-0-The next morning
"Get up."
Bluestreak stood in the doorway of the berth room looking at the twins sprawled on the bed. They were recharging fiercely, so much so that the sweet laughter and chatter of the infants didn't wake them. He grinned and walked out to the table where the babies sat eating their breakfast. They had tiny bowls and spoons designed and painted by Sunstreaker with their own glyphs on each utensil and dish.
"Finish eating," Blue said as he sat down to his own meal. "Then we'll go wake them up." He looked down at Dawg and Bob who had just finished theirs. "Right, boys?"
Dawg grinned, his tongue lolling. Bob just looked at him with big optics. Several big optics.
-0-Bosom of love
Ratchet rolled over and fell off the berth. He landed face first on the floor and stilled for a moment. Glancing upward, he saw the sun rising over Olympus Mons. Rising stiffly, he stood and looked at the berth where Ironhide lay. He was dead to the world so Ratchet stepped out to get the orn started.
No one was awake.
-0-Prime Residence
Kestrel was up early as was the habit of a lifetime of hard struggle. Tagg was recharging so he walked to the kitchen where Prowl was getting breakfast organized. No one else was up so he helped. They would have a great chat.
-0-At the football stadium
The greens keepers, students from the Engineering program at the University and a master from Capital City walked across the pitch policing it for even the smallest fleck of something that didn't belong. The stands were already scanned and found to be impeccable. The special areas for humans and the Prime party were as well. Banners were hung and flags snapped in the slight breeze.
It was cold, over -100 degrees and the projection for the orn was clear and cool with a light breeze. It would be perfect.
For Cybertronians.
-0-At the Sciences Habitat
The scientists had stayed up until the siren had sounded the night before so they were slow rising this morning. Some of them were getting coffee, discussing the game to come and their impressions of the orn before. They had experienced the Primal blessing and felt the alien expression of emotional love and well being that something somewhere had for the crowd they had stood with for nearly five hours.
Breakfast was being gathered together by some of the more industrious among them as others straggled in seeking food, coffee and discussion.
-0-Tower Habitat for Earth
The humans were slow rising but the kids weren't. They were ready to rumble since the main agenda included FOOTBALL! Tim Epps, the smallest of the four children of Bobby and Lonnie Epps stood by the window looking outside. The city was rising as mechs and the occasional femme moved about on the streets beyond their habitat. "I want to see football."
His sister, Marlita walked to stand next to him. "So do I," she said with a nod.
Lonnie who was nearby glanced their way. "Come and eat first," she said. "Then you better make sure you go to the bathroom. I'm not taking you once we get there. I'm not missing a single play," she said with conviction.
She meant it.
-0-Trine
"Eat."
"I'm drinking it today. I don't want too much weighing me down," Sunstreaker said as he sat. Sideswipe who was already sitting at the table glanced down at Bob and Dawg. "I suppose we keep these two here."
"The crowd might be too much," Sunstreaker said reaching down to pet both. Bob's purring erupted in the room. "They did fine yesterday."
"They did," Bluestreak said catching Kaon before he fell off the table trying to look at Dawg and the bug. "I think letting them stay here is a good idea. When do you have to be at the stadium?"
Sunstreaker glanced at the time piece on the wall nearby. "We should go now."

"Ada? Is the twins playing today?" Hero asked pausing her tiny cup before her face.
"Are. Are the twins playing today," Ratchet gently corrected. "They are."
"I like that. They are so fast," Hero replied.
"Do you want to sit in your basket? The twinnies will be in theirs. Do you want the basket and your toys or do you want to watch and then go into someone's hold with your blankets and toys?" Ratchet asked as he finished feeding Prowler. Sitting the baby on the table, Prowler sat up and smiled at everyone. Ratchet smiled back.
"I like my basket, Ada," Hero said. She looked at Prowler. "Does Prowler have a basket too?"
Ratchet paused, then shrugged. "I don't think so," he said turning to Spot. "Spot, go get Ironhide up. Now."
The big dog jumped up and ran down the hallway turning into the berth room. A bounding sound, then a bellow erupted. "Atar is up," Hero said with a huge grin.
"He is, the goof off," Ratchet said rising to walk to the monitor. He punched up the directory of merchants of the city and found the one he wanted. The Sparkling Store was closed until the next orn. "Well, we will see what we can do for Prowler. In the meantime, you can sit in your little basket with your blankets and toys until you decide to nap. Then Atar will be happy to take you in his hold."
Hero smiled. "All right, Ada," she said as she held out a bite of her 'pretzel' for Prowler. He smiled and bit onto it, then lost his aft. He fell over and rolled. Ratchet barely got him as he rolled off the table. Putting him back up, Ratchet grinned. "Round aft younglings. You are going to be the end of me."
Hero moved closer to Prowler putting her arm around his little shoulders, his wings folding down automatically. "I have him, Ada."
Ratchet grinned and after subbing his camera took snaps to commemorate the moment. Ironhide who rounded the corner followed Spot to the living room. "I see everyone waited for me."
"Ada, you are late. I can help you," Hero said as she tried to stand up.
"Sit, baby. I'll take care of slow poke," Ratchet said turning to pull together a breakfast plate. Putting It on the table with his 'tea', Ratchet sat. "You look alluring this morning."
Ironhide snorted. "I do don't I."
"ATAR!"
"Orion."
"WE GO THERE!?"
"Where?"
Pause. "BALL! GO BALL THERE?!"
Ironhide grinned. "Nice sentence. Yes."
"I GO TOO?"
"You will, Orion."
"PAX GO TOO?"
"Yes."
"HO-HO GO TOO?"
"Hero goes too."
"POT GO!?"
"Sunspot goes too, Orion."
"DOG GO TOO?!"
"I don't know."
Pause. "ADA GO TOO?!" (grin)
"Yes."
"DUCK GO TOO!?"
(grin) "No."
"QUACK QUACK!?" (ginormous grin)
Everyone stared at the little mech with the big merry blue optics, then laughed.
"Ada, Orion is funny," Sunspot said as he sat in his chair at the table.
"He's nuts," Ratchet said with a grin. "That's why he fits here so well."
"CAN BALL COME!?" Orion said, then laughed uproariously. He looked at the others with a chuckle. "BALL COME TOO! DOG COME! QUACK QUACK!"
Praxus laughed uproariously. "QUACK QUACK!" he replied. They both laughed at their own hilarity.
"Little mech is insane," Ratchet said with a chuckle of his own. He took Hero and set her on the floor followed by Praxus. "You two are done. Go play a moment. Okay?"
"Okay, Ada," Hero said taking Praxus by the servo. "Come on. Let's play." They hurried off for Hero's berth room.
Orion watched them go. "I go too?" he asked Ironhide.
"Finish your breakfast, spud. Then you can go," Ironhide replied.
He did.

They stood by the objects as groups of citizens determined to see them persisted. It had thinned down overnight and would probably terminate around the time of the game. They would go too. Most of them were loyal to Iacon as a team of choice. They would be there with their orange banners and hopefulness but the likelihood that Vos would win and put them back into contention in the wild card was nearly nil.
Gravitas, Templar and Vraz stood proudly here and there explaining things and taking questions. They were full fledged priests now, something none of them would have even considered back on Cybertron. They were too rooted into the material world to care about anything but their own creature comforts and the continuation of them at the expense of just about everyone else.
Shame was a leavening experience. It also was a processor clearing thing as well. They had discussed it together as they made their way back to the light. If they had not been derailed from their old lives, they would have died unfulfilled and unredeemed.
Now they had a purpose in a place they had helped build with their own servos. Their fear that the Matrix would reject them during their ordaining moment with Prime had been very real. But the Matrix took them into service. It was the greatest orn of their lives.
-0-Venture and Miler
They came down the street from Vos Tower where they lived heading for Polyhex Tower where the trine lived. They would be taking care of the twinnies, Miler carrying their basket with new things inside of it. Turning at the door, they headed in and took an elevator to the floor where the trine lived. As they stepped out, the twins were there to step in.
"Are you going to the stadium now?" Venture asked.
Sunstreaker nodded. "Time to get there ahead of the mob."
"You will win. I know that to be true," Venture said firmly as he extended his servo. "Just don't get hurt."
"In Cybertronian football?" Sideswipe said with a chuckle. "How could that possibly happen?"
Miler punched him lightly. "Smart alec." He grinned. "We're going to see Blue and we'll help with the babies."
They nodded and after a moment of chat, the twins continued downward as Ven and Miler walked to the apartment and entered to great acclaim by the stature challenged.
"GRANDATAR AND GRANDADA!"

"You getting up?"
"I am."
"Get the lead out. We have to check the overnight files," Drift said as he watched Springer try to care enough to get up. "I am going to kill off the food. If you want some you better come and get it."
Springer murmured as Drift walked to the kitchen. By the time he managed to sort out the leftovers, Springer was out stretching himself. "I feel like slag."
"You look like it," Drift said.
Springer snorted and took the last piece of stale 'pizza'. "This tastes like crap," he said as he turned to get a 'beer'. "I think I got over energized last night."
"You did. I wasn't impressed," Drift said with a smirk. "If you get my point."
Springer paused, then looked at the mechanism of his dreams. "I take it that I failed to light up your mother board so to speak?"
"You must be psychic," Drift said.
Springer snorted, then sat heavily. "I don't remember. You remember it for me."
"I can't forget it. I was so disappointed," Drift said moving to sit beside his bond. "Did I tell you I was disappointed?"
"Should I call up Hot Rod?" Springer asked.
They both laughed.

They sat around a table having finished breakfast. They were going to play a little cards before the game began. Smokey was ecstatic at the prospect since it had been a long time between games for him. His grandparents sat with him one on either side, Smokescreen shuffling the deck. "Football rules, Grandada," the youngling mech said with great enthusiasm.
Devcon nodded, a slight grin on his immensely handsome face. "It does. So does college."
Smokey took his cards, then paused. "College?"
"Yes. I just enrolled you for the new session. The basic courses of course but then you can take your time deciding your major area," that bot said casually as he picked up his own cards and began to arrange them.
"College?" Smokey said, the sound of dismay in his tone. "I'm an Elite Guard. I'm a soldier. It's my destiny."
"I'll take two," Devcon said as he slid back two cards to his bond. "Of course it is," he said glancing at his grandson. "For now." he said with a smirk.
"Oh-oh, grandson," Smokescreen said leaning back in his chair. "You're done for now."
Smokey looked at him, then glanced at his grandada with wariness. "No doubt," he said before he put his bet in the pot.

Scatman Caruthers, Jazz in G1 is credited with putting 'ginormous' into the common vernacular by using it as a figure of speech by Jazz. I loved Scatman Caruthers.
