Dear Mom & Dad,

If you don't pick me up, I'm going to call Grandpa Charlie to come get me!

Dear Mom & Dad,

I talked to Aunt Alice last night and she said everyone is at Grandpa & Nana Cullen's cottage… how could you go on vacation without me!

Dear Mom and Dad,

I called Grandpa Charlie and he said he would pick me up if you said it was okay. Can I please come home now?

July 15

Dear Mom and Dad,

This is not funny! I know you said camp would be fun and I would make a lot of friends but I don't want to be here!

I promise if you let me come home, I'll do all my chores and homework and walk Wolfie two times a day!

Please let me come home!

Lynden

July 20

Dear Mom,

Okay, so maybe camp isn't totally bad…

Aunt Alice sent me a care package and I used some of the nail polish and makeup she sent to wear to the dance we had here.

Don't tell Daddy but I met a boy there… he's soooo cute and his family is actually moving to Forks! We might even be in some of the same classes next year! We danced all the slow dances and he walked me back to my cabin and held my hand!

I love you and Daddy and miss everyone!

Love Lynden

"Is that from Lynden?" Edward asked as he came into the bedroom.

"Yes, and I have some news for you, but you aren't going to like it." Bella said as she folded up the letter from their twelve-year-old daughter.

"Is she still asking to come home?"

"No… she doesn't want me not to tell you but…" Bella said. "You might want to sit down for this… your daughter has her first crush."

"What!" Edward exclaimed as he fell into a chair.

"The camp had a dance and she met a boy there, and his family is moving to Forks." Bella said as she wrapped an arm around her husband's shoulders and took a seat on the arm of his chair. "You had to know she was going to grow up sometime."

"I had hoped enough fishing trips with your dad would have warded off that for another few years." Edward said pulling his wife into his lap.

"She's be in Junior High in September, at least we'll be able to keep an eye on everything."

"Do you think it's time to tell her how we really met?"

"No, I'm sure once Charlie finds out, he'll be keeping an eye out as well. This may just be puppy love." Bella tried to ease the tension from her husband's face. "But we will one day, I just think that's a story for a different day."
