Chapter 47: The Snow Queen

Normal POV

Everyone at the pole were in complete and total shock at who was being displayed on North's big screen TV. For most it was a shocker. But for some, like Kai and Gerda Arendelle, Pabbie, and Olaf were in complete distraught, shock, and disbelief.

"E-Elsa…" Olaf stared in shock.

"Dear God…" Pabbie stared in disbelief.

"Oh my God…" Kai stared in shock and distraught.

"E-Elsa… My baby…" Gerda stared in distraught, shock, and disbelief. Tears rolling down her face from her eyes.

At the borders of Manhattan, at the base where Monger and Gobber are stationed, everyone was shocked to see Elsa all dark and sinister. Hiccup and his friends most of all. They too were in complete distraught, shock, and disbelief.

"Oh no…" Hiccup murmured to himself.

"Elsa…" Astrid stared in shock.

"You know her?" Monger asked them.

"Yeah. Her name is Elsa Arendelle. She's our friend." Hiccup explained.

"Your friend!?" Monger stared in confusion and disbelief.

"Well yeah, but she looks different." Astrid said.

"Well maybe she betrayed you." Gobber said.

"No. She wouldn't. Pitch must have done something to her." Hiccup argued.

"I think I see it." Monger agreed. "What ever Pitch did to her is proof enough he could do the same thing to us." Monger wondered. "I just hope it's not too late."

Meanwhile at the White House, everyone was appalled and against at Weselton's proposal.

"No! Absolutely not!" The President argued. "Launching a nuclear attack is out of the question!"

"Sir, we have to!" Weselton argued back. "The more we wait, the more Pitch Black will get a chance to destroy us all! Besides you heard his confession! He just revealed that HE was the one who destroyed Burgess!"

"I heard him! We all did!" The president said. "But we can't risk the lives of those people who are trying to save us!"

"People!? What people!? Those creatures!? They're not people! They never were and they never will be!" Weselton spat.

"Those creatures you are referring to are working along side us to stop Pitch Black!" The President retorted. "Both humans and creatures are risking and sacrificing their lives to save all of us!"

"Which is why a quick end of this war will reduce the number of lives lost!" Weselton retorted.

"But more lives will be added to pile!"

"Collateral damage!" Weselton hissed. That did it. That made everyone in the building really mad now.

"How dare you! They're not tools for war! But it seems you see them that way! Security!" The President called. Two security guards run in. "Arrest this man for attempted genocide!" The two guards grabbed him.

"What!? You can't do this to me!" Weselton struggled to be free.

"The stuff you said to us only exists in movies. Jack Frost told us this. We're not that stupid, unlike you." The President glared at him. "Take him away." Weselton was in complete shock as he was dragged away. "I'm counting on you. We're all counting on you." He said about Jack Frost and the others.

Jack POV

We just stood where we were, frozen in shock, and disbelief. Elsa was right in front of us. We finally found her. But too late. She was different. She was garbed in a black dress. Her beautiful face wearing black lipstick and black mascara, her eyes crimson red. She stood where she stood smirking down at us.

"E-Elsa? I-Is that really you?" Anna quivered as she slowly approached her.

"It's me, dear Anna." Elsa answered. "New and improved."

"What?" I stuttered. "What's happened to you?"

"I had an epiphany, my friends. An epiphany shown by Pitch. I had been broken like a horse, by Pitch. My unhappy life met with a unhappy end. But I was then restructured and rebuilt in both mind and body. And for the first times in years, I could see order within the chaos." Elsa explained while smiling sinisterly. "Once more I could see my place in it."

"And what is that?" North asked in concern.

"To rule of course." Elsa answered.

"Rule?" Kristoff asked. "Rule what? The world?"

"As cliché as it sounds yes." Elsa giggled.

"That can't be true!" I said standing up. "The Elsa I know is not a conqueror! She's a kind, sweet, and innocent, person! A strong one at that!" I said poetically.

"Aww Jack." Elsa cooed. "You always know just the right words to say. But that WAS the old me. But THIS is the new me."

"Exactly my dear." Pitch coxed. "I mean, do really nead anyone telling us how to run our lives."

"Of course not master." She coxed back at him and giggled.

"You ran her life completely!" I spat at Pitch. "She couldn't make a move with out you!"

"That's only because I gave her, her freedom." Pitch said back to me. "She was lost before we met. Not after. Going through life trying to be the perfect Queen humanity wanted her to be. I simply showed her another way. A way to be the Queen SHE wanted to be."

"The Queen YOU wanted her to be!" I retorted.

"It was HER choice." Pitch retorted back.

"You manipulated her just like you're doing right now!" I retorted back. But Pitch only just laughed.

"I'd say her conscious was wasted on the pathetic worms who bullied her anyway." Pitch smirked. "THEY and YOU never deserved her kindness. So why be someone she's clearly not?"

"Elsa, no!" Anna shouted. "Don't listen to him!"

"She doesn't have to listen. I only made her understand. Elsa is a vile witch. A powerful sorceress. My loyal Queen. There is nothing else she could be, because the world WE live in will never allow her to BE anyone else. Our roles are forced on us, because of who we are in the past." Pitch explained smirking.

"No!" Heart murmured.

"So we shall seize the world together! And remake this world into our own image! That way we can TRULY be free to choose our fate!" Pitch dramatically announced with a wide sinister smile. Elsa then slowly came down from the podium, sinisterly smirking.

"Elsa!" Anna ran to her.

"No, Anna! Stay back!" Bunny grabbed her and pulled her in. At that moment Elsa unleashed a wave of Black Ice at them, which sent them flying across the throne room. Anna was fine but Bunny was badly hurt.

"Anna!" Kristoff yelled in concern as he ran over to her and Bunny. We all did. "Are you okay!? He frantically asked in concern.

"Y-Yes." Anna nodded. Kristoff helped her on her feet and embraced her.

"Bunny! Are you alright!?" North frantically asked in concern.

"Urgh!" Bunny groaned. "I'll live."

"Elsa." Pitch chuckled "Come." He commanded her. Elsa walked over to him. Pitch laughed. "Good girl. You are preforming EXACTLY how you were meant to." He said patting her head. Elsa then giggled and smiled. She's actually enjoying being patted on the head like a dog.

"Who do you think you are!?" Tooth growled. "She's not thinking for herself! You're just manipulating her!"

"Oh, it would have been great if she had just agree to my way of thinking. But poor Elsa is so wishy washy. I had no choice but to decide for her." Pitch shrugged.

"Damn it all! This EXACTLY the reason why Jack needed to stay away from Elsa!" Heart thought to himself.

"Now, enough of the pointless chatter. It's time for some havoc." Pitch said. "Elsa! Show these fools your true power, for me! Become the Snow Queen that I remember!"

"Yes, my King!" Elsa smiled sinisterly as she unleashed a shockwave of her Black Ice and Snow powers. In that instant the entire throne room became a Black Ice throne room.

"Oh no." North murmured to himself.

"Elsa!" Lucky stared in shock.

"You look famished, Elsa." Pitch turned to her. "Go! Your prey is there waiting for you." He smirked. Elsa smirked back as she then walked over to us. Taunt walking. We were the prey and she was the predator.

"Elsa, wake up! Elsa!" I begged. But she kept on taunt walking to us, smirking and all. "Can you hear me!?"

"Elsa! It's us!" Kristoff interjected. "Come on, snap out of it-!"

"It's no use." Heart interrupted as he jumped right in front of us.

"What do you think you are doing, Heart?" Pitch asked with great interest.

"Elsa is unable to listen to anyone in this form. And now that she is under Pitch's control, it's impossible to get through to her now." Heart explained. "The only option left…" He paused as he quickly got out his bow and arrows once again. "… is to destroy her!" We all went wide-eyed in shock.

"What!? No you can't!" I begged.

"THIS is the reason why I said that a Guardian falling in love with a human is dangerous, Jack!" He yelled at me with a hint of venom in his voice. "Now you know the hard way!"

"Wait!" North said. "Isn't that…!?" He pointed at the Black Heart Arrow.

"Yes, North." Heart nodded. "This arrow is a negative one. And it's at 100% negative. At 100% it is enough to cause anyone to die from a heart attack!"

"Are you insane!?" North shouted.

"Please don't do it!" I begged, holding back the tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Jack. Hate me all you want, but this the only way to stop her and end this once and for all!" He yelled. He then focused his aim and attention to Elsa. "Now die and burn in HELL!" He yelled as he released the black arrow.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed. But it was too late. The arrow had struck her heart. We all just gasped and held our breath in shock. Heart struck down Elsa. The one who I love most. Rage and Hate coursed through me once again. I wanted beat Heart to a bloody pulp.

"Hmph. As I thought." Pitch smirked. "Seems my influence over your fear has made you into a cold hearted hypocrite. However…" The black arrow disappeared and Elsa then continued to smile sinisterly at us.

"W-Whart!?" Heart stared in disbelief.

"No way…" Bunny stared in shock.

"H-How can that be!? That arrow was at 100% negativity. It was set to end your life! How did you manage to survive!?" Heart snarled.

"Now that I've gained control over her, her physical inhibiters are nonexistent. She now knows no pain, no fatigue, and she is free of that conscious that hinders her." Pitch explained, while Elsa started attacking Heart with waves of black ice and snow. "She'll destroy everyone and everything without a second thought. With nothing but my will to control her. Elsa can keep going for eternity!" Pitch explained as Elsa continued to wound Heart.

"Sandy! Use your Dream Sand to rid Elsa of her darkness!" North instructed him. Sandy nodded and formed a Dream Sand tank. He then fired several shot in the hopes of freeing Elsa from Pitch's control. But nothing! "Argh! Even Sandy's Dream Sand can't even faze her."

"No… No!" Heart breathed heavily. "There has to be away… to destroy her…"

"We're not going to destroy her!" I yelled as I grabbed Heart by the collar. "We're going to get through to her!"

"It's impossible! Now that she's under Pitch's influence, she is unable to listen to reason!" Heart argued.

"You're wrong!" I retorted. "I can get through to her! I WILL get through to her!"

"Oh? And what do you plan to do?" Heart spat.

"You already know the answer." I simply said and I released him. At first he was confused. But then he went wide-eyed in realization.

"What!? No, Jack! Absolutely not!" Heart argued. "Do you realize what would happen if you did THAT!? You'll be completely vulnerable! Not only to Pitch but to the arms of Death itself!"

"I realize that. I always have." I said.

"So why then!? You would risk the world and give it to Armageddon, just for saving one person!?" He spluttered.

"No. Because I know you all can protect it… with out me." I made a weak smile. Heart was then speechless. "Like Pitch said before… I make a mess of everything. So I think it might be better this way… If I… didn't exist at all." That made everyone go wide-eyed in shock. I could also sense that everyone all across the world who were watching right now were also the same.

"B-But… but Jack…" Tooth said with a hint of a crack in her voice.

"You don't have to do this, mate." Bunny came up to me. "We can find another way to save Elsa."

"C-Can you?" Anna asked trying to be strong.

"O-Of course dear." North hesitated. "We can find away."

"I know you guys can. I know you will." I said sincerely. "But we're kind of on a time crunch here. So, this idea of mine is basically the only thing guaranteed to work."

"Make what work?" Kristoff asked.

"You'll see." I said. "And I'm confident that this one particular trick I've learned will break the spell Pitch has over her. But it'll take time to do, so I need cover."

"I see." Tooth nodded. "I've never seen this before. But I see you have faith in this."

"We will assist you, Jack." North said.

"Good." I nodded. "And your task is a simple one. Guard me from Pitch and keep Elsa at bay so I can make this work."

"You're sure this is going to work?" North asked.

"I hope so." I said. Kristoff then chuckled.

"This plan sucks." Kristoff sighed. I chuckled back.

"I know. Short notice, man." I sighed with him. "As soon as I'm clear I'm gonna make break for it. There isn't going to be anytime for goodbyes." I explained. I extended my hand for a handshake. But Kristoff decided to give me brotherly hug. I hug him back.

"Alright then! Let's do it!" Bunny cheered. "Anna, I'm sorry. But your sister is going have to take a few bruises." He cringed in shame.

"O-Okay." Anna hesitated a nod. "As long as we don't kill her."

"THAT we promise will never happen!" North vowed. Bunny then dashed over the Dream Sand tank and threw his boomerangs at Elsa, but she blocked them with ease. Bunny created a good distraction for her. Tooth then flew down past Elsa so SHE could distract her. Sandy then used his Dream Sand Tank and fired a couple of more rounds to cure her. But as usual, Elsa blocked them with ease. Heart, who was still keen on ending Elsa's to stop Pitch, flew up and fired multiple arrows in his frustration. I knew the guy wasn't gonna give up and let me try my trick, but I also knew he was no match for her. Elsa just blocked them with ease. Getting more frustrated he angrily fired more multiple shots at Elsa. They made contact but didn't do anything. She then decided that she's toyed with them for long enough and fired a powerful large black icicle at the Dream Sand tank, destroying it. Sandy was blown away on the floor. Elsa then approached him and created another large black icicle in hand to use as a sword. She then raised her hand in the air struck down. But Tooth managed to save Sandy in time.

"She's easily distracted." Tooth whispered to everyone. "Keep this up everybody."

"Hmph. You think I can't see it?" Elsa giggled. We all went wide-eyed in shock. "I know you're trying to distract me so you can finish me off. I'm not dumb." She smirked. Well the last part she got wrong.

"You're wrong, Elsa!" Anna pleaded. "We trying to save you from Pitch."

"Ha!" She laughed. "Depends on your definition and perspective of 'saving me.'"

"What do you mean by that?" Anna asked frantically.

"Try being more specific than just saying 'saving me.' Do you mean saving me in one piece or ending my life?" She stood where she is smirking at us.

"In one piece, of course!" Anna said without hesitation.

"Funny, you Guardian of Love's action suggests otherwise." She smirked while eyeing him.

"The other my be fooled! But you can't fool me, Evil Witch!" Heart snarled as he fired more rounds of arrows at Elsa. But as usual they did nothing.

"Do you ever learn? Or are you really that desperate to kill me?" She mockingly smirked.

"Your existence is nothing but blight! Always has and always will be!" Heart yelled at her with all of his hate and rage. Then Elsa's smug smirk then changed to a frown.

"What. Was. That?" She said turning and glaring at him. That did it. Oh shit.

"You heard me! You are danger to the world! A danger to humanity! And a danger to our kind!" Heart continued his raging rambles.

"Not a healthy idea." Pitch smirked.

"Someone like you should never have existed! YOU MONSTER!" He screamed his taunts. Then Elsa was in wide-eyed rage.

"That is the last straw that broke this camels back!" She hissed. She raised her hands and unleashed a huge have a black snow and ice at Heart. Heart immediately went from over confident rage to instant fear and regret, as he was blown away on the walls. The blizzard blast was so strong that it was doing more than giving Heart cuts and wounds. It was crushing him. Freezing him. We all stared and heard his screams of painful agony. Well, that's what happens when you go beyond your boundaries, you idiot!

"Elsa! Please stop this!" Anna begged. "He's just an idiot! We care for you! We don't think you're a monster at all!"

"You're all LIARS!" Elsa shouted as she unleashed a shockwave blizzard. The force of the impact sent us all flying.

"Nice going you idiot!" Kristoff shouted at Heart.

"You just had to make things worse!" Bunny agreed. Heart struggled to get back.

"It's only the truth!" Heart argued back. "She's a monster! A cancer that needs to be cut out!" Finally I could take no more. My hate and rage drove me to Heart and punch him hard in the face.

"Shut up!" I hissed. "Elsa has been suffering for so long! All she needed is love!" I argued.

"She doesn't deserve love! She only deserve to suffer!" Heart growled.

"What do you know about love!? You don't know anything about love! You're no Guardian of Love! You're no better than Pitch! You disgrace love itself, you heartless MONSTER!" I shouted at Heart at the top of lungs. Heart was then stunned and speechless. I then turned my attention to Elsa.

"Well…" Elsa smirked. "…I'm actually impressed. You landed a heavy truth he can't deny."

"Thanks, I guess." I smiled sincerely.

"I honestly didn't think you would defend me in such a manner." She smirked mockingly.

"For you, Elsa, anything." I said honestly and sincerely. She then looked and glared at me.

"Then you can do me the pleasure of dying!" She hissed. "That way I won't have to listen to anymore of your LIES!" She yelled as she unleashed a streaming wave of a black blizzard.

"I'm not lying! We're not lying!" I begged.

"SHUT UP!" She shouted.

"Elsa we care about you! I care about you!" I continued begging.

"No you don't!" She growled at us. "You all hate me! You don't see me as a person! You see me as a monster!"

"No we don't!" North bellowed a beg. "We see you as person!"

"Yeah! You know the old saying!" Tooth interject. "'I think, therefore I am!'" She quoted.

"That is a meaningless passage if it lacks the proper evidence!" Elsa snarled.

"What more evidence do you need!? What more evidence do we need to prove that we care for you!?" Anna frantically asked tears began pouring out her eyes.

"Your deaths!" She hissed. She then unleashed huge waves of black ice and snow. "You never cared! I was always alone! And I will always be alone!" She shouted. "You left me alone! YOU LEFT ME TO DIE!" She shouted, as her waves grew more and more powerful. I could tell we weren't going to survive for much longer. I had to do it. It's now or never. I began to walk forward to her.

"Elsa. I know what it's like to be alone." I said as I walked over to her, going against her powerful blizzard.

"No you don't!" She screamed, making her blizzard even more powerful. But I kept on pushing forward. This was making Elsa more frustrated. "Why won't you just die!" She screamed as she made her blizzard even more powerful. But with more persistence I kept pushing forward. I started to see her frustration turned into desperate fear. "N-No stop! Desist! Halt! Don't come any closer!" She cried in panic. "Master, please help me!" She begged. But Pitch didn't move where he was. He was still standing and smirking. I've just now noticed that Pitch didn't move from his spot through out all of this. But it didn't matter at this point. I kept pushing against her storm until I finally managed to get close to her.

"E-Elsa…" I breathed as I looked into her eyes.

"Stay away from me!" Elsa tried to back away. "You all have to pay for what you did to me! I'll take away everything people hold most dear! Then they will know what it truly feels like to be alone! That way, I will truly be happy!"

"Elsa, you're wrong!" I said grabbing her shoulders. "You could destroy us with your power, but that's not real happiness. Real happiness… Is something we must claim ourselves without resorting to violence or genocide." I explain.

"No." She shook her head. "That never works. In order to obtain true happiness, you have to fight and take it. Besides what do you care? Nothing. I'm different from you."

"You're right." I said. "It's true that you have powers that humanity doesn't have. But so what, you're still yourself Elsa. Kind, bright, a future Queen. Elsa has any of that changed?" I said sincerely. She then looked up at me with wide eyes. "You may have powers that humanity doesn't have, but you're still the same girl."

"Jack I…" She tried to speak.

"You mean so much to me, Elsa." I said in a serious sincere tone. "I will not let you come to harm. I will protect you." I vowed. "Elsa. I love you."

"Jack?" Elsa went wide-eyed shock. I then used my ice powers and constructed the ring made out of blue ice. I then presented it to Elsa. She looked at it and gasped in wide-eyed shock.

"Elsa… Once this war is finished, will you be with me?" I asked placing the ring on her ring finger. "Will marry me? Will you be my wife? I would be with you, together. Always." I said. Elsa then looked at the ring. Instantly tears began streaking down her face. I can tell she was over joyed.

"J-Jack I…" She began. "I mean… are you really… okay with me?" She stammered as tears continued to fall from her eyes.

"More than okay." I smiled warmly at her. "I would love to spend every single day of my life with you." Elsa kept staring in shock. Tears still falling from her eyes. "Well Elsa, what do you say?"

"Oh Jack." She cried into my chest. I hugged her tenderly in my arms. She then looked up at me, drying her tears. "Y-Yes." She nodded. I smiled at her. She smiles back at me. We slowly leaned into one another and pressed out lips against each other's. We kissed. At that moment the Elsa's appearance melted away. Her dark form had reverted back to her usual self and appearance. She wore that same dress only it was bright icy blue. Her wrapped ponytail was now platinum blonde. And her beautiful face was now dark blue mascara and lipstick. And her eyes were lick mine, blue.

Normal POV

Everyone at the pole was then cheering with hope. Jack had managed to bring Elsa back to normal through the power of love.

"Alright Jack!" Olaf cheered.

"I knew you could do it." Pabbie smiled.

"Oh Elsa… My baby…" Gerda cried tears of joy. Kai hugged her close.

"That boy is something else" Kai smiled. "And he has my blessings to marry my daughter."

At the borders of Manhattan, at the base where Monger and Gobber are stationed, All the soldiers cheered too. They were once again filled with hope and feel like they have chance of winning

"He did it!" Astrid cheered.

"I knew he could do anything!" Hiccup cheered too. Both Astrid and Hiccup hugged each other.

"Well all be damned." Monger smiled.

"What a guy." Gobber smiled too.

Meanwhile at the White House, everyone was applauding Jack's greatest feet he had accomplished. The entire world was echoing with cheers.

"Those people are definitely something else." The President smiled. "We might actually have a chance.

Jack POV

"Elsa…" I smiled down at her. "Welcome back."

"Oh Jack." She smiled up at me with tears in her eyes. "Thank you. I love you. I love you so much."

"I love you too, Elsa." I smiled back at her. But then I turned my attention to Pitch and glared at him. "The tables have turned Pitch!" But then he did something unexpected. He starts to… laugh.

"Game. Set. Match." He said while smirking. We were all confused at first. But then I saw something I completely forgot about. The black sands that Pitch used to influence Elsa was actually the Evolving Black Sands. I completely forgot that they can adapt and become immune to whatever defeats it.

"Oh no…" I murmured. Then the Black Sands go whiled like a sand storm. Quick thinking I pulled Elsa away and threw her to the others.

"Jack!" North called from the raging sands. I just stood there looking scared, but defeated. Pitch had this rigged from the start. It seems he is now and always one-step ahead of us.

"Jack!" Elsa calls out to me in despair and fear.

"I… I'm sorry everyone…" I said with a crack in my voice. "But it looks like this is it for me."

"What!?" They all stare in wide-eyed shock and disbelief.

"Pitch outsmarted us." I said with tears rolling down my eyes. "Its now clear that he won from the start. The war was over long before it had begun." The sands started getting wilder as they engulfed me.

"Jack no!" Elsa screamed as tears were falling out of her eyes too."

"Jack, come on!" Kristoff called out to me.

"Get out of there!" Anna called out too. But knew it was no use. Pitch was going to end me.

"I'm sorry…" I cried. "But this is goodbye."

"Jack! No! You can't!" Heart called out.

"Jack! JACK!" Elsa cried. Those were the last things I heard before the sands engulfed me completely. The last thing I saw was Elsa's despairing face.

Darkness... That's the first thing I remember. It was dark, and it was cold, and I was scared. At least back then. But now, I'm not scared any more. Because I knew the others can handle things without me. At least Elsa is safe and sound. As I looked up I found myself in pitch-black limbo. Then I saw black sand coming towards me. No doubt it was the Ever Evolving Force. If I'm here, than it must mean that my physical body is destroyed now. Guess they're gonna finish the job by wiping out my mental one now. But… this time… I'm not gonna put up a fight. I make a mess of everything any way. It's better this.

But as I wait for my inevitable death, something unexpected happens. Instead of finishing me off, the black sands… start to comfort me. The swirl all around me giving me warmth and comfort. But why? But then the slithered on my head and started to inject themselves into my head. For moment there was nothing, and then they started showing me things…horrible things…beyond description. And in that split second, I understood. They were showing me humanity's history. War, terror, conflict, death, and destruction on an unimaginable scale. As they released I was transfixed. I never knew throughout all my life that throughout humanity's history that humanity was capable of such savagery. I learned this through history itself, but to see it with my own eyes it was too much to handle.

"Why? Why didn't Manny tell me about this? I mean I know adults can't see me, but my power to make things fun works on everyone! I could have prevented most of the wars back then!" I asked myself. But then it hit me as to why Manny didn't want me around those wars., those awful time. But then another question hit me. "Why didn't HE stop it? He has all the power in the world and yet he did nothing the stop it!" I hissed.

"It fills you with contempt. Does it not, Jack Frost?" Said a familiar voice. I turn to see the Black Sands forming a giant face of Pitch. "To be so thoroughly betrayed and abandoned by the Man in the Moon. To know that you serve at best a taunting, incompetent fool. And worst, a smug, manipulative, coward, who sold himself, sold you, and all the people YOU protect, sold you all out for power."

"But… that isn't true…"

"He feeds on your loyalty and rewards it with only pain and confusion. He stopped caring for the happiness for the people long ago, when he sold his kingdom to the powers more darker and more insidious than myself. And why should he care? Why should you? The people resent you. Resent your success. Resent your purity. They cheer you only because they enjoy watching you suffer." Pitch taunted.

"Shut up! That's not true!" I retorted back.

"You are alone, Jack Frost. Abandoned by your friends, your partners, and very soon by your own sanity. It is only your darker nature, your rage that has brought you this far. Brought you to me. And only I can free you of this cage you languish in. But decide soon. This world's time grows short." Pitch explains to me.

"What do you mean?"

"Let me show you more." The giant head simply said. The black sands swirled all around me. Showing me more of the darker sins of humanity. More War, terror, conflict, death, and destruction. But I saw more than that. I saw lust, greed, fraud, and worst of all betrayal. I wanted to close my eyes but these images were being played in my mind. But little by little I began to see that this is humanity in a nutshell. All the good that we can do together can easily be undone in betrayal. Everything we all did together was for nothing!

"Idiot!" I scolded myself. "You couldn't even save one solitary life. You know full well that everyone is dead already. What the hell is the point? Why did I even try!? There's no good in this world…only despair. Only death will save us from this despair. It's the only mercy left." I fell down on my knees feeling sad and defeated. Pitch then started chuckling.

"Good. Good. And now at the end do you understand." Pitch smirked.

"Understand, what?" I snarled at him.

"Inevitability. You and I are the same. We ARE the same. The only difference is that you are weak. You care. I will dominate because I don't care." Pitch answered.

"What's your point!?"

"My point being is that I never had an interest in you pitiful little whore anyway. I merely came to save you Jack." Pitch answered.

"Save me?" I said looking unconvinced. "Look, just go away! Take you Evolving Sands and leave me here to rot!"

"My evolving sands?" Pitch quirked. Then he chuckles again. "Oh Jack, the evolving sands was never meant for Elsa. I made them for you."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Armageddon. I have a gift for you. The fate of your world is already sealed, Jack." Pitch announced.

"Armageddon? Are you kidding me? Why would I stupid enough to do that?" I thought Pitch was just being plain stupid. But then he laughed maniacally.

"Oh but Jack, you will. In fact, you already have." He smiled maniacally. I felt confused in panicky way. "Your hatred has spelled the doom of this Earth. If you finish the path you set for yourself, you will die. Your world will die, exactly how I planned since you started. You decide how this story ends, Jack. But know this: All of you paths end in death."

"Yeah!? Well guess what! You can't trick me!" I stood up holding my staff erect at Pitch's giant head. "I will keep fighting till my last breath!"

"Then use your magic. Destroy the evolving black sands. Destroy your only escape from the lie of your existence. Run from your new destiny. Stay here and talk to your 'believers'. Until they too abandon you. Then you're alone. You will never be able to escape yourself. How much longer I wonder until you finally see the bars of your own cage."

"You're the one in cage! I'm not!" I try to retort.

"No? Then stay here. Embrace madness and filament the flames as your hatred engulfs this world. You said yourself that death was kind of mercy for you and the rest of humanity. You can end their suffering like many have tried before me. Or you can fulfill your destiny. Leave this reality and join me. With our combined strength, all of the world and anything else that we choose, can be ours to use and destroy as we see fit. But I think we all know how this ends, don't we Jack Frost?" Pitch smirked.

"What do you mean?"

"Let me show you one last thing. I can guarantee it'll convince you." And with that the black sands continued to show me more about the darker nature of humanity. It was so heart breaking. But then I heard Elsa. At least the voice of Dark Elsa. She kept on saying about how she was alone and no one cared. Didn't we go over this already? But then the sands showed me both my past and Elsa's past. At first I didn't know why. But then I saw, they were comparing our pasts. I still didn't understand why. But that's when the answer shown brighter than all the rest, and burned itself into my brain. It's not how much loneness there was, it was how long. Comparing Elsa's past to mine, She was alone for 10 years, a decade. But for me, I was alone for 300 years, 3 centuries. To make things worse she was closed door, while I was an open one. Yet the closed door got most attention while mine had no one. Then it happened. The rage! The hate! Comparing my pain to Elsa's, my pain was far greater than hers! I glared and growled at the mere site of her and smashed my fist down on her image.

"How dare she. How dare she!" I hissed. "She says I don't know what the pain of loneliness is!? Oh, but I do! Way better than HER!" I shouted.

"Excellent." Pitch said. "You know what you must do."

"I do." I nodded. "For what goes better than cold and dark." I then turned to see Dark Elsa standing there. Looking scared and in a panic.

"No! This cannot be happening!" The Dark version screamed in panic. I then tauntingly walked over to her. Glaring with all my hate and rage. "No! Stay away from me!" But I didn't give the satisfaction. I then drove my bare hands right into her guts and impaled her. She gawked in pain. She looked up at me with fear, while I stared at her with emotionless hate. "I… I don't want to die…" She begged.

"Good riddance." I whispered in her ear. And with that I finished her off as I heard the last of her dying screams of agony. Her entire being disappeared into dust, and that black dust began to swirl all around me. The Ever Evolving Black Sands began to course through my body. I could tell I going through a drastic transformation. I didn't resist, I embraced it!

The Man in the Moon chose me to be a Guardian of Childhood. To show children the Wonders of Hopes and Dreams forever embedded in their Memories through Fun. But now, I stand at the center between good and evil, light and darkness once again.

I have become the beast.
