Summary Sesshoumaru is mystified by women's tears
Sesshoumaru was perplexed. Everyone was crying. The miko was sobbing. The slayer was sobbing. Even the old miko was crying her eyes out. What in the world was going on?
When the old miko told him that Rin was considered a woman after her mogi, he came to his decision. The time had come Rin's choice. At the old woman's suggestion he had given Rin five years to live in a human village.
Rin would then be able to make her own choice about where she wanted to live. Sesshoumaru never understood why this was necessary, but he agreed to abide by the hag's wishes. He knew that when the time came for Rin to choose, Rin would go with him.
Before the mogi,he presented Rin with a juni-hitoe fit for a princess. Everyone knew something was up. It was only after the mogi that the crying started. All he did was turn his back and say \

The women were all crying and hugging Rin. Rin was hugging them all back and bawling her eyes. Sesshoumaru was confused for the first time in his life. He assumed that Rin would be happy to go with him and all the women should be happy for her. He felt a hand on his shoulder
"Keh, Women. Don't try to understand them? Kagome cries when she is happy too. When they are like this all we can do is accept that they love us and leave it at that".
