Gabe still wouldn't answer any of my questions on the ride over to Victor's. After we had packed my bag, I went into the Living Room. Kota and Nathan were sitting there, Nathan smiled as he hugged me goodbye, but it wasn't a real smile. Something was wrong, but they weren't ready to talk about it. I remembered that Kota said sometimes one of the guys might have an issue that they don't want to share yet, but we just had to trust that they would if they needed to. I had to trust that Nathan would come to me when he was ready. I did trust Nathan, but it was hard to leave when he looked like that. Kota walked with me out to the car. "I had a great time Sang." He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss on the lips, but before I could react he had pulled back and was walking back to the house.

Gabe stayed silent in the car whenever I asked a question. The most he said was "stop asking questions Trouble."

As soon as we got to Victor's rooms, Gabe went into the bathroom to play around with covering up his bruise. He said he wanted to get the shading right so he wouldn't have to worry about it tomorrow.

Victor had opened the door out to the balcony and I followed him out to the railing.

"Did you have fun with Kota today Princess?" He was looking at me with such intensity, I wasn't sure what he wanted me to say.

-Victor's POV-

I know that Sang had agreed to date all of us, but now that she has had her first date, I need to know that she still feels that way. If this is going to work we need to all be up front about our feelings. I need her to know that she can talk freely about her other dates with the rest of us. She doesn't have to go into details, I know there will be moments that will stay between her and the rest of us individually. She looks back at me and looks confused, almost scared.

"I did. I haven't been to a museum in a few years, it was exciting and Kota seems to know something about everything." She was looking down at her feet while she spoke, but I could see her smile when she talked about Kota. I moved closer to her, lifting her chin with my finger. When she focused her eyes on mine I dropped my hand.

"Sang, I want you to know that you don't have to worry about talking about your other dates in front of me. As long as I will get a date too, then I want you to feel comfortable sharing with me, even if it has to do with someone else's date."

Her eyes softened, and I didn't see any of the fear that saw before. "It was only a few weeks ago that we were out here talking about your birthday present. You said that all you wanted was for us to take you to do what we liked to do. It was like you were already planning this out and we just had to catch up with you. I asked you then, but I will ask you again, will you go out with me Sang?"

"Sometimes that feels like so long ago, it feels like so much has been happening in the last few weeks. I think I said it before, but I will say it again just to be sure, yes Victor, I would love to go out with you. Where do you want to go?"

I have thought a lot about this. I would love to bring her to see the Charleston Orchestra, but anytime I go I am hounded by the other patrons. Everyone still wants to be seen with me or be the one that convinces me to go up on stage. Plus my mother tries to go to most of the concerts so she can be seen by "her circle" as she puts it. There is no way I will risk Sang being a part of that. "I thought we could go to a Jazz club that is downtown. They have live music on Friday nights and I have gone a few times when I need to relax or if I need to recoup after a particularly tough concert with my father."

"I like all music and I would really like to see where you go to relax." Sang smiled up at me and I would give anything to keep her in this moment. But I have been tasked with telling her what happened to Gabe and I can only hope she doesn't lose that smile.

"Princess, I want to tell you what happened today with Gabe. But before I do, I need you to remember that we are all new at this. We are all figuring out what to do and how to do it. What happened today is not a good representation of what our future will be like."

It felt amazing to say 'our future' – I know it means her future with all of us, but I am a part of that and that's what matters to me. She looks nervous now. She brings her finger up to push her lip in, but I grab her hand before she can do it.

"Nathan is having a hard time adjusting to this new type of relationship. I know he has talked to you about it." She nods, but doesn't say anything. "Nathan wanted to check in with you and Kota while you were on your date. Gabe said that Nathan wanted to text you when you had only been gone about an hour. So Gabe took Nate's phone away. He didn't do it to be mean, he just thought of it as an out of sight out of mind kind of thing. He thought if he could distract Nathan and keep him away from his phone he wouldn't think so much about you being out with someone else."

"I don't understand what this has to do with Gabe's cheek and lip. And Nathan did check in with Kota, when we were at the café."

"I am getting to that Princess. Nathan final couldn't stand it anymore, you were gone longer than Kota had estimated, so Nathan was getting antsy and Gabe wasn't giving the phone back. So Nathan punched Gabe in the face when they were wrestling for is phone. Gabe was in shock and trying to stop his lip from bleeding so Nathan got his phone and that's when he called Kota."

Her eyes grew wide and she took in a shaky breath. "Did Kota know what Nathan did to Gabe?"

"No, he only knew Nate was checking in with you guys. When Nate hung up with Kota, he saw Gabe and freaked out a little. He never meant to actually hurt Gabe, you have to realize that. So he called Dr. Green to come help Gabe and to help him calm down."

"Nathan punched Gabe because I was out with Kota. He said he was okay with this, that he was willing to try."

"And I am sure he meant it Princess. That's what I meant when I said that we all just need to figure out how to adjust to this new type of relationship. I am not saying that what Nathan did was right, but in theory he is willing to try this with you, with us, but he wasn't ready for what it would feel like in practice. All that means is that moving forward he needs to figure out what to do to stay calm, until he is okay with it. And Princess, he will be okay with it, it was just the first date."

I could see her visibly relax, her shoulders lifted and her eyes turned back to a sparkle. "Good, because I want it to work Victor. Can I go call Nathan?"

I nodded and we walked back inside. That went way better than I thought it could. Nathan better realize how lucky he is that we have Sang.
