Chapter 42: Constant Power Shifting Part 1
Normal POV
Around the same time Hiccup and Jack were talking to Drago
Hercules was in deep combat with the others against the Nightmares. However he sees his father, Zeus and the Gods in trouble from the cruel grip of the Titans. He knew he had to do something.
"Pegasus!" He called and whistled. Then out from the sky was a winged horse known a Pegasus, with the same name. Hercules jumped on his back. "Let's go boy!" He said as they leaped off into the sky.
Zeus was still being frozen from one side and burned from the other. Since water and lava make hard rock and stone. Of course this was Titan's power and magic that can rival God power and magic. Zeus struggled with all his strength and fury.
"I swear to you, Hades, when I get out of this-!" Zeus began his threat.
"I'm the one giving orders now, bolt boy." Hades interrupted. Zeus was then finally buried under the mound. Hades then materializes a chair and a glass. "And I think I'm gonna like it."
"Don't get too comfortable, Hades!" A familiar voice shouts. Hades spits out his drink and looks around furiously. He saw Hercules, flying down with Pegasus.
"Oh I completely forgot about him!" He hissed.
"This oughta even the odds!" Hercules shouted as he swooped down to the Wind Titan, Stratos and punched him square in the gut. Forcing him to cough up the Gods from his stomach.
"Hercules!" Ares cheered.
"Yeah, Hercules! Thank you, man!" Hermes cheered.
"Get them!" Hades shouted. The Pyros goes to breath molten lava all over Hercules, but misses and covers Hades in it instead. "Whoa! Hey! No! Get him, not me! Him! Follow the fingers! Him!" An ice storm from the Hydros, which was aimed at Hercules again freezes HADES instead. "The yutz with the horse." Hercules then jumps off of Pegasus and opens up the mound and frees Zeus. Hades frees himself from the ice in a fiery rage.
"Thank you, my boy." Zeus smiles at his son sincerely. Hephaestus was able to make more thunder bolts for Zeus. Only this time more powerful then ever. "Now, watch your old man work!" Zeus chuckled.
"Uh-oh." Lythos stared in horror. Zeus throws two thunder bolts which made impact on the twin heads. The two heads explode, killing Lythos instantly. The other Titans start to retreat, fearing the same thing might happen to them.
"Guys, get your titanic rears in gear and kick some Olympian ASS!" Hades demanded. But Pegasus blows on Hades' head and the blue flames that serve as his hair go out. "Whoa, is my hair out?" Pegasus laughed good and hard. Stratos however tried to sneak from behind and trap Hercules in his wind tunnel hoping that he'll make his lungs collapse. But Hercules catches the Stratos and sucks all the other Titans in. He throws them into the sky where they explode, instantly killing them. Both He and Zeus cheer and high-five each other
"Hah!"
"Whoo-hoo!"
"Thanks a ton, Wonderboy!" Hades sarcastically shouted as he fled. "But at least I've got one swell consolation prize." Hercules then gets back on Pegasus and flies off to chance Hades. "A friend of yours who's DYING to see me."
"Meg!" Hercules stared in horror. Hades' chariot then stopped flying and remained levitating in mid-air. Hades had a hostage with him. Meg.
"Hercules!" Meg calls out to him.
"Hades you bastard! Let her go!" Hercules hissed.
"Of course." Hades smiled. "Wrong choice of words." He then tosses her off the chariot. Meg screams in terror as she falls to her death.
"Meg!" Hercules then sore down to save her. They were falling very fast and Hercules was trying his very best to save her from falling. Back in at the Empire State Building in a black and quiet room, the Fates watch Megara falling to her doom through their crystal. Clotho holds Megra's thread. Hercules was just inches away from saving her. But the instant they crash on the streets on Manhattan, Atropos cuts the thread. Hercules then recovers from the fall. But then he sees Megara lying on the ground of the huge crater. "Meg!" He crawls over to her. But he is too late. She is dead. "Meg no." He whimpered as he held her lifeless body in his hands.
"Well…" Hades smirked. "I think it's about time we wrapped this up." He then snapped his fingers. Clotho hold up his thread of life, and Atropos goes to cut it, but the thread suddenly starts to shine, and the scissors won't cut it.
"What the-?" Atropos stared in shock.
"What's the matter with these scissors?" Lachesis grabbed the scissors and looked at them closely.
"The thread won't cut!"
Hercules is glowing bright. Hades stares in shock and disbelief at what he is seeing.
"This is… this is impossible! You... you... you can't be alive, you'd have to be a, a…" Hades stammers as he tries not to say the obvious conclusion. "A god?" Yes. Hercules has evolved into a god. Hercules then looks up and glares at Hades with pure hate and rage. "Hercules, stop! You can't do this to me. You can't –!" But his plea is cut short by Hercules' hard punch to the face. Sending him flying across the island.
Jack POV
At the same time Hercules tried to save Meg
We were all in a shocked depressed state. But Drago's sinister laughing certainly wasn't helping.
"Now." He began by raising his spear. "Finish them." He hissed. The black alpha dragon inhaled and exhaled a stream on icy breath and it came on top of us.
"No!" Valka rushed over to the colossal ice pillars. "No!" She frantically bashed her hands on the ice. Astrid and the others stare in shock and heartbreak. "Hiccup…" Valka whimpered. But then came the best part. A blue light began shining. Everyone then stared in awe, even Drago. Then in a huge explosion we emerged roaring in pure hate and rage. Me and Toothless' powers went berserk. Hiccup found himself okay and well as he looked at us in awe. Me and Toothless however stared at our targets with pure hate and rage.
"What in the-." Drago stared in disbelief. Toothless then roared with ferocious fury. The Alpha roared back. I just stare at the Alpha with ferocious rage.
"Jack and Toothless are challenging the Alpha!" Hiccup said in disbelief.
"To protect you!" Valka said smiling. I then heard a faint shout of distress in the distance approaching. But I knew who it was. I leapt up into the air and used my staff to whack the approaching scream straight at Drago. It was Hades. I sent him flying straight at Drago, and the two collided with each other hard on the ground.
"Oof! Get off you blithering idiot!" Drago shouted as he pushed off Hades.
"Hey! Watch your mouth! You're speaking to the lord of the dead here!" Hades shouted back. But before they're little argument could continue any further, Hercules crash lands here to join us.
"Hey Herc." I greeted, but still not taking my off of the enemy.
"Hey guys." He responded, doing the same thing. Then Toothless fired very fast and very powerful fireballs to the Alpha. The Alpha tried fighting back but the fast fireballs were too powerful for it to take. This causes his influence over all dragons to ware off. Toothless then roared and all the dragons returned to our side.
"No, no, no, no, no!" Drago frantically said. "No!" He then dashed and leapt on the Alpha's head "Fight back! Fight! Fight!" The Alpha roared at the other dragons, but they didn't listen. They didn't even flinch. "What's the matter with you!?"
"How in the HELL is this even possible!?" Hades snarled in disbelief. I then approached them.
"Let's FINISH THIS!" I shouted at them.
"COME ON, THEN!" Drago shouted in response. Toothless fired more fireballs at the Alpha. Pretty soon all the dragons start firing fireball projectiles at the massive Alpha. Both Drago and Hades ran and hid behind the Alpha's horns for cover. However one of the blasts hits Drago, destroying his cybernetic arm. "FIGHT!" He commanded hid Alpha. But it couldn't. The massive multiple fireball projectiles was pushing the massive Alpha back. But finally it got REALLY angry and then began to attack us. But Toothless let out powerful huge fireball that made a huge impact on the Alpha that one of its tusks broke. The firing stopped and the Alpha backed away in fear. Toothless let out a mighty roar.
"The Alpha protects them all!" Hiccup stated. We we're all impressed. Toothless had become the Alpha of the dragons.
"Hey!" Drago turned to Hades. "I thought you're supposed to be a God!"
"That's not the reason why I'm hiding!" Hades argued. "HE is!" He pointed. Hercules jumped high in the air and landed a good hard strong punch and the Alpha's head. The impact was so deadly that it's head exploded and shattered. Blood bones and guts splattered all over the frozen sea and buildings of New York. Killing it. Both Drago and Hades fell but Hercules caught him. Me? I flew up and caught Dragon. But we weren't done with them. We through them so hard into buildings. Crashing and mowing through building after building, landing blow after blow. After awhile we landed them hard on top of a roof. We both landed there ourselves. Hercules came over and grabbed Hades by the collar.
"Give Meg her life back!" He hissed. But hades just glared at him.
"And what's in it for me, huh junior?" He snarled.
"Give her back NOW!" He shouted.
"GO FUCK SOME OTHER WHORE!" Hades shouted. Not a healthy idea as Hercules began being Hades to a bloody pulp. Part of me wanted to stop him. But I didn't the hate, the rage, I began to enjoy watching our enemies suffer… Wait!? NO! What am I thinking!? I have to stop Hercules from going completely berserk! But before I could Zeus and the other Gods arrived and stopped him.
"Hercules! Stop!" Zeus frantically held Hercules back.
"Let me go!" He shouted. "He took Meg from me! He has to suffer! He has to DIE!"
"No, Hercules!" Zeus said. "You are not Hades! Do not act like him!" He stared into Hercules eyes with sadness. Hercules only glared back at him but then began to go back to a sad face too. He then stopped struggling and collapse into Zeus' arms and cried. "It's okay son. I'm here." Zeus rubbed and patted his back. I felt sorry for both Hiccup and Hercules. They both lost people they loved, just like I did. But then I see Drago reaching into his pocket and taking out some sort of potion and poured it on his spear. But when I realized what he was doing I was too late.
"Hercules, look out!" I tried to intervene to save him. But Drago lunged his spear at Hercules and stabbed him. Time just seemed to slow down as Hercules was stabbed right through. The Gods and myself stared in shock, disbelief, and heartbreak. But Drago and Hades only smirked.
"HERCULES!" We all shouted in unison distraught. Hercules collapsed on the building roof. Lifeless and limbless.
"Fool!" Drago smirked. "Even with all the power in the cosmos, he was till weak and pathetic!" Drago laughed manically. Then it happened again. The rage. The hate. I then let out a huge bellowing, echoing shout as my powers went berserk. Everyone stared in shock.
"What in the…" Drago stared in shock. I then turned and glared at both Hades and Drago. I raised my staff and slammed it into the ground and forming sharp ice pillars which quacking form and pierce right through them. They all gawked in pain.
"N-No… No!" Drago gasped as he struggled to get free from his impalement. Hades struggles too. But I slowly walk over to their dying bodies and glared at them with cold eyes into their dying eyes filled with fear.
"From hell's heart, I stab at thee. For hatred's sake, I spit at thee." I hissed a quote from Moby Dick. Both Hades and Drago then grew silent and lifeless.
I flew back to the others on the streets, with eyes of loss and defeat. Everyone stare at me with concern and sadness too. North walked over to me to try and comfort me. But then he noticed I had a splash of blood on my clothes. He stared in shock and disbelief.
"Jack. What happened?" He murmured to me. I then looked up at him with tears in my eyes. I then collapsed into his arms and started crying.
"I'm sorry… I'm sorry." I whimpered in North's arms. He stroked by back for comfort.
"It's okay Jack. I'm here." He whispered. I needed father tenderness and he was the father figure I needed. Everyone was full of sadness and tears. But then out of nowhere an octopus like mermaid came out of the frozen Atlantic and grabbed Ariel. She screamed in fright and we all turned to see her.
"Ursula!" Triton bellowed in disbelief. Ursula laughed maniacally as she dragged Ariel back to the Atlantic. Eric rushed over to save her.
"So long, lover boy." She smirked, as she jumped back into the Atlantic with Ariel as a hostage.
"Ariel!" Eric shouted as he sees them jump into the water.
