wait for April. She should be back from work soon," Jeremy said.

"Of course. How could we forget your dear wife," Kol said. Just then the front door opened and April walked in.

"What's going on?" April said.

The next hour was spent filling in April with everything that had happened. At first she didn't want to come back to Mystic Falls even though it was home. However, after intense persuasion from Jeremy, April agreed to come to back to Mystic Falls. By night fall they were on their way to Mystic Falls with all their necessary belongings.

Rebekah looked around the guestroom they were staying in. Klaus had really made sure that the room was to her liking. He knew that she and Stefan would want their own place however, when they did come to stay over. This was perfect. The mansion was so big that there were several other guestrooms down the hall. Those will fill up quite soon with all the hunters coming here. Finn and Sage, of course, had their own wing. Just then she heard the front door open and familiar voice filled the air. Rebekah walked out of the bedroom to the front hall to find Finn, Sage, Damon, Elijah and the two Petrova doppelgangers.

I hope you liked it! Please leave a review letting me know what you thought! :)
