Chapter 43: Constant Power Shifting Part 2

Normal POV

Ursula dragged poor, innocent, helpless Ariel by her wrist as they swam under the Atlantic.

"Poor little princess." Ursula smirked. "It's not you I'm after. I've a much bigger fish to –"

"Ursula, stop!" Triton appeared before her. Holding his triton up at Ursula's neck.

"Why, King Triton! Ha ha ha. How ARE you?" She swooned.

"Let her go." He snarled.

"Not a chance, Triton! She's mine now." She snarled back. She then had her henchmen; or rather "Babies" Flotsam and Jetsam get ahold on Ariel.

"Daddy, I'm sorry! I - I - I didn't mean to. I didn't know -" Ariel struggled and whimpered.

"It's alright, sweetie." Triton interrupted. "These things happen. I'm right here." He assured Ariel. Triton attacks Ursula with a fierce blast from his trident, to no avail. Apparently it was a… sheet of paper? Ursula then laughs manically.

"You see? The content's binding and completely unbreakable, even for YOU. I made it myself." She explained. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some loose ends to tie up."

"Wait, Ursula!" Triton says. "You win. Just promise you'll let my daughter go."

"Of course, I always was a girl with an eye for a bargain. The daughter of the great sea king is a very precious commodity. But… I might be willing to make an exchange for someone even better." She smirks as she uses the glowing sheet of paper to change Ariel's appearance into a weal little creature.

Jack POV

We all looked frantically for any signs of Ariel. But then I saw Eric climbing down the barricades to the ocean.

"Eric! What are you doing?" I called out him.

"Jack, I lost her once. I'm not going to lose her again." He called back.

Normal POV

Ariel was slowly becoming Ursula's property.

"Now! Do we have a deal?" Ursula smirks. She holds up the contract at Triton

"I'm afraid...I have no choice." Triton frowned sadly. Triton's trident glows and signs his name on the contract.

"Ha! It's done then." She says excitingly.

"No . . . Oh, No!" Ariel watches in horror as Triton is reduced to a shriveled monster as Ursula laughs. Ursula then picks up the dropped trident. "Daddy?" She looks down at him.

"At last." Ursula says as she picks up crown. "It's mine." She then manically chuckled low. She never felt so powerful in her life. "Who's the "mighty ruler" of the seas now?" pointing the trident at Triton.

You - You monster! Let him go!" Ariel shouted at her.

"Don't fool with me you little brat!" Ursula snarled. She then grabbed Ariel by the neck. "I'm going to make you watch everything you love die!" She smiled manically, as she uses the triton, pointing at Triton's withered form.

"No. NO! Please don't!" Ariel frantically pleaded. But her plea fell on deaf ears. Ursula charged up the triton and sent a surge of lightning at Triton. Killing him. Ariel was left in wide-eyed shock. Tears rolling down her eyes. "How could you?" She quivered.

"Oh but trust me my dear. I'm just getting started." She smiled evilly. But then a sharp harpoon just nicks Ursula in the arm. She yells and looks to see

Eric.

"Eric!" Ariel frantically called.

"How dare you! Pitiful, insignificant human!" She snarled.

"Eric! Eric look out!" She called.

"After him!" Ursula orders Flotsam and Jetsam to attack Eric. Eric tries to swim to the top for air, but Flotsam and Jetsam grab him. They then spread out to give Ursula a clear shot.

"Say goodbye to your sweetheart. Ursula smirks. But Ariel makes her miss Eric and blast Flotsam and Jetsam. Allowing him to escape. But the two eels blew up in a firing death. "Babies!" She gasped "My poor, little poopsies!" She whimpered at the dead flesh of her henchmen. Then her eyes burned with hate and rage. She then uses the triton to grow into colossal size as Ariel swims to the surface after Eric.

Jack POV

I was still searching frantically for any signs of Eric or Ariel. But then I see two people in the surface up from the water. It was them.

"Eric! Ariel!" I called out to them.

"Eric, you've got to get away from here." Ariel frantically begged as both Eric and Ariel huddle on the surface of the dark water.

"No, I won't leave you." He said as he hugged her tightly. Suddenly bubbles appear around them. Their magnitude grows as Ursula blasts out of the water directly beneath them, splitting them from each other. As she grows bigger and bigger she laughs manically. Both Ariel and Eric jump off her huge head. All of us watching, stared in horror at what we were seeing. They huddle again as the sea witch rises above the water, towering over them. She holds the trident in her hand and smiles evilly.

"You pitiful, insignificant, fools!" Her demonic voice bellowed and echoed.

"Look out!" Eric pointed as her huge tentacles almost smash them.

"Now I am the ruler of all the oceans! The waves obey my every whim!" She bellowed as she displayed her newfound power. She created massive storms and massive tidal waves. "The sea and all its spoils bow to the Dominion's power!" She wreaks havoc, creates a whirlpool and raises some shipwrecks. We all scurried to find higher and safer ground. Me and those who could fly tried scurrying around to help the ground troops as fast as we could. But most perished in the massive floods. Just seeing them being swept away and drowning was heartbreaking to see. Hearing them scream when the massive floods smites them away. I can still hear their cries of anguish. I look out to see thunderstorms shooting down air jets and dragons with strikes of lightning. I can still hear their screams of dying. The massive tsunamis overturned and crushed battleships that JUST arrived.

"ERIC!" Ariel called out to him. But then a huge wave topples him. "ERIC NO!"

"ERIC!" I shouted in despair. Ursula laughed manically and shot Ariel forcing her to fall to the bottom of the whirlpool. Ursula then toys with her, shooting her, but Ariel dodges them. But Ursula was just toying with her, but now decides to just go ahead and kill her.

"So much for true love!" She smiles widely and manically. Ariel stares in horror at what was about to happen next. As Ursula is about to finish Ariel, I finally snap into an uncontrollable rage again. I've had enough lives lost already!

"That's what you think!" I screamed so loudly. That got her attention as a sped really fast towards her. Screaming with rage. I knock the trident out of her hand, as she tries to hit me. It swings into the air but I caught the triton.

"No! It's not possible!" She stared in complete shock and disbelief.

"It's over, Ursula!" I screamed in rage at her.

"That belongs to me!" She snarled at me.

All right, then." I positioned myself with the triton in hand. "You can have it!" I screamed as I darted towards her. Shooting right through, Ursula screams in pain and sinks into the water. She is impaled and dies most horribly.

After awhile things return to normal. Well… almost normal. I looked around at what few men we had left. I saw men on their knees mourning their dead. I could see and hear their whimpering cries of pain and anguish. The Gods were still mourning the loss of their own and their children. Hiccup and Valka stayed cuddled together, shedding tears of loss. I can't blame him. He just lost his father. Astrid and the gang all stood beside them, trying to comfort them. Monger and Gobber stand there too with hands over their hearts. They lost a comrade, a brother, a friend. Our dead were beyond the count of grief. Dead solders, dragons, friends, and loved ones. Especially Ariel losing both her father and lover, Eric. I see Ariel crying on Eric's drowned dead body. I walk over to her and kneel next to her.

"Ariel." I whisper. She looks up at me with tears in her eyes. "I swear. I will make them pay." I gritted my teeth. I then stood up to face the others. "Listen up!" I called out. Everyone stops to look at me. "We are now close to our enemies borders! So those who are willing to fight step forward and prepare! For those who aren't will remain here and recover!" They all nodded as handfuls of men and creatures came forth. "Rapunzel!" I call over.

"Yes." She looked at me with worry. "Do want me to fight? Me and Eugene can!"

"No." I shook my head. "Stay here and help the doctors and medics with the wounded."

"Understood." She nodded. She then ran back to Eugene at the medical center camped out on Manhattan streets. I then turned to the other volunteers.

"Okay then." I began. "From here on out, it's going to get harder. Be ready." I instructed. They all nodded. Before we left I took one more look at the other friends who were still mourning their dead. I knew they needed time. "Let's go." I said. And we all walked down the dark, quiet, dead streets of Manhattan. Lookout Pitch, here I come!

Chapter 43 is done. Man this is getting to intense! Everyone is dying! But they managed to get to Manhattan. Now they're taking the fight to Pitch! Read it, review it, and tell me what you people think. This is just here for people to enjoy. :)
