-North's POV-

I had to shake my head to get the vision out of my mind. When I looked up at Sang Baby I almost rushed at her, forgetting who else was in the room. Somehow Gabe got in my head and found the exact outfit that I always picture Sang wearing in my dreams. Sang kept her eyes locked on mine, but I could see her cheeks turning red. That's what made me snap out of my fantasy.

I held the flowers out to her. I don't know a lot about flowers, not like Mr. B., but I think I picked out the perfect bouquet. The Calla Lilies were bright white with a little bit of bright pink at the base of each petal. Her eyes shifted to the flowers and a small smile spread across her beautiful lips. She walked towards me and took the flowers from my hand.

"Thank you North. They are wonderful. I'll go put them in the kitchen and then we can go?" She said the last part as a question, like she was nervous. I smiled at that. I was kind of nervous too. Not sure why, considering we have spent time alone together before. I can't think about that now, or I will have to keep my back to her for the whole night.

-Sang's POV-

I'm glad I have the distraction of the flowers. When I took them from North I could feel his eyes practically burning holes into me. I know my cheeks and face are bright red. All I can think about when he looks at me like that is our night in the hotel. After getting the flowers into a vase I take a few deep breaths to calm myself down.

I head back into the living room and stand next to North. "Ready Sang Baby?" I nod and wave to Kota and Nathan. "See you guys later, have a good night." Nathan just smiles but Kota waves back and says "you too Sang."

North walks with me outside and I am slightly disappointed to see that he didn't bring the motorcycle. I don't know why, but I when I was getting dressed I pictured us riding on the motorcycle. North held the car door open for me and whispered as I got in "after seeing you in that outfit, I am regretting not bringing the bike. You would look fucking amazing on the bike tonight." I blush at his bluntness, but I also feel a sense of excitement take over my nervousness. North thought I looked amazing. I couldn't help but smile at the thought.

"Are you excited about the races Baby?"

"I am excited. A little nervous, I have never been to a race before."

North smiled and reached for my hand. He held it for the rest of the car ride as he explained what the races were like. "Well for starters it is not just one race, we will probably see 10 races or so, depending on who comes in tonight. There are bleachers for watching the race and concession stands and stuff."

"Do you race?"

"Sometimes, I won't tonight though."

"How fast do the cars go?"

He shrugged his shoulder. "140 miles per hour on average." 140? Have I ever gone that fast? Was that safe? North quickly looked at me and then back to the road as he started laughing. "Don't worry Sang. I'm not saying it is one hundred percent safe, but it's safer than you are probably thinking." Well, I told them that I wanted to see their interests, so no turning back now.

North turned off the highway and followed a winding road. It looked like there was nothing out here, I couldn't even see any trees. After another curve I saw a some bright lights in the distance. It looked like they would be for a giant parking lot at first, but as we got closer I saw that the lights were mostly circling a track. We were following other cars into a parking lot surrounding the track, and there were already at least a hundred cars and motorcycles parked. North parked the car and came around to open my door. I saw his eyes sweep from my boots to my eyes before looking back to my lips. I blushed at the thought of him kissing me. He stepped back and held his hand out for mine, which I offered him.

We walked up to the gate and North handed money to the person in the ticket booth. "Want something to eat Baby?" I shook my head without thinking. I was hungry, but I didn't want to stop watching everything. Even with North's description I never imagined it to be like this. People were everywhere and of every age. There was a couple that looked like they were in their 80's walking behind a family of 5 with a little baby that looked like he was just learning to walk. The mom was holding one hand and keeping him steady on his feet whenever he started to lose his balance.

I heard the sound of car engines revving and people shouting over the noise. It was a sensory overload, but I couldn't stop looking around trying to take it all in. I vaguely comprehended hearing a familiar name, but it didn't register until North pulled me to a quick stop and his hand yanked away from mine. I looked over at him to see he was shaking hands with another guy and messing the hair of a little boy. The guy was older than us, but younger than my dad, so maybe in his thirties? He was thin and he had a neatly cut beard and mustache. The little boy had sandy colored hair that needed to be trimmed around his eyes. He had to be around seven or eight. He was staring up at North with wide eyes. When North lifted his hand off the boy's head, he immediately reached back for my hand.

"Joe, Tommy, this is my girlfriend, Sang. Sang, this is Joe and his son Tommy. Joe's probably one of the first people I met when I started racing here."

Tommy smiled up at me and Joe put a hand on his son's shoulder. "I was probably the only one stupid enough to approach him that night. He was a little intimidating to the other drivers. I know, you are probably surprised." I laughed at that and wondered if North would ever be described as anything other than intimidating. "Are you going to show her the cars North?" It was Tommy and he was grinning and bouncing on his toes. He looked up at me. "It's my favorite part, sometimes they let me sit in cars before the race."
North looked at me and tilted his head to the side. "What do you think? Do you want to take a look around before the races start?"

"Yeah. Okay." I looked at Tommy. "Do you think I could sit in the car too?" He laughed with me and tugged his dad's hand towards the track. North and I followed behind. We wound our way through the crowd of people, some were already taking spots on the bleachers, others were leaning against the fence. Joe opened a section on the fence and held it open for us to walk through. I stepped onto the dirt track and kept to the side, following the fence line. Tommy let go of Joe's hand and ran ahead to a lineup of cars. There were a bunch of people gathered around and some of them called out to Tommy, messing with his hair just like North did. When we caught up to him I already heard people saying hi to North and asking where he's been. North was just lifting his hand up to everyone in a return greeting.

"Hi North. Did you miss me?" We both turned at the sound of a female voice. She was tall, long straight black hair. She had on a pair of dark jeans and short boots. She was wearing a black tank top that needed to be pulled up on the top and a black short coat over the top. The coat had a logo on the left side, but I couldn't make out what it said.

"Megan." North made the name sound like a sneer. "Is Paul racing tonight?"

"Of course he is. Why aren't you?" Megan looked at me and I saw her eyes move up and down my body. I felt uncomfortable and I tried to move closer to North. He squeezed my hand tighter in recognition of the move.

"Taking a break from racing. A lot has been going on. This is my girlfriend Sang. Sang this is Megan, her brother Paul, races." I nodded at her but couldn't form any words to say a hello.

Megan glanced back at me but then focused on North again. "We've missed you North. It's been a few months. Remember the last time you came out?" Megan started moving closer to North, who took a step back at her approach. It didn't seem to stop her because she kept talking. "We had a lot of fun after the final race."

I felt North stiffen before I heard the grumble of his voice. "I do remember actually. Is that the night you got so hammered after I turned you down that you started making out with Kyle and then threw up on his shoes?" Megan jerked back at his words and picked her head up so her chin was jutting out. Her mouth had turned into a frown, but she tried to smile over it. "Yeah well, it looks like you aren't doing any better." She twitched her chin towards me. "When you're done playing in middle school, I'll still be waiting." With that she walked past North into the sea of cars and people.

"Did-Did you date her?" I was still reeling a little from the insult I am pretty sure she just gave me. Did she think I wasn't good enough for North?

He turned to face me straight on. "No, not really." Not really? How do you not really date someone? "Forget what she said Sang Baby. I will pick you over all the Megans in the world. Fuck, I'll always pick you over any one in the world." He had brought his forehead close to mine and his one hand was brushing stray hairs behind my ear. I leaned up to close the gap between us. His lips connected to mine and I felt him let out a sigh. He kept his one hand on my face, moving it to the back of my head. His other hand wrapped around me, splaying his fingers across the small of my back. I moved my arms up around his shoulders, they were too wide for me to reach all around so I dug my fingers into him to keep my balance. As soon as my nails dug into his jacket he let out growl and pulled me closer to him. The sound mixed with the feeling of his mouth on mine made it feel like heat was dancing off my skin. I slowly parted my lips and brought my tongue out to touch his lips. As soon as I did his body stiffened, before relaxing again and I felt his tongue hit mine. His hand that was at the back of my head twirled around my hair and gently tugged at it as he guided my head to match his movements. His other hand moved from my back to the side, squeezing at my hip. Another shot of heat burst through me and I felt myself trying to get closer to him, if that was possible. I heard something in the back ground and it finally clicked that it was whistles. I pulled away from North, who wouldn't move his eyes away from mine. I shifted my head enough to see a large group of people looking at us. Most of them smiling and laughing. Someone shouted for North to get a room, which made him step back from me, grabbing my hand as he faced the crowd. "Fuck off Paul." I looked up at North, but he was smiling down at me.

"I think we should probably go back to the bleachers and get ready for the races Baby." I just nodded. Was it bad that I wanted to suggest we go back to the car and kiss again? Would he think it would mean I didn't want to watch the races? Maybe we could watch a few races first.
