I've been slacking. I'm sorry, school and shit. I'm just trying to catch up on anime, youtubers,this, and animal crossing. With keeping the grades high so this is a short chapter but a lot of shit is about to go down in upcoming chapters.

Gray woke up to extreme heat. He whipped the blanket off but his skin just began to profusely sweat. He finally opened his eyes to see Natsu staring at him intensely and pacing his room. Confused and shocked he stood up.

He began to try and put the pieces from last night together. "Hey why you turning your room into a sau-"

"Why the hell were you saying Loke's name in your sleep and why do you have his scent all over you?" Natsu was struggling to form words that lacked profanity.

"Well you two fell asleep, and uh...I heard danger so I went to protect you two, and it was just a deer."Gray brushed his fingers through his hair and smiled nervously. Natsu began tearing up and turned away,

"Look, I don't care that you're lying but let me, sniff you, y know to make sure he did't touch you in your...sensitive areas." Natsu wiped his brimming tears away and began walking towards Gray.

"Sure, I guess." Gray knew he was good, unless he went towards his mouth, but his saliva could cover it up, right? Gray twisted out of bed and sat on the edge, removing his boxers and exposing to the pink haired boy. Natsu knelt down in front him and leaned in close to his large package. He inhaled his intoxicating sex and it was pure him. A cold wave burned his nose but it was a pleasant pain. He smiled at the fact there was no other scents, and this could almost arousing, but he suddenly got the larger picture back and felt himself get mad.

"Ow calm down or you'll burn off an important asset to everyone" Gray realized what he said and it was too late. Natsu looked up at him with a pout and licked his finger. He stuck it to Gray cold tip and the ice mage screamed out in pain. It felt like a pin prick as he cupped himself.

Natsu continued on by taking advantage of the situation and sniffed his hands. Only a faint smell could be picked up. The thought of Gray doing something to Loke crossed his thoughts but was quickly thrown aside as the scent would be much stronger and he trusted Gray. Natsu continued upwards his stomach and stopping at his chest. he smelt Loke but not in that area. He noticed Gray shaking and looking at the ceiling. Natsu finally knew where it was!

"Get on the floor, hands and knees." Natsu commanded. Gray obeyed and Natsu straddled Grays shaking knees. He bent down and inhaled his ass, but nothing appeared. He followed hup the curve in his spine and between his chiseled shoulder blades. The strongest scent came from there, and Natsu was furious. He got up and Gray located Natsus boxers once more, throwing them on.

"Explain?" Natsu began pacing again.

"Well he probably had to touch my back since he but a blanket around me..." Gray found another lie to support himself.

"Well okay...but-" Natsu was stopped when Lucy walked in, draped in an old shirt. She rubbed her eyes and examined the situation.

"Gray,you look ridiculous in those boxers, and Natsu cool down, you woke me up with a hot flash. Now you two, hug it out." She waved her finger and Gray stood up. They both moved towards each other, rolling their eyes and sighing. They gave a loose hug like children and backed away.

"Good, now i'm going to whip up something because i'm starving." She smiled and walked out. Natsu followed her and gray fell backwards onto the bed. He let out a deep breath. "Fuck me"

He joined the two in the kitchen who were discussing missions. gray sat down and was greeted. "So any missions you have your eyes on frosty?" Natsu laughed at his own joke as Lucy presented them with eggs, toast and bacon. Happy flew in and grabbed a plate for his fish, joining everyone else at the table. Natsu scarfed his down quickly and Gray decided now was the best time.

"Guys, I was thinking I would take a mission alone" Gray waited for a reaction form Natsu but he kept eating along with Happy.

On the other hand Lucy looked heartbroken. "Why? Do we hold you back?"

"No, I just need some, me time." Gray smiled at her and tried to reassure her. They both looked at Natsu and he was smiling.

"Have fun dude, it gives the original trio time to kick ass again." Natsu said between bites.

"Aye sir!" Happy followed. Gray and Lucy were in shock by Natsus nonchalance, since he literally just claimed them. Something was up.

"So what mission do you think you'll take? And when?" Lucy tried to break the awkwardness of Natsu's statements.

"Well, i'll head down to the guild, pick one, probably grab some stuff from home and head out. So I guess this will be the last you see of me for a couple of days." Gray was making it sadder than it needed to be to gain Natsu's affection, but nothing. He stood up and hugged Luce goodbye.

"I'm leaving flame brains!" Gray yelled out.

"Have fun!" Was his only response. Gray left on his way. Out of range of Natsu's nose, Loke appeared with a flyer and a suitcase. Gray quickly changed into appropriate attire and returned. "Whatcha got for us dude?" Gray questioned.

"We need to catch a theft who is terrorizing some city. Its about two towns over so we'll need to go by train. but it pays quite well." Loke really put thought into everything. Gray and Loke made their way to the train under the radar. When they boarded Gray caught Loke up on what had been happening.

"So he really brushed it off? That's not like him at all really. Especially after being bitten man." Loke was trying to make sense of the whole situation.

"Yeah, it was pretty rude actually. Like maybe it was cause Happy was with us because moments before he was sniffing me down." Gray thought some more.

"No, it doesn't add up. I'm pretty sure I read something about dragon bites but I can't think of it. I think somethings up." Loke was on to something, but before he could finish his though, the train came to a screeching halt. They have arrived at their destination and they got off.

"Well tomorrow he will strike again so lets check in and hit the pub." Loke suggested and it sounded good to Gray.

Lucy finally got Natsu alone and confronted him about his earlier behavior. "Natsu, you acted like such a jerk towards Gray leaving. Why?"

"I know he's lying. I know that he's going with Loke. But I trust him to make the right choices when i'm not there, but that's what I never told you two about bites. I did it wisely and infused you two. So if anyone touched those areas, I feel it. If i feel anything from Gray, i'm going to go get him." Natsu looked down with concern. "I just want you two safe."

"Well if you feel anything, grab me first. How about you, Happy and I go on a mission tomorrow too, to get your mind off of things?" Lucy was always so full with optimism, it was refreshing. Natsu just look up, gave a half smile, and nodded.

Lucy leaned down and peck him on the cheek."Well I better head home, you get some sleep." Lucy left.
