We watched three more races. North's hand stayed wrapped around my waist the entire time, every once in a while his fingers would trace circles on my hip, over my clothes. At the end of the third race he leaned in close to my ear and whispered "it's time to go Baby, are you ready?"

All of a sudden I was nervous. Did he still want to kiss me? I nodded and stood up with him. We made our way off the bleachers and started walking towards the front gate. North grabbed my hand and tugged me to walk faster. I had to do this awkward skip run thing to keep up with him. We passed through the gate and he still kept up his fast pace. It was hard to spot the car from far away, the parking lot was practically dark, with only a few dim overhead lights. North seemed to remember exactly where it was though because he never paused or backtracked.

All of a sudden North let go of my hand and in one smooth sweep he grabbed my hips and swung me over in front of him, pushing me against what must be our car. His mouth crashed down on mine as I was still orienting myself against the car, so it took me a second to respond. I brought my arms up around his neck and moved one hand into his hair. He let out a soft grunt and moved in closer to me. I let out a puff of air as he pressed me against the car even more, it was uncomfortable against my back and he was so close it was hard to breath. He pulled his lips away from mine and took a half step back. He didn't say anything, just scanned my face for an answer.

"You smushed me." It was all I could say, not very eloquent.

"Sorry Baby, are you okay?"

I smiled at his immediate turn from relaxed North to concerned North. "I'm fine." I looked around, all of a sudden realizing we were in the middle of the parking lot. It might have been pretty dark, but anyone else could walk by at any time. Had anyone seen us? Did North care?

North looked around too, probably trying to see what I was looking for. "What?" He seemed annoyed that he couldn't see whatever it was that he thought I saw.
"I was just…what if someone walked by?" North let out a huff and smiled.

"Christ Baby, I thought you actually saw something. It's dark out here, nobody would see us if they were just walking to their car." He took another step away, but kept his hands on my hips. "I have been waiting for the last hour to do that. I couldn't wait any longer." He leaned over to grab the door and swung it open. It was my door, not the back door. When people made out in cars, didn't they make out in the back seat? When North was drugged that one time he wanted me to come in the back seat with him because he wanted to kiss me. I hesitated while I was thinking it through.

"It is getting late Baby, we should probably get home so you are rested for school tomorrow." When I still didn't move he continued. "Something wrong Baby?"
I looked up at him and I know I was blushing. "Isn't it easier to kiss in the back seat?" North's eyes grew wider and his mouth opened a little.

"You want to go in the back seat and make out with me Baby?" He was smiling now, his arm resting on top of the open door. I looked at the car, and then back to North.
"I thought that's what we were going to do." I know I am slow on understanding these signals from the guys, but I am pretty sure I read it right. North wanted to kiss me, so why was he making me ask him?

North took his arm off the door and once again moved in closer to me. "I love that you were comfortable enough to do that with me Baby. But I don't want to make out with you in the back seat of a car." He paused and closed his eyes briefly and then shot them back open. "Let me rephrase that. I really want to make out with you in the back seat of the car, but we aren't going to do that. It makes me feel like we are trying to sneak around if we do that. And I don't want you to feel that way." I wasn't feeling that way until he said something. I glanced at the back door, then up to North. I just nodded, afraid to give away my slight feeling of disappointment. I shouldn't have even tried, because North caught on right away.

"I know Baby. But don't worry, we have lots of time to make out." He once against brought his lips to mine, but didn't hold them there for long. "You should get in the car though before I change my mind." Part of me wanted to stay put so that he would change his mind, but I wasn't feeling that confident yet. I slid into the seat and waited for North to come around to his side. He started up the car and then reached for my hand, holding it the whole way home.

The drive seemed to go too quickly and soon we were pulling into Nathan's driveway. No cars were in the driveway and the front porch lights were on. North walked with me up to the door and opened it, without knocking. We moved into the living room and saw Nathan, Luke, and Gabriel spread out around the room. Nathan and Gabriel were on either end of the couch, feet out in front of them crossed on the floor. The coffee table was moved to the side of the room and Luke was on his back on the floor. His arms crossed behind his head. They were watching a movie that I didn't recognize, but they had all turned their heads to us as we walked in. Luke shot up off the floor and Nathan and Gabe sat up straighter.

"How was it Trouble?" I smiled at Meanie, wanting to thank you for picking the perfect outfit for North.

"Awesome!" I looked up at North, who was still holding my hand and I blushed, remembering our kisses and North's confession on the bleachers. I tore my eyes away from North's to look back at the other guys. They all had wide eyes, except Nathan. Nathan's eyes were slightly narrowed. I wanted to ease the tension. "I'm going to learn to race!" North's hand tightened around mine before I pulled it away. I leaned up and kissed him on the cheek before bouncing to the bedroom. Maybe that wasn't the best way to ease the tension, but I think they would rather hear that than how much we kissed, and how much I liked it.
