God, I just can't make serious, fight paragraphs for the life of me. Sorry guys, I guess this will have to do. I will be finishing up this soon, but i wont for probably...one or two more chapters, I don't know yet. Just I want to complete this so that I can move on to my other story ideas. I'm sorry this chapter is so short as well. It looks a lot longer on my tiny laptop, but...bigger computers...much much shorter.
Chapter 8
Each member ran out of the guild to see the citizens of Mongolia run away from the monsters that were headed towards the guild. There was definitely more than yesterday, and Akua and Kahula stood in front of them. The larger monsters just seemed to cast a shadow over them, which added to the already uneasy feeling that was there. Just like Akua and Kahula stood in front of the monsters, Master Touhou Fuhai stood in the front of all the guild members, including the ones from Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus. No words needed to be said or exchanged.
It started.
As as usual, Gray had his clothes off.
Well, that did have some use to this fight since some of the monsters wasn't sure what the deal was up with that, it also left them open for attack. This fight was most likely going to work for a long period of time. The two elders went for Akua and Kahula. It seemed a bit much, though that was only because the two were honestly powerful, but also that the same time, Akua and Kahula are powerful vampires. Regardless, Akua did have a strange power that Master Touhou Fuhai knew about.
Fights were in clusters until they all spread out around the guild; the members tried to fight off each monster they could along with help from the Yokai school. It seemed slightly easier that way. The townspeople were gone and each one was able to go full out on the enemy without worrying about hurting any of Mongolia's people. Fire, ice, and all other types of magic appeared in each direction, but their enemy wouldn't stop just yet. They maintained the strength to keep up with these wizards, which in the beginning they had underestimated them. Bad choice, especially with the Fairy Tail guild, along with the few that were from the other guilds like Blue Pegasus. Such as Kurumu, who was slashing through each monster she could.
Everyone was trying their hardest. Natsu was fighting with all the fire power he had in him to beat as many monsters as he could. Each breath, each flaming fist or kick, he'd make progress fighting these cruel monsters. He knocked one down, grinning. "Man, these guys keep coming!"
"Aye!" Happy yelled, flying up next to him. He was holding a lighted torch in his paws. "I brought you this in case you're hungry!"
Natsu kept his grin as he grabbed it, already starting to eat the fiery contents. "Thanks buddy!"
Monsters rushed for the Dragon-slayer who seemingly let his guard down; yet, they were met with a large blast of fire straight at them. While Natsu was doing just fine, there were a few who were having slight trouble with the monsters, but they ended up fine with the help from the other members. Gray and Mizore was doing well, so was Erza and Moka, who both were using the magic they shared to cut down the enemies. This is going better than I thought it would...especially against Fairy Tale... The vampire thought to herself as she sliced through one of the monsters. She was right, the fight was better than she had originally thought. She thought that everyone would fall quickly, but...they didn't. It gave the vampire some hope that they would leave the battle without too many losses. For now she focused on the fight along with Erza, slashing and using her powerful kicks to defeat each on-coming monster.
"I am glad that this is going well." Erza said, looking over at Moka with a smile.
The vampire nodded. "Right, but we can't let our guard down. Fairy Tale could appear with a secret at any moment."
Erza knew the other was right, turning back to the group of monsters advancing on the two. She quickly changed her armor to her Heaven's Wheel Armor, swords appearing in the air. "Dance, my blades; Circle Sword!"
Moka watched as the hundred of swords went raining down onto the monsters. She was impressed by the display and looked over to the other, who had returned back to her original armor. They immediately went back into the fight. It seemed like the battle was going to continue for quite some time, at least until each side started to grow tired and stop fighting entirely. There was damage consequentially to the fight; some of the houses around them were either destroyed or simply damaged.
Like all battles, it comes to an end at some point. Each war has an ending. Fairy Tail members were starting to get exhausted and so were the monsters, aside from Kahula, Akua, Touhou, and Makarov. Eventually, everyone watched the fight between the strong individuals since they were no longer able to continue fighting; even Moka and Erza were tired out from the fight. Master Touhou Fuhai was busy with Akua because of the Dimension Sword, so Makarov was left with Kahula.
However, everyone stopped when a monster had Moka by the neck suddenly. She tried to get away, but after so much fighting, she was definitely tired. Erza gripped her sword while the others also prepared themselves to fight for their friend.
Makarov shook with rage and looked at Akua. "Leave this place!"
"Not without my sister." Akua replied, looking over at the monster that was making his way over to her.
Erza went charging for the monster, regardless of her tiredness. Akua frowned, bringing her hand up and quick to slash away at Erza, which only affected her armor. She fell to the ground, her armor disappearing. Moka's eyes widened at this before she noticed Tsukune charging for Akua and the monster holding her, but he was knocked away quickly.
"Tsukune!"
She could hear the cries from Kurumu and Yukai, and she found herself whispering his name to herself. Master Touhou Fuhai and Makarov both prepared their attack, Fuhai preparing to counteract Akua's Dimension Sword. Akua raised her hand again, yet, the two elders both attacked, sending the vampire flying a short ways. Touhou, taking this chance, quickly made a tear-like portal in the air which started to suck in all the monsters a part of Fairy Tale.
Moka landed on the ground, staring up at the sky before looking over at her fallen friends. They made it alive at least, she thought before closing her eyes.
The vampire woke up the next day with a slight groan. She first noticed that she was in Erza's house, but she didn't see Erza around anywhere in the room. Her thoughts then went to the day before. Maybe it was all a dream. No, she knew it wasn't; nothing like that could ever possibly be a dream. She sat up, wincing a bit from the light as her eyes adjusted, and got out of bed, heading to the living room area. Erza still wasn't there, but Tsukune was. He was on the couch and at the sight of Moka, he stood up with a slight smile.
"You're awake." He smiled, slightly nervous.
"And you are pointing out the obvious." Moka retorted, grabbing a brush and starting to brush her long hair. "Where is Erza?"
"At the guild, she's alright though. I just came to wait for you to wake up." A slight blush was starting to form on the boy's face.
Moka stared for a moment before putting the brush down and closing her eyes, sighing. She then put her shoes on. "We should head over to the guild, announce that I'm alive, yes?"
They headed towards the guild. The building had suffered some damage, but it wasn't as bad as the Phantom Lord incident where they rebuild an entire new guild hall. Once inside, Moka and Tsukune reached their friends who were having a conversation, but it seemed more like a playful argument. The team started to talk about the fight and mainly the positive things that had came out of it. Moka noticed that some of the members had bandages on them, but she was starting to feel slightly guilty about it. Strange for her. Though, she dismissed those thoughts before noticing Kurumu, Yukai, and FangFang talking to the people from the other two guilds that they had showed up with.
"What are they talking about?" Moka questioned, looking over to Mizore and Tsukune.
Mizore pulled the lolipop she had in her mouth out. "We'll be leaving soon...Master Touhou Fuhai is working on a way to get us back. What he did yesterday was just to get rid of Fairy Tale."
"So...Kurumu and them are telling those guys that they're leaving the guilds." Tsukune concluded.
A frown came onto the vampire's lips as she looked at the Fairy Tail insignia on her own arm. They'll be leaving soon, going back to their own world and unable to see the friends that they had met here. Tsukune noticed the sad look on his friends face and slightly turned away, he knew he couldn't say anything to make the situation better. Though a certain Dragon Slayer brought up the mood with his buffoonery.
Ok, I'm ending this chapter here. I can't write this anymore, writing the fight scene through me off entirely. I'm sorry.
