"Ex... pelled?" Corinne choked.
"Why?" Aramina whispered.
"I've already said why." Drosselmeyer stood from his desk "Now go. Right now."
"But we saw them!" Corinne argued "There's a whole slew of plots going on here! You saw some things yourself! Remember?"
"No more." The principal shook his head "Stay away from the students, the school, and the dance. If you do not, I will have no other choice than to have you all expelled."
The four girls looked at each other dejected.
Drosselmeyer sat down and nodded at Treville "Escort the from the premises."
"No need." Corinne said "We know the way out." then she turned and walked out. They were almost to the door when she stopped and looked around.
"Don't even think about it." Treville said.
Corinne sighed "May I at least tell Louis that I can't go to the dance with him? I owe him that."
"He asked you to the dance?" Treville asked in amazement. Then he frowned "I'll tell him."
"Seriously? You?" She shook her head "Please let me tell him. Please?"
"Fine. But make it quick."
He hadn't finished speaking before Corinne spun around and shot down the hall into the library "Please be here. Please be here. Please please please be here." she ran around the corner of one of the book shelves and the next thing she knew, she ran into something, hard and solid then landed on the floor and was instantly pounded by a pile of books.
"Corinne!" Louis said in shock "I am so so so so so so sorry!"
She chuckled slightly "I think I'm getting used to this." then she remembered... she was leaving. How could she get used to it?
He offered her a hand then pulled her to her feet "I'm surprised to see you in here again."
"Yeah..." she took a deep breath then let it out slowly "I... was looking for you."
His eyes lit up slightly "Well, you found me." then his eyebrows rose slightly as he looked at something right behind her.
Corinne glanced over her shoulder to see Treville standing a few feet away "Do you mind?"
"Oh. Sorry." the security captain turned and walked over to the other aisle.
"Is something... wrong?" Louis asked slowly.
"Yes." she looked down at the floor "I... can't go to the dance with you."
His eyes widened "Why not?"
"I've been expelled." she answered "Active immediately."
"Expelled? Whatever for?"
"Random stuff." she shrugged and put on her best smile "I'm sure you can find someone else to go with you. I'm really sorry."
"Me too." he smiled sadly "Will... I ever see you again?"
"Oh sure. I'll..." she stopped "Never mind. Hopefully."
"Let's go." Treville said.
"Good bye." Corinne said quietly as she turned to leave.
"Bye." he sent her a small wave.
She smiled slightly then followed Treville from the school.
Louis sighed "Get a date with the girl of my dreams and now... she's expelled. How often does that happen?"
"This is the worse day of my life!" Aramina exclaimed as she plopped down on Corinne's bed.
"Agreed." Renee sighed, sitting on a small wooden chair in the corner of the room.
"We've been suspended from school! Corinne's been expelled!" Aramina continued "Our grades are going to suffer!"
"And we had to cancel with our dates." Viveca added.
"I'm surprised you're the one who mentioned that." Renee mumbled, leaning the chair back on two legs into the corner.
"What are we gonna do?" Aramina asked.
"What else?" Renee answered.
"We're going to go home and try not to look at the newspapers or pay attention to all the missing students and sad faces when the three of us return." Viveca finished.
"No!" Corinne said, speaking for the first time "We have to go to the dance! We just have to!" she shook her head "We're the only ones who knows what Bertram is planning to do to Louis. Not to mention... Laverna." she pushed her hair out of her face "The Flight of Spring gets performed tonight!"
"But we'll get expelled if we go anywhere near the school!" Viveca argued.
"I don't care if I get kicked out of every school in this whole Universal Studio!" Corinne said stubbornly "I'm going to that dance!" she held her hand out "Now, are you in or not?"
The three looked at each other then smiled "In!" they all said, putting their hands on top of hers.
"All for one. And one for all!" they said in unison.
"Now..." Viveca said a moment2 later "How are we going to get in?"
Corinne smiled nervously "That is a very good question."
"Where's Corinne?" Ro asked Louis the next morning.
"She got expelled yesterday." Louis answered.
"What!?" Ro shook her head "No. No no no no no!" then she then took off running.
"What was that all about?" Liam asked.
"I have no idea."
"Hey, Louis." Elina said, flying up to him "Have you seen Corinne?"
"She got expelled." Louis said slowly.
Elina's eyes widened "Oh no." then she flew off.
Then Kristyn came running over. She was still a brunette "Um... Louis?"
Liam held up his hand to silence her then shouted "EVERYONE! CORINNE D'ARTAGNON HAS BEEN EXPELLED!"
"What!?" the exclamation came from several places in the room.
Tori and Kiera... or Kiera and Tori, came running over "Are you serious?"
"Unfortunately." Louis nodded.
"But the dance is tonight!" Tori-still-dressed-as-Kiera said "She'll miss it."
Louis just shrugged "I know. But the Principal has his reasons."
Because of the dance that evening, there was only a half-day of school.
Kiera, was almost ready to go when Tori's Aunt Amelia stormed into Tori's room and asked if she had finished her book report.
Kiera grinned "Um... my dog ate it?"
Amerlia shook her head "You can just stay in your room all night and write that report!"
Kiera's eyes widened "Huh?" then Amelia walked from the room, closed and locked the door "Hey!" she cried as she grabbed onto the door knob "Let me out!"
"Not until you've learned some manners and responsibilities young lady." Amelia responded.
"No no." Kiera said urgently "You don't understand! I've got to get to the dance! Look, I'm not the Princess. I'm Kiera! And I'm supposed to sing tonight!"
"It's too late for more of your pranks!" Amelia snapped then she turned on her heel and stormed away.
Ro looked down at her Island blue dress "Well... I think I'm ready."
"One more thing." Tika, the baby elephant said "A rose bouquet."
"Thank you." Ro smiled as she took the collection of roses "Now... to the dance."
"I think we're ready." Corinne said, looking down at her long flowing dress.
"I'm amazed we managed to get everything done in this tiny room." Renee huffed "We should have gone to Viveca's house."
"Well, I think it's safe to say we'll have the most beautiful gowns at the dance!" Viveca said proudly.
"At least some of the most beautiful." Corinne corrected.
"How are we going to get past Drosselmeyer and Treville?" Renee turned the subject to the matter at hand "I'm sure they can recognize you from all the other blonds."
"You're right." Corinne said slowly.
"We could wear masks." Aramina suggested.
"Oh yeah, that'll work." Renee rolled her eyes "There will be absolutely nothing suspicious of four girls, a red, a brown, a black, and a blond walking into a school with masks."
"Unless..." Viveca pulled a cell phone out of her pocket and began typing on it quickly.
"When did she get one of those?" Renee whispered.
Corinne shrugged "No clue."
"I decided to treat myself before we got back to Paris." Viveca answered "I can't believe I'm going to have to go back to a place without electricity! Not more blowdryers! No more hot water! But worse than that... no more curling irons!" she huffed "Paris is like in the seventeenth century. "
The other three looked at each other "It is the seventeenth century."
"Well here it's the twenty-first!"
"Maybe that's why History's so hard." Aramina mumbled.
You girls ready for the dance?" Marie asked, opening Corinne's door.
"As we'll ever be." Corinne answered "We'll figure out the details on the way."
"Isn't your dates picking you up?"
"Um... no. We're.. uh..."
Renee quickly took over for the blond "We're going to meet tham at the school. Distance reasons."
"Ah. Got it." Marie nodded "I couldn't believe how excited Corinne was about Louis asking her to the dance."
Aramina grinned mischievously "Oh? She was excited?"
"Oh, yes." Marie laughed, not noticing her daughter's signals to not say anything "Jumping. Spinning. Laughing. A bunch of girly things I've never seen her do before."
"Really?" Viveca and Renee said in unison, both looking at Corinne who was shaking her head.
"Oh yes she..." Marie was cut off as the phone started ringing "Well. Have fun girls." then she ran to answer the phone.
"Girly things?" Renee teased "Spinning? Giggling?"
"She was over exaggerating." Corinne said, then her mother's voice drifted into the room.
"Yes, Mr. Drosselmeyer? Can I help you?"
Corinne's eyes widened "We have to go! Now!" then she and her friends ran from the house. Just as she was pulling the door closed she heard Marie gasp.
"Corinne's been expelled!?"
"You didn't tell you mom!?" Renee asked "Why?"
"I had other things on my mind." Corinne responded "Now, we just need to find a way into the school."
(Well... to be Continued. There's going to be a lot going on the next chapter or two, so bear with me a bti. Also... who else thought Barbie the Pearl Princess was funny? Fav line: "Victims. Never there when you need them." I hope you liked this chapter! Also, something I meant to post in the ND-HB epilogue, how bad would everyone kill me if I did a crossover between Nancy/Hardy Boys and a personal character of mine? She's one of those teen crime fighters that like a mixture between Nancy Drew-Kim Possible and Jackie Chan. He he. So let me know! Laterz Gatorz!)
