Chapter 38: Conflicts

Jack POV

The feeling was indescribable, for all of us. Thousands of soldiers lost, dead in perpetual darkness. We were all shaken up by this horrifying display of Pitch's psychotic side. Something we've never seen before. I was literally quivering in sorrow and rage. I could've stopped it! I could've prevented the loss of those lives! But instead I'm here in the North Pole, watching!

"Damn it." I murmur as I fall to my knees. "Damn it!" I slam my fist to the ground. "I could've stopped it! I could've prevented it! Prevented all this!"

"Jack." North approaches and kneels down next to me. "There was simply nothing you could have done." I jerk my head up to glare at him with tears rolling down my face.

"Oh yeah!?" I got up and grabbed him by the collars. "I could have! You could have used one of your snow globes and sent us to stop him! Simple!" I shouted at him.

"But are we powerful enough to stop him?" He calmly answered me. I was at a loss for words to answer his question.

"I… I don't know. But I wouldn't know until I tried." I sniffled with mixed emotions.

"True. But the adult humans wouldn't understand." North sighed.

"I wouldn't care!" I snapped back. "Whether they would like it or not I would still help them!"

"Hey come on! Calm down Jack!" Bunny urged me. I turn and glared at him instead.

"How can I be calm, when Pitch going around killing people!? Corrupting the planet!" I let go of North's collar. "You expect me to calm down!?"

"Jack, stop it!" Tooth frantically said to me. I turn to her and see the sadness and the fear in her eyes. She was holding back her tears. I guess I wasn't the only one. I looked around the place and see everyone else having the exact same look that Tooth has. I back away with mixed feeling coursing through me.

"Dingle!" North called to a group of elves. One of them steps forward gleefully. "Make preparations! We are going to have company." He takes a snow globe and whispers something. He then throws it to open a portal. We we're all confused at first. But then we all saw familiar faces coming through the portal. North approached them with open arms and a smile. "Everyone! Welcome to the North Pole."

We couldn't believe it. Everyone we've met in New York were all here safe and sound. Hiccup, Toothless, and Astrid. Aladdin with Jasmine, Rajah, and Sultan. Rapunzel and Flynn. Ariel and Eric with Hercules and Phil. There were others that I haven't met yet. For example one was a beast of some kind with a few butlers and maids. He was also with… Belle? The librarian? Go figure. A huge fish tank of merfolk. And other beings that emitted a glowing luminescents. I came to them with relief and delight.

"I'm so glad you guys are okay." I said to them.

"Same to you, Jack." Hiccup smiled with everyone.

"Wait a minute." Looked around the crowd. "Where are your parents?" I asked.

"They're okay. Mom just went back to the Dragon Sanctuary to make sure they were all right. Dad was worried to let her go alone, so he went with her for protection." Hiccup explained.

"Okay, good." I sighed in relief. I looked back at all the people coming through. I then turned to Ariel. "I see your people having no such luck." I said with an unhappy look. Ariel had the same.

"It was simply terrible." She said sadly. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. "Most of my people we're captured. While some were killed. They were at a disadvantage because they were in their merfolk forms. Those humans… they took them without mercy." Ariel finally broke down and cried. She leaned against Eric and he held her close for comfort. I felt bad for her and her people. Her cousin Hercules also came over to comfort her. With him was a woman.

"How you holding up, big guy?" I try to smile.

"Alright, I guess." He shrugged. "My dad and the others are the only ones who were lucky enough to escape." He gestured to the glowing people.

"So those are the Gods?" I asked.

"Yep." He nodded, still frowning. My first thought was that maybe they could solve this problem. If fact why don't they!? They could have this whole conflict solved in a blink of a God Damn eye!

"I know what you're thinking." Said the woman next to him. "Why can't THEY solve this mess? Because my… master, Hades is with them." She explained feeling ashamed. "Because of his influence combined with Pitch's, the Gods are unable to do anything."

"I see." I sighed. Damn that Pitch!

"Oh! I'm sorry. I'm Megara. Friends call me Meg." She introduced to herself. "I'm Herc's girlfriend just to let you know." She smiled.

"Jack Frost." I introduced myself.

"So I've noticed." She smirked. But she sighed a frown again. "I don't mean to make things worse but Pitch also has the Three Sisters of Fate captured."

"I'm guessing they're not worried? I mean they are Fate incarnate." I said trying to lighten up the mood.

"No. They ARE worried. In fact enraged that the Dominion is now controlling fate itself." She shuttered. I went wide-eyed in horror. Things just got worse. Pitch now controls fate? That means he can kill us all with out a second thought. Wait a minute! In fact he already has the power to wipe us all out in a millisecond! So why hasn't he done it already!?

"Why hasn't he done it yet?" I ask to no one in particular.

"What do mean?" Hiccup asked.

"Why hasn't he wiped us all out yet? He now has all power to do so in many different ways! He can wipe us all out in a millisecond! Any way he chooses!" I started to panic. "So why hasn't he finished us all off!"

"Because Pitch is like predator." North approaches us. "He likes to play with his food first."

"So… he's just toying with us?" Hiccup asked.

"Yes." He nodded.

"That bastard!" I cursed him. "This is all just a game to him!"

"Or perhaps it's because we have an ace in the hole." Aladdin said stepping forward. We all turn to him as he presented a… teakettle?

"Um, Aladdin how is a teakettle suppose to be an ace in the hole?" I asked confused.

"It my seem like a teakettle, but actually it's lamp." Aladdin explained.

"A lamp? It doesn't look like a lamp. Doesn't even look like it'll light up." Bunny said.

"Wait! I know what he's talking about!" He spoke up. "You mean a magic lamp?"

Yes." Aladdin smiled and nodded. Abu jumped up and down on his shoulder.

"How did you get that?" I asked. Aladdin made a skeptic look.

"Well." He began. "You know those few open positions?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Well one of them being Jasmine's bodyguard…" He paused and blushed. "…while the other was being usual thief of sneaking and steeling." He said with a look of shame. Jasmine looked at him with sympathy. "Jafar had me assigned to sneak inside the Museum of Natural History and steel this. He gave me a fake one to replace the real one. I managed to steel this with ease." He explained.

"And I'm guessing you didn't give it to Mr. Pedosmile." I joked.

"If you mean Jafar, yes I did give it to him." He said. "But I then learned that Jafar was actually working for the dominion."

"What!?" I went wide-eyed in shock.

"Yeah. But I managed to steel this back. Though it was no easy feet." Aladdin said.

Aladdin POV (Temporally)

Flashback

I was hanging… I mean guarding Jasmine along with Rajah. I just stepped out of her room to go get a drink of water when I heard Jafar talking to Sultan. But I managed to see something that I never thought I would see.

"Sir, I have found a solution to the problem with your daughter." Jafar says to Sultan.

"Awk! The problem with your daughter!" His parrot Iago repeats.

"Oh, really?" Sultan says. Jafar opens a book.

"Right here. ""If the princess has not chosen a husband by the appointed time, then the sultan shall choose for her."" Jafar reads.

"But Jasmine hated all those suitors! How could I choose someone she hates?" Sultan asks.

"Not to worry, my liege. There is more. "If, in the event a suitable prince cannot be found, a princess must then be wed to" He stops and stares in interest "...hmm...interesting."

"What? Who?" Sultan looks at Jafar with anticipation.

""The royal vizier!" Why, that would be...me!" He smiles.

"Why, I thought the law says that only a prince can marry a princess, I'm quite sure." Sultan ponders.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures, my lord." Jafar simply says. He pulls out the staff and hypnotizes Sultan with it.

"Yes...desperate measures..." Sultan says with wide eyes in a red stare. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Jafar was actually a sorcerer and he was using his powers to get by to achieve power.

"You will order the princess to marry me." Jafar said. "The princess will marry me!"

"The princess will marry..."

I was at a loss for words. I had to do something. My body was screaming at me to do something and fast. But I didn't know how too. Then I saw Jafar taking out the lamp I delivered for him. He lifts the lamp and rubs it. Suddenly smoke comes out of the hole. The LAMP begins to shake and glow. Then suddenly a Genie comes out.

"Aaaaahhhhh! OY!" The big blue Genie yelled. "Ten-thousand yeeeeeeeeeaaaars will give ya such a crick in the neck! Hang on a second." He pulls his head off and spins it around, yelling as he does so. "Whoa! Wow! Does it feel good to be outta there!" He looked so nice. But what happened next was shocking. He throws Genie to the ground and puts his foot on Genie's face. I was seeing more of Jafar's true colors.

"I am your master now." Jafar hissed a smirk.

"I was afraid of that." Genie stared in fear. I had to do something. But then…

"Aladdin what's going on? What are you doing?" Jasmine came up from behind, with Rajah. This was bad. Jasmine can't get involved in what ever Jafar was planning.

"Jasmine go back into your room, quick!" I whispered a shout.

"Why what's going on?" She wondered. She turned to see what I was trying to keep her away from.

"F-Father? What is all this!?" She frantically asks.

"Ah just in time for the main event." Jafar smiles. "Tell them Mr. Agrabah."

"I have chosen a husband for you." Sultan said still monotone from the hypnosis.

"What?" She stares in shocking confusion.

"You will wed Jafar." Jasmine gasps at the sight of him.

"You're speechless, I see. A fine quality in a wife." Jafar smirks.

"I will never marry you!" She hissed at him. She goes to Sultan. "Father, I already chose someone!" She has? Well… I wonder who it was. However she looks back to me and starts blushing. "I choose Aladdin!" It was so bold of her. I started blushing myself.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible, nor will it do." Jafar smirked.

"Wont do…" Sultan said still monotone from the hypnosis.

"Father, what's wrong with you?"

"I know!" I grab the staff and smashes it on the floor. Jafar flinches and the spell is broken for good.

"Oh, oh, oh my!" Sultan blinked. "What happened?"

"Sir, Jafar's been controlling you with this!" I advance the staff.

"What?" Sultan stuttered in disbelief. "Jafar?" He turns to him. "You, you traitor!"

"Well, that's it-we're dead, forget about it. Just dig a grave for both of us. We're dead." Iago spoke. As in actually spoke.

"The parrot talks? As in actually talks?" I stare in disbelief. We all stared in disbelief.

"Guards! Guards!" Sultan shouted. Jafar makes a move, but is grabbed by guards. "Arrest Jafar at once." He ordered.

"This is not done yet, boy!" Jafar pulls a vial from his pocket. I see this and rush towards him. but JAFAR throws the vial to the floor. A large black cloud appears and suffocates the two guards. But then something else happens. They start to change into those Nightmare things.

"W-What is going on here!?" Jasmine shouted.

"What have you done to them!?" Sultan shouts too.

"Oh nothing much, just mutated them into Nightmares." He casually says. "Now that we've gotton that out of the way…" He turns to a scared genie. "Genie, grant me my first wish. I wish to rule on high, as a noble!" He shouted his wish.

"Wait don't do it!" I begged

"Sorry, kid. Got no choice." He said sadly. Genie not to. Genie zaps Jafar with his lightning bolt.

"Bless my soul. What is this? What is going on?" Sultan frantically asks in disbelief. His turban lifts off his head. When he grabs it, his whole body flies up, and then is stripped of all his clothing except his boxer shorts. The clothing reappears on Jafar.

"At last!" Jafar laughs maniacally.

"Jafar, you vile betrayer." Sultan hissed at him.

"Watch you mouth little man!" Iago hissed at him.

"Jafar, I order you to stop!" Sultan shouted to Jafar.

"There's a new order now—the Dominion's order! Finally, you will bow to me!" He announced.

"We'll never bow to you!" Jasmine hissed.

"Why am I not surprised?" Iago sarcastically said.

"If you will not bow before your new rulers, then you will cower before a sorcerer! He turns to Genie. "Genie, my second wish-I wish to be the most powerful sorcerer in the world!" He laughs manically. Genie extends his finger. I try to stop him, but I couldn't, and another lightning bolt strikes Jafar, returning him to his normal look.

"Ladies and gentlemen, a warm welcome for Sorcerer Jafar!" Iago announced.

"Now where were we? Ah, yes-abject humiliation!" He zaps JASMINE and the SULTAN with his staff, and they both bow to him. RAJAH comes running at him. He zaps RAJAH, and the tiger turns into a kitty-cat. "Oh, Jasmine…" He lifts her chin with his staff. "…let's get together this evening."

"Jafar! Get your hands off her!" I shouted as I rushed over to Jafar and punched him square in the jaw.

"How dare you boy!" He hissed at me. "You dare to stand against me then you'll meet your maker!"

"Oh, yeah? Well, we'll just see about that!" I pulled out a familiar object out of my hoodie.

"The lamp!" He gasped. I ran over to Jasmine and Sultan and run to the window.

"Come on let's go!" I bring them to the open window.

"Get them, and bring me the lamp!" He orders his Nightmare to attack.

"What's gonna happen to us?" Jasmine asks frantically.

"Do you trust me?" I ask her.

"What?" She turns to me.

"Do you trust me?" I extend my hand to her.

"Yes?" She takes my hand.

"Then jump!" I have both Sultan and Jasmine jump off the roof, fall and land in a pile of salt.

"Aladdin!" Jasmine called from below. I was just about to jump but then grabs my wrist.

"What are doing?"

"Giving you your reward. Your eternal reward." He pulls out a crooked dagger and is about to stab me, when Abu bites him on the wrist. He screams, but lets go of me, who falls into the pile with Jasmine and Sultan.

"Come on let's go!" I shouted as we all ran out towards the street.

"You can't escape me forever!" Jafar shouted. "I will find you!"

After awhile of running we stopped to catch our breath.

"Jasmine, are you all right?" I ask frantically.

"Yes?" She nodded. She then hugged me tightly. I hugged bag.

"Jafar, my most trusted counselor, plotting against me all this time. Just horrible." Sultan said to himself in disbelief.

End of Flashback

Jack POV

I was certainly blown away by his story.

"Wow. You did all that by yourself?" I ask in awe.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Are you sure you're not Altiar from Assassin's Creed." I joke. We both laugh.

"I'm pretty sure I'm not." I smiled. "Anyway want to him?"

"Sure." I shrug. Aladdin rubs the lap.

"Come on out genie." He persuades kindly.

"Is it safe to come out?" A voice said from inside.

"Yeah it is." He chuckles. He lifts the lamp and rubs it. Genie comes out.

"Whoa! Does it feel good to be outta there!" Genie uses the lamp end of himself as a microphone. "Nice to be back, ladies and gentlemen. Hi, where ya from?" Sticks the mic in Aladdin's face. "What's your name?"

"Uh, Al-uh-Aladdin." He says.

"Aladdin!" Genie says his name as if he's discovered something major. A neon sign lights up with Aladdin's name on it, circled by chase lights. "Hello, Aladdin. Nice to have you on the show. Can we call you 'Al?' Or maybe just 'Din?' Or how bout 'Laddi?' Sounds like 'Here, boy! C'mon, Laddi!'" Genie disappears, then a dog-wrapped in plaid jumps in. Dog poofs into smoke, then back to the Genie. Abu screeches wildly. "Oh, sorry Cheetah-hope I didn't singe the fur! Say, you're a lot smaller than my last master." He lifts his beer-gut. "Either that or I'm gettin' bigger. Look at me from the side, do I look different to you?"

"Wait a minute! I'm-your master?" Aladdin asks.

"That's right!" Genie slaps a diploma in Aladdin's hand and a mortarboard on his head. "He can be taught!" I chuckled a little. "What would you wish of me?" He poofed in a puff of smoke and became… Arnold Schwarzenegger? "The ever impressive?" Impressive indeed. He sounds just like him. Next inside a cube. "The long contained?" He struggled. Next to as a ventriloquist with a dummy. "The often imitated?" He tosses the dummy aside. "but never duplicated-." He multiplies into multiple Genies who surround us. "Duplicated, duplicated, duplicated, duplicated, duplicated, duplicated, duplicated, duplicated, duplicated." The clones said in a chain. "Genie! Of! The Lamp!" Says it like a ring announcer at a boxing match. Then he goes into Ed Sullivan look alike. "Right here direct from the lamp, right here for your enjoyment wish fulfillment. Thank youuuuu!"

"Whoa! Wish fulfillment?" Aladdin asked with interest.

"Three wishes to be exact. And ex-nay on the wishing for more wishes." He explains. He turns into a slot machine. "That's it" His arm pulls down and three Genies appear in the windows. "Three." Three Genie caballeros come out of the slot. "Uno, dos, tres." Changes into b/w Groucho Marx. "No substitutions, exchanges or refunds." The duck drops with the secret word "Refunds." Does this guy have everything?

"Now I know I'm dreaming." Aladdin chuckles to me.

"You an me both." I smile with him.

"A genie that grants wishes?" Said a voice. We all turned to sea Triton himself staring. "Perfect! He boomed. "Let's wish for this whole mess to be solved. First wish to make the dominion disappear forever and for good. The second can be for all of us mythical creatures to be restored of our happiness and our lives. And the final wish would be to rid the world of ALL humans." Now that last one I couldn't condone for.

"Now hold on!" North boomed. "Two out of three I understand. But the third I cannot agree with!"

"He's right!" I step in. "That's going too far!"

"And what else should we do!? Let the humans continue to hunt us like animals!? I for one do not want to simply sit by while our kind, all of us, are either captured or killed!" He argued.

"I understand where you are coming from." North said. "But this is what Pitch wants. He wants us to destroy one other so he can take over."

"Are you suggesting we're nothing but pawns to Pitch!?" Triton boomed in outrage.

"You know that's not what I meant! Nor am I saying it! Nor am I implying it!" North argued back.

"Daddy, stop it!" Ariel screamed. "You're letting your hatred get the better of you!"

"Are you implying I am weak willed!?" He glared at his own daughter.

"How could you say that!?" Ariel stared in appalled.

"Are you that blind, Ariel!? Humanity is the enemy! They are not part of nature! They are an abomination! Just like HIM!" He insulted and pointed to Eric.

"Me?" He stood appalled.

"You don't even know him!" She argued.

"Know him? I don't have to know him! They're all the same! Spineless, savage, killers! Incapable of any feelings!" He ranted.

"DADDY I LOVE HIM!" She screamed. We all went wide-eyed in shock. This was awkward. She was red in the face. Eric was too. He must feel really touched by this.

"No!" Triton started in disbelief. "Have you lost your senses completely!? He's a human! You're a mermaid!"

"I don't care."

"So help me Ariel! So help me, everyone! I am going to get though to you! I am going to get through to all of you!" He booms at her. Then his triton starts glowing. "And if this is the only way…" He points it at Eric. "…so be it!" He hissed.

"Daddy, No!" Ariel screams.

"Stop!" Me and North shout in unison. But then someone grabs his hand. It's Poseidon, the God of the Seas.

"Stop this insanity, son!" He boomed.

"You would defend these humans, father!? These abominations of destruction!?" Triton boomed at his father.

"Stop." I begged him.

"These humans don't understand what it's like to be different!" Poseidon explains.

"Which is precisely the reason why they need to be exterminated!" He argued back.

"Stop!"

"Then you'll become the very thing they want you to be!" Zeus steps in.

"Then so be it! They'll come to regret it soon!" He spats at the two of them.

"Please stop!"

"If you do not move then I will kill you all!" Triton threatened.

"Daddy no!" Ariel begged.

"THEN IT'S WAR THEN!" Zeus bellowed. Finally I lost it.

"SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP! I shout at the top of my lungs. My voices echoes like crazy as my powers literally go chaotic and cause a massive blizzard in the huge room. Everyone was screaming in terror as they all try to find cover. After awhile the blizzard dies down. I start to calm down and breathe heavily. Everyone slowly got up and looked around to see what I had done. Everything was ALMOST completely frozen. Then they all stared up at me with fear in their eyes. "What the hell is wrong with all of you!?" I yelled. "You're all acting just like the humans and creatures who are against each other in conflict! Bickering, fighting, killing!" I rant. "Doesn't anybody notice this I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!" There was moment of silence. "Me and the other Guardians protect the children! Humans for Christ sake!" I turn to Triton in disgust. "What have you got Triton!? Nothing! You got NOTHING! NOTHING!" I screamed at him. Everyone gasped. "I will be a monkey's uncle if I have you ruin this for us! Because if you can do the right thing properly, then I will!" And will that I fly off into the sky and out of the Santa's Workshop.

"Jack!" North called.

"Where are you going!?" Anna called out.

"Jack comeback!" Tooth frantically called. But I didn't. I kept on flying.

I flew higher and higher and higher. Until I just couldn't fly anymore. I immediately dropped from the sky and towards the ground. I couldn't get the wind to help me. Finally I crashed onto the snow. I slowly lifted myself up and found myself on a mountain. I knew I was still in the North Pole. I look up at the sky and see the full moon.

"Why does this have to HAPPEN!" I shouted at the moon. But I got no answer. As usual Manny didn't answer. Why? Why do I even bother? I'm a failure! And the Manny won't help me! I fell to me knees and started crying. "E-Elsa…" I sniffled. "…I don't know what to do…"

Chapter 38 is done. JESUS! I literally kept hitting myself in the BALLS to write this chapter! This is SO sad! :(
