Hey Everyone! Sorry for the long wait but this really long chapter will hopefully make up for it. I tried to get all of the epilogue into one chapter but it was difficult. So I have split it up into two part. I hope you enjoy it and please do let me know what you think!
Again everyone gathered in Klaus's study. He held Caroline close; he loved that radiant energy bouncing off of her. He could tell by the indulging atmosphere that everyone was happy, and ecstatic that they had finally gotten rid of their enemies. They wanted to party. There was also a sense of relief. The kids were currently in the basement with Liz and April and he wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. He had to relay the message from his mother as it was important for their existence.
"So why did you call us here? We kind of want to get the party started," Damon said.
"Yes brother, we have waited for this moment for so long," Kol said.
"Kol, I believe you have already forgotten what our mother had said," Klaus said. "So before our mother, Esther, left along with Mikael. She gave us a little advice about the kids."
"What about the kids?" Caroline said as she looked at him with her bright green eyes truly curious about what he was about to say.
"She said that they were the balance of nature and that's where their loyalty will forever remain," Klaus said.
"Okay, so what. I mean look at Bonbon, she's loyal to nature. It's witchy stuff which makes sense because your kids are quarter witch," Damon said.
"Well mate, there's more. Apparently, any act against nature or humanity would be considered against them and they would be obliged to hunt them down," Klaus said.
"And your point is…." Damon said.
"We're vampires," Caroline said immediately as she looked at him. He smiled at her. It didn't surprise him that she got it and the rest didn't.
"You are right sweetheart. Our survival is against nature," Klaus said.
"You mean to say that our own children will kill us?" Rebekah said.
"Yes, it could be possible, Bekah," Klaus said.
"But mother said that as long as we don't take human lives," Kol said.
"Yes, she did address that we needed blood to survive," Elijah said.
"That's simple, everyone is on my kind of diet now," Caroline smiled.
"What's that Blondie?" Damon said.
"Blood bags," Caroline said with a smile. "The idea is not to harm humans which include killing them and turning them."
"You're saying that if I feed directly from a human, your kids are going to come and kill me?" Damon said sarcastically.
"Yes only if you kill them," Caroline said. "Basically, no human should die because of who we are."
Everyone seemed to understand the circumstances and was accepting of it.
"Alright then, let's get the party started!" Kol said.
Everyone cheered as they left Klaus's study. Caroline was about to leave as well when he took her hand and pulled her towards him. Both of his hands went around her waist as her hands rested on his chest.
"Where do you think you're going?" Klaus whispered into her ears and then placed a kiss on her neck. He peppered kisses down her neck.
"Nik! Not here," Caroline whispered as her breath became out of range.
"Why not," he said as his lips ghosted over hers.
"Never mind," Caroline said as she brought her lips upon his hard. Their lips moved against each other as their tongues intertwined. Caroline gives a small moan and bits his lower lip. Klaus growls in response and his hands roam her backside. Suddenly, the door flew open which caught them off guard.
"See, that's where they were," Kol said with a smirk to the three small children. The kids ran in.
"Remind me to teach him a lesson later sweetheart," Klaus whispered.
"It's okay Nik," Caroline said as she looked at him asking him to let it go.
"Daddy, are the bad guys gone?" Zane asked.
"Yes they are," Klaus said and smiled at his kids.
"Who wants to help out with the party?" Caroline said.
"We're having a party?" Eliza said as her eyes lit up with excitement. Caroline smiled and nodded. "I want to help Mommy!" Eliza held Caroline's hand walked out the door. Klaus looked at his two ladies and smiled; like mother, like daughter.
"Come on you two," Klaus said to his sons.
"Daddy, could you please tell us how you defeated the bad guys," Noah asked.
"Yes, I want to know too!" Zane said.
"Alright then, come here," Klaus said and he took his sons onto his lap. He started telling the story right from the beginning.
Caroline quickly called up a few restaurants and ordered food. Kol and Stefan went and got the liquor. The party was in full swing. An opaque pitcher of blood from the blood bags was put with the alcohol. Rebekah made sure that the children were occupied with many games and their favourite foods. Soon it was bedtime and the kids were put to sleep. Rebekah mainly wanted to keep them away from Kol who was drunk out of his mind. The only way he remained seated was if Bonnie was sitting on his lap. One by one, everyone started to retire to their rooms.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The next morning everyone had work to do. Elena and Jeremy decided to rebuild the Gilbert house while Stefan and Damon wanted to rebuild the Salvatore house. Caroline was more than hospitable allowing them to live at the mansion until they were finished building their homes. Stefan worked out a plan for the Salvatore house with Rebekah and Damon. Rebekah wanted white pillar and large garden with a pond.
"Seriously, white pillars?" Damon said. "What are we? Living in Rome?"
"I want them so we are going to have them," Rebekah said through her teeth.
"Damon," Stefan said. "We're going to have the garden with white pillars." Rebekah smiled as she looked at her husband. Damon rolled his eyes as he looked at Elena who just shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't much into house interior and exterior designing.
"Well I want it like it was before," Damon said.
"We are not going to build a dark dingy boarding house," Rebekah said.
"Sorry, but Rebekah is right. We have to think about Aden and Arianna," Stefan said.
"Fine; do it your way," Damon said glaring at Rebekah who gave him a victory smirk.
Stefan and Damon set out to build the Salvatore house. Finn and Sage set out on a tour around the world. Finn had been stuck in a box most of his life and then killed; so Sage wanted to show him what he missed for the past thousand years from all around the world.
Jeremy had talked to contractors for the Gilbert house and April was on the phone setting a date for a moving truck to move all their things to Mystic Falls. Elena walked around with her two nieces and didn't really care about the house or anyone else.
Elijah and Katherine sat in the library reading a story to Aden, Arianna, Eliza and Zane. Matt and Tasha had returned to their home and Liz went back to hers. Klaus was getting the three bedrooms ready for his kids along with all the other rooms that were not quite finished. Caroline and he had talked about this yesterday night. They had agreed to do a mural on one wall and paint the other three walls a neutral palate according to their children's likes. Klaus looked at the blank walls. His mind was as blank as the walls. He really didn't know a lot about his kids yet. What would they want on their walls that they could look at day after day and not get bored? From the time he had spent with them, he knew Zane loved sports and adventure. Eliza loved anything to do with princesses and Noah loved art; but what kind of art? Slowly, the door creaked open and Noah walked in.
"Can I help you Daddy?" Noah said as he walked to stand beside him.
"I think that's a great idea," Klaus said as he smiled at his son. "But are you sure you don't want to listen to your Uncle Elijah's stories?"
"No, I want to help you," Noah said.
"Okay," Klaus said as he ruffled his son's light brown curly hair. It reminded him of how he did that to Henrik all the time. "So first, I need to paint Zane's room. Your Mum and I decided that we would do a mural on one of the walls and paint the other three sides the same. Do you have any idea of what kind of mural Zane would like?"
"Well Zane likes sports and adventure but most of all, he loves speed. Anything fast! He loves racing cars! How about we do a racing car with a city skyline in the background?" Noah said as he took a piece of paper that was on the floor and started drawing. "Perhaps, we can do the car so it looks 3D like it's jumping out of the wall like that," Noah said as he drew it out.
Klaus looked at his son dumbfounded and the picture he had drawn. It seemed like Noah had taken on his artistic abilities. If he was this good at the age of seven, wonder what he would be like later on.
"That's looks amazing!" Klaus said. "Where did you learn to draw like that?"
"I always like to draw and Grandmother saw my drawing and put me in art classes further develop my talent. I won all my school art competitions and they even asked to put up one of my drawings at the World's Young Artists exhibition but Grandmother had refused at the time saying something about it not being safe,' Noah said.
Klaus couldn't thank his mother more at this moment. She had done what any parent would have and even more. She had encouraged the development of their talents. Now that he really thought about it, his mother could have put a curse on his children too binding their wolf side but she didn't. She had let them grow as naturally as she could along with keeping them safe.
"Well, this seems like a brilliant idea for Zane's room. What about Eliza? Should we do a castle, some ponies and a rainbow?" Klaus said as he looked at Noah who just stared back at him with his green-bluish eyes like he was out of his mind.
"Dad, I know Eliza loves princesses and that kind of stuff but she likes fairies more. I would suggest we do a forest scene with the fairies up in the trees; like a mystical forest," Noah said.
"Okay, and how about you?" Klaus said slightly giving up on guessing. He would prefer that his children like what he did for them genuinely rather than pretend to like it. He had seen TV shows where the kids would pretend to like present and so on.
"My favourite place... well my second favourite place…maybe combined," Noah said.
"Where is that?" Klaus said.
"It's our home in Scotland. I usually sat under my favourite tree in our backyard and drew or played the flute. From where I sat I could see the forest rimming our backyard fence and the mountains in the distance," Noah said as he remembered every detail.
"We can go live there," Klaus said as he looked at Noah. He needed a glimpse of that image in his mind.
"No I rather stay here in our home," Noah said.
"Noah, can I see that image in your mind?" Klaus said. He didn't want to just barge into his son's mind.
"See?" Noah said. "How?"
"Well I have the ability to see within the minds of people when they are not on vervain," Klaus said. He wouldn't hear the end of this if Caroline found out but he needed to know.
"Does it hurt?" Noah said innocently.
"No, absolutely not but you know what I just had a better idea. Why don't you draw me that picture," Klaus said as he handed his son his sketch book. This way safer and he knew by looking at Noah's ability that he would do justice to that image in his mind.
"Okay," Noah said as he took the sketch book and began to draw. Klaus opened the paint can and started the neutral light blue palate on Zane's room.

Caroline and Rebekah took this time and went on a massive shopping spree. Everyone needed clothes she especially had to think about the triplets and their need for extra clothes. They seemed to rip their clothes every time they transformed into wolves. Sometimes just thinking about how many times they have ripped out of their clothes made Caroline want to pull her hair out. It was such a waste of clothes but Klaus didn't really care of the wastage as long as the kids were living up to their full potential. He wanted them to have every opportunity and live freely without any constraints; and she couldn't agree more.
Rebekah had noticed how particular Arianna was with her wardrobe and Aden was with his hair. Recently, she had noticed that Aden was growing and styling his hair just like Stefan. It made her want to laugh reminding her of the time when Klaus said that Stefan had funny hair back in the twenties.
"What are you smiling about?" Caroline said as she came and stood beside Rebekah. They were looking at girl's clothes.
"Aden's hair; have you noticed how much it is starting to resemble Stefan?" Rebekah said. Caroline laughed.
"Yup! Like father, like son," Caroline said and they laughed some more. "So what did you guys plan for the new Salvatore house?"
"We've separated the house into three wings. One of the wings is Stefan, me and the kids. The second wing is Damon and Elena and the third wing is the guest wing. The basement will be similar to the Mikaelson Mansion with the laundry room, home theatre and game room. Main floor will consist of family room, living room, dining room, library, studies for each brother, kitchen and pantry," Rebekah said.
"That's great! Don't forget ultra sound proof walls," Caroline said.
"I think that was number one on the list," Rebekah said with a smile.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Caroline walked with her three kids up the stairs to their wing. Klaus was finally finished doing all three of them and texted her to bring them up.
"Come on, come on! Hurry!" Zane said excitedly as he ran up the stairs.
"Okay, okay!" Caroline said as she walked up the stairs after them.
Klaus was waiting for them in the middle of the hallway with a dark Henley shirt and jeans. He smiled as he saw his family come into view.
"Daddy! Can we see my room first?" Eliza said as she ran into her father's arms.
"Sure sweetheart, if everyone else is okay with it," Klaus said.
"Okay with me," Noah said with a smile.
"Sure," Zane said. He just wanted to get on with it.
"Okay then, here we go," Klaus said as he walked to the second door and put his daughter down in front of it. "Go on," he encouraged her to open the door.
Eliza opened the door and was amazed at her room. It was fabulous! There was a four poster bed in the middle of the room in light green. The floor was a dark mahogany hard wood. The walls were a pale green and there was a large French window with light green curtains and a ledge with pillows. The best part was the mural on the wall. It was a mystical forest with many shades of greens. There were cute fairies with flower crowns playing amongst the branches. Her name which was originally carved into her crib now hung on the wall in silver and pink. All the furniture in the room matched her bed but also went with the mystical forest theme.
"Wow Daddy! This is so cool!" Eliza said as she jumped on to her bed. "I love it! Thank you!"
"I'm glad you love it," Klaus said as he kissed her head. "But I couldn't do it without Noah's help."
"Thanks Noah!" Eliza as she hugged her brother.
"This is amazing Nik," Caroline said as she looked around.
"Now can we see my room," Zane said also amazed by his sister's room. He wondered what his looked like.
"Sure, let's go," Klaus said as he picked up Zane and walked into the other room.
"Wow! This is amazing!" Zane said as he hopped down from his father's arms and looked around his room.
The room was a light blue with a bed with a dark blue frame. All the other furniture matched the bed. His room also had a large French window with a ledge and dark blue curtains. The mural on the wall was a race car that looked like it was racing in the room. The night skyline was visible in the background. Again, his name which was originally on his crib was now, painted in dark blue with gold highlight giving it a 3D effect, hung on the wall. It overall showed Zane in every aspect of it.
"This is incredible!" Caroline said as she looked around the room. "Now I can't wait to see this baby's room."
Caroline picked up Noah and walked to the next one. She opened the door to find a room with a light grey palate. Everything was so neutral in colour. He had a white bed frame and white curtains. All the furniture matched with the bed. Noah's name also hung on the wall in white and silver. However, the mural took her breath away. There were beautiful mountain ranges with the sky above and forest nearby. There was a giant tree in the left front which seemed very close. Near the woods, there was a family of wolves. It was there family.
"Wow! This looks even better than my drawing," Noah said.
"I beg to differ. I think the drawing was way better," Klaus said as he stood behind Caroline and Noah.
"Where is this place?" Caroline said as she looked at every detail of the mural.
"It's the backyard of our Scotland house," Noah said. "With a personal addition," he smiled. He had combined his two favourite places in the world; his family and his Scotland home.
"It's beautiful!" Caroline said. "We'll have to go back and see this place sometime."
"Cool!" Eliza and Zane said together as they entered Noah's room.
"It's our house in Scotland," Eliza said excitedly.
"Daddy, what about the other room?" Zane said. He was curious about the nursery.
"Let's take a look," Klaus said as he led then out of the room and into the nursery.
The walls had remained the same however, now the nursery had three desks put by the window. All their toys and games were in the closet. There was a ceiling high book self full of children's books. There were couches where they could sit and read.
"It's a place where you can hang out with your friends; do your homework so on," Klaus said.
"Nik, this is fantastic!" Caroline said as she looked around.
"Thanks, love," he said as his hands wrapped around her waist from behind and he rested his chin on her shoulder. Caroline leaned back into him and put her hands on top of his. This was going to be their life now: their kids, this home and them.

Rebekah and Caroline got everything ready for the night out with the whole family. They thought it would be nice to have a picnic at the open field. They were packing the pasta for the kids when Katherine walked in twirling her curly hair with her fingers.
"What's that for?" Katherine said as she opened the fridge door and grabbed the "special juice" jug.
"We are all going out on a picnic," Caroline said as she gave Katherine sly smile.
"Now what was that look for?" Katherine didn't miss it.
"Well I think someone was having the time of her life," Caroline smirked and then giggled. Katherine pretended like she didn't know what Caroline was talking about.
"What do you mean?" Katherine poured the maroon coloured juice into a mug and took a sip.
"Well, from the smudges of red on your neck and the way you came into the kitchen twirling your hair; I would say you just went on a special roller coaster ride with a man with impeccable dressing abilities," Caroline said. Katherine smiled and shied away.
"As much as I would prefer not to talk about any of my brother's intimate lives; from that look on your face that says you are just coming down from a euphoric high," Rebekah said and then laughed.
"Oh I want to hear this," Kol walked into the kitchen smiling. "Tell me, what fun have I missed?"
"Never mind," Katherine said as she walked out of the kitchen downing her drink quickly. "All go let Elijah know of our plans."
"Why did she leave?" Kol said walking over to the kitchen island. He dipped his fingers into the chocolate cream pie. "Mmmmm this is delicious darling." Caroline slapped his hand away before he could double dip.
"Kol, leave it for the picnic," Caroline said.
"Sorry, no matter how many times we try to teach him manners over the years, it doesn't seem to sink in," Rebekah said.
"Hahaha very funny Bekah," Kol said. "I'm going to go find my nieces and nephews. At least they appreciate me," Kol said and walked out of the kitchen.
Caroline and Rebekah rolled their eyes and laughed. Kol was never going to change except for a certain witch, who manages to tame him well.
Soon everyone gathered at the front door. Caroline started fussing with Eliza's jacket and hat.
"Mommy, please stop. You're ruining my hair," Eliza said.
"Stand still munchkin, I don't want you to get cold," Caroline said. "Your hair looks fine."
Klaus couldn't help but smile watching Caroline and Eliza bicker. He helped Noah zip up and Zane find his other shoe. When he looked back at them, Caroline was now fixing Eliza's hair, who was standing there with a pout on her face.
"There, there, it looks perfect now," Caroline said. Eliza walked over to the mirror and looked satisfied with her hair except took a small part and brought it to the front.
"Okay, sweetie time to go," Caroline said ushering them out the front door. At this rate the food would probably go cold. Klaus comes and puts his arms around Caroline.
"It's okay love, it will all work out," he said. Caroline smiled and nodded. She was becoming worked up over nothing.
Rebekah walked over to where Damon and Aden were standing. It seemed like a very intense conversation but due to everyone bickering everywhere, she could make out what they were saying.
"I guess you're right kid," Damon said as he went down on his knees.
"Told you Uncle Damon," Aden smiled and put his foot forward.
"What's going on?" Rebekah came up to them but none of them said anything.
"They just had a bet Mommy," Arianna said.
"What kind of bet?" Rebekah asked as she raised her eyebrows at them.
"Well Uncle Damon wanted to know if Aunt Elena…" Arianna started.
"Okay, we'll stop here. Here Aden, let me tie your shoe," Damon said. He quickly tied Aden's shoe lace and walked out the door. Rebekah looked at him confused. What was his problem? Suddenly, her attention was drawn to her daughter who patted her arm. Rebekah smiled picked up Arianna. Arianna put her hands around her mother's ear and whispered,
"Uncle Damon wanted to know if Aunt Elena loved him enough to marry him so he kind of got us to find out," Arianna said.
"Then what was the bet?" Rebekah said.
"Well, before we even did our investigation, Aden said that she did and Uncle Damon said she didn't so they had a bet," Arianna said.
"Then what did he win?" Rebekah said suddenly very curious.
"Well Uncle Damon would have to tie his shoe laces until he proposes and that Aden would write the first part of his proposal," Arianna giggled as she whispered into her mother's ears.
Rebekah laughed. Her two little monkeys were too smart for Damon Salvatore.
"I like to hear that proposal," Rebekah said as she put Arianna down. "Let's go or we'll never get to the field.
The whole family finally made it the field. Everyone helped put out the picnic blanket and passed around the food. Once everyone was done, Klaus stood up along with Caroline.
"We have an announcement to make," Klaus said as he looked at Caroline, who smiled back at him. "We have decided to get married two months from now."
Everyone cheered and all the kids came up and gave them hugs.
"Finally man," Stefan said as he hugged them both.
"At least there are no pregnancies to get in the way," Rebekah said as she hugged Caroline and then Klaus.
Everyone else congratulated them as well. Suddenly, Klaus saw something being thrown at him. His vampire abilities immediately came into play and he caught it. He looked at it in his hands. It was a football. He looked in the direction it came from and saw Stefan smiling at him. It brought back the good old memories when Stefan and Caroline had come to the past.
"I believe we have a game to play," Stefan said.
"You bet mate," Klaus said as he threw the ball back.
"Hey Rebekah and I are playing as well this time," Caroline said and Rebekah nodded.
"It's not like the women have to sit on the side line and watch," Rebekah said.
"You're right Bekah. Come on now, let's make the teams," Kol said.
They got into teams with Stefan, Rebekah, Damon and Elena against Kol, Caroline, Klaus and Elijah. Katherine, Bonnie and the kids sat on the sidelines to intently watch the game and keep score. The game started Rebekah popped the ball backed to Stefan who then looked out trying to find someone to pass it to. It was such a rapid play that it was hard to catch when and how Caroline had come knocked Stefan down completely.
"Ha! Pay back from before," Caroline said as she stood up.
"Nice Care," Stefan said and groaned as if he was in pain.
"You big baby," Rebekah said as she stood beside Caroline. "Don't you recall it to hurt more when we were humans" she said to Caroline.
"It sure did," Caroline said as she put her hands on her hips.
"Let him be," Klaus said as he extended a hand to Stefan. Stefan took his hand and stood up.
The game continued; this time to ball was with Kol who popped it back to Klaus who immediately threw it down the field. Elijah caught the ball midfield and ran down for a touchdown.
"That's my man," Katherine said as she watched Elijah. "He's so…"
"Katherine," Bonnie stopped her from saying anything further.
"What?" Katherine said. Bonnie gestured to all the kids who were sitting around them. "Oh."
The game continued and soon it was nightfall. They decided to stop the game because Damon started complaining how there were more originals on one team and the Barbie on his team was just a beginner.
Everyone lay down side by side looked out at the night sky which was full of stars.

One Month Later
Caroline walked around her house with a laundry basket in one hand and the phone in the other. It was early morning and Klaus had just gone to drop the kids off to school. They had decided to go with the private school nearby. Rebekah and Stefan had put Arianna and Aden into the same school. Klaus had suggested it saying that it would be easier to compel everyone in case of an emergency or some supernatural ability got out of hand with the kids. Caroline never thought her life would feel so human. She and Klaus got up early this morning to get the kids ready. It was their routine now, Caroline got the kids ready and Klaus made breakfast. Lunch was provided at school so they didn't have to worry about packing anything.
"How's it going honey?" her Mom's voice brought her back from the morning errands.
"It's going Mom," Caroline said as she dropped the dirty laundry down the chute.
"You sound a little tired," Liz said.
"Yeah, it's a lot the work getting them ready for school. I just need time to get used to it though,"
"Tell me about it sweetie,"
"I went to public school so you didn't have to worry about my uniform and these three, I'm always struggling with their ties in the morning. Did you have to do this with them in Scotland?"
"No, luckily I got to make the breakfast. Bonnie and Esther took care of their uniforms," Liz said.
"Well Klaus makes the breakfast and I get them ready for school. It's becoming a little stressful with all the wedding planning going on," Caroline said.
"I thought you guys had finalized everything."
"We did but I still have to draw up a plan for the backyard and how I want it done,"
"Caroline you can't control everything. Just hire a designer and leave it to them," her mother said.
"Mom! I'm finally getting married and I want it done my way."
"Sure, anyways what time are you dropping the kids off?" Liz said.
"Around 4:30pm," Caroline rolled her eyes to her mother's 'sure'. She didn't really care now that she has grandkids, it's all about them.
"Okay, see you then."
"Bye Mom," Caroline said and hung up the phone. She finally started cleaning the kitchen when Klaus walked in through the door.
He walked into the kitchen and watched Caroline zoom around collecting dirty dishes and utensils and putting them into the sink. She had been a bit stressed with the kids starting school and the wedding in less than a month. It was strange for them to do such trivial human things. He never thought that in a thousand years that he was going to be a family man. His past has always been about breaking the curse, doppelganger, making more hybrids, punishing those who were against him, finding the cure so no one would use it on him; he never thought that he would have a simple human life. Then there was Caroline; she was more than what he could have asked for. Sometimes she made him feel so human that he forgot that he was in fact a hybrid. They both were hybrids. He wondered what she thought. She was merely nineteen in human age which was still kind of a teenage mom situation. However, she was so mature; almost seemed his age. Weren't they a couple? He could help but laugh at her stress cleaning the counters.
"Oh you're back," she said as she put away the cloth.
"I am."
"Kids get to school on time?"
"Yes," he laughed at her concentrated face.
"Why are you laughing?" she looked at him with stern green eyes.
"Nothing love," he smiled. "Though I feel someone is in need of a little de-stressing," he said as he picked her up and flung her over his shoulder.
"Nik," Caroline giggled as Klaus vamp sped them to their wing and into their bed room.
He put her down onto the bed and quickly took his jacket off. He came onto her, his lip attacking hers. She responded to his lips with her own opening her mouth allowing him to explore hers.
Her hands travelled under his shirt pulling him closer and wrapping her legs around his waist. He groaned feeling her so close to him. Her tongue battled with his for dominance as her hands came up and tangled into his hair holding him to her. He kissed her down her neck and shoulders. He ripped her shirt off giving him full view of the lacy blue bra she was wearing. He swiftly undid it and threw it down and took her breast into his mouth while he teased her other one with his hand. She moaned as her hips arched forwards. She undid his belt and pants and tore off his boxers.
"Hey," he said.
"Pay back for ripping my shirt," she smiled and pulled his mouth back to hers. He smiled as he kissed her. He kissed her down her chest and stomach and then pulled down her lacy blue thong. He pushed into her as he kissed her again. Their bodies move in perfect rhythm. It was becoming a normal thing for Caroline's fangs to come out when she was close. She pushed forward so now they were in a lotus position and she plunged her fangs into his neck. She could feel his fang piercing into her skin but was clouded by the heightened emotions that were playing fireworks in her head.
She finally let go and placed a kiss where she had bit him. Then fell back onto the bed with her on top of him. His fingers weaved through her hair as they came down from their high.
"That was amazing," Caroline said as placed a kiss on his cherry lips.
"You bet, it feels like the first every time," Klaus said as he smiled at her.
"Thank you," she said.
"For what love?"
"For distracting me or should I say for this de-stressing session."
"Well, I have to say that it's interesting being called a distraction and I wouldn't mind having another few rounds of this de-stressing session," he said as he passionately kissed her again.

Two Weeks before the Wedding
"Zane!" Caroline called her son. "Come up here right now!"
Zane quickly climbed the stairs and stood in front of his mother.
"Yes Mom," Zane said.
"I had asked you to clean your room. Look at it! It's a complete mess. Zane we're having the wedding in two weeks. We're going to the have guest in this house. Please clean your room," Caroline said as she stood in front of him with her hands on her hips.
"Mom, I'll do it later," he said and started to walk away.
"Not so fast young man," Caroline quickly came and stood in front of him. "Clean you room now. Eliza and Noah already did their rooms when I asked all of you to do it this past Saturday."
"I don't want to do it right now. We're playing X-Box," Zane said whining to his mother.
"Zane Stefan Mikaelson, if you do not clean your room right now; so help me God, there will be no X-Box for you for a whole week," Caroline said sternly.
From the look on Zane's face, he looked thoroughly angry. His breathing had increased a notch and so had his heart beat. Without further noticed his clothes ripped off and there stood a light grey wolf. Caroline rolled her eyes; the perks of being a parent to supernatural children.
"Zane, turn back right now," Caroline said. Zane wagged his tail and trailed down the stairs. Caroline looked like she was going to pull her hair out. "Zane! Zane! Come back this instance!" She went down after him.
Klaus came and stood in front of the stairs and looked at a very happy light grey wolf wagging his tail. He smiled but then saw a very angry Caroline walking down the stairs.
"Zane Stefan Mikaelson, this is your second warning. Change back and clean your room or you will not be playing any X-Box for a month," she said looking down at him. The wolf shied away behind his father.
"Sweetheart, I'll take care of it," Klaus said as he picked up Zane into his arms.
Caroline looked at him, her green eyes piercing into his, and then the little wolf in his arms for a moment. "Okay," she said sternly as she walked into the study to finalize other wedding details. Klaus and Caroline had learned early into parenting that they should not go along with everything their kids said otherwise nothing would ever get done and there would be chaos. Esther and Liz had done a great job with them but when their parents became in charge, it's like they were trying to get away with things they usually wouldn't with their grandmothers. Klaus and Caroline had to learn to put their foot down no matter how cute they looked and whether they cried or threw tantrums.
"Zane turn back," Klaus said as he looked into his son's eyes. The little grey wolf continued to wag his tail and then licked him. Klaus smiled. "That's not going to work son, come on, change back. Cleaning your room can't be that bad."
Just then the door bell rang. "That must be the pizza," Caroline called from the study.
"I got it," Klaus said and opened the door.
"Pizza delivery," the delivery boy said holding a large stack of pizza boxes.
"Yes thank you. If you don't mind placing them on this table here," Klaus said as he pulled out his wallet. "How much will that be?"
"Hundred and seventeen dollars," the boy said.
"Here you go," Klaus placed two hundred dollars in his hands.
"Gee thanks sir and nice dog," the boy said. Zane started to growl at the delivery boy for calling him a dog. Klaus smirked and shut the door.
Klaus walked up the stairs and into Zane's room. He put him on his bed and sat down beside him.
"Is it really worth getting your Mother upset over just a little bit of mess? I know you have the ability to do this within no time," Klaus said as he sat down beside his son. "You know I would understand if it was a sports game and it was airing live but this is a game which you could play again anytime you know? Zane, sometimes we have to do things that we may not like but they are necessary even if it's a trivial thing like cleaning your room."
Zane jumped off the bed and phased back. He quickly got his clothes out and put them on.
"Dad, it's so boring cleaning my room. I mean I could be doing so much more," Zane said.
"I know but as boring as it might be, it still needs to be done," Klaus said firmly. "I don't think you want to lose a whole month of X-Box?"
"No I don't. Why does Mom have to be so…"
"Persistent?"
"Yeah!"
"But she does everything for your happiness. She wants you to be the best you can be. She doesn't like getting mad at you, in fact she ends up crying after for being so harsh on you," Klaus said.
"I feel bad. I don't want her to cry," Zane said.
"Me neither, so why don't we clean up this room and those shreds of clothes that you left in the hallway. Then perhaps you can go to your mother and apologise for your misbehaviour," Klaus said as he looked directly into his son's eyes. Zane nodded and started picking up his clothes and folding them.

Rebekah and Stefan now stood in their newly finished home. It was done very fast compared to others houses built but these were vampires building it. They didn't need to wait for cranes and other equipments that humans would normally need.
"Mom can I go to Zane's house?" Aden said looking at his mother.
"Have you finished your homework?" Rebekah said.
"No."
"Well, you must finish your homework first and then see if Uncle Damon or your Dad can drop you off," Rebekah said as she prepared dinner. Aden huffed and walked away to his room. Rebekah looked on after him. He definitely inherited her temper and she hated not letting him do everything he wanted but she and Stefan had seen the worst of it in the beginning.
They gave Arianna and Aden everything they wanted from toys, clothes and junk foods. They had let them do whatever they wanted until it was total chaos. They didn't listen to either of them and then one day Liz came over to visit. She was outraged at what she saw. She got the kids to clean their rooms and start their homework. Liz then sat her and Stefan down and explained that we weren't their servants. They had to put their foot down and that they were allowed to say no. It was as if their kids knew their weaknesses. Liz warned them about this. Rebekah knew it broke Stefan's heart when he had to refuse Arianna when she wanted to watch T.V. instead of doing her homework however, they were getting better and the kids knew their limits.
"Why do you always bring the mood down?" Damon said as he walked into the kitchen. "They are just kids."
"Damon don't start. You remember our first week don't you," Rebekah challenged. Damon couldn't believe what the twins were capable of doing.
"Never mind, you know best," Damon said as he got a mug and filled it up with blood.
"Thank you. Anyways, will Elena be over for dinner?" Rebekah said.
"No, she said she was helping the girls with their art project," Damon said.
"That reminds me, can you please help Aden with his math homework please."
"Why me? Ask your husband!"
"Well my dear husband is currently helping my daughter with her science project for the science fair which is tomorrow and since you have nothing better to do, might as well help your nephew," Rebekah said.
"Okay, sister-in-law," Damon said rolling his eyes as he walked towards Aden's room. He knew well not to fall into Aden's traps of doing something else.
Just then the front door bell rang. Rebekah quickly washed her hands and rushed to the front door.
"I got it," she said as she opened the front door. There standing on the other side of the threshold was Alaric Saltzman with lady with straight dark hair and intense blue eyes.
"Hi," Alaric said. "I heard you guys were back."
"Yes, come on in," Rebekah said.
"Hey buddy," Damon said as he came down the stairs and gave Alaric a hug.
"Hey," Alaric said as he hugged him back. "This is my wife Josephine."
"Wife?" Damon said as he looked at Alaric.
"Please call me Jo," Jo said as she shook his hand and then Rebekah's hand.
"Alaric!" Stefan said as he walked down the stairs with Arianna on his back.
"Stefan! So good to see you man and wow! She's grown so much," Alaric said as he looked at Arianna.
"Yeah it's been seven years!" Stefan said bitterly.
"Aden!" Rebekah called. Her son came running out of his room and down the stairs.
"Say hello to our guest," Rebekah said. She didn't want to be known as the mother who didn't teach her kids any manners.
"Hello," Aden said.
"Hello, this is..." Alaric had forgotten their names from the last time he had seen them.
"This is our son Aden and our daughter Arianna," Stefan said.
"Son? Daughter?" Jo said as she looked at the twins.
"I'll explain later," Alaric said.
"Yup, Ric's right. It's quite an interesting story if I do say so myself," Damon said.
"I hope you guys will stay for supper," Rebekah said as she made her way to the kitchen.
"Of course," Alaric said as he looked at Jo who was still a little taken back.
"Let's go get a drink. So what you been up to man?" Damon said as he led them to the bar.
"Nothing much. I had been looking for you guys for a while now but then the other day I called Matt who caught me up to date. I'm teaching as a professor as Whitmore and Jo is a doctor at the Whitmore hospital," Alaric said as he took a glass of Bourbon from Damon. "Oh, and Jo's a witch."
"Now that makes more sense. I mean I was like what is an original like you doing with a human," Damon said. "Knowing you, you would probably be running away."
"Oh he did until he realized that I'm a witch. However, still not as interesting as vampires having children," Jo said catching onto Damon's snarky comments.
"Long story short, my brother Stefan went back in time when Rebekah was human, they had babies and he brought them back. I'm sure Ric will fill you in with the details later," Damon said.
"So where's Elena?" Alaric said.
"She's at young Gilbert's house with her nieces," Damon said.
"Oh yes, Scarlett and Lily," Alaric said. "Jeremy has done well."
As the two friends caught up and Alaric constantly apologising for Damon's comments, Rebekah finally called for dinner.

Wedding
Caroline stood in front of the mirror in her A-line, white fitted wedding dress. It was a tube with a sweetheart neckline and full of stone work. There was a long train with pearls in the back. Her golden hair was in an up-do with intricate curls and blue sapphires. Her makeup was done naturally with red lips. Something was constantly on her mind that was causing pang in her stomach.
"Caroline, relax. Everything is under control," Bonnie said as she fixed the front of her evening blue, one-shoulder bridesmaid dress.
"Okay...but are the kids ready?" Caroline said knowing that Bonnie had already gotten them ready before she had come down to her room.
"Yes, they are," Bonnie said.
"Sorry I know I'm acting a little neurotic but..." Caroline was cut off.
"It's probably because you haven't been laid for a week," Katherine said as she walked in.
"Katherine!" Caroline said.
"Hey it's true. I don't know why you even bothered to go live at the Salvatores," Katherine said.
"Well it's tradition that the bride and groom don't see each other before the wedding," Caroline said.
"Did you guys have phone sex?" Katherine wagged her eyebrows. Caroline blushed profusely. "Ah, I guess the cat caught its tongue."
"Katherine let her be," Bonnie said as Elena and Rebekah walked in.
"Here, your phone keeps buzzing," Elena handed Caroline her phone. She had to take it away from her because Caroline was becoming a little edgy.
"Who is it?" Elena asked wondering whether it was the caterer and if should take the phone away.
"Klaus," Caroline blushed.
"I don't want to know what it says," Rebekah turned around.
Caroline looked at the messages in her inbox; there were a number of them but one particularly stood out.
"I can't wait to have you in my arms...
To claim you as my queen
To make you forever mine
To make love to you...I wait for tonight. I Love You! Until then My Love." – K
Caroline could feel the hot pool building up inside her. She wanted to screw the wedding and just go into his room and have her way with him. She didn't think he would complain but this was important. They had waited for this day for so long. Caroline quickly texted back:
"I Love You! And as much as I would want to come into your room right this instance, we've waited for this day for so long. I can't wait to be yours! See you soon! PS I wait for tonight with much anticipation." –C
She pressed send and immediately his response came.
"You're killing me sweetheart but you're right. We've waited for this day for so long. See you soon My Love." –K
All the kids had come filing into the room bickering. Eliza and Arianna were flower girls and were wearing an evening blue fluffy dress with jewels. . Their hair was done in curls in half pony tails. Aden would be escorting the girls down the aisle. Zane and Noah were ring bearers dressed in black suits and light blue shirts and blue tie just like the grooms men. Both of their hair was gelled back.
"Mom do I have to wear the tie?" Zane complained to his Mom.
"Yes, it's only for a few hours," Caroline explained and then looked at Noah who was combing his fingers through his hair. "Who did your hair sweetie?"
"Uncle Kol," Noah said. "It feels really hard Mom."
"It seems like he used a little too much but your hair is longer too. Here let's go fix it," Caroline said.
"I'll take care of it," Katherine offered and walked into the bathroom with Noah.
A second later Stefan walked in with Liz at his side. Liz was wearing a soft blue blouse and skirt with white heels. Stefan was wearing the traditional groomsmen suit but with a white rose. The rest of the groomsmen wore blue roses.
"Oh Caroline! You look great honey," Liz gushed at her daughter.
"Thanks Mom," Caroline said.
"Here, just a finishing touch," Liz took out a bracelet with sapphires. "It was given to me when I got married and now I'm passing it on to you and one day it will go on to Eliza. It goes perfectly with your theme too."
"Thank you Mom, it's beautiful," Caroline said as she took in her mother's gift.
"Care, you look amazing," Stefan said as he kissed her on the cheek. "Are we ready?"
"More than ready," Caroline said.
"Okay then, let's get started,' Stefan said.
Everyone took formation. Rebekah went out first, followed by Elena and then Bonnie. Arianna and Eliza who were escorted by Aden went next with the flowers followed by Zane and Noah who carried a ring each on a silk light blue pillow.
Caroline stood with Stefan on one side and her Mom on the other. This was her moment, their moment. They had been waiting for this moment for technically a thousand years. The music started and they walked forward. Caroline could tell all the audience standing up and looking back at her but she can only see two ocean blue eyes that were looking right at her. She looked into his eyes and saw the love he had for her. She knew that he kept to himself but to her, he was now an open book. There was no hiding any feelings or emotions or burdens. What was hers was his and what was his was hers. The love in his eyes just confirmed the strings that were attached from his heart to hers pulling her towards him with a magnetic force. It was like the pull of gravity and there was no getting away from it. She knew that closely behind him was Elijah, Kol and the place Stefan would soon stand.
They were at the altar and Liz placed Caroline's hand into Klaus and kissed both of them on the cheek. Stefan took his place behind Elijah and Kol. Caroline handed her blue and white rose bouquet back to Bonnie and placed both of her hands into Klaus's hands. She was very lucky to have so many great friends but there was a special reason she chose Bonnie as her maid of honour. Bonnie had done her a great favour that she would never to able to repay. She had protected and raised her children for seven years not caring about her life or anything else.
The ceremony started but neither Klaus nor Caroline cared what was going on around them. It was as if they were immersed in with each other. They made out certain words on vows, and exchange of rings and then finally you may now kiss the bride.
They didn't realize how their lips met but they wanted to stay there forever. They eventually broke the kiss looked on at the cheering audience. Their three kids came and hugged them. They walked down the aisle as man and wife.
There after the reception started. The theme for the reception was also blue and white. The backyard was designed into a starry night with blue drapes and sparkling white centre pieces. At the front table, seated in the centre were Caroline and Klaus with their kids. Everyone else sat at the surrounding tables. Bonnie and Elena went up to do their speech first. They shared funny stories of bossy Caroline from elementary school and how Klaus should beware. They finally ended off with how much they love her are fortunate to have such an awesome friend. The next speech was from Rebekah.
"Hello everyone! I know as much as the any of my siblings that we had no idea that we would see a day when Nik would get married. In fact we wouldn't even dream of it but then this amazing girl came around and caught his attention. At first, I thought it was a phase but it wasn't. She held his attention like no other. She was his waking dream and knowing Nik, he wouldn't admit it. Don't you all agree?"
The audience cheered.
"Thought so! But what I want to say the most is thank you Caroline! Thank you for coming into his life. Thank you for coming into our lives. We were dysfunctional family but you made us one and became a part of us. And yes you too husband!" Rebekah smiled at Stefan who yelled back.
"I love too sweetheart!"
"Last but not the least, I would like to wish you both all the happiness for eternity. To the bride and groom!" Rebekah raised her glass for a toast. Klaus and Caroline both came up and hugged Rebekah thanking her.
Soon it was time for the first dance. Klaus extended his hand to Caroline who immediately took it. They made their way to the dance floor. Her hands came around his neck while hands rested on her waist.
"How are we doing Mrs. Mikaelson?" Klaus whispered into her ear. Caroline smiled.
"Never been better Mr. Mikaelson."
They dance for a bit until Zane and Noah came by and asked to dance with their Mom while Eliza went to her Dad. Soon everyone joined the dance floor and took turns dancing with the bride and groom.
Liz ended up dancing with Klaus. He felt a little nervous as to what she would say to him. How can he convince her that she was the only one for him? At first they just quietly danced.
"You know when I first heard Caroline say that she was having your children. I was frightened knowing what you were capable of and I didn't know what I could possibly do to protect her from you," Liz said. Klaus listened not knowing what would be the most appropriate thing to say. "But then I saw the way you looked at her and protected her. All I want to say is that you are probably the only one who can protect her and I'm glad to call you son-in-law."
"I don't know how to say this but I will always put her before me. She is my life and the mother of my children and I will do everything in my power to keep her safe. Thank you Liz, this mean a lot to me." Klaus said.
The music changed and he again found Caroline in his arms.
"What did my mom say?" Caroline said nervously.
"She gave us more like me her blessings," Klaus smiled at her.
"Really!" Caroline said brightly. Klaus nodded.
"So are you ready to get out of here?" Klaus said.
"In a bit," Caroline said as she rested her head on his shoulders. "I just want to cherish this moment." Klaus held her firmly to him.
"I love you," Caroline said.
"I love you too," Klaus said.
