I went to take a bath and waited in the bathroom for Meanie to come in and help me get ready for my date with Luke tonight. Nathan was still hiding out in his room when I went into the bathroom. Meanie said he would figure out how to get him out because my clothes for tonight were in the bedroom.

I heard a knock at the door. "You ready Trouble?"

I opened the door just enough for Meanie to squeeze in. His arms were full and walked over to the counter and started putting everything down. "I think I got everything." He set a pair of tan heels on the floor and hung my dress up on the hook by the door. It was a faded jean material with short cap sleeves and a loose pleat skirt that would probably hit right above my knees. There was a tan belt to go around my waist through the belt loops on the dress.

"Where's Nathan?"

"He fucking snuck out the window. When he wouldn't answer my knocks I sent Luke around to look through the window. When he didn't see Nate, he climbed through and moved the dresser out of the way so I could get in." Was Nathan really that scared? I must have looked worried because Meanie said "Don't worry Trouble. He probably just didn't want to get everyone riled up while you were in here relaxing. Luke said he heard Nathan in the shed doing something." While he spoke, Gabriel had turned me to face the mirror and was standing behind me. He was running his fingers through my hair and I closed my eyes at the sensation. If he was trying to keep me calm over Nathan's escape it was working.

Gabriel spent the next half hour blow drying and fixing my hair, then left me to get dressed. He had left my hair down with loose curls. After slipping on the dress and buttoning up the front I stood in front of the mirror. I never paid attention to the way I looked before I met the guys. The most I thought about was what I could do to blend in, but never what I could do to feel this way. I felt pretty and confident. I still am not sure what to do with that confidence, but I knew I didn't want to go back to the old me. How could I ever thank the guys?

I walked out of the bathroom and heard the guys in the living room. I stood in the doorway watching Meanie, Luke, and Nathan play some fighting game on the xbox. I wanted to go over and join in their fun, but I was mesmerized watching them. Over an hour ago Nathan was hiding in his room from Meanie, and now they were sitting next to each other on the couch, joking and laughing together. I felt myself becoming envious of them, all of them. Would I ever feel this comfortable with them or anyone? I started to back up, not wanting to interrupt their fun. I stumbled on the heel of my shoe and slapped my hand against the wall to steady myself. I looked up to see three sets of eyes staring at me.

"Watcha doing Trouble?" Meanies eyes were sparkling. I looked to Luke and his mouth was slightly open and I had yet to see him blink. Nathan's eyes just looked dark and stayed locked on mine. I felt like he was trying to say something to me, but I couldn't figure it out.

"I…uh, I was just going to get some water." I didn't want to admit to watching them. I pointed to the kitchen and turned to walk that way.
Meanie smirked and held his hand out. "Nice try Trouble. You look fucking awesome. Don't you think Luke?" Luke just nodded, but didn't say anything. Gabriel smacked the back of Luke's head which finally made Luke blink. "Yeah, wow. Jeez cupcake, you look amazing."

"Thanks Luke. You look nice too." He had on a pair of light jeans with a light blue and white striped button down shirt. The top three buttons were undone showing a white t-shirt underneath. His hair was pulled back in a clip, that looked familiar, probably one that Gabriel swiped from me.

"Aw thanks Cupcake." He glanced at his phone, then back up to me. "Are you ready to go now? We will be early, but if there isn't a class before ours we can play around in the kitchen until it starts." It was fun to see Luke this excited about our date.

I looked at Gabriel, I am not sure why, but I guess I wanted to get his approval. Meanie smiled at me and then looked at Luke. "Uh, Luke, don't you have something to do first?" When Luke didn't move, Gabriel pushed against his arm and until Luke started to move on his own.

"O, right! Thanks Gabe. I'll go do that. See you soon Sweetie." Luke jogged out of the Living Room, winking at me when he went by. What did he mean see me soon? Didn't he just say we were going to leave now? I was about to ask Gabriel what Luke meant when I heard the doorbell ring. When Meanie didn't move I looked at Nathan. "You're closest Peanut, you get the door."
