Hey Everyone! I'm so sorry that I haven't been updating regularly. This is the last chapter of this story. The next chapter will be the epilogue! I would like to thank all of you for all your support and constant encouragement. I will finally start working on my other story soon. :) I really hope you enjoy this next chapter! :)

Finn, Sage, Damon and Elena had stepped into the new Mikaelson mansion. Just like everyone else, they were staggered by the fact that so many years had passed. They all especially enjoyed meeting the kids. Even though Finn had always been a bit distanced from his siblings, he was happy to see his mother and his nieces and nephews.

Damon was so happy to see his niece and nephew. It was quite a scene as everyone watched from afar. No one had ever imagined that Damon would have kneeled down to meet these children with tears in his eyes.

"You all have grown so much!" Damon said as he hugged each one of them.

"But you haven't grown much Uncle Damon. You just the same as you did in Mom and Dad's wedding album," Arianna said. Everyone laughed.

As dinner time approached, everyone helped in the kitchen. Even though they were all vampires and witches, they wanted to keep a normal environment for the children. Right before Liz was going to call the children for dinner, the front door opened. Kol walked in with Bonnie, Jeremy, April and two little girls.

"Jer?" Elena said as she ran towards her brother.

"Elena," Jeremy said as he hugged her back. He then brought forward April and the two little girls.

"Elena you remember April, my wife," Jeremy said. Elena put her hands over her mouth. Jeremy had gotten married. Elena gave April a hug.

"These are our daughters, Scarlett and Lily," April said.

"Oh my gosh, they are adorable!" Elena said as she bent down and picked up both of them.

"Girls, this is your Aunt Elena," Jeremy smiled.

"Hi Aunt 'lena!" the girls chanted as they hugged and kissed her. Elena carried them off to the family room where she sat them on her lap and talked to them.

"Wow, I haven't seen her for seven years and her she is, more interested in the girls," Jeremy smiled. Damon smirked.

"Well, it's good to see you little Gilbert," Damon smacked Jeremy on the back.

"Same here Damon," Jeremy said.

It was a house full. Finn and Sage had been shown their wing in the house and were awed by how much it was to their taste. Damon, Elena and the Gilberts were shown to the guestrooms in the house. Once again, everyone came into the kitchen for dinner. The five kids were very friendly to the newcomers. For them, it was a dream that had come true. They had their parents and their big family.

All the children wanted to sleep together so they slept in the movie theatre room on mattresses. They listened to the bedtime story Sage told them and slowly fell asleep. Klaus had asked all the adults to meet him in his study after all the children had gone to sleep. The time was ticking and Mikael probably had already figured out the fact that they were all released from their confinements. In fact he was already on his way.

"Kol, did you and Bonnie find the last hunter?" Klaus said as he reviewed the plans Caroline had proposed to take done Mikael and Silas.

"Yes brother, we found Alexander…" Kol gave Rebekah a smirk, "and brought him back. He is currently with the other hunters."

Rebekah glared at her brother. She was about to go knock out his teeth when she felt Stefan's hand come around her waist holding her to him.

"Not now," he whispered. Rebekah relaxed and leaned into him. He was her safe haven even though she was actually stronger than him. He gave her that feeling of security and she loved him for it.

Kol smirked again knowing that what Stefan had said to her. Bonnie saw the exchange and whacked Kol's arm hard.

"What was that for?" Kol said as he rubbed his arm and pretended to be in pain.

"Don't be a dick!" Bonnie said.

"Language," Kol said looking intently back at her.

"Doesn't matter, the kids are sleeping," Bonnie said giving a victory smile.

"Enough," Elijah said. "Now Niklaus, what is it that you were saying?"

"Thank you brother; as I was saying, we have all five hunters ready to fulfill their life's mission and the cure," Klaus holds up a small vial.

"We need to activate it Niklaus," Esther said.

"Yes, that will be done tomorrow. I'll get a drop from each of the children," Caroline said.

"Now, Caroline has made an excellent battle plan," Klaus said.

"Wow Caroline, didn't know you were such an expert in battle tactics," Kol said. "But we all knew you had that fire in you."

Caroline smiled.

"Kol, focus," Klaus said. He knew Kol didn't mean it that way but Caroline was his and only his.

Klaus immediately started with the proposition. They needed to take Mikael and Silas by surprise as well as separating the two. If Mikael and Silas were left together; it would be impossible to beat them. They formed groups for each part of the battle plan. The first group was for the children's protection because they knew that Mikael and Silas both wanted them badly. The second group was to lead Silas to the caves where the five hunters would be waiting for him and the third group was to end Mikael. They made sure to separate the three witches they had into appropriate groups.

"I'll go with the hunters to end Silas. I have some old issues to resolve with him," Bonnie said.

"I'm going with Bonnie," Kol immediately said.

"No Kol, you have to stay here with the kids," Bonnie said.

"But…" Kol started but Bonnie cut him off.

"No, you have to stay to protect them. It's more important," Bonnie said. Kol silently agreed. He knew she was right.

"I will go with the group taking down Mikael. I believe my husband and I have old issues to resolve," Esther said.

"I will stay for the protection of the children," Tasha said.

"Are you sure she'll be enough to protect the kids?" Damon said. "I mean last time we had a mangled body lying on the ground."

Tasha glared at him. The other Salvatore was getting on her nerves now.

"She'll be fine," Bonnie said.

"How do you know that BonBon? You weren't even here last time. You left with the kids," Damon said.

"Well as a witch, we can tell each other's powers. Just as Esther and I have been absorbing energy from the new moons for the last seven years, so has Tasha. All of us have absorbed the energy of the new moon eighty-four times. If it took Ayana a full year, which is twelve new moons, to transport two vampires through time, which requires very powerful magic, imagine what we can do," Bonnie said.

Everyone was quiet; Bonnie's explanation made sense. However, the children's safety was an important factor and just the thought of any kind of lack, left everyone queasy.

Caroline walked out of the bathroom wearing nothing but a white thong under one of Klaus's white shirts. Her hair was in loose waves. She thought it would be the perfect time because the kids were sleeping elsewhere for the night. Caroline saw Klaus on their bed in a pair of dark grey pajama pants. She leaned against the door ledge as she looked at him. He had one hand resting behind his head and the other holding up a piece of paper that he was fixedly studying. His legs were crossed one on top of the other. She admired his bare chiseled chest and defined torso. It wasn't like he was super buff and built like those football players she had dated back in high school but toned and just perfect. She stood there by the door hoping that he would notice her but he was too absorbed in his paper.

It was as if history was repeating itself and she was reminded of the time when the triplets were born. He kept overlooking the cave maps back then and now this. Caroline huffed as she walked towards the bed. She grabbed the paper out of his hand and put it on the side table.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing?" Klaus said slightly taken back by his paper being taken out of his hand. He was trying to decide if he should move Elijah and Kol to different groups. Perhaps Elijah should stay behind and look after the protection of the children. However, he knew Elijah wanted to be there when Mikael went down.

"Seriously? We finally get a night to ourselves and this is how you want to spend it?" Caroline said.

Klaus started to laugh.

"Stop laughing, it is not funny!" Caroline said. Klaus closed his mouth trying to suppress his laughter. Caroline glared at him and was about to walk away when grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. He firmed grabbed her waist and pulled her onto the bed beneath him.

"Were you thinking something like this?" Klaus said as he kissed her neck. Caroline hummed taking in the feeling of his soft lips against her neck. "Or this," he said as he kissed her shoulder and collarbone then rubbed his stubble her neck and chin.

"Hey!" Caroline said as she giggled. Klaus instantly captured her lips with his. Caroline responded with the same passion and intensity. She would never tire of the way his lips moved against hers in intimate whispers. She opened her mouth to give him access and their tongues tangoed with ferocity. He then left her lips and kissed down her neck to her revealing chest.

"I have to say love, this shirt suits you. But I'm afraid I must get rid of it," Klaus said as he ripped it open. All the buttons flew in every direction.

Caroline arched her back as Klaus took one of her breast into his mouth and teased the other one with his hand. Caroline moaned in pleasure. It had been so long since they had last had sex. Klaus's other hand slid down her side taking in her perfect curves. Caroline's hand went over the smooth planes of his back and her other hand tangled in dirty blond curls. Klaus lips came back to her mouth as they, once again, demanded entrance.

"Klaus, I need you," Caroline managed to say between kisses. Klaus swiftly removed the rest of his clothes and pushed into her. They didn't care to take it slow; they just knew that they needed each other now.

Their bodies moved in synchronized patterns. Caroline knew her release was close as they continued and the rhythm sped up. They reached their climax and at the same time both buried their fangs into each other's neck. Their ecstasy knew no bounds as the blood flowed into their mouths. Slowly, they both came down from their high.

Klaus rested his head on her chest as she ran her hands through his hair. They were at total peace just laying there in each other's arms. Klaus slowly raised his head to look at Caroline. He was still on top of her but rested on his forearms as he kissed her softy.

"I don't know what I did to have deserved you, but I am so thankful to have you in my life. Thankful for Bonnie sending you back in time. Thankful for that day Henrik found, the day you agreed to come with me to the festival, the day you said you only wanted me, and the day you agreed to marry me. And forever," Klaus said.

Caroline had tears in her eyes. For him to say his love for her in such a way; she knew it was hard for him, yet he did. She held his face in her hands and looked directly into his eyes.

"Niklaus Mikaelson, I love you and will love you for eternity," Caroline said as she brought her head up to place a soft kiss on his lips.

The slow, soft kiss took a turn and became passionate and needy. They might as well use the night they had alone.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Eliza called from outside the bedroom door.

"Why is the locked?" Zane said.

"I don't know," Noah said.

Klaus and Caroline woke up by the knock on their bedroom door. Caroline swiftly untangled herself from Klaus and pulled out her pajamas from the wardrobe. She threw Klaus's pajamas at him gestured for him to quickly get dressed.

"Coming," Caroline said as she watched Klaus quickly get dressed into something conservative. Once he was dressed, Caroline zoomed to the door and opened it. Her three little wolves were waiting for them.

"Good morning babies," Caroline said as kissed all of them. They all giggled.

"Daddy!" Eliza ran into her father arms. Klaus lifted her up into his arms.

"Morning sweetheart!" he said as kissed her on her cheek. Eliza kissed him back and smiled.

"Did you guys brush your teeth yet?" Caroline said. All three nodded. "Great, let's go have breakfast," she said as she lifted her two princes into her arms.

Everyone settled into the kitchen for breakfast. Caroline and Rebekah were now familiar with the children's routine and had now taken over from their mothers and Bonnie. Once the children were done, they took them to the bathroom to get ready. They would have to get their blood sooner or later.

"Niklaus," Elijah said as walked into the kitchen dressed in his usual suit attire.

"Yes brother," Klaus said looked up from his paper that he was looking at last night.

"One of my men whom I stationed at the airport just called, Mikael is here," Elijah said.

There was pin drop silence. Everyone's attention was narrowed onto Elijah.

"Are you sure?" Klaus said.

"Yes. I received a call from another one of my men, he also confirmed that Mikael and Silas have arrived," Elijah said.

"So it begins," Esther said.

"We have no time to waste. They must on their way here as we speak," Kol said.

"Everyone, take formation," Elijah said. "Niklaus, get Caroline and Rebekah to activate the cure now."

Klaus nodded and zoomed to the bathroom.

"Caroline, Bekah," Klaus sped into the bathroom. Caroline looked up from the bath to see a stoned face Klaus. She knew that he meant business. Before she could say anything, he said, "They are coming, we need to activate the cure now."

Caroline nodded; they had no time to waste. She and Rebekah quickly took the kids out of bathroom.

"Mommy what's happening?" Zane asked. All the children could tell that their parents were under duress. They quickly concluded.

"Are the bad guys coming back?" Aden asked.

"Okay, listen all of you," Rebekah said after she looked at Caroline. "Yes, the bad guys are coming and we need to defeat them, will you help us?"

"Yes!" the kids said immediately.

"Good, we just need a drop of your blood. Is that okay?" Rebekah said as Caroline went to get the cure.

"Like a blood test?" Arianna asked.

"Yes, but even less," Rebekah smiled at her daughter.

"Okay," she said. They went to each child; Rebekah pricked their index finger with a pin. Caroline collected a drop into the vial and put a bandage on their finger. Once Noah's blood went into the vial, cure turned golden. It had been activated. She swiftly walked out and handed the cure to Klaus. They looked into each other's eyes. They knew what they were into without saying anything. Caroline walked closer and kissed him on his lips.

"Come back to me," she whispered.

"I promise," he said as his the back of his fingers caressed her cheek. He then sped off without further notice. He needed to get the cure to the hunters who were waiting in the cave after receiving Kol's phone call.

Caroline, Rebekah, Stefan, Sage, Damon and Tasha were on Children protection duty. Bonnie, Elena, Katherine, Jeremy and the rest of the Hunters were on Silas duty. Elijah, Klaus, Finn, Kol and Esther were on Mikael duty. April, Liz and Matt were also asked to stay at the mansion to protect the kids.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Silas and Mikael walked through town square. They were fully aware of the fact that all the Mikaelson children were free and all their hybrids were dead.

"Where do you think they are?" Silas said.

"Well that's obvious; I am certain they are at the mansion," Mikael said.

"Well, I wouldn't be so certain about that father, would I?" Mikael heard a familiar voice behind him. He turned around to look at Klaus.

"Ahh, Niklaus. Eager to face your death boy?" Mikael sneered. "You have chosen a perfect place to die. Don't worry I'll make it even more dramatic."

"I could say the same for you, but right now let's make this a chase," Klaus said as he zoomed off towards the old building where witches had been massacred a century ago. He hated running from him, but this was the plan. He had to lead him to the place where the rest of his siblings and mother were waiting. He knew Silas would be following him as well so he decided to surpass the caves on the way.

Just as plan Klaus slowed down near the caves. He could hear both Silas and Mikael behind him. Then right on cue, the little doll that Bonnie had spelled walked towards him. She had Eliza's blonde hair looked around seven. Klaus bent down like he was talking to his daughter.

"Sweetheart, you can't be out here. Go back to the caves where it's safe," Klaus said. The doll ran back to the caves and went in. Klaus could tell that Mikael and Silas had seen the exchange. He swiftly took off praying that Silas would go into the caves where the hunters were waiting for him. He made his way towards the old shattered house with only the sound of one person behind him. Klaus smiled, Silas had gone into the caves.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bonnie, Elena and Katherine waited in the cave with the rest of the hunters for Silas. So far everything was according to plan. Klaus had just texted them that Mikael and Silas were following them. She was totally ready for Silas; she and the hunters had figured out a plan to take him down immediately without giving him the chance to comprehend what was going on.

As she was waiting her mind drifted off. As she was walking down the hall in the Mikaelson mansion hallway, someone pulled her into a room and shut the door behind them. When she looked up to see who it was, she found chocolate brown eyes.

"Kol, what are you doing?" Bonnie said. He looked a little stressed.

"I…I…," he stammered. That was strange. Kol Mikaelson was not known for stammering. "This is all happening too fast…and I wanted to do this, no I should have done this before…what if…." Kol went on.

"Kol what's going on?" Bonnie said as she looked at him. Kol looked at her for a moment.

"If I don't do this now, I'm going to regret it," and with that he took her face into his hands and kissed her lips most passionately. The kiss was so soft but furious. She didn't know how to describe it. She had never felt something like that. Kol sped away without saying anything.

Bonnie's hand touched her lips. She could still feel the tingling on her lips. Now she wished that she had told him how badly she wanted this, wanted him.

"A penny for your thoughts?" Elena said and smiled at Bonnie. Bonnie smiled back.

"Come on Bennett, you can't keep secrets for long. I saw the younger Mikaelson brother pull you into that room," Katherine said.

"What?" Elena said. She was shocked. She looked at Bonnie for affirmation to which Bonnie bit her lip and blushed.

"See…"Katherine said but was cut off.

Suddenly, she saw the doll walk in and fall onto the ground. That was her cue that Silas should be walking in at any moment. She mustered all power to the tip of her fingers. She had to give him a painful aneurism so Jeremy could shove the cure down his throat.

Then Silas walked into the cave and gave him an aneurism in full blast. Silas fell on the ground holding his head while blood flowed down his nose and out of his mouth. Jeremy swiftly shoved the cure into Silas's mouth and clamped it shut with his hands until he swallowed it. Within, few seconds, Silas lost consciousness and fell on the cold surface of the cave.

"Do we kill him now?" Vaughn said.

"No, not now; the cure must spread throughout his body before we kill him," Alexander said.

"If he gains consciousness, he'll be a warlock and have a lot of power," Vaughn said.

"I'll be ready for him," Bonnie said.

"So will I," they heard a voice.

Everyone turned around to see who it was.

"Quetziah!" Bonnie said. "How are you here and where did you disappear to the last time?"

"He," Quetziah said as she looked down at Silas, "drained me of my power last time. I was almost nothing. Actually, he got his witch to use my medallion to do it. Anyways, I couldn't resist not being here while my hunters killed him and then I'll join him on the other side."

Bonnie didn't argue. This old witch was crazy anyway.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Klaus stopped right in front of the old shattered house.

"How long will you run for boy?" Mikael said. "I've got you cornered now."

"I think quite the contrary, look around," Klaus said. Mikael looked around and found Kol, Elijah and Finn walking out of the woods. He was surrounded by his four sons.

"Ah my sons, how nice to see you all here," Mikael said.

"Don't go around in circles father, let's end this," Elijah said.

"We're going to send you back to hell," Kol said.

"Kol, always so impulsive and immature," Mikael said. "Perhaps that's why Niklaus and Elijah never valued you."

"Oh stop it father," Klaus said.

"We have not come to listen to this rant of yours father," Finn said.

"Finn, my eldest son, how did you manage to get pulled in with these lunatics. I thought you as the sensible one," Mikael said.

"I think we all know which side is the more sensible one," Klaus said. Mikael laughed.

"Fine, then first I will finish all of you then I'll go and rip limb from limb those abominations you created with that bitch. In fact, I'll do it right after I have my way with her," Mikael sneered.

"Don't you dare talk about Caroline and our children!" Klaus shouted.

Right then, a fire started on the right. It kept going until Mikael was in the middle of a star of fire.

"What is this? You knew you couldn't finish me on your own so you brought a witch," Mikael said.

"Not just any witch," Kol smirked. Mikael looked at him confused.

"Kol, sweetheart, don't be rude to your father," Esther said as she walked out.

Mikael stared at her for a moment. He couldn't believe his eyes. He stood there frozen not believing that Esther was actually standing in front of him in flesh and blood.

"Esther, love you're alive," Mikael said. "How is it possible?"

"Just as it was possible for you," Esther said.

Mikael tried to move towards her but the fire grew around him.

"Stay where you are," Esther said.

"What's going on?" Mikael said as he looked around.

"You know fairly well father," Elijah said.

"Esther what is this?" Mikael said.

"I've watched you and all my children from the other side for a very long time. I went through the pain of each victim that was hunted. Along with that, I also seen all of you fight with each other. Especially you Mikael, it pained me to see you hunt your own children," Esther said.

"He is no child of mine," Mikael said as he pointed at Klaus.

"So you decided to punish him for my infidelity," Esther said.

"Esther, he killed you," Mikael said.

"That he did," Esther said. "He did what you wanted to do."

"What are you trying to say?" Mikael said.

"Don't look at me like that Mikael, he may not have your blood but he has your upbringing. Why do you think he killed me? It was because he was different than his siblings. He wanted to be your son; worthy of your eyes," Esther said. "If he didn't kill me, you would have."

"You don't know that," Mikael started.

"Oh yes I do!" Esther said. "I heard you Mikael, you said you would 'kill all those bloody wolves and then that bitch who betrayed you'."

"Oh so you're here to take revenge, my love," Mikael said as he smiled.

"No Mikael but you must leave," Esther said as she raised her hand out. Mikael fell on his knees holding his head. "You have the evil intention of killing innocent children. Those children are not only our grandchildren Mikael, but they are the balance of nature. If it's not me then, the spirits would find another way to destroy you."

"Esther, please," Mikael said. Esther withdrew her hand and Mikael stood up.

"Our love for our children was blind that in the desire to make them strong, fast and more powerful than the wolves; we made them into such creatures that have thirst for human blood. However, these little being are the balance of nature. They are what we originally wanted to make them into," Esther said.

"Then what do you intend to do my love?" Mikael said as he stood in the star of fire.

"It's time we be gone," Esther said as walked to stand in the star beside him.

All the sons were shocked as they saw their mother walk into the star to stand beside their father.

"Mother, what are you doing?" Finn said. He looked panicked.

"Mother this is insanity please come back out," Elijah said.

"No my children, this was always meant to be," Esther said.

"Mother, enough with the tricks, we need to finish this," Klaus said. He didn't know how he felt; he refused all the memories with his mother and father from his human life.

"No Niklaus, this is it my children," Esther said. "I bid you farewell, though I do have some advice. Do not let a single human die from here on. I know that you need blood to survive, but that does not mean that you must kill. Beware; if you do not follow, your own children will be your enemy."

"What do you mean?" Kol said.

"Those five children are the balance of nature. They are powerful and their loyalty will always be with nature. They may young now however, in the future; they will not stand injustice towards nature or humanity," Esther said.

"Is this a threat?" Klaus said.

"No my loves, its advice. Keep your humanity as close as possible. For you Niklaus, I know that you will," Esther smiled.

"Why do you say that? I'm the vilest of them all," Klaus said.

"I say this because you have Caroline. She brings out the humanity in you Niklaus. Never let her go; treasure her," Esther said. "Good-bye my children," with that the fire outlining the star went thirty feet into the air enveloping Mikael and Esther. All the sons geared back away from the raging fire. The fire suddenly died out and Mikael and Esther were gone.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"When will he awaken?" Vaughn said getting impatient.

"I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see," Bonnie said as she stared down at Silas's unconscious body. It was strange, the humanly colour had returned to his face yet he had not awakened.

"I've been waiting centuries for this," Alexander said.

"We know," Jeremy said. He was getting tired of the other hunters ranting.

Bonnie looked down and noticed that Silas had all of sudden, disappeared.

"Oh my gosh, where did he go?" Bonnie said. The hunters were frantically looking around for Silas.

"Shit! Everyone, back to the mansion! That's the only place he could go! He wants the kids," Bonnie said. Everyone ran out of the caves and made their way to the mansion as fast as they could.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

At the mansion, the kids were sitting in the family room watching a movie. They could tell something was going on. All the adults were distressed. Rebekah and Caroline kept pacing back and forth constantly checking the windows. Damon and Stefan were outside circling the house. Sage stayed with Tasha in the library as a relaying message person just in case Tasha sensed anything. Caroline had a bad feeling. Something wasn't right. She messaged Klaus, but he hadn't responded. She hoped that he was okay.

Tasha opened her eyes feeling the strain.

"What happened?" Sage said.

"Someone's trying to break the magical barricade," Tasha said. "They are very powerful."

Sage quickly ran out to warn the others. Caroline and Rebekah had already heard. Sage ran out onto the back porch to find Stefan and Damon staring at the constant attack on the magical boundary.

"Someone is trying to break the boundary," Sage said.

"Yeah, we see that but we can't see who it is," Damon said.

"Stefan!" Rebekah said from behind Sage. "Come inside."

Stefan and Damon walked into the house.

"Where are the kids?" Stefan asked.

"Caroline took them all to the basement," Rebekah said. "Need be, they can take the tunnels out."

Stefan nodded.

"Do you know who it is?" Damon asked.

"No, Tasha can't tell. It's seems like Esther has done a hell of job putting up the magical boundary. This witch or warlock is having a hard time getting in," Sage said.

Damon walked into the Library in front of Tasha and Matt who had his daughter in his arms.

"Okay witchy, what's going on?" Damon said and then looked at Matt. "Why haven't you taken your daughter to the basement where the rest of the kids are?"

Matt looked at Tasha who nodded her head. He kissed her forehead and left the library to join the rest in the basement.

"He's trying to get in," Tasha said.

"Who?"

"Silas,"

"How is he even here? What happened to the Hunters, Elena, Bonnie and Katherine?" Damon said.

"I don't know. I just know that he just broke through the think magical boundary I had casted outside of Esther's to sense any intruders," Tasha said.

Just then Damon's phone rang.

"Elena?" Damon said.

"Damon, Silas is probably headed to the mansion. He just disappeared awhile after taking the cure," Elena said. He could hear her and the rest running through the forest.

"Yah, I know. He's already here. Apparently, he's having a hard time breaking through Esther's protective barrier," Damon said.

"Any word from the rest of the originals?" Elena said.

"Nope, the only one here is my sweet sister-in-law," Damon said. He could sense Elena roll her eyes. "Well she is and I can't change that."

"I know, anyways, we'll be there in about two minutes," Elena said.

"Well be careful, the big bad two thousand year old warlock is outside," Damon said.

"Will do; which side of the house is he on?" Elena said.

"I'm assuming the west because that's where all the attacks are visible," Damon said as he stared out the window again.

"Okay, see you soon," Elena said and hung up.

Rebekah came into the library and Damon filled her in about what happened in the caves.

"Any word from your brothers and mother?" Damon said.

"Nope, they're not answering right now," Rebekah said. She looked worried. Right then her phone rang.

"Bekah," Klaus said.

"Nik, oh thank God! What happened? We've been trying to call for ages!" Rebekah said.

"I know, I'll tell you what happened later but both of our parents are gone," Klaus said. Rebekah didn't know what to say. "What's the going on there?"

"Silas is trying to break the magical boundary," Rebekah chocked out.

"We'll be right there," Klaus said and hung up.

"What does he mean both of your parents are gone?" Damon said just as Stefan walked in.

"He said he'll explain later but both Esther and Mikael are gone," Rebekah said. She had developed feelings for her mother ever since she had taken her children to safety. Stefan embraced her understanding the fact that she had lost her mother again.

"Something I don't understand is that how is the magical boundary still intact if Esther is dead?" Stefan said.

"It's very old magic. I'd say it's very pure magic," Tasha said. "By her death, she bound the magical barricade with love. In a way, you could say she sacrificed herself for it. There is nothing Silas could do to possibly break in."

"Are you sure? I mean he's definitely trashing it," Damon said.

"That's all he can do," Tasha said.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The hunters, Bonnie, Quetziah, Elena and Katherine made it to the mansion. They saw that Silas was trying to break the magical boundary but was having no luck.

"I'll take him from this side and you take the other side," Bonnie said.

"Elena and I will go straight in to distract him," Katherine said. "Then once Bonnie and Quetziah have him down, the hunters take him out."

Everyone agreed and took their places. Elena and Katherine rushed in but were hoisted into the air by Silas. They had managed to take his attention away from the house and everyone else.

"I hate your faces," Silas said. "It reminds me of my true love, whom you two replicate. It reminds that I still need to find her and in order for me to do that, I need to sacrifice those kids."

With one movement of his hand, he snapped both of their necks at the same time. Damon ran out of the house towards Silas. All the original brothers were there too now. Kol grabbed him from behind and Elijah from grabbed his throat. Klaus and Finn tried break his arms from each side. However, Silas too powerful, he managed to break Damon's legs as he was running towards him, bleed Elijah, burn Klaus's and Finn's hands and smash Kol's head all together.

Right at that moment, Bonnie and Quetziah moved in from both sides chanting in Latin and extending their arms in powerful gestures. From what could be seen, Silas hands were brought up as if there were locked in with an invisible chain. The hunters walked in with their new hunters swords all glowing blue. They all circled Silas and at the same time dug their swords into his flesh. There was a deafening scream and Silas was dead. Right after, Quetziah took one of the Hunter's swords and ran it through herself.

Everyone was calm. It was as if everything had finally ended. Stefan, Caroline and Rebekah all ran out. Stefan helped Damon straighten out his legs that were weirdly broken. Rebekah helped her brothers. Katherine and Elena had awoken. Bonnie ran to Kol; his injury was already healing. Caroline ran to Klaus and embraced him with a sense of relief. Everything was going to be okay.
