Chapter 8

Two weeks later

"Hey" Ana said.

Christian greeted her with a kiss, "hello".

Christian couldn't help but notice how much more relaxed Ana was around him now. Her shoulders were no longer anywhere near her ears and she was visibly less hett up.

"Let me take your coat" Christian said slowly pulling Ana's coat off her shoulders. He put in on the coat rack and looked at Ana. She was wearing a pair of black shorts and a blue halter neck top with a pair of black heels.

"You look amazing" Christian said, he wrapped his arms round her waist and pulled her tight against her.

"Why thank you, Mr Grey" Ana said with a giggle.

Christian took a step back and looked at Ana, it was only then he really saw just how thin she was and he tried not to flinch.

"Can I get you a drink?" Christian asked.

"A glass of wine please".

Ana agreed to come over to Christian's apartment so the two of them could have dinner and then watch a film. Christian had given Mrs Jones and Taylor the night off so the two of them could go out and so that him and Ana had the apartment to themselves.

They both sat down to a dinner of a prawn linguine followed by a pudding of summer fruits and amaretti biscuits.

"That was beautiful Christian, thank you" Ana said.

"You are very welcome" he said with a twinkle in his eye.

The two of them spent the rest of the evening watching a film, Christian suggested going out but Ana said she was really tired and wasn't feeling up to it.

Christian couldn't help but notice that Ana ate everything on her plate, he thought that could be nothing but a good thing especially as she didn't leave to go and throw up in the bathroom, he didn't say anything though. He knew now that he needed to back off and he hoped things could go back to the way they were before or as near to there that they could get.

Christian noticed Ana nodding off on the sofa, he gently scooped her up in his arms and carried her to his bedroom. As he put her on the bed Ana woke up.

"What's going on?" she asked rubbing her eyes.

"You fell asleep so I brought you to bed".

"Mmm".

Christian knelt on the bed next to her and gave her a slow, passionate kiss. He cupped his hand round her cheek.

"You are so beautiful" he whispered.

He moved his hand from her cheek downwards and slipped his hand just under her top, he ran his fingers over her silky smooth stomach, slowly massaging her as he moved his hands over to her hips. Ana was breathing deeply as he ran his hands round her back to undo her bra, he undid the clasp and moved her bra straps down her arms.

Next day

Ana woke up to find herself curled up in Christian's arms, she breathed deeply and smiled. This felt like home, this was where she belonged.

After a little while she tried to untangle herself from Christian without waking him but just as she was nearly up he woke.

"Where are you going?" Christian asked sleepily.

"I was going to go to the gym".

Christian blinked. "You were?".

Ana nodded.

"Well you can use the gym here baby, you know that".

"Okay, thank you" Ana said and left the room.

It wasn't till she left that Christian had realised that she had his sweats on. He smiled to himself and got up.

"Would you like a coffee, Mr Grey?" Mrs Jones asked as he walked into the kitchen.

"Yes please".

Christian sat at the breakfast bar with the paper and read it intently.

"Thank you" he said as Mrs Jones handed him his coffee. He looked up and saw it was 7.45 AM. He hadn't realised that he had slept so late. He quickly finished his coffee.

"Ana, its nearly 8 o clock, I have to go but you can stay here as long as you want" Christian said, popping his head through the door.

"Okay" Ana said walking over to him. She had her hair tied in pigtails, she gave him a kiss and it was all he could to not to grab her and push her against the wall. "Laters, baby" she whispered.

Christian left his apartment and headed to work but he couldn't get Ana off his mind. He kept thinking about how amazing she had looked the night before.

Ana took a shower and dressed. Mrs Jones insisted on making her breakfast before she left but Ana left right after breakfast, she really had to get to work.

"You're late" her boss barked from his office.

"I'm sorry, Mr Hyde. The traffic was really bad this morning".

"Well I need you to file these invoices and then send me a list of all of our clients that might be interested in coming to the event tomorrow night".

"Of course Mr Hyde, I'll do it right away" Ana said, taking the invoices off of him and headed to her desk.

Ana's boss kept her busy all day and she was glad when the end of the day finally came for her.

"See you tomorrow Mr Hyde" Ana said on her way out of the office.

Ana got in her car and made the drive home, she was so glad to be out of the office, her boss Mr Hyde seriously gave her the creeps the way he always seemed to be ogling her.

Ana got home to find Kate sitting on the doorstep.

"Hey...Kate, what are you doing?".

"Ahh" Kate groaned "I am so glad your home, I forgot my keys this morning and have been sat outside for hours waiting for you to come home".

Ana tried to stifle her laugh but couldn't. "You could of just phoned me, I would of come to let you in".

"Well you are here now".

Ana unlocked the door and the both of them went in.

"How was work?" Kate asked Ana.

Ana rolled her eyes. "It was work".

Kate nodded knowingly. "Want a cuppa?".

"Yes please, be back now" Ana said and headed to her room to get changed.

"How were things with Christian last night?" Kate asked when she got back.

Ana blushed and was lost for words.

"That good huh?" and they both giggled.

"What are you up to tonight?" Kate asked her.

"Not sure, Christian's busy so I'm at a bit of a loose end really".

"Well do you want to come shopping with me then?".

"Sounds good".

They spent the rest of the evening in front of the television eating take out and then both got an early night,

I think I should put some perspective into the story. Its set after Ana leaves Christian the first time and has Mr Hyde in it but he isn't the crazy stalker psycho that he is in the book, he ogles Ana sometimes but that is the extent of it.
